Every face is completely unique, even identical twins have slight differences in their faces when they are formed in utero. Our greatest expressive feature, as human beings, are our faces; even the most subtle differences between twins, are what makes up their individuality.

The human face shares many basic characteristics in common, such as eyes, a nose, a mouth and what we usually call “that little thingy” between our noses and mouths. We are referring to that groove, more prominent in some faces than others, that is actually called the “philtrum”.

Strangely, it has no function at all; rather it is a residual part of our evolution from the fish! In this fascinating short video below, you will hear about how this philtrum is formed, when the parts of our face come together, “like pieces of a puzzle” during the second and third month of our development in our mother’s wombs.

It helps to explain the uniqueness of each of our faces. Watch the video below for more information!

Apparently This Is The Simple Trick To Clear Your Nose Instantly! I’m So Glad I Learned THIS

Allergy season is upon us and although the harsh winter weather is over, our bodies are working overtime and immune systems might be running a little low. Don’t let a measly head cold bring down this spring and summer. Use these easy tips to relieve a runny nose anytime and anywhere.

The first trick is to press hard on the roof of your mouth, closest to your teeth, with the tip of your tongue for about one second. Then push on the spot between your eyes with the firm pressure of one finger for one second. Alternate these actions for about twenty seconds in order to rock your vomer bone which is behind your nose.

The rocking back and forth motion of this bone will release the congestion in your sinuses. You can repeat this method as much as is needed for your sinuses to be clear enough for breathing.

Another secret is to tip your head back, pinch your nose, and hold your breath for as long as you can. When you are finally forced to take a breath, your sinuses will clear automatically thanks to your survival instinct. This instinct kicks in when your brain realizes that you are not obtaining enough oxygen and responds to remedy the situation.

This technique can also be repeated for temporary relief of sinus pressure due to a pesky cold or flu.

What Does Your Nose Shape Reveal About Your Personality?

Noses are a prominent feature on our faces and they impact our lives in several major ways. Not only do they help with breathing and detecting scents, they also protect us by preventing bacteria and other airborne debris from entering our bodies. Noses also play a factor in our sense of taste and they affect the way our voices sound.

Love them or hate them, our noses are a major part of what makes us who we are. While we all have our own uniquely personal one, they have been narrowed down and classified by shape into just a handful of distinct categories. Furthermore, each type of nose has been matched up with its own special characteristics and personality traits. Whether you were aware of it or not, your nose can actually reveal a lot about you!

All of this comes from a study conducted by Abraham Tamir, a professor at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel, that was published in the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery. For his study Professor Tamir collected over 1,790 pictures of noses that included both artwork, such as paintings and sculptures, and candid photographs of different people that were taken all over Europe and Israel. He then went through all of the photos and matched each one up with a work of art that displayed a nose most similar to it. Finally, the personality traits which happen to be most commonly associated with each piece of artwork were then attributed to the matching nose types.

Based on the results of Professor Tamir’s study and conclusions, the following quiz was developed. All that you have to do is look closely at your nose and figure out which nose shape it resembles and matches up with the best. Once you select the corresponding nose shape, your nose-based personality profile will be revealed and you can read all about it. Have fun and enjoy!

A Simple Life Hack To Clear a Stuffed Nose and Clogged Sinus In Seconds During The Polar Vortex 2019

No one ever says that they like having a stuffy, clogged up nose. When your sinuses are super blocked and you can only breathe out of your mouth, it’s more than enough to make life miserable. The uncomfortable stuffy feeling can even hurt and lead to other health problems. Breathing becomes labored, lips get dry, chapped, and cracked, while the accompanying pressure building in your head may lead to headaches, ears popping, and other types of sinus pain.

Most of us reach for a tissue to blow our noses, but when you’re really backed up, it can seem downright futile. When all of the sniffling and blowing into tissues fails to clear your nasal passages, it’s enough to drive a sane person mad. That’s why so many people end up buying expensive nasal sprays and other types of decongestants. However, these don’t always work and they are simply not for everyone.

Instead of suffering though the congestion or reaching for a product which may not even be effective, try one of these alternative methods. They are safe, completely all-natural, cost nothing, and have been proven to work. This is one of those types of things that you’ll be glad you tried out and your nose will finally be clear, making life instantly better! Check out the accompanying video for more and keep reading for exactly how to perform the techniques:

1) Tongue Tap and Eyebrow Touch- Start by pressing your tongue tip up against the roof of your mouth. Keep it there for a few seconds before releasing it. Immediately afterwards press your finger on the middle point of your forehead that’s located right between your eyebrows. Press this spot on and off for at least 20 seconds or more. The congestion in your head should begin to clear out and you can start to breathe easy again.

2) Hold Your Breathe- This is the simplest trick you can do to clear your nose. Tilt your head back, pinch your nose closed, then hold your breath for as long as you possibly can. When you absolutely must take a breath, or are about to black out, exhale and then breathe in through your nose. This should have cleared your nasal passages and drained them of what was clogging them up!

There you have it, the easiest tricks that will get rid of a stuffy nose!
