Lady Takes Way Too Much Stuff Through The Express Lane. Then THIS Cashier Has The Most Epic Response!

Anyone who has ever had someone cut the line in front of them knows how annoying and disrespectful it can be.  While some people will loudly call the person out for their rude behavior, most just look the other way and silently curse the perpetrator.  When it happens in the express lane meant for customers with 10-15 items or fewer, and the person cutting has well over the maximum allowed, that takes it to a whole other level of rotten behavior.

While the majority of people are considerate of others and follow the rules, there’s always that one person who thinks they’re above it all and can do whatever they please.  That’s what happened to one man shopping at Walmart when he was getting into the express line. A woman suddenly came rushing forward with her overloaded cart and nearly knocked him over so she could get in front of him.  All that he had in his hands was a bottle of soda, bag of chips, gallon of milk and a loaf of bread, so it wouldn’t have taken him that long to cash out and pay for his items. In comparison, the woman had a shopping cart brimming with goods, well over the 10 item limit.  Even so, the woman didn’t offer him the chance to go before her, as is common courtesy.

Everyone else in the line who had seen what the woman had done looked at her in disbelief and shook their heads at how rude she was.  When it was finally her turn the lady began piling her items up on the small counter and the cashier politely asked her which 10 items she wanted her to scan.  The woman said all of them to which the cashier replied that she was only allowed to have 10 items max in the express line and that she’d only scan that amount.

This unexpected response from the cashier infuriated the woman and she began to angrily throw her stuff back into her cart and cause a scene.  She shouted and ranted and raved about how she was being disrespected. Blinded with rage, she shoved her cart around and in the process almost banged it into an elderly man who was sitting down on a nearby bench.  Everyone around started laughing at her, which naturally only made her madder, and she tossed out a few choice words to the crowd as she went over to the normal line to wait her turn.

The man who she had cut off finally got to check out and when his total came to $8, he gave the cashier $28 and told her the extra was a tip.  According to him, in dealing with the rude woman she had put on the best comedy show that he’d seen in a long time. It turned out to be the perfect way to politely deal with a rude customer and show her the error of her ways.  Even if she didn’t really appreciate it, everyone else nearby and in line did!

Cashier Paid For Boy Who Couldn’t Afford His Order. But Then He Came Back For a Huge Surprise!

A small act of kindness can go a long way. Sometimes the littlest of things that we think nothing of doing end up having an real impact on others. One child’s interaction with a friendly cashier is a perfect example of this.  A young boy went up to Travis Sattler, an employee at Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Katy, Texas, towards the end of his shift.

The child seemed nervous and was worried he did not have enough money to pay for a mini cup of mint Oreo custard he had ordered. He anxiously handed over a few crumpled bills and change but he came up short. That was when Travis pulled out his own wallet, took out his credit card, and paid for the boy’s dessert himself.

He told the kid to keep his money and that it was on him, which made the surprised child smile and light up with gratitude. Travis went about his work and didn’t really think twice about his random act of kindness. A short time later the boy gave Travis a note as he left the restaurant with his mother.

It read “Thank you for being so nice and paying for my concrete. We need more people like you!” Accompanying the note was a $100 bill which Travis plans to save towards nursing school. In keeping with the generous and giving spirit of this whole event, the management at Freddy’s even matched the tip!

It is truly refreshing and nice to see how one random act of kindness can turn into an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. The boy’s note is right, we do need more people like Travis Sattler.

He Tries To Rob A Gas Station. But He’s In For An Unexpected Surprise With This Marine Working The Counter!

This man chose the wrong gas station to rob. I imagine he was thinking he would get some easy cash by threatening the innocent clerk and running off with the winnings, and I’m sure he assumed that the clerk would be terrified and easily give up the stash.

He would probably be right in almost all cases, but not this one. What made this robbery go very poorly for this would be thief? In this case, the clerk turned out to be a former marine combat instructor, as well as a karate blackbelt who had been practicing kung-fu for the last 25 years.

How did an untrained, common thief sneak up on such a well trained veteran? That part is simple: the clerk lives in a town where the crime rate is low, allowing him to be trusting of his fellow man. This is a rare thing in many places, but there are still areas left where people trust each other for good reason.

In this rare instance, his customer was the antithesis of trustworthy, but his experiences on the job up to this point warranted giving him the benefit of the doubt. The young man walked up under the pretenses of buying soda, but when the clerk turned to put the cash in the register, the suspect snuck up behind him, brandishing a menacing knife.

The former marine’s training kicked in and he immediately disarmed the attacker and stunned him by putting him in an arm lock and pushing him into the wall. He was being careful not to mess up the store too much, he says, because he knew he would have to clean it up after.

In the end, he sent the suspect running out the door, not likely ever to return again.
