Love and marriage is truly one of the best perks of being a person on planet earth. When you find “the one” or your true soulmate, it’s as if fireworks, sparks and everything from the fairy tale love stories becomes real. When marriage and love last for decades as a couples grow old together, they all go through ups and downs. It’s not all sunshine and roses, but if there is love, trust and good communication you can get through the good, the bad and the ugly no matter what!
This brings us to today’s beautiful love story between a couple who had been married for decades. They had an amazing relationship that truly did last the test of time. Their love and commitment to each other was undeniable and when you hear the rest of this story you will soon understand why. Like all couples, things would sometimes get tense, but from their recollection the decades they had been together were amazing. But, strangely nobody ever saw them fight or yell at each other, and neither of them could even recall a single screaming bout.
One day the wife was admitted to the hospital and doctors told her, that she had an incurable disease, there was nothing they could to stop it and she would soon die. Their entire marriage she was holding back a secret that not even her husband knew and it was pretty much the key to why they never even had a single fight.
Right before they were married, she recalls her grandma telling her that if the marriage was to last, they should never fight or argue. On the surface to most of us this seems like a pretty tall order. Many couples can’t even get through a few hours without bickering at each other. However, she took her grandmother’s advice to heart and decided to follow her instructions to a T.
The couple had been together for decades, her husband truly couldn’t recall a single fight they ever had, and for the most part it had honestly been the best marriage ever. They always talked through everything calmly and peacefully and somehow throughout all the years this just worked to everyone’s amazement. They were always honest and told each other absolutely everything. Well almost everything, the man’s wife had a box that she kept on the top shelf of the closet in her room.
She had always told him he was not allowed to open the box under any circumstances. He had always wondered why, but his curiosity didn’t get to the point that he ever secretly went into her closet and opened it. He respected her privacy and her wishes for him not to open this ‘secret box’.
Now that her time on earth was soon coming to end as she was suffering from a terminal disease. She believed if she passed on and her husband opened the box without her telling him what was in it and the reason behind it, he may be angry and take it the wrong way.
One day in the hospital she said to him, I want you to go back to house get the box and open it, so I can tell you my one secret I have kept from you for all these years. Her husband agreed, left the hospital went into her closet and got the ‘forbidden box’. He opened it up, and saw two dolls which were crocheted and then he was stunned to see that there was $95,000 dollars underneath the two dolls! He was obviously very confused, but he drove back to the hospital immediately.
He walked into her hospital room, and she finally revealed the truth about this box and what it meant. She started off by telling him every time she felt like she felt angry at him, wanted to fight scream and yell, she would instead calmly just knit a doll instead. She had done this for decades without him having any idea this was going on.
He couldn’t believe what he was hearing and was so moved that he instantly began to cry happy and sad tears all at the same time. He loved this woman so much and he couldn’t believe she made this sacrifice to make their marriage absolute perfection. He said to her since there are only two dolls in the box does that mean you were only mad at me twice? Also where did the $95,000 dollars come into all of this.
She laughed and told him, the $95,000 was from selling all the other dolls she had crocheted throughout the years. He laughed as well as he always enjoyed her sense of humor that she maintained all the way up to her last moments on earth. This story is a great reminder that true love does still exist out there and hopefully all of us will one day be as blessed as these two amazing people and meet our soulmates.

In a spray bottle container mix together 2 parts isopropyl alcohol with 1 part water and then add in 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap. Shake it up, spray it directly onto an icy windshield, and watch the ice literally melt away right before your very eyes!
This rubbing alcohol spray is the perfect thing to have on hand for freezing cold mornings and icy windshields. You can leave the bottle in your car and it won’t even freeze, unless it gets well under zero. That’s because the freezing point of isopropyl alcohol is -128.2 degrees Fahrenheit, so when you spray it on the ice, it doesn’t freeze up. Instead, it helps to melt the ice and keeps it from re-freezing. Since all you have to do is mist it on, it’s by far the quickest and easiest way to clear a windshield that’s coated with a thick layer of ice.

5) Organize Winter Gear- Hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, hand warmers, neck warmers and all other winter accessories can be neatly stored in one accessible place with a shoe organizer. Hang it over a door and never search for lost gloves again.
6) Windshield Treatment- This one is the best! A combination of vinegar and water works wonders at preventing frost and ice from building up on car windshields and windows. Mix the two liquids up in a spray bottle, spritz it on car windows, then wipe off with a soft cloth.
7) Boot Tray- Keep floors safe, clean, and dry by making your own boot tray. This one is much more appealing than commercially available ones and works even better. Fill a large metal cookie sheet with a layer of decorative rocks and put it near the door so that when people enter they can immediately place wet boots on the rocks. The water will drip through the rocks to the bottom and soon evaporate. Remove stubborn old bumper stickers cleanly and completely with WD-40. Simply spray the sticker with WD-40 and let it sit for a while, the sticker will absorb it, then you can peel it right off.

Clean air vents with small foam brushes. They can easily fit in even the smallest vents and pick up all the dirt and dust inside them.

Dad Left His 2-Year-Old Baby Girl With a Stranger At Court

No one wants to get pulled over by the cops but for many of us it eventually ends up happening. Everyday thousands of people get cited for driving offenses and whether it’s for speeding or having a headlight out, there’s always the possibility that you’ll end up getting a ticket. If and when you do, that’s usually just the beginning, afterwards the stressful process of dealing with it begins. Sometimes you can just pay a fine but for some infractions, or if you choose to fight the ticket, you have to go to court.
Such was the case for Jose Moncayo of Orem, Utah when he received a notice to appear in traffic court for a ticket. Being the father of a two year old daughter named Abi, he tried to arrange childcare for when he’d be in court. After asking his friends and family, none of them were able to help on such short notice, so he had no choice but to bring his little girl to court with him.
Oftentimes in traffic court you have to wait for your turn to appear which is what Jose and his daughter did. Being stuck in the hallway of a government building is less than exciting for anyone, especially for a young child, and Abi quickly grew bored and restless. She wandered around and would walk off looking for something to do, forcing Jose to chase after and keep a close eye on her.
When it was finally his turn to go before the judge, he took Abi’s hand and was about to enter the courtroom when the bailiff stopped him and said that children were not allowed inside. What was he to do? He couldn’t leave his young daughter alone and he couldn’t bring her with him, there was no real option at that point.
Thankfully, officer Kevin Norris was nearby and offered to watch Abi while her dad went before the judge. He had been in the hallway with the pair and was also waiting his turn to go in the courtroom. As a father himself and seeing the dilemma Jose was in, he didn’t hesitate to volunteer to babysit Abi. Since he was in uniform, Jose felt it would be okay to leave his daughter with the cop, plus at that point it was his only real option. While he dealt with the traffic ticket, officer Norris and Abi had as wonderful time you could in a court building.
They pair walked around and explored the courthouse further than she’d been able to before. They went hand in hand to the water fountain and visited various officials who ended up giving the little girl treats. When that got old officer Norris took out his cell phone and played cartoons, he knew his own children loved to watch for the girl. After a short while, Abi grew tired and eventually fell asleep next to him with her head resting on his tummy!
That was the sight that greeted her father when he finally emerged from the courtroom. He couldn’t believe his energetic daughter was asleep in the officer’s arms and before he woke her, he took a picture of the sweet scene. What had been a terrible predicament had turned out to be what was arguably the best possible scenario. His daughter actually had a good time while waiting at the courthouse and was safe and sound with officer Norris. It just goes to show how a little kindness and understating goes a long way and can make a big difference in people’s lives.

Relationships are hard work. What makes them even harder is when a partner has a negative habit or quality that especially bothers you. That was the case for Karen Cook whose ex-husband refused to cut his hair. Ian and Karen Cook were married for several years and parented two beautiful twins. Eventually, they got divorced but agreed to try to get along so they could successfully co-parent their kids. Things were going well except for one thing: Ian’s massively overgrown hair.
The 54-year-old man worked in Stanford in utilities. Ian thought it unnecessary to cut his hair since he didn’t work with the public. It got to the point where he had gone four years without a haircut! He rarely shaved his beard and it had grown past his shoulders.
Even his kids began to notice. They were so embarrassed that they stopped coming to the house as often because their girlfriends were so weirded out by Ian. They even nicknamed him the Connecticut Gandalf after the Lord of the Rings character..
Karen was desperate for Ian to cut his hair for the sake of himself and his children. She knew she needed to do something big to get him to cut it. Karen was a huge fan of Rachael Ray and thought that if anyone could get through to Ian, it would be her.
In 2015, the entire family was invited to come on her show to get through to him. Ian agreed to come and was given a complete makeover. Even Karen couldn’t believe how good he looked without all the hair. It truly goes to show the power of appearance in a relationship!

It is wonderful to have our homes smell good, and scented candles became very popular over the last decade. That is, until it was discovered that many of these candles and scented sprays contain really dangerous chemicals, that can cause permanent lung damage.
I, myself, have stopped using those candles that I used to love, because of the inherent health hazard they carry. I’m always looking for natural alternatives that are chemical free, to provide a nice fresh smell in my home. When I came upon this DIY video for creating a natural air freshener I was intrigued.
The video below is a great tutorial for how to easily, inexpensively and quickly make your own fresh and chemical-free deodorizer. Two alternative versions are demonstrated, which differ slightly in how they release the fragrance.
For both versions, all you will need are: a MASON JAR WITH A TIN LID, HAMMER, FORK, EMPTY CANDLE CONTAINER, SCREWDRIVER, BAKING SODA AND SOME ESSENTIAL OIL. The DIY is easy to follow, and gives you a great means to slow-release a pleasant scent into any room in your home.

I never love it when people feel the need to blast the music in their car so loudly, that it imposes on everyone else. However, in the case of the car playing a Latino song in the video you are about to watch below, I had to drop my judgement…it put a big smile on my face! This pup doesn’t seem to mind the music whatsoever. He shows all the onlookers just how good his fancy paw work is..
Sometimes when you hear the music you just have to let loose and let the rhythm carry you away. There is nothing more therapeutic than stopping everything you are doing, clearing your mind, forgetting about all your stress and anxiety and just dance like nobody is watching. Luckily for us people happened to be watching the dog in this video and caught it all on video!
The music had a ‘feel good’ beat and melody, made better by a dog who happened to be passing by…he was clearly feelin’ it. No judgement for this pup who is drawn to cross the street to get closer to the music. As he saunters over, you won’t believe his moves. He rides the beat like he was a classically trained dancer except he adds his own style and flare to his dance.
He bops up and down to the beat with such precision! Seriously, has he been taking dance lessons? I’ve never seen any video of an animal moving to a beat, that approaches anything like the skills, of this ‘beyond cool’ dog! It may actually motivate you to get up and dance along.

It is wonderful to have our homes smell good, and scented candles became very popular over the last decade. That is, until it was discovered that many of these candles and scented sprays contain really dangerous chemicals, that can cause permanent lung damage.
I, myself, have stopped using those candles that I used to love, because of the inherent health hazard they carry. I’m always looking for natural alternatives that are chemical free, to provide a nice fresh smell in my home. When I came upon this DIY video for creating a natural air freshener I was intrigued.
The video below is a great tutorial for how to easily, inexpensively and quickly make your own fresh and chemical-free deodorizer. Two alternative versions are demonstrated, which differ slightly in how they release the fragrance.

This rubbing alcohol spray is the perfect thing to have on hand for freezing cold mornings and icy windshields. You can leave the bottle in your car and it won’t even freeze, unless it gets well under zero. That’s because the freezing point of isopropyl alcohol is -128.2 degrees Fahrenheit, so when you spray it on the ice, it doesn’t freeze up. Instead, it helps to melt the ice and keeps it from re-freezing. Since all you have to do is mist it on, it’s by far the quickest and easiest way to clear a windshield that’s coated with a thick layer of ice.

Each Time This Spoiled Lil Rabbit’s Dad Stops Petting Him The Bunny Throws The Funniest Tantrum!

Some animals know exactly what they want and oftentimes they enjoy receiving a nice, gentle, relaxing hand massage from their human companions. It’s no secret that many of our furry pets love to be pet, which may be why we call them “pets” in the first place. Or maybe it’s the other way around, and we call it petting because they are our pets. Whatever the case may be, lots of animals simply love being stroked and scratched. They usually have a sweet spot where they especially like being rubbed. For cats it seems to be around the cheeks, dogs like their ears and back scratched, and then there are some whose sweet spot is everywhere and anywhere.
The little bunny in this video seems to fall in the latter category. From the looks of it he likes being pet all over, especially down his backside. The man in the video gently strokes his ears, nose, cheekbones, temples, head, and back, while the bunny twitches his nose and sits with a content expression on his face, his body completely relaxed and at ease.
When the man stops petting him the bunny is clearly not happy about it. He stamps his furry little paws and lets out adorable growling sounds in protest. It might just be the cutest behavior I’ve ever seen a rabbit do! At one point the furry little guy searches for more pet-pets by crawling under the man’s hand, urging him to resume the mini-massage that he so rudely ended. This bunny knows what he wants and he’s basically telling the man through his grunts, growls, and foot thumping that he is not pleased the cuddle session ended!
Contrary to popular belief, lots of rabbits love being pet and shown affection. The areas they most enjoy being pet is on their head and down their backside. Many often like their dewlap, the roll of skin underneath their chin, scratched and rubbed, but some don’t like this at all. The bunny will let you know whether or not it’s enjoying the attention. When they purr, chatter their teeth, flop over, and close their eyes it means they like it and if you stop and they poke your hand with their head it means “don’t stop, keep petting!”
Rabbits are very expressive, you just have to know how to read them, and over time you become familiar and accustomed to an individual one’s behavior. Like every other pet, they have their own distinct personalities!

Not many animals really enjoy taking trips, much less one to the veterinarian’s office. Just like people hate visiting the doctor, our pets hate visiting the vet! Who can blame them, the smells and sights they encounter there are totally foreign and strange. There are other animals in close proximity which makes them even more nervous and the vibe that all this leads to is one of fear and anxiety.
Even though most vets are absolutely incredible and gentle with our pets it really doesn’t make much difference. Not to mention, many times when we bring our pets to the vet it is because they’re sick or injured and that makes them associate the place with pain and sadness. Basically if you have a pet who doesn’t mind going to the vet consider yourself blessed!
While many pets have no clue they’re headed to the vet, some animals have developed a 6th sense for it. They seem to instinctively know that they are about to go to the animal hospital and freak out before you can even get the leash on or stick them in the carrier! Cats will run and hide somewhere impossible to drag them out of, dogs will bark or cower in fear, and some birds will throw a hissy fit!
At least that’s what the cockatoo in this clip does. His name is Max and he is one the cutest, most hilarious birds you’ll ever see! When his owner breaks out his carrier to take him to the vet, Max runs under a shelf and hides in the darkest corner he can find. He’s a very vocal bird and gives his human companion a piece of his mind, letting him know exactly how he feels about the vet. The sound of his voice is strange, it’s almost like he’s possessed and it’s hard to make out what he’s saying.
When the camera shot changes, we can see Max has come out of his dark hole and is now under a bench. His owner is still trying to get him into his carrier and he’s still putting up a fight! His tone is the only thing that really changes, it’s much more clear and according to his owner he’s saying “What did I say” and “I don’t wanna.”
The angry little fella walks around with his chest all puffed out and he flaps his wings in protest. Even though he’s upset, it’s absolutely adorable! In the end, it’s in his best interests to go to the vet so they can make sure he’s all healthy and up to date on things. Many people struggle to remove these stains and often think that they need strong, harsh chemical cleaners to get rid of them effectively. However, there’s a better and more affordable way to go about cleaning a shower head with crusted on mineral build up. All you need is apple cider vinegar, a Ziploc bag, and a rubber band.
