There is something about Irish folk music that just makes you want to move your feet. The lively jigs are hard to ignore and no matter what type of animal or feet you may have, they seem to get into your body and soul and take over! Even adorable little parrots are not immune to the infectious tunes, just watch and see how this lovebird reacts to a Celtic song that’s playing. The black headed bird knows how to get down and boogie woogie when the music gets turned up. He jumps up and down, taps and kicks his tiny feet, and manages to pull off some sweet high step moves, all in time to a lively Irish tune.

The sprightly little fellow dances an Irish jig just as good, if not even better, than the professional River Dancers do! It’s awesome to see this feathery guys energetic, hippity-hoppity display, and it’s safe to say this parrot has one superb natural talent.

The beautiful, vibrant, blue and white feathered lovebird is typical of how energetic and fun loving the small subspecies of parrots are. Lovebirds are very small, friendly, warm, and caring types of parrots, which is part of the reason why they have the word “love” in their name.

The colorful birds also earned the name because they form longstanding relationships and break off into monogamous pairs. Furthermore, they strengthen their affectionate bonds with their significant other by spending extensive amounts of time sitting alongside their lover.

The clever birds have long captured the imaginations and hearts of people all over the world and they’re often kept as pets. If treated properly they can form ultra close bonds with their human counterpart and when they really like you, they will nestle, cuddle, and even preen you. Check out this one’s adorable dance routine and see how awesome they really are!

Have you seen a bird that has such fancy footwork?

Parrot Finds A Paper Towel On The Floor Then Proceeds To Do The Funniest Dance!

image via –

Parrots are not simple-minded “bird brains” and they are perhaps the smartest species of bird on Earth. The often colorful, and always endearingly clever, birds have long captured both the imaginations and hearts of people all over the world. Usually when people think of parrots the image that pops up in their mind is of one sitting on top of a pirate’s shoulder, maybe it’s even sporting a matching eye patch, and usually it has a bit of a dark edge.

While this popular image has endured throughout history and culture, it doesn’t do real-life parrots any justice. They’re so much more fun and complex than some old sea captain’s sidekick, and they need a lot of focus and love. Parrots require your attention and proper training in order to truly thrive and be all that they can be.

The beautiful orange, red, white, yellow, and green feathered parrot in this video is proof of how energetic and fun loving they really are. The clips star is named Little Bird and he is a black headed Caique, which is a subspecies of parrot. The pretty bird is one happy fellow and knows how to get down and play when a few paper towels are thrown his way.

The sprightly bird dances around and jumps up and down, kicking his tiny legs and clicking his talons on the wood floor. It’s like he has happy feet, as he pulls off some sweet high stepping moves and looks absolutely adorable doing it. He rolls around and wraps himself up in the paper towels and grabs at it with his tiny beak, giving a little whistle or chirp here and there.

It’s awesome to see Little Bird’s energetic, hippity-hoppity display, and it’s safe to say this parrot is well taken care of. While parrots are best known for their speaking abilities, they can be trained to do a number of other tricks. Many are taught to do all sorts of neat things, such as sing on command, fly through hoops, retrieve objects, and even roller skate or ride a miniature bicycle.

They are often capable of doing these things because they have great memories and recall abilities. With positive reinforcement and by spending quality time dedicated to teaching them, they can pick up on how to do all sorts of cool tricks.

Check out this one’s adorable playtime routine and you’ll see how awesome they really can be, with or without training!

Each Time He Squeezes This Parrot’s Belly He Makes The Most Funniest Noise Ever

image via –

Out of all the different types and many thousands of species of birds in the world, none are as well known and popular as Parrots are. The lively birds have long captured the hearts and imaginations of people. Not only are they highly interactive and intelligent, they’re also full of personality, funny, socially engaging, and oftentimes beautifully colored. The lovable birds usually have more than one gift and Kanji, the pretty girl in this clip, happens to have the most unusually adorable talent!

Kanji is an African Grey parrot, which is widely considered to be thee most intelligent and smartest talking parrot in the world. They are known to mimic other animals and random sounds they hear as a way to trick predators and throw them off. Even though she lives in a home alongside her human family, whom she loves to talk and play with, she hasn’t lost her wild mimicry instincts.

Kanji’s unusual talent is that she makes a squeaky-toy-sound whenever her little belly is squeezed! To get her squeaking all that it takes is a gentle little poke, even just a pretend poke does the trick, and she doesn’t need to be prodded at all. You simply have to hear the adorable sound that she makes because no description can or ever will do it justice.

The fact that she’s making this particular noise means that she’s been exposed to it enough times to pick it up and mimic it perfectly. I may be wrong here but it’s safe to assume that Kanji is not the only animal in her household. There is probably another pet around, most likely a dog, who loves to play with squeaky toys and that would be where she picked up and learned the squeaky noise.

Above all else it’s vocal abilities like Kanji’s that parrots are best known for. Some species know how to say a couple of often repeated words, whereas others can learn 300-500+ and are able to speak in full sentences! In fact, the record holder for “the bird with the largest vocabulary in the world” was a Parakeet who lived in California named Puck.

He spoke an astounding 1,728 words and observers from the Guinness Book of World Records recorded each and every one of them. They officially bestowed the title on the handsome baby blue parrot back in 1995 and no other bird has yet to break his record.

Kanji may not hold a record but regardless of that, you can’t help but smile when you hear her squeak. She’s undeniably sweet and cute so be sure to check her out and share this awesome video with anyone who could use something positive and simply uplifting in their life!

Daddy Tells His Parrot He Has To Go To The Vet. The Parrot Proceeds To Throw a Hysterical Tantrum.

image via –

Not many animals really enjoy taking trips, much less one to the veterinarian’s office. Just like people hate visiting the doctor, our pets hate visiting the vet! Who can blame them, the smells and sights they encounter there are totally foreign and strange. There are other animals in close proximity which makes them even more nervous and the vibe that all this leads to is one of fear and anxiety.

Even though most vets are absolutely incredible and gentle with our pets it really doesn’t make much difference. Not to mention, many times when we bring our pets to the vet it is because they’re sick or injured and that makes them associate the place with pain and sadness. Basically if you have a pet who doesn’t mind going to the vet consider yourself blessed!

While many pets have no clue they’re headed to the vet, some animals have developed a 6th sense for it. They seem to instinctively know that they are about to go to the animal hospital and freak out before you can even get the leash on or stick them in the carrier! Cats will run and hide somewhere impossible to drag them out of, dogs will bark or cower in fear, and some birds will throw a hissy fit!

At least that’s what the cockatoo in this clip does. His name is Max and he is one the cutest, most hilarious birds you’ll ever see! When his owner breaks out his carrier to take him to the vet, Max runs under a shelf and hides in the darkest corner he can find. He’s a very vocal bird and gives his human companion a piece of his mind, letting him know exactly how he feels about the vet. The sound of his voice is strange, it’s almost like he’s possessed and it’s hard to make out what he’s saying.

When the camera shot changes, we can see Max has come out of his dark hole and is now under a bench. His owner is still trying to get him into his carrier and he’s still putting up a fight! His tone is the only thing that really changes, it’s much more clear and according to his owner he’s saying “What did I say” and “I don’t wanna.”

The angry little fella walks around with his chest all puffed out and he flaps his wings in protest. Even though he’s upset, it’s absolutely adorable! In the end, it’s in his best interests to go to the vet so they can make sure he’s all healthy and up to date on things. Max is certainly one angry little bird, check his antics out if you want to smile or laugh!

THIS Bird Flirts With His Lady. But When He Leans In and Says THIS I Can’t Stop Laughing!

Out of all the many different species of birds in the world, parrots are among the smartest, and they definitely shouldn’t ever be referred to as simple-minded “bird brains.” The clever, often colorful, birds have long captured the imaginations and hearts of people all over the world.

In addition to being fun and endearing companions, they’re also complex creatures who require a lot of attention, love, and training to truly thrive and be all that they can be.

JoJo, the beautiful green feathered parrot with a distinctive looking line circling her neck in this video, is proof of just how loving and affectionate parrots often are. The Indian Ringneck, a parrot subspecies, knows how to sweet talk her best friend and lover, Buddy. Buddy also has similarly colored green feathers but his plumage features more white, especially in his chest area.

In the video, originally uploaded by YouTuber birdsiviewnc, JoJo can be seen showering Buddy with kisses and tender words. She says things like “Whatcha doin’? Oh! Pretty! Gimme kiss? Peck, peck, peck…!” In response, Buddy shakes and ‘quakes.’

That is a natural and common behavior often displayed by Quaker parrots, which is the species of parrot Buddy happens to be. When they become excited or happy they get all aflutter and so it’s clear to see that Buddy is loving the attention JoJo is paying him.

It’s awesome to see them displaying mutual love and affection for one another, and it’s safe to say these parrots are a match made in bird heaven. While parrots are best known for their language and speaking abilities, they can usually be trained to do a number of other tricks.

Many have been successfully taught to fly through hoops, retrieve things, sing on command, and a few have even managed to roller skate or ride a bicycle! Part of why they are so intelligent is that they have incredible recall abilities and memories. When combined with positive reinforcement, dedication, and lots of time, they can learn all sorts of cool tricks.

With that in mind, JoJo has definitely been shown a lot of love by her human companions and picked up the expressions she knows, like “pretty, whatcha doin,’ gimme kiss,” from hearing them said to her repeatedly. In turn, she uses them to tell how Buddy how much she cherishes him.

Check out their parrot love and see how truly clever and awesome these birds really are!

Video: The Blue Parrot Sneaks Up Behind The Green Parrot. What The Bird Says? OMG!

image via –

You are about to watch the interaction of two fabulous brothers, Fabio and Gabriel, who are Indian Ringneck parrots.   IRNs have had a bad rap of being difficult to keep as pets, and not being affectionate with their owners.  Both of these stereotypes have proven to be false in many instances; parrots, like humans, are individuals with distinct and varying personalities.

While their affection toward their owners may vary, they are usually fabulous pets to have as a pair, as they require minimal attention as their affection and playfulness with each other (as you will see) is boundless!

These adorable brothers are incredible talkers, and like other ringnecks they began talking around 7 months of age; though both males and females talk, the males are more gifted in the speaking department.

While many parrots are capable of mimicking human speech, ringnecks have an intrinsic desire to learn!  How socialized they are with their owners will determine their interactions and character. Gabriel is Fabio’s older brother; as you will see in their HILARIOUSLY ENTERTAINING interactions with each other and their owner (who monitors Gabriel’s alpha male tendencies), these pals are never bored and have endless things to discuss and affection to express!

You literally will not believe what you are about to witness! Enjoy!
