Lovebirds are very small, friendly, warm, and caring types of parrots. That’s part of the reason why they have the word “love” in their name. The colorful birds also earned the name because they form longstanding relationships and break off into monogamous pairs.

They strengthen their affectionate bonds with their significant others by spending extensive amounts of time sitting alongside their lover. The smart, clever birds have long captured the imaginations and hearts of people all over the world. They’re often kept as pets and if treated properly they can form ultra close bonds with their human counterparts. When they really like you, they will nestle, cuddle, and even preen you!

The beautiful vibrant blue and white feathered lovebird in this video is proof of how energetic and fun loving the small parrots are. The black headed bird knows how to get down and boogey when the music gets turned up. The sprightly little fellow dances an Irish jig just as good, if not even better, than the professional River Dancers do!

He jumps up and down, kicks his tiny feet, and manages to pull off some sweet high step moves, all to an Irish tune. It’s awesome to see this bird’s energetic, hippity-hoppity display, and it’s safe to say this lovebird has one superb natural talent.

While parrots in general are best known for their speaking abilities, they can be trained to do a number of other tricks. Many are taught to fly through hoops, retrieve things, sing on command, and more.

They have great memories and recall abilities, and with positive reinforcement, time, and dedication, they can learn all sorts of cool tricks. Check out this one’s dance routine and you’ll see how awesome they really are!

This Parrot Discovers a Paper Towel Laying On The Ground. How He Reacts is HILARIOUS!

If you are a parent or have taken care of little children, you know that going out and buying tons of toys, simply isn’t necessary when they are quite young.  They can be kept occupied for hours with a pot and wooden spoon,  the cardboard tube left over from a paper towel, or the best is an empty cardboard box!  Kids are so imaginative and can become enthralled and creative with the simplest of objects.

Well, it seems that Parrots have this same childlike ability.  Perhaps the smartest species of birds that exist, Parrots’ abilities have captivated human beings interest for many years.  Particularly fascinating, is their ability to imitate human speech.   With a concerted effort at training, they seem to have boundless abilities at learning tricks, due to their outstanding memories and capacity for recall.

All this being said, in the video you are about to watch below, a parrot named Little Bird exhibits some moves that required no training at all.  We get to watch this adorable little guy enjoying the simple joys of playing… as creatively as a young child with a cardboard box.   Little Bird’s antics, with a simple piece of paper towel, is both hilarious and adorable.  First you will feel yourself smiling, before you start laughing out loud…I’ve watched this 4 times and just can’t stop GIGGLING even though I know what’s coming.  Watching Little Bird in action, could be the greatest antidepressant yet!  Honestly, he could take this little routine on the road…he gives a whole new meaning to the word CUTE and the phrase “Ahhhh the simple joys of life”!

Nobody Believed Her When She Described Her Parrot’s Afternoon Ritual. So She Caught THIS!

Parrots are among the most intelligent species of birds in the world and lots of them share a special bond with their human companions. The exotic, beautifully colored birds are quite clever and many are able to pick up words and expressions from simply being around their owners. Besides being fun and endearing companions, they’re also complex creatures who require a lot of love, attention, and training to be happy and truly thrive!

Marnie, the beautiful blue feathered parrot with a distinctive black line circling his neck in this video, is proof of just how loving and affectionate parrots often act. The blue Indian Ringneck, a parrot subspecies, knows a thing or two about how to sweet talk a lady and in this case it’s his owner and best friend. When he spots her across the room he flies right on over, lands on her shoulder, and politely asks “What are you doing?” before telling her “You’re so cute!”

The pair chat for a little and when his owner asks for a kiss he obliges and says “Thank you.” This may be the cutest conversation you’ll ever see as they go on to shower each other with tender words and a few more kisses! It’s clear that Marnie is loving the attention being paid to him and it’s always wonderful to see the mutual love and affection being shared between owners and their pets. These two are a match made in heaven!

According to his mom, there are a few other phrases Marnie knows in addition to “you’re so cute,” “what are you doing,” and “thank you.” He also says “peek-a-boo,” “whee!,” “bye-bye,” “that good?,” “quack quack,” and “yuck, yuck, yuck.” She says that he’s always been a lover from day one, and always asks for kisses, which is why she describes him as a “polite Casanova.”

Check him out! You can’t help but smile and fall in love with what an awesome, well-spoken, and polite parrot Marnie is!

He Wanted His Parrot To Talk. But He Never Expected It To Do THIS

Parrots are among the smartest species of birds in the world and are definitely not simple “bird brains.” The colorful and clever birds have captured the imaginations and hearts of people all over the world. When most people think of parrots the image that pops up in their mind is of one sitting on a pirate’s shoulder, maybe even sporting a matching eye patch.

While this popular image has endured throughout history and culture, it doesn’t do parrots any justice. They are so much more fun and complex than some old sea captain’s sidekick, and they require a lot of attention, love, and training to truly thrive and be all that they can be.

The beautiful orange, white, and green feathered parrot in this video is proof of how energetic and fun loving parrots are. The black headed Caique, a parrot subspecies, knows how to get down and boogey when the music gets turned up.

The sprightly little fellow dances an Irish jig just as good, if not even better, than the professional River Dancers do! He jumps up and down, kicks, and pulls off some sweet high stepping moves to an Irish tune called “Emerald.” It’s awesome to see this bird’s energetic, hippity-hoppity display, and it’s safe to say this parrot has one superb natural talent.

While parrots are best known for their speaking abilities, they can be trained to do a number of other tricks. Many are taught to fly through hoops, retrieve things, sing on command, and even roller skate or ride a bicycle!

They have great memories and recall abilities, and with positive reinforcement, time, and dedication, they can learn all sorts of cool tricks. Check out this one’s dance routine and you’ll see how awesome they really are!

THIS Parrot Wants To Go Out For His Walk But Dad Says No. His Surprise Revenge Is Hilarious!

We all love our pets, but bird owners have a really unique relationship with their fine-feathered friends.  Their back and forth is often hilarious to watch.  Because they can’t really be pet and they do mimic human voices and attitudes, the interactions between parrots and their owners as they banter is extremely interesting and sometimes befuddling!

Eric the parrot is a cranky guy on this particular day, that is captured in the video you are about to watch.  Apparently, he really wanted to go for a walk on the shoulder of his owner, but it’s not in the cards today due to the inclement weather.

What’s a bird to do?!  You will find out what mischief he gets into to entertain himself indoors.  He drives his “bird-mother” straight out of her mind, as he finds his revenge with a cup full of coins! This nutty little bird just won’t listen, I hope you enjoy this laugh out loud video as much as I did. “Eric no!” the clip starts, and continues during his ‘angry bird’ rebellion until the “scary fish” threat.

This is the best thing I have seen all week. Watch the video below and enjoy! Have you ever seen anything like this before?

They Gave THIS Parrot A Surprise Birthday Gift. His Response Is So Unexpectedly Priceless!

This is simply the most adorable video I’ve seen in a while!  We are all invited to Marnie, the parrot’s, fifth birthday, along with his other parrot friends, his human family and the family husky.  Let the presents begin!  Marnie is treated to new stuffed animals by his human family.

But the excitement doesn’t begin until his new stuffed bunny comes out of the gift bag.  He has a collection, but his reaction to this new bunny buddy shows how excited he is for this new friend.  He exclaims “You’re so cute!” and “Gimme a kiss!” Not sweet enough?

He goes on to ask “What ya doing” and keeps kissing it with complete adoration.  Even though parrots mimic what they hear, there is something so heartfelt about his reaction.  I watched this over and over; it just made me feel so good for Marnie’s wonderful life.

It’s so wonderful to see Marnie excited and filled with love.  What nice humans he has who care so much for him.  This sweet video made my day.
