British couple Mark Higgins and Becky Szenk had a beautiful baby girl, and made a decision to move closer to Mark’s place of work, having bought a new pub. Wanting to find a mover quickly, Becky went on Facebook, where she came across a company owned by a man named Lee Green.

After speaking with him, she was impressed, and set up a moving date for his men to pick up their belongings. On the moving day, Mark and Becky were further impressed with the movers’ efficiency; within 45 minutes the truck was packed and ready to go to their new home.

They told the men they couldn’t get over how quickly they had packed up; one of the movers explained that they had multiple jobs to get to that day. The couple were waiting at their new flat for the movers to arrive, when they began to be concerned.

An hour later when they hadn’t arrived they knew something was wrong…it was! Lee Green and his moving company did not exist. They turned out to be a Facebook moving scam, whose chief goal was to steal people’s money and belongings.

In under an hour Mark and Becky had paid for all their worldly goods to be stolen! They and their baby girl were left with absolutely nothing; not even a stitch of clothing. In the video you are about to watch below you will hear them interviewed about what happened.

They are desperately trying to put their lives back together, thankful for the donations of strangers. Their sentimental belongings can never be replaced, and they have learned a very painful, yet valuable lesson when it comes to the dangers of the internet, and the need to get references from people you know.

This Cake Doesn’t Just Sit There Looking Pretty. When It Starts Moving It’s The Most Unexpected Surprise!

All I can say is WOW!  What you are about to see is nothing short of amazing, both to watch and listen to.  It appears to be an animated cake with a crazy amount of action.  In fact, this visually awesome footage is not the result of animation.

What makes this appear to be moving is a device called Zoetropes.  They were used before actual animation came about in film making.  What you are watching in this footage is called a ‘zoetrope cake’.  A Zoetrope is made of a cylinder with slits cut into the sides.

Inside the cylinder are drawings that appear to move when the cylinder is spun. Much like flip books, that made it seem like you were seeing movement, the zoetrope drawings take on the animated feature.  When spun rapidly, it results in the little film you are about to enjoy.

Alexandre Dubosc has created this amazing imagery, with zoetrope cakes being his artistic focus.  His work is wildly imaginative and, I have to say, has got my sweet tooth going. Let us know what you think of this tasty piece of magical art!

This Guy Was Hiking In The Woods And Decided To Touch This Plant. The Result Has Him Screaming!

Strange things are happening in the Carolina woods!  Unexplainable forces are working their dark magic to manipulate and control life.  Video evidence documenting an eerie encounter with a creepy plant has been found and now you too can witness the freaky phenomenon. The spooky clip delves straight into the action, showing a plant bizarrely moving rapidly from side to side.

There is no clear reason as to why this particular plant is swaying.  Nothing nearby is showing signs of movement, the surrounding atmosphere is calm, and no wind can be detected.  It must be the work of unseen forces.  A man’s voice can be heard in the background proclaiming the freakishness of the situation.  He appears to find humor and wonderment in his chance encounter with the flora specimen.

Scientists have examined similar natural events where plants appear to sway on their own.  Results were reported in a 2001 American Journal of Botany study titled “Oscillation frequencies of tapered plant stems.”  It turns out that extremely weak winds amplify oscillations in the plant, thus making it look as if its moving for no reason.

These winds are undetectable by humans yet are enough force to cause the plant to sway to and fro on their long, skinny, tapered stems.  Scientists even analyzed the phenomenon with a complex equation that involved a lot of complicated jargon and information.  But others have posited that aliens, dark magic or ghosts are truly what is behind it.  What do you think?  Check out the video, analyze it, and make your own conclusion!
