What Is Your Strongest Chakra?

image via – shutterstock.com

Your strongest chakra is the one that gives you the most direct connection to universal life force energy. When you are asleep at night it is this chakra that plugs you into the cosmos, helping you to renew and recharge for your next day. When you’re awake your alpha chakra gives you power, guiding you along the way. Chakra, root word wheel, is understood as a spinning conical energy center in the body. Traditionally, there are innumerable chakras but modernization of the term typically refers to the seven largest chakras along the spine. Each chakra has corresponding traits like colors, odors, crystals, sounds, behaviors, and more.

The correlation between the chakras and these parts of sensation is that they are said to vibrate at the same frequencies, thus allowing for alignment of rogue energies.

The energy centers, or wheels of light, can be opened and closed. When they are open they spin fast and free, allowing smooth interactions and grace. When the chakras get blocked, or closed, life feels rigid and frustrating.

Close your eyes and bring your awareness to the base of your spine, the bottom of your tailbone. Imagine the color red and let the hue fill your body. Does this color come naturally to you or does your mind feel forced to find it?

If the color is plentiful and vibrant, you have a well functioning root chakra and are probably pretty grounded in your life. If you struggle to see the color red, chances are your base chakra is inhibited and you tend to be scattered or restless.

You can continue this test by moving up your spine and successively visualizing the colors of the rainbow. At the pelvic region identify orange. Above the navel observe yellow. In the center of the chest bone you should easily recall green.

At your throat, a brilliant blue. Between your eyes observe the color purple. And at the very top of your head, behold the color of all colors, white. Notice how easily each color comes to you and if there is enough of it to fill your torso, limbs and head.

Any of the chakras that are blocked can be cleared by either spending more time visualizing it, or using an external object, such as an instrument, a scented oil, or a corresponding gemstone.

She Is Doing Yoga When An Unexpected Visitor Shows Up. When He Shows Up I Can’t Stop Laughing!

Cats are naturals at yoga. They can flex and contort their furry little bodies into the craziest positions without even thinking about it and while purring in delight. It seems like every time one switches positions or gets up from a nap they have to yawn and do a big stretch, before flopping back over into another yoga-like pose to resume their sleep.

It often seems like kitties bodies were built for stretching and that’s why they are among the top performers of yoga on the planet. Humans have a lot of catching up to do if they want to be able to keep up with fluffy in the yoga department. One woman was doing just that and decided to film herself practicing her technique.

She laid down her mat, positioned the camera directly at it, and got straight to work. Her first pose was a headstand and she can be seen slowly toe climbing her way into an arch and bringing her feet up over head until they’re extended straight above her. Right as the woman is beginning to arch her spine more and extend her legs further back, we lose sight of her.

That’s because a big, orange, cat makes himself comfortable right in front of the camera lens! His adorable face is priceless and his expression says it all. He is clearly unimpressed by his lady friend’s yoga skills, no matter how well balanced she may be. The kitty looks bored with the whole scene and slowly closes his eyes as he prepares for his nap.

The orange cat clearly wanted some camera time and must know that he is the one with real star power, because the internet is loving his video appearance. Perhaps this woman should bring her feline friend to a cat yoga class. Some studios offer classes where humans and cats can get their stretch on.

There are even specific poses and maneuvers that have been specially developed for cats. Instead of tripping over the poor cat while switching poses you can instead incorporate kitty into a session, and you will both be happier and healthier from it. After all, a yogi kitty can teach us mere mortals a lot about stretching, so why not partner up with your cat!

Which One Of Your Chakras Needs Strengthening?

image via – shutterstock.com

The word ‘chakra’ is defined in modern terms by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary as “any of several points of physical or spiritual energy in the human body according to yoga philosophy.” It follows that there are 7 main chakras which are present throughout our bodies.

Each one is an energy center that acts as a pump, or valve, by regulating and controlling the flow of energy throughout our energy systems. This idea relates directly back to the ancient meaning of the word “chakra,” which in Sanskrit terminology means “wheel” or “turning.”

When the modern meaning is merged with the ancient one, the more commonly held thought on what chakras are emerges, which is when they are viewed or imagined as whirlpools of flowing energy. Each chakra is located in a specific area of the body and is associated with different meanings, traits, feelings, colors, gem stones, abilities, and more. The 1st chakra, or the root chakra, is red and located at the base of the spine.

It’s also known as the Kundalini energy chakra and is associated with instinct, security, and survival, as it helps to stabilize and ground us. The 7th chakra is located at the top crown part of your head and it’s violet in color. This is where our spiritual connection, oneness, knowing, and understanding resides.

The other five chakras are all in between these two and include the third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, and the abdomen. Each one of us has a chakra that’s stronger and more influential on our lives than the rest. The opposite is also true and we inevitably have a chakra which is our weakest.

On comparison to the others, that one is the least influential on our feelings, behaviors, thoughts, and overall lives. Based on the choices you make, what appeals most to you, how you view situations, and your general thought process, you can figure out which one you’re least connected to at this moment in your life.

Over time, your weakest chakra may change as you grow and become more aware or affected by different things on your life’s path. Find out which one of the 7 main chakras is the weakest and least dominant in your life, and as always, have fun and enjoy!
