This Guy Always Pours H2O On His Propane Tank Before He Starts Cooking. The Reason Is Brilliant
Nothing tastes quite as delicious as food barbecued on the grill in the summertime, it just hits the spot. Everything from meat to corn on the cob and every other veggie under the sun takes on a whole new dimension of flavor when barbecued to perfection.
There’s also nothing worse than finding out that you’re low or close to running out of gas right when you’re about to start grilling! It happens, usually at the most inopportune times, especially if your propane tank doesn’t have a gauge on it. However, rather than abandon your BBQ plans you can try this neat little trick from America’s Test Kitchen to measure exactly how much propane is left in the tank. That way, you won’t ever run out of gas unexpectedly ever again.
First, boil up a pot of water and bring it outside to where your propane tank is located. Carefully pour the hot water all around the tank and down every side, making sure that the entire thing is covered. Next, feel around the tank with your hand and test areas to see if they are warm or cool. Warm spots indicate that the tank was heated up by the water because with no gas to cool it down, there’s no propane at that level. Cool spots indicate the opposite. Where the tank is cooler to the touch is the level the propane is at. That’s because the liquid in the tank is absorbing all the heat, leaving the surface cool to the touch.
So the next time you are unsure about how much propane is left in your grill’s tank simply unleash your inner MacGyver, boil up a pot of water, and drip it down and around the tank. Daddy Tells His Huge Great Dane He Can’t Have His Sandwich. The Big Baby Proceeds To Throw a Hysterical Tantrum.
In this hysterical video, Dinky the Great Dane throws a tantrum because his daddy, Ron, won’t give up his egg sandwich. It looks so delicious, and Dinky loves eggs so much. He doesn’t hold anything back as he lets his dad know just how he feels about the situation! In response, dad uses logics, “you didn’t even eat your own food, why do you want mine?” to which Dinky repeatedly replies, “I love you!” It is a respectable and exceptionally effective move.
The situation eventually becomes too much for his brother, Romeo, who jumps up and performs a perfect sad puppy routine that no human, no matter how strong, would be able to resist. In a feat of indelible persistence, Dinky and Romeo finally manage to break down dad’s defenses and manage to get a little piece of that sweet egg sandwich action. The real winner in this story is their little brother Peanut!
While his brothers were losing their minds over the dire situation, he played it cool and let them do all the work. He made sure to stay close by, however, so that when the inevitable payout commenced, he would get his fair share. Whereas Dinky got paid for his incredible vocal skills, and Romeo for his amazing sad eye performance, Peanut garners his wages through sheer conniving intelligence. Well played, Peanut, well played.

He Spots a Strange Shape Forming In The Clouds Looks Left and But Things Get Terrifying!
Every year hundreds of tornadoes form in the skies above Earth. The rapidly rotating columns of air tunnel down from the clouds, twisting and turning as they travel across the ground. The extreme weather events can turn out to be phenomenally destructive, blowing away whatever stands in their way, and stronger rated twisters are sometimes even fatal.
While tornadoes have been documented on every continent and can occur practically anywhere, North America boasts the most on average with the United States coming in at number one. The area south of the US-Mexico border is also where strong twisters commonly form and the Mexican state of Chihuahua is no stranger to tornado danger. That is where the accompanying clip was filmed and the dramatic footage that the person behind the camera managed to capture is unbelievably terrifying to watch.
Digital newspaper La Opción de Chihuahua posted the incredible video online which shows a man filming a strange looking cloud formation in the sky above. The dark clouds swirl around quickly in a spiral motion as a funnel begins to emerge from the center of it all. In a matter of mere seconds a tornado touches down on the ground off to his left and as he pans over you can see just how close it actually is. Check it out and see for yourself how crazy this is! If you were the person filming, how scared would you be?!
The guy was so entranced by the dramatic scene above him that he either forgot about, or overlooked, how dangerous a situation he was in. Instead of filming the unbelievable sight he should have run for shelter and taken cover somewhere safer than out in the open. Experts recommend that everyone under a tornado warning should immediately go to the lowest level of their house or whatever building they’re in.
Windowless rooms are the best because most injuries caused by tornadoes are from flying debris and so basements, storm cellars, bathrooms, and closets are often the safest places. In addition, it’s advised that you protect your head and can do that by either getting underneath a heavy piece of furniture or wrapping your arms around your head and neck.
In the end, this short clip shows a scene that is truly a testament to mother nature’s absolute power; it’s insane, dangerous, crazy, beautiful, and terrifying all at once. The events unfold so quickly that it’s easy to see why the man filming didn’t even notice the tornado barreling down towards him. Hopefully he got away and was safe!

Here we are in the heat of summer in many parts of the world, trying to stay cool and comfortable. Sandals have been the answer for hundreds, if not thousands of years…but they have evolved in modern times.
“Flip flops” have been around for many years, as well as the infamous “Crocs” that became the summer “go-to” more recently. For quite some time, the medical profession has warned about the dangers of flip flops, for the very reason people love them…ease of putting them on and slipping them off. They have now issued a serious safety warning about wearing Crocs as well, as an all day replacement for shoes.
When Crocs were introduced to the public, the company promoted them as not only comfortable, but actually possessing benefits for the feet that were therapeutic. They made these claims without any research to back them up. The problem lies in wearing these footwear all day, according to podiatrist Dr. Tom Beasley, because without containing a shank they provide no support for the foot. For children, who are still growing, the instability of Crocs can cause bone deformities and splayed feet. As children grow, so do their bones and tendons in their feet, requiring footwear that is supportive.
As you will hear in the VIDEO you are about to watch below, Crocs can pose the safety hazard of getting caught on ESCALATORS, causing serious injuries. There have been multiple reports of such injuries, resulting in law suits against the Crocs company. Unstable shoes like Crocs and flip flops have been known to get caught on gas pedals and brakes in cars as well, resulting in automobile accidents. Raven Strangely Squawked At Them For 60 Minutes. Finally They Figured Out He Was Desperate For Help
Ravens are often overlooked and dismissed by many people for being noisy, annoying, pesky birds. They really don’t get the credit they truly deserve for being one of the most intelligent animals out there. In fact, they rank among the smartest animals in all of nature and are considered just as smart as our closest animal relative, chimpanzees.
Research backs this up, ravens have been scientifically tested and scored highly on intelligence tests where they even topped the avian IQ scale! Ravens have also been observed using various objects as tools. That type of calculated behavior is something associated only with intelligent animals, like the raven in this heart warming video!
The story behind what you see here all started when a woman from Nova Scotia heard a loud racket outside her home. Gertie Cleary couldn’t help but notice who was making the noise, a black raven fledgling was perched on the fence relentlessly screeching. She tried to ignore it but when the squawking didn’t subside she went out to take an up-close look at the bird.
With her daughter by her side, the pair slowly approached the distressed raven. Once they were close they saw what bothering it, the poor bird had porcupine quills stuck in his little body, three in the side of his face and one in his wing. If he was going to survive the quills had to be removed.
Gertie went back to the house, put on some gloves for protection, and headed back out to the raven. Slowly she began to earn his trust until she was able to softly stoke his feathers. Soon after she made her move and quickly pulled a quill out of the bird. Seconds later she pulled another one which caused the raven to caw out in pain. Even so, the bird remained on the fence and didn’t threaten her, it seemed to sense she was helping and meant it no harm. The last quill was the hardest, by that point the bird likely had enough, but with a bit more coaxing Gertie was able to quickly remove it.
The poor raven’s painful experience was over, he was free to fly away without being hindered by the sharp barbs poking into his body, yet he stuck around for the remainder of the day. Gertie and her daughter ended up naming him Wilfred but the next day he was gone.
The incredibly quick witted bird seemed to know exactly where to turn to for help and thankfully Gertie recognized his situation and took the time to remove the quills.

With this tutorial, making your own arm candy can be extremely low cost, easy, and fun to do.
YouTuber Katrina Sherwood posted the creative method that she uses to make unique and inventive plastic bracelets on her blog “Katrinaosity.” The project is a hands-on way to re-use and recycle old plastic toothbrushes into trendy, colorful, 80s style bracelets, so you won’t waste or need to buy anything.
Even if you don’t have any old plastic toothbrushes laying around, they can easily be found at the store for well under five dollars. You can make lots of these and if you mess up it doesn’t matter, just keep going until you make the perfect accessory!
To create your very own bracelets you will need some plastic toothbrushes (the cheap kind work fine), needle nose pliers, a towel and oven mitts, heat resistant tongs, and a pot of hot water. To begin, start by first heating up the pot of water on the stove until it boils.
In the meantime, take the needle nose pliers and use them to rip out all of the bristles from the toothbrush heads. Once the bristles have been completely removed, place one toothbrush at a time in the boiling water for about 10 seconds or so. Using the heat resistant tongs, carefully remove the toothbrush and check to see how pliable it is with a towel or oven mitt protecting your hand.
If it bends enough to be folded into a bracelet shape that will fit around your wrist, it’s done. If it doesn’t, simply place it back in the boiling water for another 10 seconds or so, until it’s flexible enough to bend. The plastic will cool off quickly so you may have to re-boil it a few times until you get the toothbrush to bend into a wearable, desired shape.

There is nothing more annoying than going to the other side of your house, and losing your WiFi connection, or having to constantly reboot your device every time you get further away from your router. I, personally, have been really irritated with this occurrence after spending money on a supposed WiFi booster.
There is still some mystique around the workings of a WiFi signal, despite the fact that it works exactly the same way that our cell phones and TV do…through radio waves. The video you are about to watch below is one of the coolest and most useful DIYs I’ve come across to date!
Not only does it explain in an easy to digest way, how information from the internet gets converted into a radio signal that allows us to access it on our devices, but provides a HACK to boost your WiFi with ZERO COST!
All you will need, for this easy-to-follow tutorial, is 1 or 2 empty beer or soda cans, a scissor or knife and some sticky “blue tack”. I’m not the handiest person in the world, and this was actually simple to do!! Best of all, after placing this over the antennas of my router, VOILA!
The signal away from the router was amplified so well, that all my devices get the same strength of WiFi connection, no matter where I am in my house!
