Kane the French Mastiff may look like an incredibly powerful and aggressive dog, but he’s really just a gentle, protective giant! He’s a natural when it comes to being a guard dog and this clip is proof of not only that, it shows just how adorable and handsome he also is.
The big boy happened to come across a mirror and lets just say he didn’t like what he saw. That’s because he caught sight of the reflection of himself in the glass, a sight which sent him straight into beast mode!
As soon as he was alerted to the supposed intruder, Kane growled and stared himself down with the most fierce, unrelenting gaze he could muster. His low menacing growl would make anyone think twice about taking another step and he even threw in that weird licking behavior that dogs seem to always do when they get super angry! 5 Reasons Why You Should Throw Out Your Loofah or Shower Pouf Immediately

Do you use a loofah or shower pouf when you bathe and clean yourself? If you answered yes, then you may want to throw it out as soon as possible!
Scientists have now confirmed what many of us already knew, or at least sensed, about the popular shower accessories; they’re filled with all sorts of nasty germs. A recent study published in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology found that mesh sponges and loofahs are the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Most of us leave them in the shower after each use and so they end up sitting in the damp, warm bathroom, an area of our house which is already filled with a wide variety of gross germs.
In addition to that, all of the tiny holes, netting, and folds in loofahs and poufs act to help trap dead skin cells, mold, bacteria, yeast, germs, dirt, grime, and more within them. In a moist environment, which the shower is, all of this bacteria thrives and multiplies quickly. In particular, yeast and mold seem to be able to grow rapidly in shower poufs. When it comes time to use them, you end up rubbing and smearing all that disgusting stuff all over your body instead of cleaning yourself. You don’t even need to think about it to understand how truly gross that is!
In order to minimize your exposure to all of the above and to cut down on the associated risk of a possible skin infection, it’s recommended that you replace loofahs and shower poufs every three weeks. This way any mold or germs trapped in it won’t have long to grow and spread. The bottom line is the longer you wait to replace it, the more infested and dirty it will become.

How To Watch Tonight’s Incredible Draconid Meteor Showers

Look up at the sky tonight because the Draconid meteor shower will be lighting it up and putting on a beautiful show. The annual shower reaches its peak tonight, October 8th, and while it usually only produces a few meteors per hour, its also been known to unexpectedly feature hundreds at a time!
Unlike the majority of meteor showers which are best viewed in the early morning hours following midnight, the Draconids get started much earlier. They can be seen the best during the early evening hours tonight. If you live in the Northern hemisphere then as darkness falls look up towards the extreme Northern portion of the sky because that is where they will be streaking from.
Specifically, the Draconid meteor shower comes from the northern constellation that’s known as Draco the Dragon. While many of us don’t know where or how to find constellations in the sky, you can easily fix this issue by downloading an app for your phone which will tell you exactly where it is in the sky (I use one called “Star Walk” and it works excellent).
Pick a nice open spot away from any lights. The general rule is the darker the skies, the better the viewing. The weather conditions will also affect your viewing so check the local forecast, but as long as the sky is clear you should be able to see them!
All in all, tonight’s meteor shower presents the perfect opportunity for you to get outside and do some peaceful sky-gazing. Get some fresh fall air, make new memories, and gather up your friends, family, pets, and loved ones for a relaxing evening under the stars. It’s not too late yet!

This Smart Pup Refuses To Eat Treats From Only One Person In The Whole World For A Hysterical Reason

Any dog owner knows that practically every dog alive cannot resist a tasty treat. Bones, jerky, and biscuits are basically canine candy and dogs will hungrily scarf the yummy snacks right on up.
However, there are a few things that stand in the way between a dog and his treats. One such thing happens to be the person who is giving them the treat, and in this case, the person whom the dog thinks is handing them out!
When the Australian Shepherd is offered a treat that his owner says is from mommy, grandpa, grandma, and even Uncle Troy, he readily accepts them. That all changes when he is told that the treat is from the dog catcher. When he hears that, the smart dog absolutely refuses to eat, sniff, or make an attempt to accept the treat. While it’s unclear as to why, he apparently really despises the dog catcher and won’t fall for any tricks or treats from anyone linked to the job or name. His trust and loyalty lies solely within his family and that’s his bottom line!

Joggers Notice a Clown On The Path At 7:30am. They Call Him Out, Then He Runs At Them With a Knife.

If being in the presence of a clown, or even the mere sight of one, fills you with feelings of dread, anger, fear, nausea, hysteria, or sickness, then you may suffer from Coulrophobia. That is the common term used to describe the blind, immense, and highly specific fear of clowns.
It has often been thought that the reason why some people absolutely hate clowns is because of their comical, albeit borderline monstrous, facial and bodily features. The highly exaggerated, drawn on expressions are unchanging and make it extremely difficult to get a read on the person behind the mask. Many clowns also sport huge hands, feet, noses, or mid-sections, which make them appear highly unusual and in some cases it’s almost as if they look partially deformed.
Whatever the reason may truly boil down to, clowns can be downright creepy and disturbing. Which makes the current trend of clown attacks that are sweeping the nation particularly disconcerting. It seems that every other day a new clown sighting pops up in the headlines. Everywhere from New Jersey to Texas, Idaho, Arizona, and beyond has been affected by the alarming rise in clown-related criminal activity. It all appears to have began a little over one month ago, back on August 29th, when reports first surfaced in South Carolina about a person dressed as a clown who was attempting to lure young children into the woods near an apartment complex. In the short span of time since then, clown sightings have skyrocketed and they have people everywhere on edge.
Much of the concern surrounding the recent wave of clown sightings has to do with what the clowns are reportedly doing. Their behavior isn’t passive or positive in any sort of way. Instead, many people claim to have been chased, attacked, and threatened by the clowns they’ve encountered. In some instances clowns have tried to lure or entice little kids away with them and some have even been armed with knives, guns, and in one case, a machete.
The anti-social clown behavior seems to be escalating as well and this recent video of a clown sighting captured by joggers in Newark, Ohio is chilling proof of just how scary a real-life run in with a creepy clown can be.
The two men, Chase Prior and Patrick Williams, had gone for a run at around 7:30am when they spotted a man dressed as a clown wandering down the trail up ahead of them. When they caught up the the clown he was about midway across a wooden bridge, with his back turned to them. They decided to confront the lone clown and called out “Yo what the f*%$ are you doing man? It’s 7:30 in the morning, have you heard about all this s*#%? People are freaking out about this.”
The clown turned to face them, said nothing in response, and started to walk briskly towards the two friends. That’s when they spotted a knife and decided to take off running, but the clown gave chase and ran right after them! The rest of the footage is mainly of the ground and blurry but when the camera does pan back it appears as if the clown may actually be gaining ground on them.
It’s incredibly freaky and no wonder Mr. Prior, who posted it on Facebook, called the whole thing “absolutely terrifying, joke or not. We didn’t stick around to find out.” After watching the clip, you can’t knock him and his friend for running away as fast as they possibly could!
All in all, it’s best to steer clear of any clowns you may happen to see at odd hours of the day, especially if they are in the middle of nowhere and armed with a weapon.

Her Underwear Kept Going Missing. So She Set Up a Camera and Caught The Thief In Action.

There’s nothing as mischievous and sneaky as a cat that’s feeling a little bored and up to no good! Our furry feline friends can end up getting into to all sorts of trouble when they start sticking their pink noses in places they don’t belong. It’s all part of their curious nature and many a cat cannot resist the urge to inspect anything and everything they happen to come across.
For some kitties, their interest ends up turning them into little thief’s! Such is the case with the cat burglar in this adorable video. According to the cat’s owner, a strange thing was happening in their house. His wife’s underwear had suddenly been appearing all over the floor lately, left haphazardly and strewn about, and neither he nor his wife could figure out who had done such a thing!
Finding your undergarments spread about the house would naturally leave anyone feeling a bit worried about the whole situation, which is why they decided to do a little investigating. That’s when they captured their fluffy gray cat sniffing around a bottom drawer, which just so happened to be the underwear drawer!
The sneaky little fella took his sweet time casing the scene, yet he was so focused on the prize in front of him that he failed to notice his owners watching. Once he zeroed in on a bright pink pair of undies he set to work extracting them from the tiny pull hole in the drawer. He gingerly reached a paw in and fished around for them until he finally snagged it with his claw and pulled them out. That’s when playtime begins and the cheeky cat goes to town, happily chewing away on the underwear tags.
Seconds later, the kitty finally notices that he’s being watched and looks right up at the camera with the guiltiest expression on his face! He knows he got caught red handed, but at least now his owners can rest assured knowing that the underwear thief is just their cat. At the end of the day, it’s a cat’s world and we all just live in it!

The Farmer’s Almanac Just Revealed Their Predictions For Winter 2016

For the past 225 years The Old Farmer’s Almanac has been providing a wealth of information on important seasonal changes which extends far beyond the weather predictions that the publication is most-known for. There’s gardening tips, recipes, information on astronomy, anecdotes, and a number of other predictions for the year ahead, like ones on fashion and technology, included in the almanac.
Regardless of all the extras it has to offer, the upcoming weather forecasts are what people want to read about the most and that’s what the publication owes its immense success to. Year after year, like clockwork, the newest edition of the almanac is released on the second Tuesday of each September. It’s out in stores now and if you haven’t read or heard about the predictions included in it yet for this winter, then read on for what’s in store for your part of the country.
Here’s what the 2017 edition of The Old Farmer’s Almanac has forecast for this upcoming winter season:
*The regions below cover general areas of the country that encompass large swaths of land. For detailed forecasts of even more specific areas you will have to consult the almanac for more information on the temperatures, precipitation, and snowfall rates expected there.
Overall: While temperatures will be above the normal average, they will still be cooler as compared to last winter. Snowfall will be heavy in the Northern part of the country but elsewhere is expected to be below the normal averages.
Northeast: Colder than average temperatures, precipitation above average. Southern New England, Western New York, and the Appalachian region are all expected to experience higher than normal snowfall.
Southeast: Mild, warmer temperature, above-average precipitation is expected in but this is will mainly be in only Florida.
Midwest: Colder than average temperatures, precipitation above average. From points west of and including North Dakota, snowfall rates are expected to be above the average normal rates.
Heartland: Colder, below average temperatures across much of the plains and region, average to below-average precipitation. However, there is expected to be above average snowfall from the eastern part of Minnesota over to Michigan and downwards to Missouri.
Southwest: Temperatures will be above average, precipitation is forecast to be below average.
West: Most of California will have continue to experience below average precipitation with the exception being Northern California, which is expected to experience normal to above-average precipitation.
Pacific Northwest: Cooler temperatures, precipitation above average.

Grandma Learns The Hard Way Why You Should Never Tap The Glass Of A Shark Tank

Some families love pulling pranks on one another and relatives will oftentimes go to elaborate lengths to fool someone into falling for their tricks! However, the best type of prank to pull off is one that is simple, easy, and yet totally effective. The one featured in this video fits that bill.
The chosen victim for the family shenanigans happens to be grandma this time around. She was accompanying her children and grandchildren to the International Spy Museum in Washington D.C. for the day when one of them set her up!
It seems that grandma was already onto the pranksters when she asked them aloud “Are you trying to scare me?” At this point in time she had just entered the museum’s neat shark tank exhibit room and one of her relatives was telling her to touch the aquarium’s glass window. So grandma gingerly reached out and touched the tank, but nothing happened! After tapping it again, still nothing.
When she looks back towards the camera she appears confused, nothing is happening and she’s not sure what to make of it all. That’s when she decides to move in for a closer look at the fish tank window, and then BAM!! A humongous, terrifying looking Great White Shark zooms into view and heads straight towards grandma. It smashes headfirst into the glass, shattering it into a spiderweb of a thousand pieces, as she recoils backwards in terror. The shock of it all causes the poor woman to lose her footing and she ends up on the floor across the room!
In the background you can hear her family laughing aloud that they finally got her good. The moment grandma realizes that it’s all fake and she was set up, she laughs and cries out “you scared the c#*p out of me!!” What a good sport, she really has an awesome sense of humor about the whole entire situation. That’s what makes this prank one of the better ones out there, everyone involved had fun with it all!
Looks like grandma got punk’d, but the rest of her family better watch themselves because it’s only a matter of time before she gets them back!
