Being ENSLAVED and unable to move by being CHAINED is anyone’s worst nightmare. The freedom to move and enjoy nature and choice, is no different for animals than it is for human beings. It is beyond my comprehension that human beings have the capacity to perpetrate unspeakable cruelty to each other and to the animal kingdom.
This is the story of Biscuit, a beautiful Husky, who was found chained next to his dead brother who froze to death due to neglect. Thankfully, Biscuit was found before his life came to such a tragic ending. Dogs who have been chained their whole lives can have tremendous difficulty adjusting to freedom. Building trust with humans comes slowly, and must be done gradually.
Biscuit was rescued from a piece of property owned by the professional football player Michael Vick, who would fight the dogs to make money. Thankfully, his horrendous actions were discovered and stopped, and this open natural space is now being put to good use. Rehabilitation by “Good Newz Rehab for Chained and Penned Dogs”, is helping dogs like Biscuit to learn to trust again, be socialized, and live out their lives in freedom. If you see a man with one of his nails polished, it isn’t some trendy new style. Rather, it has deep significance that is raising awareness and money, to battle sexual violence committed against children. The one out of five polished nails which men are encouraged to do for a week at a time, is symbolic of the 1 in 5 children who will be victimized by sex crimes in the course of their lives.
This idea came to YGAP’S Elliot Costello, who came to Cambodia from his native Australia with Hagar International. It was there, that his life was changed forever, after he met a little girl named Thea. She trusted him enough to confide her dark and disturbing secret of the sexual abuse she had endured by a man, from age 8 to 10. As they spoke she asked if she could polish his nails; after doing so he swore to her that he would always keep one of his nails polished to honor and remember her.
Elliot learned that 96% of sexual violence against children are perpetrated by men, which gave birth to a movement he established, called Polished Man. His goal was to get men to not only spread the word and become activists against childhood sexual violence, but to raise awareness and begin the conversation with the one polished nail. His hope was to counteract male sexual violence with positive male role models who would fight for children’s rights, raise money to help survivors, and create a community led by men to change and challenge “violent behavior and language, both locally and globally.”

Adorable Puppy Thinks His Human Is Crying, So To Make Him Feel Better He Throws a Hysterical Fit
Dogs seem to understand humans and connect with us on a deeper, more complex level than all other animals are able to. They can sense our feelings or whatever emotions we may be going through and often respond to them in some sort of adorable way.
Oftentimes when you cry around a dog they’ll wag their tails, lick your hand sheepishly, nuzzle you, or cry along with you in order to try and cheer you up. Dogs are simply always there for you no matter what, and just like how we want the best for them, they want the best for us. That’s what seems to be the case with this adorable black lab/pit bull puppy in the accompanying video.
Redditor dEdzilla shared a short and totally sweet clip of his puppy dog crying and you can’t help but fall in love with the little guy! The pair were relaxing at home and appeared to be quite cozy and all snuggled up together in bed. While his puppy was napping, dEdzilla was surfing the web and watching videos on his iPad.
When he came across a short clip titled “Best Cry Ever,” which features a man crying out in anguish on the A&E show Intervention, his puppy suddenly woke up. Alerted to the poor man’s pain, the sweet little guy starting howling and crying along with him!! It’s like the dog was commiserating with the man or trying to ease his pain and suffering, and it all goes to show that dogs really are man’s best friend.

Rare Black Moon Rising In Scorpio: Prepare For a Huge Energy Shift On September 30, 2016
A special and rare lunar event will be taking place this weekend and right along with it a major shift will also be occurring. On Friday night, September 30th, a new moon will rise in the sky, the second one to fall in September as the last one occurred back on the first of the month. Lion Stumbles Out Of The Grass, Sees The Camera and Tries To Scare It With The Funniest Sound.
Coming face to face with a wild lion is a breathtaking and rare occurrence. The second largest big cat species in the world can be very elusive when they’re off in the wild. They usually choose to avoid human contact and stick close to other members of their own pride. At least that’s true of older, fully wild, and grown adult cats who roam large territories hunting in search for food.
For young little cubs, it’s a whole different story. Like all newborn babies, lion cubs are very inquisitive and less afraid of both people and other animals. They haven’t yet developed a healthy fear of the things that could potentially harm them and they like to check things out because everything is new to them.
That’s what the tiny little fella in this video appears to be doing. He pops out of the tall grass and waddles adorably right up the pathway while making faint meowing noises. He isn’t afraid of the camera in front of him as he raises his head to face it and opens his mouth wide to let a huge roar out! The only thing is, he’s still way too young to let a fierce, loud, ferocious sounding roar rip. Instead a tiny little pip-squeak comes out!!
Sounds like this little cutie has a lot of growing up to do. When he’s eventually full grown that roar will have developed into a tremendous vocal call that can travel and be heard up to five miles away. That’s pretty impressive, but definitely not nearly as adorable and sweet as the noises this cub makes. Check out the clip because he’s by far the cutest thing you’re likely see all day.

He Tells His Adorable Puppy He’s Handsome. The Puppy Proceeds To Throw a Hysterical Tantrum.
Pet owners know how unbelievably sweet and adorable their little fur babies can be. The one thing that can possibly make them even cuter than they already naturally are is by dressing them up. I’m not talking about putting costumes on pets, which many people choose to do, but rather functional clothing and accessories instead. Lots of little animals need the extra warmth and protection that a sweater, scarf, coat, or booties can provide.
There’s definitely something magical about a sharply accessorized puppy, they can make anyone feel instantly happy. This short clip is proof of that, just watch it and you’ll feel awesome inside! It features a man and his dog and it does a wonderful job perfectly capturing the love that animals and people mutually share for each other.
The backstory to this video is that the tiny white French Bulldog puppy had just been gifted a brand-new, super cool, red bandanna from his daddy. The little fella was clearly happy about the present because when his dad tied it loosely around his neck and asked him how he liked it, the adorable Frenchie responded with a quick “Arrff!” Seconds later dad tells him how handsome he looks, but this time the puppy responds by gently biting and nipping the back of his owner’s neck and showering him with sloppy kisses. As dad continues on praising his dog’s new look, the puppy seems to be getting a bit taken aback by all the kind words!
These two are so relaxed and comfy in each others company, it’s just nice and uplifting to see. You can really feel the positive energy and love between them. It’s the special moments like these that make life so much more enjoyable and better, nothing beats them. After spending a few minutes with a soft, loving pet all of your worries and problems seem to just disappear!

The Equinox On The Cusp Of Virgo/Libra: Prepare For a Huge Energy Shift On September 22, 2016
Mid-September always comes with a variety of different changes. As summer winds down the weather starts to get cool and crisp and the leaves begin to change color, leaving the feeling of fall hanging the air. This year all of the many September changes will be brought to a head on Thursday, September 22, when the autumnal equinox arrives and fall officially begins.
It is set to take place at precisely 10:21 AM (EDT) and will happen simultaneously all around the world. So no matter what time zone you are in, at that exact moment the autumnal equinox will occur as the sun crosses over the celestial equator, which is to say the equator you’re familiar with! For all the wordsmiths out there, the word equinox is derived from the Latin terms aequus (equal) and nox (night) and therefore means equal night. As the word itself implies, the equinox is when day and night are equal, and the hours of lightness and darkness will last for the same amount of time.
The autumnal equinox will bring about a number of changes and an energy shift will also be occurring right along with it. While many people will not even be aware that it has happened, they will definitely end up feeling the impact and effects of it in some type of way. That’s partly because the autumnal equinox falls right on the cusp of Virgo, as it’s about to end and change over into Libra the very next day. As such, this means the timing is ideal for us to center in on ourselves and do some serious soul searching. It’s a time to find balance and to free ourselves of all our fears, stress, worries, and anything else that may be holding us back. Finding the right balance in the areas of our lives where we need it most will be highlighted with the seasonal changeover.
