She Realized That She Was Getting Chicken Skin On Her Arms. I Had No Idea This Is The Reason Why!

image via – youtube.com

If you have tiny, hard, whitish-red bumps that appear on the back of your arms, then you likely have chicken skin. It sounds a lot worse than what it actually is and the bumps are harmless. For most people, the worst part about having them is their appearance since they pop up randomly and look rash-like or similar to acne.

An estimated 40% of people suffer from the condition and you can easily self-diagnose yourself by checking for tiny bumps on the backs of your arms and legs. If you have it, chances are you’re already very much aware of it. However, many people don’t actually know what causes chicken skin or how they can combat it.

The medical term for the skin condition is keratosis pilaris. It’s named after the keratinization of hair follicles on the skin which happens when our bodies produce excess amounts of keratin, a skin protein. Basically, that extra keratin begins to clump together around hair follicles and causes a bump to form and raise up.

Eventually the hair follicles often become trapped underneath all of the excess keratin which blocks the pore and plugs it off. The hair keeps growing inside the closed off follicle, making it an ingrown hair, and if you look closely you can sometimes see it in the middle of the bump.

One of the main issues people have with chicken skin is that it’s notoriously hard to get rid of or control. It often appears worse in the winter when air temperatures are colder and moisture levels are lower. However, it also varies highly from person to person and one individual’s experience can be drastically different from another.

One product that gives visible results was Clearasil Ultra exfoliating scrub. It reduces the appearance and feeling of bumps and that it has worked to keep them at bay ever since she started using it. The active ingredient in the scrub is salicylic acid which is often a main ingredient in topical anti-acne treatments and creams.

It’s very important to always keep your skin moisturized and to apply lotion as soon as you get out of the shower or bath. Check out the video for more information and routines and remedies that can work for you. Maybe it can also work for you!

These Problem Areas On Your Face Reveal Health Problems In Other Parts Of Your Body!

Problems with facial Skin may be a reflection of disease in certain other organs, or bad lifestyle choices. The face, according to ancient Chinese medicine, “is the window to your health”. The video which you are about to watch, addresses the direct link between acne and other skin issues in the different zones of the face, and it’s link to potential organ and/or lifestyle choices.

A breakout or excessive oiliness on the FOREHEAD may indicate health issues with your BLADDER or SMALL INTESTINE. Eating an abundance of oily foods can slow up your ability to digest; drinking too much alcohol, stress and eating too many sweets can also contribute to acne in this zone.

Acne and oily skin in the zone between the EYE BROWS may be indicative of LIVER problems. An allergic reaction to something you are ingesting, as well as eating too much red meat, may cause the stomach to go on overdrive in order to digest, which in turn stresses the liver.

If you are experiencing a darkening of the skin beneath your EYES, broken capillaries and grayness or swelling around the eyes, your KIDNEYS may be in jeopardy. Your circulation may be impaired due to cigarette smoking, alcohol consumption and impaired functioning of the HEART.

Acne and oily skin of the NOSE may be indicative of HEART impairment. This can be a result of not getting fresh air, air pollution, gas and bloating and poor circulation leading to high blood pressure. Acne, spots and loss of color to to the CHEEKS can be linked to health issues with your LUNGS and KIDNEYS. Again, poor food choices, junk food that has too much sugar, cigarette smoking and inability to handle stress can be a cause.

Acne, skin paleness and dark spots on the LIPS and CHIN can be linked to STOMACH issues. Ingesting too much sugar, fatty foods and caffeine and alcohol are strong contributors to this problem. Additionally your inability to handle stress and sleep deprivation can cause this.

Further discussion of what your face is telling you about your health is included in the video below.

THIS One Easy Trick Can Get Rid Of All Those Annoying and Gross Blackheads Instantly!

Blackheads are gross and a pain in the butt to remove. Most people turn to pore cleaning strips that supposedly work to help pull them out. In reality, all that the pricey strips seem to do is dry out the fragile skin on the nose and irritate it further, plus they can be quite painful to remove.

Instead of wasting more money looking for a solution to this age old beauty problem, try out this 100% natural method. All that it requires is lemon, salt, and warm water. It’s much more effective than anything else at removing blackheads and it’s incredibly cheap and easy to do.

In a small bowl mix together 1 tablespoon of sea salt, ½ a teaspoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of water. Apply the mixture to your face, paying special attention to where any blackheads are located or where they tend to pop up. Begin to gently massage the mixture into your skin using your finger tips.

Work in a circular motion, as if you are buffing a car, and focus on areas with blackhead. Keep massaging the mixture around on your face for at least 2-4 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Wait a few minutes and then wash your face a second time using cold water. This will help to close pores and thus keep oil, dirt, and grime from building up and clogging them.

If you’re wondering how this simple scrub works, here is a breakdown. Salt is a natural antibacterial agent and helps to unclog pores by fighting against, and ridding it of, germs. Lemon juice contains citric acid which also helps to fight germs and bacteria and thus clean skin.

The citric acid also brightens your skin, in a similar fashion to how a chemical peel works at brightening it, by burning the topmost layer off. While that sounds quite harsh, it really is not as bad as you may be thinking. The citric acid is simply dissolving away the dead skin cells, oil, dirt, and other pollutants that are clogging and blocking your pores. The result is that your skin is left glowing, refreshed, and visibly healthier.

If you want, you can also spread the lemon-salt scrub over the rest of your face. It’s gentle and safe for practically all skin types and it works incredibly well to exfoliate and polish it. However, limit your use of this scrub to only 1 or 2 times a week and avoid sunlight when applying it because lemon juice attracts harmful sun rays that can potentially burn your skin. What are you waiting for? Grab a lemon and some salt and try it out for yourself!

She Puts Red Lipstick Under Her Eyes. But When She’s Done It’s STUNNING!

Having dark under eye circles is a beauty issue many people can’t quite solve. The unsightly dark areas make a person look tired and worn out even if they aren’t. Some people end up spending a small fortune on different kinds of concealers, blemish sticks, and powders that promise to cover up and mask the circles. These products usually don’t work as well as we hoped for and the search for a solution carries on.

A little known beauty secret for making any unsightly dark spots on the face area disappear is to use red lipstick. It sounds odd and far fetched to rub makeup meant for your lips anywhere else but on them, but it actually works wonders.

In a straightforward instructional video, Deepica Mutyala shows how to mask dark under eye circles using red lipstick in addition to your regular makeup routine. She explains that women who share her skin tone should use a bright orange-red colored lipstick to even out any dark circles and neutralize the face. Start with a makeup brush and dab it on the lipstick.

Then apply it to the eye area, underneath and around them, or anywhere else on your face that may need color correction and neutralization. Once you have evenly applied the lipstick you can begin to put on the rest of your makeup as you typically would. When you put concealer on over the red lipstick it’s best to use a beauty blender type of applicator to really make sure that it all blends well.

When finished, the lipstick and makeup you applied over it should mask the dark spots to a point where they are not at all noticeable. In comparison to normal concealers, the lipstick covers dark eye circles so well that even a slight hint of darkness won’t show through.

Try it yourself and see how well this trick works, after all there is nothing to lose, and chances are you already have a red lipstick laying around at home. For some of us out there, this beauty tip could change our appearance, and lives, for the better. So grab your red lipstick tonight, smear it on your face, and be amazed at how such an unlikely solution actually works!

3 Simple and All Natural Ways To Get Rid of Those Unsightly Large Pores

232f3f32232f32332f

Large pores are a frustrating beauty issue for many people. The unsightly blemishes are commonly seen as a sign of oily skin, but that’s just the main possible cause. While some people do have overactive oil glands, oftentimes larger pores begin to appear as we age and our skin starts to lose elasticity and moisture.

There are many products available on the market that have been touted as effective at shrinking pores. They promise users a youthful new glow and miraculous results, yet most of them don’t do anything and are ineffective. Some even damage the fragile skin on our faces because they contain extremely harsh and abrasive ingredients that do more harm than good.

Instead of enduring more pain or wasting more money in search of a solution, try a more gentle approach like this 100% all-natural method. It only requires one simple ingredient that’s inexpensive and chances are it’s much more effective than anything else you’ve tried so far at minimizing pores. All you need is baking soda and warm water. Baking soda has long been used in a number of at home beauty treatments, the recipe and directions for the pore minimizing baking soda scrub are as follows:

In a small bowl combine two tablespoons of baking soda and a few drops of water. Add the water slowly because you don’t want to make the mixture runny, rather you want a paste-like consistency. Gently massage the mixture onto your face using a circular motion. Do this for 30 seconds, no more no less, before rinsing if off with cool water. Finish up by applying moisturizer or doing whatever your normal skin routine consists of. You should aim to do this application every day for one week straight, but those with sensitive skin should cut it back to 2-3 times a week. After the first week, you’ll only need to use it once a month or every 2 weeks. Over time, this will tighten pores and many people have reported that it works!

Part of what makes baking soda so effective at cleaning in general is that it’s efficient at regulating pH because it’s neither too acidic, nor too alkaline. Rather, it falls right around the middle. Thus, when baking soda interacts with things that are either acidic or alkaline it naturally reacts and neutralizes them. That’s why baking soda is so great at maintaining balanced and neutral pH levels, and when you add it to water and apply it to your face, your cleaning your skin naturally and getting all of the gunk that’s clogging your pores out. Perhaps best of all, it’s extremely affordable and won’t harm the environment, like most of the ingredients that are found in beauty products do.

Here are two other all-natural pore minimizing remedies:

Lemon Juice and Egg White Masque- Combine 2 egg whites and beat them until frothy, then add in the juice from half a lemon. Smear the mask onto your face, being careful to avoid the eye and mouth areas. Once the mask has dried, or after about 30 minutes, rinse it off with warm water, pat dry, and apply moisturizer.

Tomato and Lime Juice Treatment- Combine 1 tablespoon of tomato juice with 2-4 drops of fresh squeezed lime juice. Stir until well blended then soak cotton pads in it and place them on your face. Keep them there for 15 minutes before removing and rinsing your skin off with cold water. *Do not leave this on any longer than 15 minutes because citric acid can burn delicate skin.

Try one of these applications tonight before bed and see the results for yourself!
