Mom Noticed a Strange Bruise on The Back of THIS 5 Year-Old’s Leg. But The Drs. Reveal The Terrifying Truth!

Finally sweet sweet Summer is here. The long cold winter is over and now we can finally go outside and enjoy the warm sun on our faces, swimming in pools, laying out at the beach and going hiking through the woods!
With all that good coming from mother nature there is always a flip side. In this case all our outdoor activities require us to be vigilant and have a raised awareness for all the types of creepy crawly creatures. From red ants, wasps, bees, hornets, ticks and worst of all spiders!
This brings us to today’s story which features 5-year-old Kailyn Donovan who spent a beautiful day outside in her backyard with her parents. The young girl was having so much fun that she was too distracted to feel a small pinch on her leg from some kind of bug. After a great day outside she came inside and everything seemed fine.
A couple days went by and her parents spotted what appeared to be some kind of bruise on the back of her leg. Her dad and mom didn’t think much of and decided it was no big deal. They brought her to the bus stop and she got on the bus to go to school.
Later that afternoon the school nurse called Kailyn’s parents and explained that she was feeling really sick and had a high fever. The fever was high enough that it warrented a hospital visit with a doctor.
Her mother and father picked her up from school and drove her to the nearest hospital. The doctor on rounds quickly realized it was a spider bite of some kind but he wasn’t sure exactly what type of spider or how bad this bite could potentially get.
He gave her a prescription of antibiotics and she quickly began to feel better and her high fever broke. She felt good enough to attend her pre-school graduation but her mom and dad were still keeping an eye on that mysterious spider bite on the back of her knee even though she felt so much better.
After her graduation mom’s ‘spidey senses’ began tingling as her motherly instincts kicked in she believed something was truly wrong as the bite began to transform in shape and size. It clearly wasn’t healing well and it was starting to look pretty bizarre.
She brought little Kailin back to the doctor who decided to refer her to a Pediatric Infectious-Disease Specialist who would have a much better grasp and understanding about this type bite. The specialist quickly figured out that she was bitten by a Black Widow Spider!
Black Widow Spiders are one of the most poisonous spiders in all of North America! This was become a very serious situation as her parents, doctors and young Kaelin were all becoming very scared.
If Kaelyn was not treated immediately this could have become an extremely dangerous situation. Luckily the specialist recognized the bite because it has a very distinctive look to it. Just like in majority of these cases, Kaelin was administered a dose of anti-venom that will be fully remove the venomous poison out of the body.
Just for your information these are the signs and symptoms of a Black Widow Spider bite: First you can feel nauseous, get a fever, cold sweats, chills and sometimes even muscle spasms that will begin at the original bite area and then slowly spread out to the rest of your muscles all over your body.
Every year in the United States about 2,000 Black Widow Spider bites are recorded and sometimes they can be fatal if not treated. However the number of fatalities from one of these bites is very low.
Luckily for Kaelin her parents realized this was no ordinary bug bite and they want other parents out there to be aware this summer so the same thing doesn’t happen to their kids.

If Your Yard Ever Has One of These Brown Patches Don’t Go Near It or Touch It and Keep Your Kids and Pets Far Away!
image via – youtube.com
So now that summer is here we are all going to be spending so much more time outside. Nothing feels better than stepping out of your house or apartment breathing in the fresh air, feeling the warm sunshine hit your face and just simply enjoying a beautiful day. We will all be spending a lot more time outside whether it is our backyards, the local park, the pool or the beach. Laying in the grass with a towel and catching some rays is definitely a favorite hobby of mine.
This brings us to today’s article. We have all been out in our backyards, our friends lawn, a public park or basically anywhere where the grass grows. Seeing a brown patch of grass doesn’t really seem like a big deal and most of us just overlook it and think, “What’s the big deal it’s just a circle of dead grass?”
While sometimes this can be the case, a brown patch of grass can be something much more than that. Now have no fear, the brown patch of grass is not dangerous and it isn’t going to hurt you, however what’s lurking just beneath it could be potentially hurt by you.
Confused? So was I until I learned about this little known fact about nature. As it turns out, that innocuous patch of brown grass could have a family of animals living right beneath it. In today’s story a man in Ontario, Canada noticed one of these brown patches on his lawn and then looked closer and saw the patch moving like the earth beneath had a mind of it’s own! He immediately called Ontario Wildlife Removal to see if they had any idea what this could be.
The expert from the Ontario Wildlife Removal got to the house inspected the strange brown moving patch of grass and quickly realized it was a rabbit’s nest filled with a bunny family just below the surface. He took a closer look and saw a litter of tiny hairless rabbits. He took some pictures in and a video you can watch in the video below.
The expert explains if you see one of these brown patches do not touch it under any circumstances. Even if you see a litter of ‘abandoned’ baby rabbits moving, the mother is most likely very close by and only brings them food twice per day. Many people don’t know this, but the reason the nests are usually in plain sight near human houses or apartments in the middle of your lawn or park is because predators tend to stay away from these places because they are afraid of people!
These dangerous predators who would otherwise eat baby rabbits won’t even attempt to approach the nests because they are too scared to come too close to the human population. Little did I know I was a baby rabbit protector! I don’t know about you but that’s a job I’ll take and do it free!
These baby rabbits are safe from their natural predators such as foxes, wolves and coyotes however, little kids, dogs and outdoor cats now become their biggest threat. Your best bet if you spot one these brown patches in your yard is to make sure your kids and pets can’t get to it until the baby bunnies are ready to leave the nest.
Baby rabbits grow extremely fast and within just a few weeks, that brown patch on your lawn will be vacant because the baby bunnies will be big enough and strong enough to fend for themselves in the wild. So next time you see one of these brown patches on the grass keep your distance and let your friends and family know.

THIS Pup Just Moved Into a New House But Then Freaks Out When She Notices THIS Strange Thing Outside!
image via – facebook.com
Moving can be extremely stressful in more ways than one, especially for our animal companions. When they first step foot into their new home it’s both exciting and terrifying all at once and they can quickly become overwhelmed by the experience. That’s because a new house is full of different types of strange smells, unfamiliar sights, and sometimes there are even new rules that pets have to get used to, like no going on the couch or upstairs.
Our four-legged friends often need a little extra time and space to process and become accustomed to their new surroundings. Once they settle in after a bit, it’s as if they’ve always lived there. It’s always interesting to see how animals approach and explore their new digs, especially dogs.
Compared to cats, they’re quicker, more animated, and much less cautious. A dog will run around sniffing out every single nook and cranny they come across, whereas cats run and hide under furniture. Some dogs will even run and jump straight into the new swimming pool, which is exactly how one adorable puppy named Christy reacted when she saw that her new house came with an in-ground pool in the backyard!
When the little snow-white West Highland Terrier caught her first glimpse of the pool, all her attention immediately was focused on getting outside to see it up close. Christy happily spun in circles, jumped up on the screen, and barked in delight at the awesome new upgrade in her life.
She was so excited that her little tail was wagging back and forth at a hundred miles an hour and when the door finally slid open she wasted no time and bolted right outside. She went full speed straight ahead without hesitating even the slightest bit and jumped right into the water like a champion! she ended up in the pool! She didn’t hesitate in the slightest and jumped right into the water like a champion.
As soon as she ended up in the pool Christy looked like she was on cloud nine as she swam around blissfully, nipping here and there at the water. The excited pup doggy paddled over to the stairs, got out, and ran to the other end of the pool to jump in and do it all over again.
After watching this little Terrier’s reaction, it’s safe to assume that she will be very happy in her new home. Now that she has a pool to go swimming in whenever she’d like, she’s probably already forgotten about the previous place she used to live.
Check out her unbelievably joyful reaction and pass it on with anyone who may need a smile!

Only 1 In 15 Real Cat Lovers Can Recognize All Of These Cat Breeds. Can You?
image via – shutterstock.com
Every breed of cat has its own unique set of defining looks and characteristics that set it apart from the others. Practically all of the felines which are classified under a specific breed have or exhibit some combination of these distinct traits. These days many of the domestic kitties you see are a mix of several different types of breeds, but you can usually guess which ones they are or may be.
In some of these mixed breeds their lineage makes itself clearly known, whether it shows through their markings, coloring, and physical attributes or by their temperament. In addition, certain breeds of felines have become renowned for their personalities and abilities.
One example is Maine Coon cats who are fondly referred to as “gentle giants.” They earned their nickname for being large, friendly, easy going cats, but they’re also renowned for their hunting skills. Another type of cat that most people are familiar with is Siamese cats. They are among the oldest and most ancient of the Asian feline breeds and became hugely popular throughout the 1900’s.
One adorably distinct domestic breed of cat, that you can’t help but love, is the lop-eared looking Scottish Fold. They sport the “folded” ears that bend forwards and down, which is caused by “a natural dominant-gene mutation that affects cartilage throughout the body”(Wiki). The lists and associations between breeds and their personalities and appearances is inexhaustible, since new combinations of breeds seem to appear every year!
For all of the breeds mentioned above, it’s likely that a mental picture of each popped into your head. While we all have different levels of knowledge when it comes to cats and identifying breeds, most of us know at least a few or our favorite type, or perhaps you’re well-versed in all things feline and know each breed like the back of your hand.
Whatever your level of knowledge about cats may be, put it to the test and see if you can recognize all of the cat breeds below. Some of these are kind of easy but there are definitely a few which are very challenging and not so well known. Good luck and enjoy!

THIS Little Puppy Tries To Howl For The First Time! But What Comes Out Is An UNEXPECTED Surprise!
image via – youtube.com
Chances are you don’t remember learning how to talk. Most people’s memories of such a young age are cloudy or non-existent. The experience would likely be lost forever which is why so many parents record their children’s first attempts at saying words.
The same is often done by pet owners with very young animals who are learning to meow or bark for the first time, like the family who captured this adorable home video. As you can see, the boy is teaching his malamute husky named Bella how to howl. The tiny puppy has barely opened its eyes and is just 20 days old at this point, but she’s already making strides towards her first howl. The sounds she makes are so cute and adorable, it’s impossible to not smile when hearing her squeaky little voice!
The best part about this, besides Bella’s obvious loveableness, is the boy teaching her. He is so gentle and sweet and handles her with such care and tenderness. With an owner like that, Bella will grow up to be a wonderful, loyal, and loving family dog.
Just in case anyone is wondering, Bella was not taken away from her mother, she’s the family pet of the people who filmed this. No animal should ever be separated for long from their mother at such a young age as they are still dependent on them for milk, love, and vital care.
While it certainly can be a struggle to learn something new, with a little practice, patience, and guidance, most eventually pick up whatever it is they’re trying to do. Once Bella gets the hang of it, she’ll be howling at the moon alongside her mother in no time!

If You See A Spot Like This On Your Child’s Cheek Go To The Hospital ASAP. The Reason Is Terrifying!
image via – youtube.com
Summer is on it’s way. As parents we are happy that our kids can spend more playtime outside, and most of us slather them in sun block, to protect them from the harmful UV rays of the sun. Depending on what part of the country we live in, and how woodsy or grassy the area is, determines the extent to which we check our kids for ticks that could potentially carry lyme disease.
Checking for tick bites as soon as your child has come in from outdoor play is critical. Ticks take some time to fully imbed in the skin, so that if you can remove it fully with a tweezer, this may happen in time to prevent the transmission of Borrelia Burgdorferi, should the tick carry it.
Lyme Disease is no laughing matter; it isn’t just something that runs it’s course, and life goes on. If not properly treated, often with several courses of antibiotics it can potentially leave both children and adults with long term, chronic debilitating effects on their health.
Luckily 70-80% of people who contract Lyme Disease have a visible erythema migrans (EM) rash, that appears like a red bull’s eye. It is often initially accompanied by extreme fatigue. Your child, or anyone seeing this rash should immediately be seen by their doctor, to be tested and begin antibiotic therapy quickly.
The video you are about to watch below, does a very comprehensive job of describing initial symptoms, and the problems often encountered with only one course of antibiotics. The faster and more comprehensive the treatment, the better the chance that the later, more grave symptoms can be prevented from occurring.
Later symptoms that become more chronic and debilitating, without or with only partial treatment of Lyme Disease, include: Headaches; Severe Joint Pain and Swelling; Facial or Bell’s Palsy; Heart Palpitations or an Irregular Heartbeat (Lyme Carditis); Dizziness; Difficulty Breathing; Inflammation of the Brain and Spinal Cord; Nerve and Shooting Pains; Numbness; Hand and Foot Tingling and Difficulty with Short-Term Memory.
For further discussion of these dangers, as well as other dangers to the Heart and Central Nervous System, watching the upcoming video is critical. The narrator will also advise you on the best modes of prevention, and why assuming that one course of antibiotic treatment is enough, can leave you vulnerable to the later, more serious symptoms.
Prevention and Proper Treatment can make a significant difference in the quality and longevity of people’s lives!
