When you have a new baby, it is very important to slowly acclimate your dog to this new situation. Some dogs can’t tolerate change and a new baby can be really stressful to them. You must slowly prepare them during the pregnancy. A good idea would be to play baby noise tapes, and rub baby lotion on your hands so that your cat can get used to the new sounds and smells.
You should set up the nursery furniture a few weeks before the baby arrives so your pup has plenty of time to investigate and get used to the new room. Purdue University did a study where they found 40 percent of children begin their life with a pet in the family. Of that population 90 percent will live with these pets through their childhood.
Taking care of another living being is a wonderful way to teach your children skills that they will use throughout their lives. This is an amazingly precious moment when Piper the Husky meets his new sister Lily Ann. An octopus’ main defense in the wild is camouflage and mimicry. This is how they survive and have been around for millions of years. They are also incredible at quick escapes. Other defenses include distraction with the use of ink sacs and autotomising limbs. They are some of the most interesting species on all of planet earth.
Some can change colors, while others can shape shift and look like other predators so that they don’t get eaten. Their disguise and escape skills have given them quite the advantage over other species in the ocean.
In the video below you will see first hand just how good an octopus is at camouflage. They are true masters in the art of disguise. What looks to be a piece of algae quickly transforms in front of your eyes. I had to watch it multiple times just to make sure it was real! This is so awesome. Enjoy! 🙂

This is such a heart warming video, that shows how important having a dog is to a young child. A lot of people say they would rather have a dog than a child. But, I think having both is the best combination. Having a dog in the house is one the greatest things a family can do for their child.

Video: They Just Put The Cover Over The Pool. But Some Unexpected Visitors Show Up Creating a Scary Situation!

Boxers are usually super smart have unlimited energy and love to play. They are great family dogs and tend to be great with kids. They are one of the most popular dog breeds in the United States. They can be a bit tough to train and can sometimes be hard-headed. However if you don’t give up on them and have a little persistence they can end up being really well trained and behaved pups.
The Boxers in this video may not be the brightest bulbs in the bunch, but they sure know how to have fun. Their humans had just put the cover back on the swimming pool when they looked outside and caught their do pups getting crazy on top of the pool cover! It looks like a doggy slip n slide and these two are having the time of their lives.
If you ever put your cover on your pool make sure your pets are inside. In the video below luckily no harm came to either of these boxer pups but your pet could easily drown in this situation. Luckily their humans were home and caught them in the act on camera. Can you imagine looking out and seeing this?

Our planet is at a turning point right now. We have a chance now to change things, if we can all just wake up and realize the destruction we are producing. Animals are going extinct at the fastest rate ever. The air is too polluted to breathe in. The oceans are contaminated with all sorts of toxicity and the economies of the world are all on the brink of a possible collapse in the near future.
We need to all come together as a unified front, and change this world for the better for the future of humanity and all living beings on this planet. We need to not only leave this planet a better place for our kid, but for our grand kids and their kids and so on! It’s time to stop being selfish and start working together so we can bring about huge change and prosperity to earth.

Man Flies a Drone Camera Over The Water. When It Zooms In My Jaw Dropped!

Meet Captain Dave, a ship captain who runs a whale watching safari year round. For the first time ever, the rare, majestic and endangered blue whales ended up in Dana Point, California. Luckily Captain Dave had his drone camera ready and captured the first drone footage of blue whales in this area. One of the blue whales he filmed, is believed to be over 80 feet long.
He also capture incredible video of a gray whale mama and her babies playing and eating kelp off the shore of Orange County. Captain Dave explains how rare it is to capture to gray whale calves. He explains that 35 percent of blue whale babies are eaten by Orca whales. So their mothers intentionally keep them close at all times.
There is not much for these babies to eat during their migrations, so they mainly feed on their mother’s milk and grow at about 50 pounds per day. The final thing he captured was a giant megapod of thousands of dolphins swimming side by side. This is truly a site to behold.
They swam right beside the boat and gave these whale watchers a truly unforgettable experience. This footage is absolutely breathtaking. Mother Nature never ceases to amaze. What a wonderful planet we all live on! Enjoy!
