A Giant Whale Kept Swimming Up To These Guys. Then They Realized Something Was Seriously Wrong!

Two young fisherman from Australia recently had an amazing run in with an enormous whale while out on their boat. Seventeen year old Michael Riggio and his friend Ivan Iskenderian were returning from a fishing trip in Middle Harbour, which is north of Sydney, when a whale swam up to them.

At first the boys were surprised and amazed that a whale was coming in so close to shore and the boat. It repeatedly poked the tip of its barnacle speckled head up out of the water and even nudged the boat several times.

As the whale continued acting more and more atypical another fisherman took notice. Ron Kovacs was in a boat across from the boys and started to record the strange scene. The whale circled the watercraft and swam underneath it a few times before it resumed poking its head out of the water. That’s when the boys realized the reason for the whale’s uncharacteristic behavior; it needed help.

In its mouth was a tangled mess of fishing wire and several plastic bags that had gotten stuck. The unwelcome garbage was clearly aggravating the whale and it wanted it removed. Iskenderian sprung into action and leaned out as far as he could when the whale neared the boat.

He managed to snag the trash and free the whale from having it stuck in his mouth. As he was doing that, Riggio whipped out his cell phone and used the scene as a backdrop for some selfies. He ended up capturing and preserving the incredible, unbelievable, once in a lifetime moment and shared it with the world.

After the wire and plastic had been removed the whale happily swam off to deeper waters. As it glided out to sea it slapped its fin on the water’s surface, as a way to show appreciation and say thanks to the people who helped it out. The man recording the video, Ron Kovacs, summed it up best when he later wrote on his Facebook page “He was very enquisitive and more interested in us.

You could see that big eye coming out watching us. They are not dumb for sure.” He is 100% correct, whales are far more intelligent and clever than most humans ever give them credit for. They say the eyes are the window to the soul, and when Kovacs looked into the whale’s eye he saw a peaceful, smart, wise, and gentle creature who needed a little help. Once the whale received that help, it expressed thanks and continued on its way.

This Is What Happens When You Mix Snake Venom With Human Blood. The Results Is Terrifying!

Snake venom is probably the reason why so many people are scared of the slithering creatures. Our ancestors saw how vicious, painful, and deadly bites from certain ones could be, and that grew into an instinctive fear of all snakes, as well as a healthy desire to stay far away from them. Of all the thousands of different types of snakes in the world, only a select few are truly deadly.

These days venom is seen as medically important, with studies showing that the venom from certain species contains compounds which display anti-tumor and anti-cancer activity. It’s also used to make anti-venom which is used to treat deadly snake bites in humans. As such, it is worth a lot of money, the man in the video says that by the ounce dried venom is worth 10x the amount of pure, solid gold.

The first part of this amazing video shows how venom is extracted from some of the most deadly snakes in the world. The serpents are kept individually in what looks like dark, lidded, clay pots. A handler reaches in using a snake hook, which snags the snake out of their chambers, when it’s time to extract it’s venom type.

He then pins the top part of the snake’s body down so that he can safely grab it by the back of the head and brings it over to a jar. The container has a piece of fabric stretched tight and securely over the top, which the snake bites into, and the handler milks as much out as he can. The venom expelled while it is biting down drips through the cloth and into the jar, then the snake is returned to it’s clap pot.

The second half of the video shows what a Russell’s Pit Viper’s venom does to blood. These vipers are found in Southeast Asia and India and are one of the most lethal snakes known to man. A few drops of the deadly toxin are sucked into a syringe and then dropped into a small cup of blood.

In only a matter of seconds the blood is turned into a thick, coagulated, lump. That is what the Russell’s viper venom does to small animals that it commonly hunts, like mice and rats. When they bite a human, our blood instead becomes very thin and watery, causing it to leak out of every passage and orifice on our bodies.

A person bleeds out through their gums, nose, eyes, ears, mouth, and within 12 hours death sets in. The demonstration is fascinating and now I know why I am scared of snakes.

These Neglected Bears Were Caged For 20 Years. Now Watch The Moment When They Are Finally Set Free!

Unimaginably horrible living conditions were the fate of four bears for the last 20 years.  They were confined to rusty small cages, with no shade, and no free access to water when they wanted, at a decrepit roadside zoo in Pennsylvania, USA. Bruno, Fifi, Marsha and Pocahontas experienced this mental and physical cruelty without hope.

So neglected, and further forced to perform tricks when suffering from arthritis, these poor bears were in terrible shape when they were discovered.  After so many years of suffering, these wonderful animals were rescued in July, 2015;  Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado and PETA finally came to their rescue.

This beautiful video shows us the incredibly uplifting scene of the the bears, taking their first step out of their horrible cages, toward a life of care and ultimately freedom.  Once adjusted, the four friends will be released into a 15 acre habitat where they will live out the rest of their lives free in nature.

This Raccoon Wants To Swim In The Pool But His Bro Is Freaking Out. His Reaction Is Hysterical!

It’s one thing when your mom is overprotective, but it’s just too much when your brother thinks it’s his job to set limits for you. It seems that these raccoon brothers are frequent visitors to this family’s pool, when beautiful summer days beckon them to take a dip and cool off.

You can hear the human father and son banter about these two familiar visitors; as they discuss what’s going on they refer to them as Willy and Waylan. Willy can’t wait to get in and take a swim, while Waylan is doing everything in his power to stop them.

It’s hilarious to watch them; you can sense how their conversation is going: “Willy don’t go in!”, “Leave me alone Waylan, look at me swim, this is fun!”, “Get back here now Willy!” “No way, this is fun, stop being a killjoy and come on in!”

As Willy swims back to the edge of the pool, Waylan sees his opening and starts grabbing any part of his brother to get him out. Willy finally gives in after enjoying his swim. His bro wants to get back to the forest. Watching these two interact is hysterical.

A Helpless Baby Zebra Is Drowning In The River. Now Watch The Hippo’s Unexpected Next Move!

It never fails to amaze me when different species of animals display the instinct to help each other in a crisis.  Such a moment is captured in this wildlife video of a herd of zebras crossing over to land, while swimming across an African river.  We watch, as a little baby zebra begins to falter when he gets tired and disoriented in the current.

What happens next is truly heartwarming.  None of the other zebras are aware of the little foal’s distress.  As he is floundering, out of nowhere a gigantic, concerned and friendly hippo comes to the rescue.  As the current is pulling the little zebra, the hippo gently nuzzles him toward land.  He stays with the little guy, guiding him in the right direction.

When the baby zebra reaches the shore on his shaky little legs, he gets caught between some giant rocks.  This nurturing hippo stays behind him, still concerned for his welfare, and gently nudges him through the obstacles.

He doesn’t leave the dazed little foal until he is certain that he is steady and headed in the right direction.  This amazing video is set to just the right musical accompaniment, which all the more dramatizes this unusually touching rescue.
