This Guy Rubs A White Candle On His Bathroom Tiles. But The Reason Is Genius!

When you’re doing some deep cleaning around the house one of the grossest and most tedious areas you have to deal with is hands down the bathroom. As much as you may try to avoid it, at some point in time it must be scrubbed and disinfected, if you want all the surfaces and fixtures to stay looking as fresh and clean as possible.

There are all sorts of specific products that foam and penetrate for toilet’s, showers, sinks and mirrors, but what about tile floors? They seem to slowly build up dirt and gunk over time and nothing ever seems to actually clean the grout.

Mopping is ineffective and if you want it spick and span you basically have to get on your hands and knees and scrub the cracks with a toothbrush.

However, there is a much easier and preventative method for cleaning the grout in between tiles. Simply get a white candle stick and rub it directly onto and along the lines between the tiles. Make sure to firmly rub the wax on and go over the cracks a few times so you don’t miss a spot.

Also, clean the cracks before doing this, since it seals in the grout and whatever may happen to be on it as well, dirt included. The wax is hydrophobic, so when it’s really humid in the bathroom or water drips on the tiles, it repels the moisture and water off of them.

This means that mold and mildew won’t be able to grow and settle in between the cracks, which is what often makes them so hard to clean in the first place. That’s all you need to do to keep the grout from molding, getting clogged up with mildew, or becoming discolored.

Just rub a 50 cent, white colored candle on the cracks! It really works and is the best trick for this exact problem area. Please be kind and share this knowledge with all your friends and family to save them time and energy the next time their bathrooms need cleaning.

This Guy Puts A Wine Glass Over A Candle. The Result Has To Be Magic!

Ok, this is really crazy! It’s amazing how the mechanics of scientific principles can produce byproducts that are beyond imagination. In fact, in this case it results in what can be said to be the coolest party trick. Get ready to impress your friends, acquaintances and strangers in any social situation. This will guarantee to pay off as the most awesome thing at any party.

By the mechanism of providing a vacuum, you will get to watch wine magically levitate into an upside down empty wine glass. I know it sounds impossible but I saw it happen before my very eyes.

A small tea candle is lit, and wine poured around it before the wine glass is placed over it. The enclosure produces gas and the heat of the candle meeting the gas causes the pressure inside the glass to rise. This pulls the wine up into the glass. You won’t believe what you are seeing!

Video: Woman Starts Spray Painting A Seashell. But When She’s Done Stunning!

With the warm weather finally here and summer will be here before we know it!r  If it feels a bit too early for all that, then try making these fun little candles.  They seem like the perfect accessory to liven, and lighten, up any space.  Best of all, the pretty beach-chic lights are super simple and very inexpensive to make. All you need are seashells, tea light candles, glue, and spray paint.

You can either use shells you may have collected at the shore and have on hand, or do what the video says and head to a craft store, like Michaels, to pick them up.  Then, spray paint the shells with whatever color your heart desires or that you already have on hand.  The gold ones shown came out looking very nice, and other metallic finishes like silver and bronze would likely be on par with those in the video.

After that, remove the wicks from the tea lights and make sure to return the wax back into the metal holder.  Glue the wicks to the base of the shells then set them aside to dry.  Melt the wax by placing the metal tea lights/wax holders on a pan over low heat.  Watch this part closely and when it’s all liquid take the wax and carefully pour it into the seashells.  As they dry and solidify use a pair of pliers to grab the tops of the wicks and straighten them out.

All that is left is to allow your freshly poured candles to fully harden.  Strategically place them or strew the shells wherever you please, set them alight with a flame, and enjoy!

This Guy Mixes Butter and Toilet Paper. The Results Could Save You In An Emergency!

Grant Thompson AKA ‘The King Of Random’ is at it again with another MacGyver like Life Hack.  He came up with this original idea one day when he was making candles with vegetable oil.  Then an idea flashed in his head that maybe he could make a candle out of melted butter that would be a perfect light source for an emergency situation.  WARNING: before starting this project be aware that an open flame is a fire hazard, do not us near anything explosive or flammable.  Use this video tutorial at your own risk.

So to get started you will need some rolled up toilet paper which will be used as a wick.  You next take the toilet paper and push it down into the middle of a block of butter.  At this point you have just created the world’s most simple candle.

When you ignite the toilet paper, the butter under the wick will start to melt and soak up the toilet paper.  The liquid butter is then vaporized and it is the vapor butter that is the flammable part.  In this video Grant uses an 8 oz piece of butter and he cut it into two pieces.  Each half of the butter burned for almost 4 hours!

If you ever are in an emergency situation, with no light source or heat try out this awesome life hack. You never know when you might need to utilize this awesome technique!
