A guy living in NYC started to notice that food kept disappearing from his apartment. In fact, so much food had seemingly disappeared that it prompted him to ask his girlfriend if she was taking the food and devouring it all down!
She said no way and that’s when he decided to figure out what the heck was actually going on here. He quickly set up a hidden cam in a corner and aimed it right at the kitchen. A couple hours after he fell asleep, the hidden security cam caught one of the scariest things ever!
In the dark, upper right hand corner, a lady suddenly appears and slowly creeps her way out of a deep storage crawl-space, which extends into the kitchen. She moves slowly, creepishly and carefully as she drops down onto a table and then slithers to the floor, trying her hardest to not making any noise!
She heads straight over to the sink and pees in it, then pops open the fridge for a drink, swigging directly out of the carton. After, she grabs some food in the pantry and then sits down on the couch to relax and enjoy her snack.
All the while, just feet away, the man is asleep right in the next room. The weird woman seems to know where everything is as she deliberately moves her way slowly around the kitchen. She has done this more than a few times before and by now it seems like she’s at ease raiding this poor guys kitchen.
While the whole clip makes my skin crawl, the worst part was when the guy got up to get a drink in the middle of the night. The woman hears him coming and runs out of the shot to hide, while he passes right by her unknowingly.
He grabs the carton she just drank out of and pours himself a drink before heading back to bed. The woman was there watching and hiding the whole time which makes this feel like it could be straight out of a horror movie. Even the way she slithers back up into the crawlspace seems menacing!
When the man first saw the footage he instantly ran out of the apartment and called the police who arrived and took the creepy lady away. After investigating they told the guy that she had been living up in the storage area for weeks. It was likely that she initially broke in to rob him while he was out, found the space, and decided to stay and make herself at home.
A person’s home is supposed to be the one place that they feel safe and secure in. This video is so ominous and alarming because the woman violates the man’s personal space to such an extreme degree, and takes away any safe feeling he had in the process.
Also, the police told the man that this wasn’t the first time they had come across a case like this. Which makes me wonder, how many people out there are living with uninvited guests in their own houses, who eat their food, and hide in the shadows?

Plus, you can use up those old bananas laying around and satisfy your sweet tooth at the same time. Unlike many other cakes made from scratch, this one requires little time or effort on your part. Here’s a list of all the ingredients it calls for:
1 ¾ cup plain flour – 2 tablespoons baking powder – ½ teaspoon salt – ¼ teaspoon baking soda – 1/3 cup of butter or margarine – 2/3 cup sugar – 1/2 cup chopped walnuts – 2 eggs, well beaten – 2 tablespoons dark corn syrup – 3 ripe bananas well mashed
Gather all the ingredients and start by beating the two eggs in a bowl. Place the peeled ripe bananas in a separate bowl and mash them up with a fork. In a medium sized bowl sift the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda into it.
Mix the sugar and butter together in yet another bowl so that they form a creamy consistency and then stir in the corn syrup, eggs, and bananas. Finally, add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix them all together very well.
Grease up the inside bowl of the slow cooker with a coating of butter and then place a generous amount of flour inside. Tip it all around so that the flour sticks to the butter and completely coats the inside, this will prevent the cake from sticking and make the removal a lot easier.
Place the banana bread batter into the floured and buttered crock pot and cover it with the lid. Cook times may vary depending on your crock pot.You’ll know it’s done when you stick a toothpick in the middle of the cake and it comes out clean.
If there is cake batter sticking to the pick, continue cooking a little longer or until it comes up clean. Allow the cake to cool before removing, it should slide right out when you turn the cooker upside down but you may have to run a butter knife around the edge to help ease it out.
How you decide to serve the banana cake is all up to you. Cream cheese frosting pairs well with it, as do chopped nuts, a sprinkling of brown sugar, whipped cream, or fresh berries. Really any toppings and additions will work, or none at all because it tastes yummy all on its own!

Fishing for largemouth bass is a hugely popular sport in The United States of America. Each year it draws an estimated thirty million people to the banks of fresh water ponds, rivers, ponds, and lakes. What makes largemouth bass fishing so appealing to many is that the big fish will make you work hard to catch em’ and fight you every step of the way to the very last second!
When a giant bass takes the bait it is not an easy reel em’ in kind of job, it is more like a prepare for a mega battle type of situation. The bass will do all sorts of tricks, maneuvers and techniques to attempt to get away! Many will even fling their slippery oily bodies into the air in a desperate last chance attempt to escape from the Fisherman’s hook.
This is why so many fishermen and anglers love casting their lines in the hope that a mythically largemouth bass will grab the bait and thus bring a once in a lifetime experience into their day!
To see exactly how powerful, agile aggressive and big-mouthed these bass are, watch the accompanying video of one in action. The video was caught by an unknown fisherman who was using bait to tempt and lure the aquatic beasts at a deep green fishing water hole.
He reels the tinier fish along the top of the water and then suddenly a giant blurry monster can be seen moving up out of the depths from below the waters surface. Moments later the huge fish appears, mouth open wide, and devours the poor little baitfish swallowing it whole in one bite. And this is why they are known as largemouth bass..
There was no hesitation on the fish’s part in going in for the tasty treat because they are the apex predator of these waters. When you are at the top of the food chain it means that only humans can catch them, and even then most of the largemouth bass that are reeled in end up getting released back into the waters.
Many of the larger ones are breeding females and it’s common practice to release them because they are the future of the sport and sustainability is key. It’s both morally and culturally looked down upon to keep a huge female fish and to do so goes against the unspoken rule of bass fishing!
Also, in many locations it is also illegal to take fish of a certain size. Plus, their meat is not really good to eat. It’s kind of fishy, slimy and mushy. It is not as high a quality compared to the other fish it lives with in its habitat, that you can catch just as easily. So if the one in this video was caught, it was likely also released.

If you have ever noticed that somebody has a tiny hole above their ear, that looks like it could be a misplaced dimple, you may have just thought that it was from some weird type of piercing. However, what you actually spotted is a body feature that is a naturally occurring mutation in some humans. And while the little hole is not all that common in The United States, it is more prevalent than you’d imagine it to be!
Those tiny holes are best known as preauricular sinuses and they are located right around the junction where the top of the external ear cartilage meets the face. They are considered a birth defect and get passed down from one generation to the next and so on..
The tiny holes can show up on 1 or both ears, with the right ear being the more common site. Usually they are harmless, but just like any other types of sinuses, they can sometimes become infected and require treatment and antibiotics. Some may also form cysts and in rare cases draining or removal is the best option.
Why the holes are there in the first place and for what purpose remains mostly quite the mystery. The video mentions an interesting theory put forth by Neil Shubin, an evolutionary biologist, who thinks that these holes could very well be an ‘evolutionary remnant of fish gills left over’. It’s an interesting theory and makes complete sense, but there could just as easily be another explanation for the strange holes!
The chances of a person being born with a preauricular sinus dimple varies across geographical and ethnic lines. Researchers in Korea found that the small dents are most common among Asian and African populations, where between 4-10% of the population may have them.
In comparison, less than 1% of Americans and people born in the U.K. are affected, which is way less. In Ethiopia, these small holes are considered lucky to have because they’re believed to bring people abundance, riches, money and wealth!

Printed U.S.A. money has been around for 100’s of years, starting in 1690 when the Massachusetts Bay Colony issued its very first paper currency. For the next 173 years there were many types of different monies being printed and used throughout The USA which inevitably led to mass confusion and the rapid rise of counterfeit, or fake, currency and bills!
Recognizing the urgent need for a unified and one national monetary system, President Lincoln signed the National Banking Act in 1863 that established the federal dollar as The United States of America’s 1 and only official currency. However, this did not deter scammers in their attempts to beat the unified system and to this day fake money and currency is being made and put into circulation.
There are all sorts of sophisticated ways to both produce and detect counterfeit money. The most common detection method used by stores is the counterfeit detection pen that you often see cashiers swiping on money. They are looking to see if a black mark appears, if one does the bill is fake, and no black mark means it’s real.
The government is always changing up it’s security features to keep ahead of sophisticated fakes. They use color changing ink, embedded security strips, watermarks, micro-writing, and more to make it as hard as possible to copy and reproduce fake bills.
Even so, many people who try to pass fake money are successful because people accepting it rarely look closely at cash they are given and don’t know what to be looking for. In this video you can see what a counterfeit $50 bill looks like.
It was recorded in Vietnam and at first glance there is nothing inherently obvious that would raise suspicions, especially if it was passed to someone who is not familiar with which US president goes on what denomination bill.
That is the main giveaway in the video, as the dollar amounts in all four corners and the written amount were coated to change them from 10 to 50. When the woman applies rubbing alcohol to the money the coating starts to dissolve away and underneath the real $10 bill is revealed.
This goes to show that even simple, fake, counterfeit bills can easily be manipulated to look quite exact and real, especially when an actual lower denomination one is used as the base. People in other countries would have no clue that it’s a fake and even in the US a cashier who is busy and going through the motions likely wouldn’t catch it!
While there is little that the average person can do about this, it’s always a good idea to keep your eyes on your money, and if you ever do spot counterfeit money report it and don’t try to pass it on!
