We are SOOOO attached to our dogs, that we often project human-like characteristics to them. Dogs are certainly loving and are definitely capable of being trained to understand commands, however the question often remains as to whether they actually understand our words, or is it our tone of voice?
Personally, when it comes to my little pup being asked in a lively voice, “Do you wanna go for a walk?”, his wagging tail, jumping up with excitement and heading towards the door, leads me to believe he knows what the word ‘WALK’ means. Comprehension is one thing, but actually having the ability to mimic and produce words is another!

Animal Adopts THIS Unlikely Orphaned Baby. What They Look Like Years Later Is An Unexpected Surprise!
The depth of compassion that one animal has for another, when they come from different species, never fails to amaze me. The touching video you are about to watch below, tells the story of little Poncho the opossum, whose mom was killed by a car, when he was just a newborn.
Poncho was found by animal rescuers, as the tiny infant clung to his dead mother’s side, after she had been hit by the car. In fragile condition, and an unlikely chance of survival, little Poncho was lucky to be found. Receiving veterinary attention, he was nursed back to health, but the sweet little guy was still a motherless child…until Hantu came along.
A most unlikely surrogate mom, the white German Shepherd had never had pups of her own. It seemed like her need to nurture met with Ponchu’s need for a mother figure, and a bond was formed. Ponchu clung onto to Hantu’s side just as he had with his mother! The two brought comfort and happiness to each other.
To this day, years later, they are still inseparable! Though bigger, Poncho still clings to Hantu’s side as they take walks in the woods. This is truly a sight to behold.

So it seems that it is not only the human species that enjoy the effects of alcohol. This most entertaining video shows the behavior of several wild species in the African jungle eating the rotting marula fruit that they come upon in their journey. It’s strange to think that animals of all species can get drunk naturally in the wild. Honestly I never even thought this was a thing but it’s been going on since before humans even existed!
They ravenously indulge in this fruit. The monkeys, giraffes, elephants, and many others devour the fruit which then ferments as they digest. They soon literally are all drunk and the hilarity ensues. The narration adds to their incredible antics. The narrator takes the whole thing video to the next level. This is too good!
As if the drunk animals in action weren’t funny enough, watch as they struggle with their morning after hangovers! Video: This Funny Goat Licks A Dog. The Dog’s Reaction Is Priceless!
Dogs are some of the most patient animals on earth. We consistently see them showing the zen nature of a Buddhist monk in videos that feature kids with dogs, new kittens with older dogs, and most recently even tortoises pestering pups. Dogs are so loving it is no wonder they are mans best friend. Dogs give off the most consistent positive energy that is contagious to anyone around them.
In the video below, a rather annoying goat continuously pokes, licks, and prods this extremely patient pup. A lesser animal would not put up with such shenanigans, but this dog is a saint. The dog stays calm while the goat inspects the stoic pup. The goat keeps speaking to the dog in goat language, but the dog basically just ignores the banter, and allows the goat to do what he has to do.
It is possible that this relentless goat is trying to pick a fight with this peaceful dog who would rather just turn the other cheek. Goats are fascinating creatures and they are slowly taking over the internet. They can be cute and precious, while at other times they can be insane and totally ridiculous.

The End Of Your Tape Measure Has Features You’ve Probably Never Heard Of. I’m So Glad I Learned THIS
Most people think that a tape measure is for measuring things. They are right, of course, but there is more to a tape measure than first meets the eye. There are specific features built in to the indispensible tool that make it much more effective and efficient, but only if one knows what they are and how to use them. Many of the features are to be found at the terminal end of the tape itself, ingeniously built in to the metal tab that holds it in place on an edge or against a surface.
Upon close inspection, one will notice a notch in the face of the tab. If, like many people, you find yourself trying to measure something without someone to hold the end still, only to have the end slip off until your temper begins to slip with it, you can place the head of a nail or screw in the slot and it will hold the tape securely from any angle.
The second feature is the serrated edge of the tab. It can be used in lieu of a pencil to mark the measurement, and it will always be accurate because it is built in to the tape itself.
You might have noticed that the tab wiggles quite a bit. You may have assumed that you have a faulty tape measure, but they all have this feature. If you look closely at the markings of the first inch, you will see that it is 1/16 inch short.
When you hook the tape to an outside edge, the tape pulls away from the tab by 1/16 inch. Conversely, when you place the tape on an inside edge, the 1/16 inch thick tab itself makes up the missing distance. There is a final, crucial design feature that is even more helpful and rarely known, but you’ll have to watch to the end of the video to find out what it is!
