Just as there are two sides to every coin, there are two sides to every personality. Each of us is conscious of our own self in that we know how we act, what we do, and what’s going through our minds. At the same time, we are also unconscious of different parts of our personalities and at all times are unknowingly repressing them. This unconscious aspect of our dual personalities is called the shadow self. It has been analyzed and examined by some of the greatest minds of our time and the famous psychologist Carl Jung described it as being the dark side of our personality, hence the term ‘shadow self.’
He posited that this area of our personality is controlled by very basic, animal-type instincts and it’s plagued by uncertainty, doubt, and illogical thoughts. While it certainly sounds all dark and terrible, it’s not all doom and gloom. Our shadow self has a silver lining and can prove to be an asset for many of us.
That’s because it is believed to be a strong source of creativity for people who are able to positively tap into it. It’s also thought to be linked into the psychological reasoning for as to why mankind values life, society, and freedom so highly. There are many other beliefs surrounding the shadow self and different interpretations, definitions, and assumptions abound on the subject.
These are much more involved and multi-layered than what is mentioned here because it’s some really complex stuff! Now that you’re acquainted with what your shadow self is you can also see what color it happens to be. While this may sound strange, it’s not, because just like how our auras glow externally, our shadow self radiates colorfully internally!

Your aura is the subtly pervasive atmosphere created by and emanating from your body which is visible to some by color. This field of luminous radiation has been associated with a variety of personality traits, depending on the colors of the layers. It can be read like a map of a person’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual states. This means that your aura is in constant flux, depending on your well being, and can be made up of several colors at once.
The existence of an electromagnetic energy field around every object in the world is a scientifically proven fact, but there is debate whether the cascading outlines can be seen by the human eye or not. Because devices that should be able to measure these alleged fields have recorded nothing, the claim to be able to see them is often considered paranormal. The colors around a person can extend out far, or only be very close to the body. The latter occurs when a person is guarding themselves from someone or something. When two people have been intimate with each other, their auras will be in contact with one another and share common colors.
These fields are best seen in full daylight and with relaxed eyes. When first attempting to visually perceive an aura, it is likely you will be able to see a field but no color. With more practice, the colors will begin to reveal themselves.

At First It Seemed Like A Normal Cake But When It Begins to Spin At :06 My Jaw Dropped!

Who doesn’t want to taste the rainbow in cake form? If you do, this awesome color changing cake video will make your day. The icing on the cake is exactly what makes it appear so magical. The contrasting colors look like they melt all across the top and sides of the tasty frosted treat in a series of neat waves.
The psychedelic effects were achieved by combining a system of clever decorative wave techniques to the icing, with the bright colors airbrushed on afterwards. Spraying on the different colored food dyes at certain angles, so that they only cover one side of the peaks and ridges, makes them appear to effortlessly change color as the cake is spun around.
The result is a seriously cool cake which can be perceived a number of different ways, all depending on where you stand!
The rainbow hued sheet of baked deliciousness was uploaded by YouTuber CharlotteSometimes who shared a short clip that shows her spinning the cake around so that you can really see how it transforms depending on the angle it’s viewed from.
In addition, she also made available an easy to follow tutorial on how you can re-create the visually stunning cake at home in your own kitchen. While it appears tricky and super hard to do, it’s really not.
The biggest hurdle to replicating the masterpiece is that it requires the right tools, like a cake decorating airbrush and an icing comb. Other than that, it seems like a really fun, interesting, and challenging baking project that anyone can take on.

This Color Is Breaking The Internet Appearing Different To Everyone! Is It Green Or Blue To You?
The internet has become divided yet again over what shade of color people are seeing. This time it’s not the infamous dress of yesteryear that appeared to be either black and blue or gold and white. Now it’s simply one color that is splitting people up in two distinct camps and it’s those that see blue versus those that see green. Check out the color below and decide for yourself which one you see!
Optical Express, a company based in the United Kingdom, conducted a public survey on color perception in which they asked people to identify the color as belonging to either the blue or green color family. At first glance, 64% answered green and 32% answered blue.
The same participants were then asked to identify the same color once again, but this time it was in-between two colors that were clearly blue. The second time around a whopping 90% responded that the color was green! According to the Optical Express website, the color is in fact more green than blue, and this becomes much more clear when it’s placed next to shades that are definitely blue.
However, the real lesson to take from all of this is that how we see and visually interpret the world can drastically differ from one person to the next. It’s not only that particular shade of color we see differently, that’s a very basic example, it can be anything else we’re visually perceiving that may be different..
