A Dog Crosses This Woman’s Path At Night. What The Dashcam Caught Nobody Expected!

Dogs are known as one the smartest animals on the planet.  They can be trained to do just about anything, especially under the care of a great trainer/human.  Dogs can sit, fetch, run, speak and all sorts of other neat tricks under the right conditions.  But the dog in this video has taken his tricks to a whole new level..

It was a normal night, as a woman was riding down a dark road in Russia.  A figure darts out from the woods in front of her car before she can even react to it.  She gets out of her car believing that she ran over the poor animal.  She goes over to inspect it, and realizes it is a dog.  Before she can even get her bearings, the dog leaps up from ‘playing possum’, runs towards her open car door, jumps in the front seat and steal the unsuspecting woman’s car ride from under her nose!

As he drives off, he even tries to change the music on the radio! The dog set the whole thing up and will now be taking this Subaru for a wild ride! I wonder where he drove off to? Maybe doggy Disney World or to the pet store to buy unlimited treats and hang out with all his doggy friends!  Enjoy! 🙂

It Seems Like A Normal Forest. But When The Ground Begins To Move WOW!

Imagine walking through the woods on a cool, windy day. You look around and take all the sights in, from the trees above to the floor below. As you head through the trees you carefully step over dead branches and jutting roots, then you notice something odd and out of place.

What should be still, solid, stable ground is anything but that. Instead, the Earth all around you is heaving and moving slowly, like it’s alive or possessed by something. That would really freaky and weird, right? For one man, this was reality.

Brian Nuttall captured footage and evidence of his strange walk through the woods this past Halloween, when the weakened remnants of Hurricane Patricia were passing through Nova Scotia, Canada. He had been walking through the forest in Apple River when he came upon the peculiar sight.

In the video he shot the ground appears to be alive and “breathing,” it heaves up and down, and steadily moves around. Mr. Nuttall shared the video he captured with with the Facebook page We Love Nova Scotia. Since it was posted, the clip has quickly caught people’s attention and imagination, and many have offered a variety of explanations for the breathing ground.

The unique forest floor activity has been described as everything from eerie and supernatural to unbelievable and quite unusual. It’s definitely abnormal and it raises a lot of questions, the main one being; what the heck is happening here? Mr. Nuttall put forth his own theory for the movement, centered around the strong winds blowing at the time.

He wrote in the comments, “I believe the larger trees are doomed to blow down but are currently spared, the smaller trees around them help hold each other up, as the wind pushes the trees into one another. The punishing prevailing winds have taken their toll on the side hill, the roots have loosened and the mossy ground from the once shaded forest floor are giving way, soon to be toppled over.”

His explanation seems to be the most logical and plausible one. Plus, he was the only witness present at the time and actually saw everything else near the moving area, so he is in the best position to make an educated guess. That doesn’t mean others haven’t put forth their own viewpoints and theories as to what could possibly be causing the ground to “breathe.”

Some people believe it to be the work of aliens or some type of supernatural entity that lives below the ground, and maybe it’ waking up. More scientific oriented explanations center around the possibility of there being water under the ground. Nova Scotia borders the Atlantic Ocean, so a few people posited that it could even be salty ocean water that’s to blame.

Then there are those who believe that it may be a sinkhole that’s beginning to form. And of course, as with every video that seems too strange and cannot be clearly explained right away, there is the crowd who say that the video is faked and photo-shopped.

Regardless of whatever may be causing the strange ground movement, it’s an awesomely weird sight to see. Check it out for yourself and then decide what you think it is…

Apparently THIS Is Why You Should Be Freezing All Your Lemons! I Had No Idea!

When life hands you lemons, put them in the freezer. That way you can easily grate them up later for a powerful, and tasty, health kick. The health benefits of lemons are mostly found in the skin and peel of the tangy little citrus fruits. I had no idea..

These are often lost when people eat them because only the juice and pulp get used and consumed. The skin and peel is almost always tossed or left aside because it tastes gross on its own. However, when you use every part of a lemon, skin and all, you can get between 5 and 10 times more the amount of vitamins and other health benefits out of them.

Lemons are a great source of vitamin C, as well as vitamins B6, A, and E, plus folate, calcium, copper, iron, zinc, magnesium, potassium, protein, riboflavin, niacin thiamin, and phosphorus. The yellow fruits also contain flavonoids and limonoids, which are powerful antioxidants with natural cancer fighting and prevention properties. Lemons have also been shown to help prevent diabetes, control high blood pressure, relieve indigestion and constipation, alleviate fevers, and reduce weight.

The citric acid in them helps to fight germs and bacteria and many people use them to clean and brighten their skin. When you eat a lemon you’re feeding your body so much more than just citrus juice and great flavor, but to truly gain all the health benefits from them you have to eat the entire fruit.

It follows that, in order to get all the health benefits out of a lemon, it works best to freeze it before using. First wash and clean the lemon well, then dry it off completely before sealing it in a resealable freezer bag, and place it in the freezer until it’s frozen solid. The simple reason why you should freeze it is because when a lemon is hard and solid it makes it much easier to grate.

You want to grate it, rather than slice or squeeze it, because a majority of the health benefits are found in the peel and skin. Most people use only the juice and pulp when they go to eat or cook with a lemon. Thus, by grating it you end up using the entire fruit and gain the most health benefits from it.

Once your lemon is frozen solid take it out of the freezer and cut off one of the ends to it is flat. Then begin begin grating it with the flat side against the grater, like you would a block of cheese. This makes it easier to hold steady and cuts down on the risk of it slipping while you’re shredding it up.

When you’re done, store the lemon gratings in a resealable container or use them to flavor dishes with. They won’t be overpowering when you add them to other food dishes. Instead, the lemony shreds compliment and bring out the other flavors and what you get is a very unique type of flavoring that differs from that of squeezing plain lemon juice on food.

Your mind, body, and palette will thank you, so spread this healthy tip and enjoy!

A Dog Was Drowning In The Raging Colombia Flash Floods. But Watch When The Cops Do THIS

This video captures the heart pounding moment that a dog was pulled from raging debris filled flood waters in Colombia. The lucky dog was spotted in the town of Salgar by the National Police of Colombia. He had fallen in the swollen Liboriana River and was in immediate danger of being swept away and drowned! The Officers ran along the bank and made several attempts to rescue him from the muddy, rubble, stone filled waters. Finally, on their third attempt they intercepted the battered and exhausted animal and managed to pull him out of the treacherous waters!

Once safely on shore, the police worked immediately to help revive the semi-conscious dog giving him CPR and, at one point, mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Their tireless and selfless efforts paid off with the dog surviving despite suffering minor injuries likely sustained from hitting rocks in the river.

He is expected to make a full recovery and is now referred to as “Prince” by the officers who saved him. The flash floods, heavy rains, and deadly mudslides in Colombia have been the worst natural disaster in over a decade. The officers risked their lives and health to save Prince, and deserve recognition for their unselfish, kind act of bravery. The National Police said that if his owner cannot be found, Prince is welcome to stay with them, and we bet he’d love that!

A Mountain Lion Approaches This House Cat. The Cat’s Reaction Is Hysterical!

In what may prove to be the most epic showdown in feline history, a ferocious house cat faces the formidable mountain lion in an unwavering display of courage. The lion does not seem to notice the face off, and seems more interested in playing, but the cat holds his ground and is not tricked by the obvious ploy to distract him!

The mountain lion, also known as the cougar or puma, is the second largest cat in the Americas, with the Jaguar snagging the top spot. At one time, they could be found throughout the western hemisphere, although their range has been significantly reduced due to human encroachment.

They are actually more closely related to the domestic house cat than they are to the other large felines. I secretly think the cat used its telepathic powers to summon the mountain lion in an escape attempt, but their plan was thwarted by the humans’ interference.  Tell us what you think in the comments.

A Birth Of An Orangutan Is Caught For The First Time. What She Does With The Baby Blew Me Away!

Birth and motherhood are among the greatest miracles life has produced. In this video, we receive for the FIRST TIME EVER the opportunity to observe firsthand the magic of birth and the tender caring of a mother Sumatran Orangutan for her baby. Never before has the birth of a Sumatran Orangutan been caught on tape. But its what the mother does after she gives birth that is the most touching. After cleaning off her baby with gentle care, she brings her pride and joy to the conservationist to show what an incredible life she has created..

The word orangutan comes from the Malay and Indonesian words orang, meaning “human” and hutan, meaning “forest”. So orangutan means “human of the forest”. They are arboreal, which means they spend most of their time in trees. Almost every night they create a new, elaborately designed nest made of branches and foliage in which to sleep. The beds can be very complex and may have foliage versions of mattress, pillows, blankets and roofs.

The orangutan is an endangered species of great ape found only in Asia, and is one of the most intelligent animals on the planet. They frequently use a wide range of tools for a variety of purposes, using as many as 74 distinct tools for gathering and preparing food. Culture, defined by Merriam-Webster as the “beliefs, customs, arts, etc. of a particular society, group, place or time” was once believed to be exclusive to the human race. We now know that the great apes have their own distinct cultures, with various groups having different skills and tools than other groups, and orangutans have been observed learning tool use from each other.

Orangutans are social-solitary, which means they have social interactions but the adults spend most of their time alone. The most dominant social bond is between a mother and her dependent offspring. They can live to be about 30 years old and the females generally have their first offspring when they are about 15 years old. Their gestation period lasts about 8 months and they have a very long interbirth interval, the amount of time between births, which can be anywhere from 6-9 years long.
