“WebMD” suggests that burning as little as 100 more calories per day will make an amazing difference in SHEDDING that EXTRA FAT that still lurks in your LOVE HANDLES. Simple things such as: (1) parking further from your destination and walking (2) washing your own car (3) taking the stairs instead of an escalator or elevator whenever you can (4) turning on some music in your house and dancing for 15 minutes (5) Drinking water instead of beverages that contain calories (6) Use mustard on your sandwich instead of mayo.

Bullying has been around for generations and generations.  In the case of children bullying other kids, you usually see this instinct stronger in children who have been abused or feel powerless in some way in their homes.  However, with the anonymity provided by the internet, kids and adults whom you would never think of being capable of bullying, express their anger in a vicious way that they would never do when face to face!

Whether bullying occurs in the schoolyard or on the internet, we who see it occurring need to stand up for the victims of this cruel behavior, that can cause a lifetime of psychological damage and even suicide!  It is estimated that nearly 70% of kids either experience bullying or witness it’s occurrence on a regular basis.  This translates into millions of kids going to school in a state of fear daily!

He Starts Rubbing A Raw Tomato Against a Cheese Grater. But The Reason Is Unexpectedly GENIUS!

I consider myself a “foodie” and what makes a dish outstandingly delicious for me, is when the taste is truly FRESH.  I enjoy preparing food for myself and my family, but I don’t want to spend  hours cooking…it just leaves me exhausted and without an appetite.

Most people enjoy a simple pasta and tomato sauce, and have great memories (if you are Italian) of Grandma’s Sunday dinners. They always included a marinara sauce (for the pasta) that had to be stirred and simmered for hours to reach the peak of perfection.

I am always looking online for simple recipes that use really fresh ingredients, and can be completed quickly.  When I came across the video that you are about to watch below, Food & Wine’s Justin Chapple astounded me, with a way to make a fantastically fresh, delicious tomato sauce that requires NO COOKING!

All you need is a box grater and ripe, good quality tomatoes. The bonus is that the grater actually saves you from having to peel the tomato.  Watch Justin, add a few ingredients to enhance the taste and consistency, and then pour it on the cooked pasta.

When I watched his preparation, which he does with such simple pleasure that exudes his love of fresh food, I was inspired.  I made it last night for my husband and kids and all I could hear was a resounding Yummmmm!

Animal Adopts THIS Unlikely Orphaned Baby. What They Look Like Years Later Is An Unexpected Surprise!

The depth of compassion that one animal has for another, when they come from different species,  never fails to amaze me.  The touching video you are about to watch below, tells the story of little Poncho the opossum, whose mom was killed by a car, when he was just a newborn.

Poncho was found by animal rescuers, as the tiny infant clung to his dead mother’s side, after she had been hit by the car.  In fragile condition, and an unlikely chance of survival, little Poncho was lucky to be found.  Receiving veterinary attention, he was nursed back to health, but the sweet little guy was still a motherless child…until Hantu came along.

A most unlikely surrogate mom, the white German Shepherd had never had pups of her own.  It seemed like her need to nurture met with Ponchu’s need for a mother figure, and a bond was formed.  Ponchu clung onto to Hantu’s side just as he had with his mother!  The two brought comfort and happiness to each other.

To this day, years later, they are still inseparable!  Though bigger, Poncho still clings to Hantu’s side as they take walks in the woods. This is truly a sight to behold.

Some of them, like the tannin tellimagrandin and the flavanol morin, are exceedingly rare and hard to find in foods. A few other antioxidants have even amazed researchers because they have proven to be so extremely powerful at combating free radicals.

Even though the tasty nuts are high in fat, they can help to control and maintain weight over time. People report feeling more full and for longer periods of time after eating them. They also can lead to improved reproductive health in men by improving overall sperm quality.
