This 6-year-old German Shepherd/Border Collie mix has chops…musical chops that is! Sadie was saved from the animal shelter in 2009. When her humans rescued her there was no way they could predict her unprecedented talent. Her owners, who live in Edmonton, had no idea she was a musical “virtuoso”.
Okay, maybe it’s a stretch calling her a virtuoso, but by dog standards of musicality she is impressive. As her owner encourages her, Sadie’s posture and paw playing show incredible intelligence and coordination. I really don’t think I have ever seen a dog with this much musical skills…
She has that “it” quality that true performers embody. Adorably she hides her snout when she feels she’s made a mistake that truly only she could sense. Her owner lovingly encourages her, “It’s okay, try again,” and so she does. Enjoy this clever video and don’t miss the finale where Sadie takes a bow!

Eric The Legend lives up to his name because he is actually a living legend. His crazy antics and insane behavior earned him the title and once you see him in action in this video, it will all make sense why even he calls himself a “*beep*ing legend!” First and foremost, Eric is a Cockatoo. The parrot sub-species is known for being loud-mouthed but Eric takes the noisiness and cranks it up to a whole other level.
He screeches and screams when things don’t go his way and that’s precisely what is happening in this clip. The pretty little bird was looking forward to going outside for his daily walk but rainy weather put a damper on his plans. When his mom told him that he had to stay in, he freaked out and threw a major temper tantrum!
Rather than remain calm and bird on, Eric decided to go on a destructive rampage. He took a bunch of coins and one by one he threw them off the shelf with his beak with a hysterical attitude. They dropped noisily to the floor below and no matter how many times his owner scolded and warned him not to do it anymore, he kept on going! He stomped wildly back and forth, squawking and making a big mess for his mom to pick up. Even the threats that his owner makes about her getting ‘the scary fish’ didn’t slow him down!
Eric is definitely the most entertaining Cockatoo in all of Australia, which is where he lives with his adoring mom and dad. According to Eric’s owner, he thrives on routine and any deviation from the normal flow of things really ticks him off. Since his walks involve gathering local flowers, seeds, and nuts, not going on his walk also meant missing out on his fresh tasty snack. Poor Eric, not only was he already upset about staying inside all day, he was getting hungry too!

For thousands of years cats and dogs have been at war, while both being the closest human allies on planet earth. The war has been over petting time, sleeping areas, and table food. The reasons behind their dislike for one another have been scientifically studied and glorified in pop culture movie, books and of course the internet.
In the wild, Lions and Hyenas are mortal enemies, while Wolves battle with Wildcats. Now, when we take these two species and bring them into our human houses, that’s when things can really start to get out of control. In the wild, the canines and the felines would rather avoid each other if possible, but in the confined walls of a house instinctual tensions are sure to rise.
In the following video, a naughty dog tries to steal some tasty treats. He formulates a plan and goes for the gold. Little does he know, he is in for a huge surprise. She Tries To Naturally Communicate and Cuddle With This Grumpy Pig. His Response Is HILARIOUS!

Pigs are some of the most intelligent animals on the planet. Not only are they smart, but they are filled with personality. Meet a very funny pig, who may be just a slight bit grumpy. His human tries to communicate and cuddle with this adorable grumpster, but this piggy let’s her know how she feels about cuddles.
According to her human he likes Oreos, pho, and dog bones but when it comes to cuddling, don’t try it, unless he is in the mood! This big grumpy adorable baby is almost too much to handle. I feel like my heart is going to explode from his big goofy cuteness! This pig communicates in it’s native tongue, with hilarious grunts and displeased grumbling.
It really is amazing how much of a personality these pigs have. I’d love to have one of these big cuddle bugs but I think he might just be a tad too much work. He is definitely a bit extra but I’d love to see him when he’s out of his grumpy mood and into his cuddle mood!

He Told His Dog To ‘Play Dead’. But What He Proceeds To Do Made Me Spit My Drink Out!

There have been countless videos of animals pretending to play dead out there on the internet. Some do it to avoid taking a bath and, more commonly, others do it for treats. Whatever the reason it is almost always adorable to see and enjoyable for everyone involved. The dog gets to please its human and work for a reward while people seeing it get to smile.
A beautiful German Shepherd named Sam performs one flawless performance of this age old trick and it may be the best version out there! Sam’s rendition of playing dead is on par with what a professional canine actor would be expected to deliver. Her owner asks if she wants a treat and naturally she perks up with anticipation and goes towards him.
He tells her to stay and she obliges by sitting on her hind quarters with her two front paws dangling in the air, looking absolutely loveable. Then he backs up a few steps and says “BANG!” Right on cue Sam lets out a yelp as if she really has been shot and turns dramatically around in mock distress while going down on the floor.
She rolls over onto her back and puts all four paws up in the air, then looks proudly over at the camera. She has the trick down to an art and the yelp she adds is what places her above the competition. The trick is not done in vain as the owner then gives her a treat for doing such an excellent job. This puppy needs a role where she can showcase her acting skills and good-looking face.
She definitely has the most original and dramatic version of the playing dead trick I have ever seen!

He Was So Broken Over His Poached Rhino That He Did THIS. The Result Is I Now Believe In Miracles

Park rangers in South Africa found three rhinos brutally hacked and left to die by poachers who were after their horns. Luckily, two rhinos were found alive and given the names Themba and Thandi. Themba, a male, managed to survive 24 days before he succumbed to weakness and drowned while getting a drink at the watering hole.
His plight touched rescuers deeply and they wish to let the world know and see what these animals are going through. Thandi, a female, fought hard for her life and slowly recovered. She was the only one to make it through and live.
Three years after the brutal attack Thandi had become pregnant and was due to give birth to a young calf. When photographer and filmmaker Adrian Stein found this out he quickly went to find her in the bush at the Kariega Game Reserve on the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
He had been documenting her journey since the attack and wanted to capture Thandi’s pregnancy. The story of her plight was widely followed and had since become a national inspiration. Rangers accompanying Stein tracked Thandi down and when they first caught sight of her a little calf was standing by her side. She had given birth shortly before their arrival to a healthy baby whom they named Hope.
This touching story will hopefully be a catalyst for change and promote action to bring an end to the brutal attacks inflicted on these endangered animals and others like them. Currently there are less than about 25,000 wild African rhinos in existence and this baby, what she stands for and her survival, are vital to their recovery.
The mother and child have already inspired many people to take action, and if their story is spread, it can only promote more awareness, understanding and conservation efforts.
