She Decides To Kick A Sleeping Dog At The Beach. Now Watch How He Gets His Unexpected Revenge!

Ahhhh the patience of dogs!  Many dogs are notoriously patient when it comes to playing with kids.  Young kids can be pesky; pulling on ears, riding them like a pony, constant petting that gets annoying, screeching  and in the case of this little girl, pushing with her foot.

Laying on the beach in the sand with her two boxer pals, this young girl (who appears to be six or seven), keeps pushing her foot into the belly of one of the dogs.  He just lays there and takes it, until her pushy foot may have become too “pushy”!  This was captured on video as the barefoot, squirmy girl persisted.

What happens next is hysterically funny.  The dog has had enough and starts doing a typical dog thing that stopped the girl’s foot from nudging him in the stomach. I don’t think she meant any harm, but may not have realized that her belly pushing may have felt like a kick!  She was definitely taught a lesson by her pup, that she won’t forget!

Watch this laugh-out-loud footage to see her reaction.

These Singers Went To The Forest To Record A Folk Song. But Then Some Unexpected Visitors Join In!

This is one of those moments that you could only wish for, but could never be orchestrated.  On tour, folk singer Shawn James and his crew were in Colorado.  It was one of those beautiful, tranquil snows, when they decided to go to the W.O.L.F Sanctuary.

When they got there, they decided to sing in the snow-laden woods, and use it for a cover of of A.A. Bondy’s “American Hearts.”  Beginning with the lyric, “We were raised by wolves / And we are still wild / And we howl when the troubled wind blows”, the wooded scene with wolves wandering in the background, was perfect.

That being said, they never could have imagined that their harmony during the refrain, would evoke choral support from their audience…the wolves!  Believe it or not, scientific analyses of wolves have shown that they have a sense of pitch. When they have been recorded, upon careful listening, each wolf that joins the chorus changes it’s tone slightly.  They seem to revel in the discordancy.

In this incredible video, the wolves contribution literally sounds like the third part of the harmony for the refrain.  Usually canines respond by howling to high pitched sounds from wind instruments, violins or a soprano singer.

Rarely do they respond to strumming guitars or the dulcet tones of two male folk singers!   In the following footage, they literally joined in during the two-part harmony more than once, and not during the lyric.

Their echoing howls make beautiful music and create a video that these musicians will never forget.  You will find their chorus, that reaches an amazing crescendo, simply awe-inspiring.  It will give you chills!

She Drives By A Dog Chained Outside In Extreme Weather. Then She Writes THIS And Changes Everything

We see stories of terrible inhumane treatment of animals every day on the internet.  We shed a tear, agree on how terrible it is, and praise those who do something to rescue abused animals.  There is something we can all do, as Bluegrass singer and song writer Donna Hughes has highlighted in her heart wrenching song, “One Less Dog In the Cold”.

She was inspired by all the dogs she passed chained outside for much of their lives, regardless of how freezing or broiling the weather.  Her haunting lyrics and melody which you will hear in the video below, should be an anthem for animal rescue.

Her lyrics speak of remorse for having passed these dogs so many times, and has written this song to raise awareness to “HELP UNCHAIN DOGS TODAY…DON’T LOOK THE OTHER WAY”.  ‘Every dog is a window to your soul’ and it can be said that in ignoring these tortured animals, we lose a little bit of our souls.  This is a song that we leave you with deep feelings.

I found myself needing to listen to it several times.

He Grabs A Very Strange Looking Egg. What Pops Out Is The Most Unexpected Surprise!

Baby tortoises are known as hatchlings.  Like all other species, two babies can form in one egg; the twins in the upcoming video, were the hatchlings of a Western Hermann tortoise.  As the tortoise was giving birth at the Garden State Tortoise Center, it’s founder, Chris Leone, noticed that the larger of the two hatchlings was struggling.

The two babies were sharing the same yolk sac and couldn’t detach.  Although intervening in such circumstances is not the usual go-to for Leone, he made a judgement call when observing the struggle that was occurring.  He felt that neither twin would survive without help separating.  It was necessary to wait for the yolk sac to be absorbed before he could intervene.

The procedure he used is a very delicate one.  Watching him, (with the aid of an assistant to hold the hatchlings still), use a piece of unwaxed plain dental floss to help them to naturally detach, was amazing.  The video below shows them doing so, in an incubator, after being placed on moist paper towels.  Within a few days they were able to separate.  They were eating and drinking well. These adorable little twins are thriving, thanks to Leone’s good judgement call.

Baby Begins Crying For Help. What They Caught On Camera Next Is An Unexpected Surprise!

When it comes to emotional bonds, there is nothing stronger than a mother’s love for her child. Moms will do anything to make their children happy and keep them safe. Sometimes it’s like they have a 6th sense for knowing what their kids are up to and how they are feeling.

This isn’t just limited to human mothers, it can be seen in actions and behaviors across practically every animal species all around the world. Take for example fruit bats. When one mother fruit bat somehow became separated from her baby she vigilantly kept up her search for the poor youngster.

Luckily, a local Singaporean animal charity called ACRES came across the stranded baby and helped it out. The youngster had been lost and on its own for at least 2 hours and the group believed that its mother was still close by and around somewhere.

They moved the tiny bat to an open, outdoor, protected place where its mother could more easily locate it, and then stepped back and waited for her to come. The group was correct in their assumption and the lost bats mother came very quickly once they relocated it.

Bats are blind and so the mother had to rely on the babies cries to locate it, and this mother took just a minute or two to track it down. In the clip you can see the adorable tiny bat crying out for help and its mother, then moments later she swoops down and envelops her baby in her wings.

The pair maneuver around and it looks like the youngster is having trouble flying. That’s when mom rolls over and hooks her baby onto her, then she takes off and the pair fly away into the night! The poor mother fruit bat was probably worried sick about the lost baby and was looking for it the whole time during the two hours they were apart.

It all makes for a wonderful story, complete with a happy, feel-good ending. The video is further testament to the undeniable love and connection between mothers and their babies. Watch the video below and enjoy the wonders of nature!

When He Looked Down and Saw This Snake He Noticed Something Very Strange. Can You See It?

A wildlife amateur photographer, Sjoerd van Berge Henegouwen, 48, was on vacation traveling in Masai Mara in Kenya.  He could sight of what he thought was a 20 inch snake on the side of the road, and was able to snap some pictures and video of it before it slithered back into the grasses.

After looking at his pictures carefully, the curious wildlife adventurer, did some research on the images he had captured.  Upon looking more closely at what he thought was a snake, he picked up on details that could only belong to a lizard.

This reptile had four tiny legs and a notched tongue that you will see in the following video.  These characteristics differentiated the creature as a lizard rather than a snake. This reclusive skink lizard was thought to be extinct!

The Dutch photographer couldn’t find pictures to compare it to, so he decided to post it on Facebook.  He was inundated with requests from wildlife experts who verified that, he had in fact, found the first living specimen in many many years, of a Western Serpentiform skink that had long been thought to be extinct.

This amazing and rare find is fascinating to view in the following footage. Please let us know what you think of this very important find of this really strange creature. I know I’ve never seen anything like this, have you?
