Jimmy Asks Sofia Vargara To Suck In Helium. When She Starts Talking It’s The Funniest Thing.

When you inhale helium from a balloon and talk, expect to sound kind of like a chipmunk! Many of us have fond childhood memories of sucking on a helium filled balloon and saying whatever came to mind. We just wanted to hear what our voices sounded like and it was always hilarious and so much fun. If you’ve never tried it before, then you’re missing out on one of life’s little joys.

This funny video clip from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is the perfect case in point. He was interviewing none other than the beautiful and talented actress Sofia Vergara when he suddenly pulled out a big red balloon filled to the max with helium. If you’ve ever seen the show you know how ridiculous and silly Jimmy can get.

He’s had his guests play everything from Charades to Egg Russian Roulette and participate in dance offs, slow jams, games of flip cup, and so much more. On this particular episode, Jimmy told Sofia how he thought it’d be awesome just to hear her talk on helium and he was right! Her accent + Helium = Fun and Entertainment.

The first thing he asked her to say was “My name is Sofia Vergara.” After she inhaled from the big red balloon she opened her mouth to speak and managed to say “my name” before she immediately started cracking up. The sound of her suddenly high-pitched voice surprised her and the crowd loved it. After repeating the full phrase she couldn’t help but comment about how good the helium made her English sound and she was right because it seemed to give her less of an accent.

Then Jimmy asked her to say something in Spanish for all of the Spanish speaking viewers watching, before he finally told her to say one last thing, “Ben Roethlisberger.” Accent or no accent, the football player’s name is already quite difficult to pronounce, but the way it rolled off her tongue all jumbled up from the helium made it sound so darn funny. You just have to hear her say it!

Sofia was such a great sport throughout the entire thing and she kept going back for more helium like she couldn’t get enough! The audience clearly enjoyed the whole bit as well, and of course Jimmy was as entertaining as he always is. Check it out for a good laugh and pass it on!

She Places A Doily On Top Of This Balloon. When She’s Done a STUNNING Surprise!

I remember my grandmother having doilies on the armrests of her chairs and couches back in the day.  I must say that they always had an old-fashioned connotation in my mind.  But as we see over and over, through the incredible creations that we are privy to on the internet, old things can be used in new ways.

The DIY video you are about to watch below, introduces a way to use doilies in a modern romantic way.  Sarah, from Socraftastic, shows us how easy it is to make a lace -patterned lantern to create a beautiful ambiance in any room in your home.

Giving some romance to lighting can turn an ordinary room into something special. To construct this DOILY LANTERN you will need Doilies, a balloon, petroleum jelly, a mixture of Elmer’s glue, water and flour, and a light kit.

Watch how Sarah blows up the balloon, rubs the balloon with petroleum jelly, for initial adherence for covering the ballon with the doilies, and then see how she uses the glue mixture to paint on the doilies.  When all is dry, she pops the balloon and inserts the light bulb and VOILA!  With a flip of the switch you have a beautiful doily lantern.

Watch the tutorial to see this creation, that is nothing short of gorgeous.

I Was Confused When She Was Painting Glitter On A Balloon. But Then She Pops It For An Unexpected Surprise!

If you are a crafty type of person who enjoys doing all sorts of do-it-yourself things then you likely have a lot of extra craft items on hand, especially glitter. Glitter is the perfect material that adds a little extra flair to practically anything.

It usually doesn’t take much, perhaps even just a pinch will do, to take something from boring to wow with the help of a little sprinkle of glitter. As such, if you have an abundance of different colored and textured glitter on hand you can easily use it up with this awesome glitter bowl project.

It’s a simple and neat craft idea that anyone can do and the perfect way to spend quality time with friends, family, and especially young children. It will get them away from TV and the internet and more involved with creating homemade things.

All this project requires is 2 cups of glitter, 1 cup of Mod Podge, a balloon, a paintbrush, and a bowl. Start by mixing up the glitter and Mod Podge together in a bowl so that they are well blended. Blow up the balloon, tie it off, and place it in the bowl with the tie facing down to give it stability and keep it in place.

Paint the glitter mixture onto the balloon surface, making sure to coat it as evenly as possible. Paint half of the balloon to make a bowl shape, or try out different designs. You can customize the bowl, such as by scalloping the edges or making it curve in uneven, distinct ways.

When you have finished painting the balloon set it aside and allow it to completely dry for at least 24 hours. When the time is up you can turn it over, pop the balloon, and remove any of the leftover rubber or latex pieces that may be sticking to the inside of the bowl .

You will be left with a soft, custom made, glittery bowl that is perfect for use as a catch-all. These glitter bowls are not the most durable or strongest bowls but they can hold a variety of little things. You can use them in the bathroom to hold hair ties and clips or whatnot.

They come in handy when placed in a location where things tend to accumulate, such as near the sink or an entrance. They make great holders for knick knacks and spare change as well. Alternatively, you can stretch one of them over an existing, harder bowl to give it a new and updated look.

There are many more ideas and uses for these neat and easy glitter bowls, and maybe you have the perfect use in mind for them. Check out the tutorial to see exactly how it is done and try it yourself!
