This Fluffy Cat Tries Ice Cream For The First Time Then He Proceeds To Make The Most Hysterical Face!

There is nothing tastier on a hot day then some delicious ice cream. The one problem we have all faced before is that deadly ice-cream headache/brain freeze which happens when we eat our delicious snack too fast. I know I have been a victim to the ice cream headache many times and will probably experience it again this summer.

An ice-cream headache, or  its scientific name sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia, is a form of headache which occurs during quick consumption of a cold food or beverage.  The ice-cream headache happens when something very cold touches the palate and is believed to result from a nerve response causing rapid constriction and swelling of blood vessels.

In the following video a hilarious cat feasts on ice cream for the very first time. He begins scarfing it down at a rapid pace but then suddenly stops and has the funniest reaction ever! I had to watch this multiple times it is just too classic! We’ve all been there little guy, keep your head up!

Nobody Believed Her When She Described Her Cat’s Nightly Ritual. So She Captured THIS

It is hard to imagine a world where adorable, funny and highly entertaining cat videos were once scarce. What has now taken the internet by storm barely existed about 20 years ago outside of the America’s Funniest Home Video sector. While many cat videos have come and gone, there are several that stand the test of time. Here is a classic YouTube video originally uploaded back in the day in September of 2008 by user hkbecky.

She captured what has arguably become one of the Internets best videos ever to feature cats. Her two feline companions, Goo and Yat Jai, are seen playing a game of patty cake atop her computer desk. She explains that they always play the popular activity that is a memorable childhood favorite. They stand facing each other and touch paws intermittently on and off. When they sense that their owner is filming they cease all play, but they are right back at it when they think that she is no longer looking.

Now fast forward about two years to November of 2010. That is when fellow YouTube user JC Elliot posted his version of the infamous original. He translated the cats actions into human-speak and gives us his imagined version of what they were actually saying. He thought up the perfect narrative and added in a voice-over. The result is a hilarious, and perfectly on point, rendition of a game of “cattycake,” as it has come to be known. See for yourself how awesome, cute, and perfect it is!

Video: Newborn Pitbull Puppy Was About To Die. But Then This Cat Did Something Unbelievable!

A one day old puppy was found abandoned, fly covered, and all alone in a garage. With no mother around and no time to spare the baby pit bull mix was brought to the Animal Protective League Shelter in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon the little black and white puppies arrival an assembled team treating him had to quickly determine what his best options for recovery were. They decided to try and place him with a stray cat who had just given birth two days earlier at the shelter. The two were carefully introduced and almost immediately the mama cat sniffed and nuzzled the tiny dog. Her affection and acceptance were clear and from then on the puppy had a new mother.

The video clip here shows the happy part of this incredible story. Noland, the puppy, and his feline mother, Lurlene, can be seen snuggling together along with the other four now-sibling-kittens. They look so warm and cozy all curled up in one big fur ball. It is a touching testament to the love and affection that a mother has for her babies and for ones she adopts. The maternal instinct seems to know no boundaries for this mama cat. She lovingly took in a puppy right beside her own kittens, watching over and nurturing them all.

The cutest part of the video is when the foster mother/volunteer is feeding Noland and Lurlene is right by her side watching over her new son. She looks so concerned about him and like she wants to be part of the additional feeding that the growing puppy needs. When she licks and paws at him while he is in the lap of the volunteer it seems like she is saying to her new baby ‘I’m right here, don’t worry.’ It melted my heart to see that!

Update to this story: Noland’s mother was found chained, emaciated and too scared to care for her puppy and the owner was convicted of animal neglect. Noland thrived and stayed with his new cat family in a foster home until he was too big whereupon he was placed with puppy litter. All the cats and dogs were eventually adopted, even Noland’s mother. The story got the shelter national attention and won them a Petco Foundation Grant worth $25,000. All this because one mother cat’s love for a puppy in need.

Video: Cat Gets His Teeth Brushed For The First Time. What The Camera Caught Is Hilarious!

Even if the only thing your cat hunts these days is tasty treats, toy mousies and catnip, he still needs healthy clean teeth and gums.  Damage to your cats teeth, palate, tongue and gums can extend into other health risks for your cat.  The good news is, this can be prevented by brushing your cats teeth!

The ASPCA recommends doing a breath test, go on take a sniff of your cat’s breath.  If  your cat’s breath has an extremely strong odor he may have a digestive disorder or gingivitis.  They also recommend pulling back your cats lips and inspecting their gums.  Make sure their gums are a nice coral pink.  They should not be white, red, or swollen.

In the hilarious video below, a cat gets his teeth brushed for the first time by his human.  Somehow, he loves it and even grabs for the toothbrush with his paw to place it in his mouth.  Then as he is getting those pearly whites clean, he has an epiphany.  He gets a far off look in his eyes, and it seems as if his mind has just been blown!  Maybe he is pondering the meaning of life or Stephen Hawking’s theory of everything.  Either way, this video is absolutely hilarious and I can’t stop laughing at that face. Enjoy! 🙂

Tiny Kitten Sneaks Up On Huge St. Bernard For The First Time. The Dog’s Reaction Is Priceless!

Warning: Cuteness Overload!! This gentle giant was recently filmed trying his best to get a little shut eye. The large St. Bernard’s efforts appear fruitless as his tiny kitten friend prances around his head and pounces on his paws. While the kitten wants a partner to play with, the dog would rather not be dealing with such tomfoolery at the moment.

The video was uploaded to YouTube by Vladlena Tkachenko from Russia. Her St. Bernard dog rolls his eyes and looks around as he patiently puts up with the kitten’s licks and pawing. Eventually the cats playfulness proves to much for him, so he puts his paw down- literally. His paw traps the furry little kitten and for a moment all one can see is her wriggling backside. The kitty quickly gets free and goes right back to annoying his friend.

It is always heart warming to see such animal friendships. These two are already getting along peacefully and the kitten likely sees her canine companion as a big fluffy playmate and snuggle buddy. We hope to see more of these two in the future!

He Couldn’t Focus With Cats Taking Over His Work Space. His Solution? Brilliant!

Screen Shot 2jkkj015-07-02 at 1.40.16 PM

The old saying “curiosity killed the cat” can be modified into “a cat’s curiosity killed people’s production levels,” for humans trying to get work done around them. Our four legged furry feline friends love nothing more than to stick their pink little noses into everything they come across. Many feel the urge to inspect whatever new object or nook and cranny that catches their fancy. A lot of the time cats want to be right by the side of their human companion, no matter what they may be doing. This seems to be especially true when working at home at a desk area, on a computer, and when a person is in the middle of doing something that needs to get done.

If you suffer from feline induced work struggles then check out this video from the YouTube kitties over at Cole and Marmalade on “How to survive working with cats!” They offer some great insights and tips on kitty management for beginners. First off, you need to always keep a spare chair close by and handy; one for you and one for fluffy. Next, always provide comfortable, and appealing sleeping spots. Any cardboard box will do, just place it at an elevated spot because cats like to be higher up so they can better look down on us. Be sure to cover up and tape down any wires that are hanging around and dangling down because a cat will feel the need to bite and claw at them. When you go to print important documents be quick, alert, diligent, and ready to snatch them as soon as the printer spits them out. If you fail to do this then you better be prepared to re-print the paper because the cat will in all likelihood have promptly destroyed it.

The most important thing you should practice is keeping all liquids and drinks in spill proof containers. Nothing could be worse than having coffee or some sticky, sugary drink getting knocked over and spilling onto electronics or a stack of papers. When all else fails, you need a break, or need to lure the cat away, take some tasty treats and strategically place them where desired. A cat will have no choice but to go to where the treats are and this will work every time. Another idea is to create a cat-free zone by separating and isolating yourself. Get creative with how you go about this and if all attempts fail you may have to shake that treat bag again. Check out the video for more adorable information and we hope these tips work to help improve those special moments spent working with kitty!
