This Boy Picks Up A Huge Strange Looking Stingray But Seconds Later The Unthinkable Occurs!

This incredible footage shows the moment that an unlikely surrogate helped a pregnant stingray deliver her 12 little babies. The birthing assistant just so happened to be an Australian boy who has a passion for all things nature. Miller Wilson, who is 12 years young, recently went with his family to visit his favorite spot for hunting and trapping sting rays, along the banks of a mangrove creek.

His natural ability at catching the fish is evident and after a short walk along the water’s edge he returned to his kayak and saw a stingray laying on the bank. He picked it up and immediately noticed that it was fatter than normal. Miller then adorably asked “You OK?” as he gently stoked it and went on to comment that “I don’t know if she’s either pregnant and she’s come up here to have babies or whether she’s just beached herself…we’ll have to see.”

He turned it over to check it out and that’s when he noticed a little baby stingray coming out of its underside! The stingray was definitely pregnant and in the midst of giving birth. Miller helped it along and gently pulled the babies out one by one as he exclaimed “Look at that, aren’t they just adorable? Wow! Look how cute that is!”

By the end of it all the stingray mama had 12 newborns to take care of and Wilson says that two days later he saw the family swimming near the same spot.

An event like this taking place in the wild has rarely ever been witnessed by humans, let alone in this type of fashion. Thankfully Miller knew how to properly handle the fish and what he was doing, and he made it clear that none of the stingrays in the video were harmed or injured.

He also warned that other people should not try this because the barbs that stingrays have on their tails are very dangerous and can injure or kill a person. Check it out and witness one of nature’s miracles taking place, with the help of an awesome 12 year old boy who loves and appreciates all of it.

He Plays With A Very Strange Friend. Once I Realized It Was The Most Unexpected Surprise!

Friendship between humans and animals has been occurring since the dawn of humanity, but every once in a while, a friendship comes along that is so unusual you just have to see it to believe it. The boy in this video has built such a close friendship with this stingray that it seems to enjoy letting him pet it and even eats out of his hand!

Stingrays come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, making up the eight families of stingray species.  The largest species is the manta ray, which is part of the eagle ray family. They can be over 20 feet wide and weigh close to 3,000 pounds!

The stingray in this video is most likely not a manta ray, as it lacks the distinctive cephalic fins near the mouth that make the manta look like it has horns, earning it the name sea-devil or devilfish in some parts of the world.

Stingrays are rarely aggressive, but many species do have a poisonous stinger that is most often used in defense when the ray is threatened. This happens most often for humans when they inadvertently step on one. Here’s a helpful tip: if you are wading in shallow ocean water where stingrays are known to live, walk with a shuffling step and you will likely scare them away instead of stepping on them!

Dad and Daughter Were Parasailing Over The Ocean. What They Caught On Cam Is An Unexpected Surprise!

For one father and daughter, what began as a leisurely parasailing adventure quickly turned into a bird’s eye view of something few ever get the chance to see! While they are flying high, they notice a huge number of what look like small dots just under the surface of the water. The driver of the boat notices as well, and lines them up for the perfect video shot. As they are lowered back towards the boat, the “small dots” become a massive group of enormous stingrays!

What you are witnessing is likely the migration of the poisonous golden cow-nosed stingray, which gets its name from the two horn-like protuberances at the front of their bodies, which can be seen in the video if you look closely. Twice a year, they migrate through the Gulf of Mexico for feeding and mating.

Each stingray can be over 6 feet wide, and there may be up to 10,000 rays in this group! Stingrays, although many are poisonous to humans, are docile creatures. They attack only when threatened, usually when stepped on.

They are more likely to be threatened by their relatives the sharks, who also happen to be their main predator. And you thought your family was rude! Let us know what you think about this incredible video in the comments.

He Catches A Stingray and Is About To Throw It Back. But When He Presses On Its Belly THIS Came Out

A fisherman caught a Stingray by accident and pulled it on the boat.  He was about to throw it back and release it when he noticed something strange.  He presses on the Stingray’s abdomen and out popped a baby Stingray! It is possible that the stingray went into shock because of being caught, which induced rapid labor.

If one baby stingray wasn’t enough a whole litter of adorable Stingray pups came out.  After the fisherman became a midwife/obgyn for the Stingray he acted fast and released the three family members back into the water.  They all seemed to swim away and the fisherman got the surprise of a lifetime.

Nature never ceases to amaze me.  Just when you think you have seen it all a video like this comes along and changes everything.  Have you ever seen anything like this?  let us know in the comments.
