When it comes to cars and maintaining them, many people are clueless about what to do or even where to start. Lots of things demand our attention from washing and waxing the paint job to changing the tires and oil. Some of the upkeep is easy and can be done by anyone, while other things are best left to a mechanic. This video falls in the former category and shows how anyone can clean their car’s headlights with just some toothpaste, a bottle of warm water, paper towels, and a bit of wax..
For obvious reasons, headlights are an essential part of any vehicle, and the cleaner they are the better you can see and be seen by other drivers. When headlights turn hazy and dirty, as they inevitably become over time, the light output from the bulbs ends up getting diffused. This makes the light beams appear dimmer, weaker, and therefore less effective. The lights end up covering a reduced area ahead and pose a potential safety hazard, which is the last thing anyone wants because driving is already dangerous enough.
If you noticed that your vehicle’s headlights have this issue then you have to try this quick and easy method to clean the plastic covering. This fix will work if your headlights are yellowing on the outside, pitted, and not smooth. If your car’s headlight is smooth on the outside, it won’t work.
You’ll need to use a type of toothpaste with a gritty texture to it, such as the ones that contain baking soda and peroxide or a whitening version. It’s also important to not use any gel formulas because only pastes work and if you need more grit try adding baking soda to it.
Start by rubbing a generous amount of toothpaste onto the headlight and to keep your hands clean you can use a toothbrush. Work it in really well and soon after the paste should begin to turn yellow as dirt and grime start to come off onto the brush. Next, grab a spray bottle filled with warm water and spray the light, then rub it off with a paper towel.
Apply a fair amount of pressure while buffing it away and when you’re almost done grab a clean paper towel to remove the last of the residue. Finish it off by applying a smidgen of wax to the headlight and wait for it to completely dry before buffing it all off. The wax will form a protective layer over the now clean light and help keep it from becoming yellow again so soon.
The older and more yellow the light, the longer you’ll need to rub the toothpaste into it. If the light is still hazy or you feel that it needs to be cleaner, simply apply more toothpaste and try again. The best part about this technique is it costs maybe a dollar or so, but if you have a tube on hand that’s the right kind of toothpaste then it’ll only cost you a few cents.
In comparison, store bought headlight restoration kits sell from anywhere between $15-25 so this is by far the cheapest way to clean them. Hopefully this trick will work for you and help to restore your car’s headlights to their former clear and shiny glory!

Man Takes A Pregnancy Test As A Joke But Didn’t Know It Would It Would Accidentally Discover His Cancer.

Every once in a while you come across a story that is truly a real miracle. A reddit user whose name is Cappnpoopdeck thought it would be a hysterical joke to pee on his x-girlfriend’s pregnancy tests she had left in his bathroom. He took the pregnancy test urinated on it and to his surprise the test came back positive saying that indeed he was pregnant. He was confused and couldn’t understand how this was possible! What started out as a funny gag to mess with his x-girlfriend actually ended up saving this lucky man’s life.
Right after Cappnpoopdeck got word from fellow Redditors he immediately rushed over to his doctor. During the exam the doctor found a testicular-tumor! If he never peed on this little stick, he probably would’ve died at such a young age. Thank god for the internet, which on this day happened to save this guy’s life!
So with all the craziness on the internet these days, there is still amazing miracles that can happen! This is something everyone should be aware of. As it turns out pregnancy tests look for raised levels of HCG, which is a hormone produced by pregnant women and some men (not all) with testicular-cancer!
After I read this story, it inspired me to do some more research to find out why the same thing shows up in the placenta and when someone has cancer. In my research, I found out an important piece of information that may help this tool be used in a more effective manner.
Although it is accurate that many testicular-tumors do produce this marker, due to the wide variance of tumors and types of cancer, IT DOES NOT HAPPEN IN EVERY CASE. So if you think you might be sick or have cancer ALWAYS go see your doctor and don’t rely on a pregnancy test.
I had no idea that a pregnancy test could be such a lifesaver! The intended use of the test is very beneficial on its own, allowing countless women to determine if they are pregnant without ever having to go see a doctor. But who knew it would have another use that could be just as helpful, and even save lives.
However, taking the test and getting a negative result does not guarantee that a person is cancer-free, and it certainly does not substitute going to the doctor at regular intervals and performing regular self checks. If you suffer from mathematical anxiety, which is basically like a math-induced phobia, you may want to take a deep breath before you try to solve this problem. The seemingly simple equation below has managed to stump people left and right and social media users are divided over what the correct answer happens to be. Watch the video below to see a step by step tutorial on getting to the right answer and seeing if you actually solved it correctly. Take a moment to work through it yourself and see what answer you come up with:

The vast majority of people end up with an answer of either 1 or 9. Some even think it is 0, 3, or even 6, but if you came up with any of those three numbers, you’re wrong and way off! However, the reason why 9 and 1 are given as the main answers for this problem comes down to how people were taught to do math. However, in the end only one answer can be correct and if you came up with 9 then congratulations, you solved it!
So why has this equation caused so much confusion that its managed to go viral!? If you completely botched the answer or failed to come up with the correct solution, don’t be too hard on yourself. Forgetting how to do math problems like this one is normal and inevitable. Other than simple addition and subtraction, most of us don’t do any type of complex math once we’re finished with school.
If and when we do need to solve something above our abilities, we use a calculator or simply Google the answer. Between changes in the way math curriculum is taught, modern technology, and the passage of time, our math abilities tend to decrease and fade away.
Whatever the case may be, it’s fascinating and quite interesting how one equation can end up causing such a stir. Hard water can be a real pain in the neck and the nasty looking stains and blemishes that it leaves behind on bathroom and kitchen surfaces can be extremely hard to fully remove. The ugly spots and stains are caused by water that contains large amounts of minerals such as limestone, calcium, and magnesium.
These metals and minerals are naturally occurring, most often in areas with low water tables and mountainous regions, and water that contains them is perfectly safe to use and drink. The biggest downside to it is the crusty, whitish colored mineral deposits and stubborn stains it leaves behind. Over time these gradually build up on stuff, especially faucets and shower heads.
Many people struggle to remove these stains and often think that they need strong, harsh chemical cleaners to get rid of them effectively. However, there’s a better and more affordable way to go about cleaning a shower head with crusted on mineral build up. All you need is apple cider vinegar, a Ziploc bag, and a rubber band.
Simply pour some apple cider vinegar into the plastic bag and place it over and on the shower head. Use a rubber band to secure it in place and then leave it on overnight. Remove the baggy the following day, wipe the shower head clean, and it should be restored to its former glory!

The Grillo family has been getting an unexpected visitor on their porch for the past few weeks. They weren’t really sure what their best course of action was to going to be to handle this specific situation. Everyday a black bear would show up around the same time of day and take a nice stroll through the backyard, exploring the Grillo family’s property. A few times the bear got a little too curious and caused a little bit of damage and left a mess. Finally on this day they had enough of their new neighbor taking over their property when ever he felt like it.
The patriarch of the family Mr. Grillo grabbed his video camera and started filming the bear doing his usual walk across the property like he owns the place. Then the bear ascends the staircase on to the porch which he likes to do most of the time. Mr. Grillo knew his wife was sick and tired of this big old black bear taking over their backyard so he yelled for his wife when he saw the bear about to make himself comfortable on the porch.
At first there was no response, however soon Mr. Grillo’s intimidator/wife Mrs. Grillo swings the door open like she is ready to have a championship boxing match against Mike Tyson in his prime! She comes around and you can tell by her body language and voice she is not messing around and she means business!
Mrs. Grillo makes her presence known and stands up to the black bear with absolutely no fear. Instead of running the opposite way like most people would do if they were standing toe to toe with a big old black bear she walks right towards the confused animal! I know if I was her I would be terrified and immediately run back inside, but she doesn’t even flinch.

She Tries To Remove An Angry Possum From Her Closet. But In The Bag She Finds An Unexpected Surprise
One woman was in for a huge surprise when she went to clean out her closet in an indoor/outdoor room at her Los Angeles area home. After opening the door and starting to clean she heard hissing and angry noises coming from a black plastic garbage bag. Inside the bag laid a large possum, which stuck its sharp fanged mouth out and looked ready to attack at any moment. The normally nocturnal, shy, solitary, and nomadic creature was not behaving at all like a normal possum would have.
The aggressive behavior the possum was exhibiting soon had an explanation. The woman, Tara McVicar, discovered that the garbage bag held a number of tiny babies who were hiding behind their mother. The possum was only trying to defend her babies and felt threatened when Tara went to clean the closet. They had probably been born in the tiny room, maybe even in the bag, and likely had not ventured far in the daytime world.
After this realization, Tara let the group calm down and slowly started to remove a few of the babies. She placed them right outside her back door, safe inside a hutch, in order to lure the mother out when she went to go find them. The mother gathered the babies she still had around her onto her back and cautiously began to move towards the door.
Slowly and surely she sniffed her way to her babies outside, and a short time later the family was reunited and all back together. With the rest of her babies firmly latched onto her backside the mama headed off into the woods. Tara reclaimed her closet and the possum family got back to nature, where they belong and will learn life lessons from mom!
