THIS New Mama Just Had a Litter of Puppies But Wait Until You See What She’s Holding In Her Mouth!

Two tiny four week old kittens had been found abandoned and alone. With no mother around and no time to spare, a woman decided to rescue the babies and took them in. She tried her best to hand feed the kittens with a dropper but they just weren’t eating and soon started to grow weak. In need of an alternative solution, she reached out to a family friend whose dog had recently given birth and the two decided to try and place the orphaned kittens with the new mother.
The new mother happened to be a 3 year old Jack Russel terrier named Annabelle. Two weeks prior to the kittens arrival she had given birth to a litter of two puppies. Her owner, Kristy, was unsure about how she’d react to the new additions but any apprehension or worries were soon forgotten.
In no time at all Annabelle had taken the kittens in and adopted them as her own babies. She performed all the motherly tasks that a cat would do for their young and groomed, fed, cleaned, and protected her two new additions. She would gently pick them up and carry them around the house in her mouth to keep them safe and close and snuggled with them day and night.
The ABC News clip of the new family is absolutely adorable and heart warming, it’s the kind of positive story that you actually want to hear about! According to Kristy, Annabelle “has accepted them as her own, no questions asked.” In fact, she’s even more protective of the kittens than she is of her own puppies, but that’s because the kittens are older and more active, moving around a lot, so she has to keep a closer eye on them to make sure they’re safe.
It looks like everyone in Kristy’s household is happy, from Annabelle to her puppies to the kitties! Even though life started out rough for the kittens, in the end it all worked out for the best thanks to the woman who saved them and for Annabelle taking them in as her own.

Loggers Chop Down This Really Old Tree. But Were Completely Stunned By What They Found Inside The Trunk!

People have been logging the forests ever since they stopped being nomadic and settled down in one area. In America, as soon as the settlers arrived in Jamestown, Virginia they set to work falling trees to make shelters and protect them from the elements.
Over the years the industry has changed drastically to fit people’s needs. Nowadays logging is primarily done for lumber and producing paper pulp to make into a variety of paper products. That was what a team from Georgia Craft Company were out logging for one day back in 1980 in a forest near Jasper, Georgia. They were cutting down American Chestnut trees when they noticed that the first one they stuck their axe into was hollow. While unusual, it wasn’t a big deal, so they forged ahead and cut it down because it was still useable and valuable.
Once the tree was felled, they began cutting it up into smaller pieces that would fit on the back of the logging truck. However, before they started sawing it down to size, they realized that something was stuck up inside the tree trunk. When they looked down it there was no light passing through.
Curious, the loggers moved in to take a closer look and what met their gaze was shocking. The angry looking face of a snarling animal with sharp teeth peered out, causing them to immediately jump back and away from the tree. They couldn’t believe their eyes; they were looking at what seemed to be a very odd looking sort of dog. It appeared frozen in time and the loggers just knew they’d stumbled upon something strange. Not knowing quite what to do with it, they set it aside and got back to work.
About a year later the hollow Chestnut tree ended up at Southern Forest Word, a new museum dedicated to forestry that was about to open to the public. Staff at the museum knew the strange discovery would be a huge draw and wanted to know everything about the story behind the dog in the tree.
The dog appeared to have been naturally mummified and Kristina Killgrove, a biological anthropologist from the University of West Florida, came up with an explanation for how this likely happened. Part of her studies involve how tissue decays and the microbes involved in the process of breaking it all down. Because Chestnut trees have tannin, which makes them rot resistant, they absorb moisture.
That property is what prevented microbes from beginning the decaying process so the dog didn’t break down and instead became mummified. Another major contributing factor was that the tree trunk blocked other animals from both smelling and reaching the dog. Since it was hollow, any scent the dog gave off would have travelled up the tree like smoke where it’d be blown away by the wind.
The biggest question yet remained, how the dog ended up in the tree trunk in the first place. Since it appears to have been a 4 year old hunting dog, experts theorized that it likely chased an animal, such as a raccoon or squirrel, into the tree sometime around 1960. After somehow managing to climb up about 28 feet the dog then got stuck and after that it probably starved to death.
The dog in the tree has always been the main attraction at the forestry museum, people are fascinated by the story. For years it was simply given the name “mummified dog” but in 2002 the forestry museum held a naming contest for it. They ended up choosing the name “Stuckie” in homage to the poor hound’s sad fate.

Police officers are oftentimes viewed through a double lens. They help communities out and enforce the law, but not everyone always feels so safe around them. That’s why it’s important for cops to do community policing where they interact with residents regularly and not just in emergencies or on the worst day of someone’s life. By establishing connections and getting to know people they can make a much bigger impact and earn resident’s trust. This story out of Lake County Ohio goes to show how one officer’s friendly chat with a little girl made all the difference in both his life and hers.
The little girl’s name is Gabrielle and she had her heart set on getting an iPad for school and playing games. When she asked her mother, Melissa, for one she was told that they couldn’t afford it at the moment. Instead of giving up, Gabrielle decided to start a lemonade stand and buy one herself with the profits. Upon hearing that her mother was happy, the stand would keep her daughter busy and teach her the value of money. There was one problem though, the area where they lived was kind of rural and not many people passed by. However, Gabrielle’s grandmother lived nearby at a busy condo complex where people came and went all day long, it was the perfect location.
Excited to start her business right away, Gabrielle gathered up all the things she’d need for the stand and whipped up a batch of fresh lemonade. From the very start business was booming and early on a cop pulled up to her stand. He paid her $3 for a cup of lemonade, well over her asking price of 0.50 cents, and told her that he would let the other officers know about her refreshing business.
Soon afterwards another cop pulled up, this time it was 22 year-old Zach Ropos. He purchased a lemonade and asked Gabrielle what she planned on doing with the money she made from her stand. She told him how she wanted to get an iPad to help with school and that answer, along with her obvious work ethic, impressed him. While she was helping other customers, Officer Ropos spoke with her mother and told her that he had an old iPad at home that he’d love to gift Gabrielle. However, when he got home later that night and plugged in the iPad he discovered it didn’t work.
The next day he headed back to break the bad news to Melissa but before he could Gabrielle ran up to his patrol car and started chatting away. He asked how business was going and she replied she’d made a few dollars but gave it to her mom because her gas tank was empty. Her selfless response affected Officer Ropos and he resolved then and there to get her the iPad she so badly wanted and deserved.
The next day he headed to a local store and asked the owner if they’d contribute towards a tablet for Gabrielle after he told them her story. They agreed and later that day he met up with Gabrielle and her family while they were watching her brother play football. Seeing his car pull up she ran to meet him and that was when he pulled out a pink bag and gave it to her. Gabrielle was thrilled and her mother was overjoyed at the kindness Officer Ropos showed her daughter. She snapped a picture of the two of them posing with the iPad and later that night posted it on Facebook. The picture quickly went viral, it was shared over 34 thousand times and people called for interviews and ran news stories on it.
In the end, Officer Ropos declined most of them, he never wanted any media attention, he just wanted to make a little girl happy.

THIS Guy Believed He Took Home A New Little Puppy. He Would Soon Realize THIS Wasn’t Even a Dog!

Everyone knows that dogs are man’s best friend and the connection between people and canines runs deep. Naturally, when an 18 year old man from Tucson, Arizona found a cute little puppy abandoned in a shopping cart he couldn’t just leave him there. He took the dog home and asked his parents if he could keep him, they said yes and named him Neo.
From the start there were issues with Neo, he would relieve himself in the young man’s car and was very anti-social, yet needy at the same time. He’d only let the man get close and feed or care for him and shunned any of the other family members attempts at showing him any attention. Being that the man worked long hours and was enrolled full time at college, Neo was often left at home in the back yard.
Thinking that the fenced in area was roomy and safe enough for the dog, the family was surprised when Neo first got out. However, he started escaping regularly and would either dig a hole to freedom or jump right over the fence. Once he was out, Neo would head over to the neighbor’s house where some German Shepherds lived and loved to hang out and play with them.
Time and again he escaped, so the boy and his parents put up a much bigger and better fence thinking it would keep Neo in. It didn’t, the dog chewed right through the new fence and escaped in no time at all, heading straight back to the neighbors and his old dog friends.
The neighbors had been understanding and wanted to help. They would bring Neo back every time, but after awhile they got fed up with having to constantly return him. Plus, Neo clearly still didn’t trust them, he’d avoid eye contact and refused to eat any treats they threw his way. They ended up bringing him to the local Humane Society of Southern Arizona to see if they could offer professional help on what to do with the situation.
When Maureen O’Nell, the CEO of the shelter at the time, first saw Neo she knew right away he was different and not an ordinary dog. His amber eyes, long legs, rough coat that featured specific markings, and the anti-social behavior he displayed towards humans indicated that Neo was in fact a wolf! That came as a shock to everyone, but now all of Neo’s quirks and strange behavior made sense.
With this new revelation came a whole mess of issues. Arizona law prohibits anyone from owning a wolf unless they are either of Native American descent or they get a special permit. Not even animal shelters can take a wolf hybrid in and the humane society was required to report him to the authorities which left Neo’s fate in limbo.

Not wanting to see him put down, his family and O’Nell started looking into options for his future care. They found a California sanctuary called Wolf Connection Organization that was properly equipped to take care of wolves and wolf hybrids, which is what Neo likely was. The sanctuary agreed to take Neo in and soon he began the slow, gradual adjustment process of living at the facility and among other wolves.
For Neo, being an impatient escape artist, the adjustment period was a little too slow. He soon broke out of his enclosure and headed straight to the one next door where an established pack lived. His friendly nature soon won over the alpha female of the pack, a wolf named Maya, and with that the rest of the group accepted him into their family.
Thankfully Neo’s story has a happy ending; he ended up among fellow wolves rather than confined to a backyard or put down.

Wolf Decides To Attack This Helpless Baby Bison. But What The Hidden Camera Caught Next Is UNTHINKABLE!

Baby bison have been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. If you haven’t yet heard, one was recently picked up by concerned tourists in Yellowstone National Park and brought to rangers in the back of their car. The foreign tourists claimed that they thought the young bison looked cold, so they warmed it up in their car.
However good their intentions may have been, it turned out to be deadly for the calf. Park rangers spent over two days trying to reunite the calf with its mother, but all attempts were rejected. Because of that, and since it kept approaching people and cars near the roadway, the youngster was subsequently euthanized. In addition, it’s illegal to transport an untested bison outside of the park due to the potential for spreading Brucellosis, a bovine disease that can easily spread among cows and bison.
This other baby bison story has a much happier ending and there is no human interference with the course that mother nature intended. The National Geographic video clip shows a young bison calf who is just seven days old attempting to cross the Lamar River, located in northwestern Wyoming.
The water is running higher and swifter than usual due to melting snow, which causes the tiny baby to lose its footing and get swept downstream. It finally reaches a small gravelly island and climbs ashore, but it’s freezing cold, sapped of energy, hungry, and all alone. Night is closing in on the baby fast and the rest of the herd, including his mother, has continued on their journey.
Things go from bad to worse when a hungry wolf spots the lone baby bison and moves in for the kill. It reaches the island and latches on to the calf’s throat, trying to bring it down, but the bison manages to stay on its feet and stand his ground. The wolf is far from experienced and struggles to maintain its grip in the calf’s throat as the two flail about. Suddenly, a noise in the distance startles the lone wolf and causes it to halt its attack.
Seconds later the young bison’s mother comes thundering into view and she saves the day!! The wolf backs off and can only look on helplessly as mother and child reunite. After a quick greeting and sniff the hungry baby immediately gets to nursing. It will need all the strength and nourishment it can get after the harrowing ordeal it went through and it’s incredibly lucky to be alive.
What an awesome story of instincts, survival, and the powerful bond between a mother and child!

16 Year-Old Girl Leaves a Terrifying Goodbye Letter To Her Dad. He Is STUNNED When He Reads THIS Last Line!

Parenthood is probably the hardest job in the world for an adult to have. Whether they are infants, toddlers, young kids, teenagers and finally adults themselves taking care of them pretty much never ends. A particularly rough time for parents is when their children become teenagers! There nice little son or daughter all of a sudden has all these hormones being released and they go from little angels to devils almost over night!
Soon they are dating, driving around with their friends doing things they probably shouldn’t be doing, having their first sip of alcohol and so on and so forth. I’m not saying all teenagers are bad but for the most part this is the hardest time for any parent who will spend so much time being worried sick that their teenage child.
This brings us to today’s story which features a father and his 16 year-old daughter Anna. This dad was having a particularly rough day because his favorite sports team had just lost the big game and he was feeling really down and depressed about it. He drove home and thought it would be a good idea to pick up his daughter and get some delicious ice cream to try and have some fun and forget about his team’s big loss.
When he arrived at home and went into Anna’s room he was surprised to see that she wasn’t there or anywhere in the house. However, she had left a note for him to explain her whereabouts. Keep in mind, dad was already not in a good headspace so when he picked up this note it was about to become the perfect storm and every parents absolute worst nightmare.
I will paraphrase the note here and then you can watch the video below to get the full details. Trust me you are going to want to read every word of this note. The note basically reads as follows, Anna writes, I met a great guy who drives a motorcycle, has cool scars, tattoos and unique piercings all over his body. He is my boyfriend, my true love and we are going to elope.
Remember, dad was already in a very dark place as sweat dripped down his forehead, his heart dropped into his stomach and full blown panic was starting to set in. He took a deep breath figuring it couldn’t be that bad, not realizing that as he read on the note would get so much worse!
She writes, I packed up my all my stuff and am moving out. We will be living together in his trailer. Also I am 3 months pregnant and we are going to be getting married next week! At this point dad went from panic to full blown melt down. His little princess was about to make the worst decision of her life and he had no clue where she was or how he could protect her and stop this insanity!
His heart was beating quick, as his fear and confusion levels reached an all time high, could he be living in the twilight zone? How could his littler girl be so foolish? How could he have not noticed the signs? Where was she right now? But he kept reading, and just as he thought things couldn’t get any worse they did!

Mom Shows Up At Her Kids Cafeteria. She Sees The Teachers Did THIS To Him and Is Disgusted!

School is a place where children learn important lessons and expand their minds, they’re supposed to feel safe and included in the classroom. However, some schools have rules and policies in place that end up making students feel bullied and the opposite of welcome.
Lincoln Elementary School in Gates Pass, a small community located in southern Oregon, had a strict policy where any student who was late would have to go to detention. There were no exemptions and if a child was late for reasons beyond their control, it didn’t matter. One day six year old Hunter showed up late to the school because his mother, Nicole, was feeling under the weather.
She suffers from osteoarthritis, a chronic health condition that makes it hard to function and painful to move, especially in the morning. On top of that, the family car had conked out the same morning when she went to start it. Nevertheless, Nicole did her best to get Hunter to school, but by the time he arrived he was a minute or two late.
Watching him walk in the door with tears in his eyes she decided to return at lunch time to cheer him up. When she walked into the school cafeteria, she was completely shocked to find her 6 year old son sitting all by himself at a lunch table crying.
In front of him was a white partition that served to block his view of all the other kids and a cup with the letter D written on it. This served to loudly denote his detention status to everyone in the room, as if the isolation and partition wasn’t humiliating enough.
Upon seeing this, Nicole pulled her son from school and took him home but before she left, she took a picture of the sad scene. She shared the photo with Hunter’s grandmother who in turn posted it on Facebook where it quickly went viral and amassed over 75K shares. According to the post caption this was the 6th time Hunter had been in detention for reasons beyond his control.
Meanwhile, the school district was being flooded with calls from concerned people across the country who had seen the post. The Camello family had no idea the story had garnered such interest and were going about their business. Hunter’s father Mark had gone to pick up the car and was suddenly pulled aside as he went to pay the bill.
Expecting some bad news about the car, he was instead shocked to find out that people in the community and a local car dealer had rallied together to buy them a new family car! Hunter’s picture and the family’s story had hit a chord and people wanted to do something good for them.
In the end, the school’s detention policy was changed and now there is a designated supervised room that is used instead of the cafeteria, so kids don’t feel singled out and are not publicly shamed.

A Healthy Woman Was Cleaning Her House For 2 Hours. Then She Noticed Her Hands and Fingers Turned Dark Black!

If you own a home or apartment you know that cleaning and doing housework can be a never ending process especially if you have children or pets. Sometimes it seems like the faster you clean up the more the mess begins to pile up. Pretty much everyone in the world has to deal with the annoying task of housework and cleaning a dirty rooms. When cleaning and doing housework it is pretty common to sometimes get small scrapes or cuts that are usually no big deal.
You get a little soap, rubbing alcohol or antibacterial lotion place it on the little wound and go about your day. Our bodies have amazing healing capabilities and usually our natural immunity and defenses can take care of these types of things.
With major advances in modern medicine our human life expectancy is the highest it’s ever been. With all this being said we are not invincible, not by a long shot. Even though we can live longer due to these amazing advances in medicine, our bodies still break down and can be vulnerable to infections and disease.
This brings us to today’s story which comes all the way from Hubei, China. Mrs. Zhang a otherwise healthy 53-year-old woman was just going about her day doing a little tidying up around the house. Mrs. Zhang had no underlying illnesses or diseases. As she cleaned up her house she got a few little scrapes and cuts.
She noticed the small cuts on her hands washed them thoroughly and didn’t think much of it. However 48 hours later she looked down where the small scrapes were and noticed that a bruise was starting to form around the area. Again Mrs. Zhang just thought it was her bodies natural defense and healing process and didn’t think it was necessary to go to the doctor for the bruises that were forming.
Then as the days progressed these strange bruises began spreading throughout her entire hand and fingers. Her fingers were starting to change color and began turning dark and even their shape began to change! Mrs. Zhang was extremely alarmed and immediately made an appointment with her doctor to see what the heck was going on. By the time she got to the doctor her left hand was almost completely black and her right hand was starting to look about the same.
The doctor examined her hands and quickly realized what was going on. Both of her hands were diagnosed with Gangrene! To be more specific it was a form of Gangrene called Dry Gangrene which unlike normal Gangrene does not have an unpleasant odor. However Dry Gangrene can be just as dangerous as normal Gangrene. The blackness of her hands was due to the necrosing or death of her tissues which was literally killing all the cells in her fingers and hands.
The doctor immediately sent her to a specialist at a hospital who was more familiar with this rare condition that was slowly eating away and killing her hands and fingers. At the hospital they began treating her with antibiotics. They also began removing the blackened tissue which must be done to fully recover from Gangrene.
At first she showed some signs of healing but the Gangrene was so aggressive that she will never have full use of her hands and fingers again! Even worse if the doctors are unable to fully remove the damaged tissue her fingers may have to be amputated! Luckily a good portion of her hands were not affected by the aggressive gangrene and she should be able to recover. If untreated Gangrene can inevitably lead to death!
Mrs. Zhang’s story is a good reminder to stay vigilant and trust your gut. If your body is telling you something just isn’t right, trust it and go to the doctor as soon as possible! The worst thing you can do is wait too long and then your disease and infection will become untreatable!
