Their Human Asks Them, “Who Is Your Best Friend?” Now Watch How The One On The Left Reacts!

image via – youtube.com

Dogs are known to be man’s best friend, time and again they have shown nothing but steadfast loyalty towards their human companions. Most canines wouldn’t even think twice about following their owners to the ends of the earth, and some have risked their lives doing exactly that.

However, not every dog’s best friend is human, and oftentimes that role is filled by a fellow dog, especially when the two grow up and are raised together. There is just something special about the bonds that domesticated dogs are capable of forming with both each other and all the other animals in a household, cats included!

Take for example Lottie, the Border Collie, and her best friend in the whole wide world, Grizzly the German Shepherd. This video is a testament to their close friendship and mutual love and respect for one another. When their owner asks Lottie who her best friend is she answers the question immediately with a simple act.

She rears back slightly on her hind legs, lifts her two front paws and slides them around Grizzly’s furry back, then brings her head in close to rest against his body. The adorable doggy hug is easily the cutest thing you’ve seen in awhile. How can it not be, the sight is one of pure sweetness and absolutely beautiful, I just wish it lasted longer!

It turns our that the beautiful pair are both extremely smart, talented, and adept at picking up all sorts of new skills and sweet tricks. They work hard and train hard together with their owner up near the Sudbury area of Canada’s Ontario province.

When they aren’t busy working, performing, or being ambassadors for all-natural nutrition on behalf of Animal Wellness Magazine, they can be found hanging out together doing cool dog things. The two best friends have a growing internet following and are lucky to have each other, as they keep one another grounded and focused, and that’s what friends are for.

If you’re ever feeling down or maybe just want to brighten someones day and remind them that you care, send them this short clip and spread the love. Better yet, send it to your best friends and hug your dog(s)!

There is no better comfort dessert on these cold winter days, than those that are warm and fill your home with that perfect scent of cinnamon and apple.  The video you are about to watch below, shows you how easy it is to make these inventive “APPLE PIE CUPCAKES!”

The key words here for me are EASY and DELICIOUS.  You will need: flour, brown sugar, walnuts or pecans, butter, 4 Granny Smith apples, a tube of Cinnamon rolls and cinnamon.  The cinnamon rolls get flattened into a greased muffin tin.

After the cut up apple pieces are tossed in a frying pan and cinnamon added they are used to fill the cinnamon rolls and then topped with a combo of mixed flour, brown sugar, nuts and butter.  I would suggest you fast forward to see the finished product at the end of the video; it will inspire you to follow the recipe and enjoy this delightful dessert!

Mom Allows The Baby To Give The Dog His Last Cookie. It Would Be The Biggest Mistake He Ever Made!

image via – rumble.com

Sharing is caring, at least most of the time it is. You have to be conscious of the thought or idea that you are giving something away with both knowledge of the fact and good intent behind it. These things are all learned in due time from our interactions and experiences with others, like our parents, teachers, friends, and even our pets and animals.

One little baby boy ended up learning an important life lesson when it comes to over-sharing. Noah was eating his mid-afternoon cookie snack alongside his mother and the family dog, a Boxer named Josie, when he noticed his four legged friend giving him sad little puppy eyes.

The sight proved irresistible even to young Noah, who gingerly reached over and offered up a cookie to Josie. The clever dog gently took the generous offering and scarfed the tasty cookie down in mere seconds.

It was a sweet and tender moment at first, but then the realization dawned on Noah. That was my last cookie. You can see that thought gradually spread across his face as he looks in his hands and all around confused, as if to say “where’s my cookie?”

After searching to no avail, his wide eyed bewilderment gave way to disappointment. Once that sets in poor baby Noah starts to cry but hopefully his mother gave him another cookie to ease the pain. Perhaps next time he won’t be so quick to share with the family dogs. Then again, kids are kids and it may take him several times to realize that!

He Cracks 12 Eggs Into This Old Ice Tray. The Reason? I Had No Idea!

image via – youtube.com

You know that sinking feeling you get when you reach for a bottle of milk or carton of eggs in the refrigerator, only to find out that it’s expired? It’s a waste of money when that happens and it can easily throw off your plans for a nice cup of coffee or dinner.

Dairy products in general can be expensive so when they’re on sale it’s wise to stock up on your favorites. While many dairy items spoil and go bad not long after being purchased or opened, there is a way to store and preserve them for later use.

YouTube favorite HouseholdHacker explains it all and that by freezing dairy products you can extend their shelf life. This video lays out the details and shows how to go about doing exactly that. Here’s a breakdown of what works best for the most common dairy items.

First off, eggs can be frozen by cracking one egg into each individual ice cube slot in an ice tray. After they completely freeze simply pop them out of the tray and store in a freezer bag. Now you have them on hand for when a recipe calls for only one egg!

Next is milk, which can only be frozen for about 1-2 months and coffee creamer for longer, up to 6 months. Just stick the unopened and fully sealed cartons in the refrigerator right after you buy them. Once you remove it from the freezer thaw the milk in the refrigerator for a day or two and be sure to shake it up well before using because it will definitely have separated.

Cheese can be a bit more difficult to freeze because the texture can be affected, and not in a good way. While most cheese is freezable, Parmesan works the best, and shredded cheese is the way to go because blocks tend to get all dry and crumbly. Shredded cheese can be stored for up to 2-3 months and thawed out in the refrigerator before using, that should help retain its original texture.

Salted butter can last the longest, for 6-8 months if wrapped well, but unsalted butter only lasts for one month. Also, make sure there is nothing in the freezer with a strong smell or pungent odor because you risk having the butter pick it up and it’ll end up tasting like that.

Greek yogurt freezes well for a couple of months, but make sure to stir it well after thawing. A great way to enjoy frozen yogurt is to make yogurt pops. Simply stick a popsicle stick in the container top before freezing or pour the yogurt in an ice cube tray and use them in smoothies.

Full fat cream cheese can be frozen but results vary when thawed as to texture depending on the brand you buy. Once it has been thawed always make sure to use it right away in dips, sauces, or baked dishes.

Now you don’t have to see any of your dairy products spoil ever again. Hopefully these tips and information will help you in the future!

He Takes Potatoes Slices Them Into Thin Layers And Puts Them In A Muffin Pan. When It’s Done YUM!

image via – youtube.com

There’s a right way and a wrong way to go about doing practically everything, and then there’s all the ways that fall in between those two opposite extremes. The awesome cooking idea shown in this video falls somewhere in the middle and makes you think outside the muffin tin.

In it the YouTube Home Cooking Adventure channel shows us how to use the bakeware for cooking up something other than traditional muffins. Instead, it features a novel way to use the tin to bake delicious Parmesan potato treats that your whole family will love and appreciate.

These are the perfect accompaniment for dinner instead of the same old baked and mashed potatoes we’re all used to eating. Below is a list of ingredients and instructions on how to prepare them:

Ingredients: (Serves 4-6 people)
– 3 tablespoons of melted butter
– 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese
– 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon of thyme leaves
– salt and pepper, to taste
– 8-10 gold potatoes, sliced very thin
– muffin tin (with 12 cups)

Instructions:
First, preheat the oven to a toasty 350° Fahrenheit and grease or butter up the muffin tin. Place all the potato slices in a large bowl and pour the melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, thyme, and salt and pepper. Mix them all together so that everything is nice and evenly coated.

Take the buttery slices and place them into the muffin cups, making sure to stack and layer them as you go. Pop the muffin tin in the oven and bake for approximately 55-60 minutes. They’ll be done when the top and edges turn golden brown.

They will be super hot, so after you remove them allow them to sit and cool for at least a couple of minutes before serving and if you’d like, sprinkle a bit more salt and pepper or Parmesan cheese on top.

These potatoes will be yummy and crusty on the outside and tender and delicious on the inside. They’re great on their own or as a side with steak, chicken, and basically anything so try them out this weekend!

The Woman Puts An Empty Cup Over A Square Of Butter But The Reason Is GENIUS!

image via – facebook.com

Have you ever started to whip up a recipe and then suddenly noticed it calls for softened butter, but all you have is cold, rock-hard sticks in the refrigerator? It’s too late to take them out so they can soften up to room temperature and you can’t microwave the sticks because they’ll melt. What do you do?

Most of us caught in this position have either stopped baking altogether or resorted to slicing the sticks up into small pads. The idea behind that method is the butter will soften faster in smaller chunks because they give it more surface area. Or maybe your mother simply taught you it and passed the age old trick down.

While this last ditch effort does work, it’s not the best or the fastest way to soften butter to the desired consistency that works for baking and recipes. Instead, you should employ the technique covered in this video short where he goes over how to soften hard butter sticks in a clean and easy way that takes just 2 minutes. Simply take a piece of cold, hard butter and set it on a plate.

Grab a glass, fill it with hot water, and allow it to stand for at least one minute or a little longer. Pour the water out, dry the glass completely, and place it upside down over the butter. After about a minute or two the butter will have softened and now it’s ready for cooking and baking.

Hopefully this tip will come in handy the next time you find yourself facing this all too common baking conundrum, so please pass it on and spread the love!
