There is nothing lovelier than introducing a colorful aura into any room in your home. The DIY, in the video you are about to watch below, shows you a crafty and inexpensive way to diffuse sunlight, by making a colorful sun catcher to hang in your window.

The tutorial is easy-to-follow; all you will need is: clear Elmer’s Glue; a Scissor; a plastic yogurt lid (for a round catcher) or a larger one if you want to make a bigger one; assorted colored glass gems (from the Dollar Store); fishing line or yarn for hanging.

She creates a translucent sun catcher that casts beautiful colors in your room, during the daylight hours. It will brighten your day during the remainder of winter, and usher in the warmth and beauty of Spring.

This Is What Happens To Your Waistline If You Drink A Glass Of Red Wine Right Before You Go To Sleep!

Many people love pouring themselves a glass or two of red wine in the evening. For some, it’s an after dinner ritual that helps them to relax and unwind after a long day. While many people assume that drinking alcohol before bedtime is bad and can lead to weight gain, new evidence suggests the opposite.

Capping off the night with a glass of red wine can actually be beneficial to our health and even help prevent weight gain. It may be contrary to everything you ever knew or thought about wine, but once you learn more about how and why, it all begins to make sense.

A main belief behind the idea that red wine before bed can help you lose weight and prevent gain is that it helps to suppress the cravings for sweet, fatty foods we tend to have at night. Drinking a little wine after dinner earlier in the evening helps make you feel more full and satisfied at a key time when most of us snack on junk food.

In addition, if you substitute a glass of red wine for a bowl of ice cream, cookies, or chips, you’ll end up consuming fewer overall calories. Alcohol produces zero glucose and red wine scores very low on the glycemic index, which means it is not very fattening.

The National Institute for Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism has even reported that “when alcohol is substituted for carbohydrates, calorie for calorie, subjects tend to lose weight, indicating that they derive less energy from alcohol than from food.”

A thirteen year Harvard University study appears to back this up further. Researchers tracked 20,000 women and found that those who drank two glasses of red wine a day were much less likely to be obese. Compared to non-drinkers, they had a 70% reduced risk of obesity, so don’t feel guilty about having that second glass of wine tonight.

A number of other studies have also shown that when we drink alcohol it signals in our bodies the production of an enzyme that helps metabolize and break alcohol down. Women produce less of this enzyme than men and therefore they end up burning more calories and fat to digest wine.

Red wine has a lot more to offer other than the aforementioned weight benefits. It’s rich in antioxidants and those help combat the effects of harmful free radicals in our bodies, which damage and age our minds and bodies.

One specific antioxidant it contains is Resveratrol, which has been shown to boost heart health and longevity. Resveratrol also helps to protect against and prevent a variety of serious health issues, such as cell damage, Alzheimer’s, and different types of cancers. Red wine also helps our bodies to relax and loosen up and there is evidence that it increases “good” levels of cholesterol (HDL).

In turn, it’s not only good for our cardiovascular health, it’s also great for our mental health since it helps lower stress levels. Less stress at night can also lead to better sleep and less out of control, stress-driven eating.

Of course, as is true with any type of food or alcohol, moderation is key. Consuming too much alcohol can easily lead to weight gain and opens you up to many other negative risks, including developing alcoholism.

Furthermore, if you are going to drink a glass of red wine at night and expect to lose weight, you have to forego consuming other calories. All in all, the main takeaway from this information is that a glass of red wine at night isn’t going to hurt you or your weight loss and diet goals.

If anything, it may be of benefit to you, so don’t hesitate to pour yourself a little.

She Starts Sticking ‘Shattered Glass’ Onto Her Nails. But When She’s Done My Jaw Dropped!

Nail art is a lot of fun and some trends just really call to people who like to try an edgy look.  If you are one of those people, the video you are about to watch below is for you.  It is known as shattered glass; a new Korean nail art.

Park Eun Kyung is the nail creator; her nail lab, Unistella by E.K. has been known to come up with some of the most unique trends out there.  This amazing effect of shattered glass is illustrated by YouTube channel “Creativenailart”, in an easy-to-follow way that makes it possible for you to try it at home.

She paints her nails white as a primer, then using liquid latex, she protects the edges of her nails. After drying she uses a small makeup sponge with polish colors to imprint on her nail which will help to produce the glass effect after she applies cut iridescent tissue paper and then the final coat.

If You Drink A Glass Of Warm Salt Water For 7 Days With An Empty Stomach THIS Happens!

She Starts To Pour Glitter On This Glass Of Wine. When She’s Done It’s Unexpectedly Stunning Surprise!

If you find buying festive dinnerware to be a bit pricey and a waste of money, but want or need some decorative pieces to dress up the table this holiday season, try making some yourself! You can custom make beautiful drinking glasses out of a few simple and inexpensive products, and chances are you already have a few of these items on hand.

This easy to follow and replicate project involves creating sparkly and expensive looking drinking glasses. You can use any type of glass you’d like, whether it be a tumbler, shot glass, beer mug, wine glass, or more. This project will turn those boring old glasses into fun, beautiful, glittery pieces that are perfect for all of the upcoming winter holidays, or everyday use!

While the general how-to information is distilled in the description below, for optimum results watch the video for the step by step method used. The items you will need for the glitter glass project are mod podge, glitter, a paint brush, and some drinking glasses.

Start by putting down some pieces of old newspaper to protect the area you’re working on and to make the eventual clean up much easier. Pour a little bit of mod podge into a container and then dip the brush into it and start painting the bottom of the glass.

Evenly coat the area of the glass you wish to cover in glitter. The video shows the bottom half being painted but you can do any design, anywhere on it, that you’d like. However, you should avoid painting near the rim or you’ll risk getting glitter on your mouth!

Now the fun part. Slowly pour glitter onto the painted portions of the glass, making sure every bit is covered and coated in sparkles, and allow it to sit and dry overnight. The next day, paint on a second coat of mod podge over the dried glitter and allow it to again dry for at least 24 hours.

Now you can use and drink out of the pretty, beautifully decorated glasses!

This Is The Main Reason Why You Should Never Touch The Glass On A Shark Tank!

Some families love pulling pranks on their loved ones.  Video of a family trip to the International Spy Museum, in Washington D.C., shows one grandmother’s reaction to being set up by her grandchildren.  While she was not completely unsuspecting of them trying to pull a fast one on her, she was nonetheless caught completely by surprise.

The poor woman entered the blue hued shark tank room at the museum and asked her family “are you trying to scare me?”  A girl off screen answers “no, touch it” in reference to the glass viewing window.  Grandma touches the tank window several times and seems confused as to why she has been told to do it since nothing happens.

She moves in a little closer, inspecting the display, when out of nowhere a huge, menacing, toothy shark slams into the glass.  The force appears to shatter it into a web of spidery cracks and sends the woman flying backwards to the ground in complete shock.  Once she realizes it’s fake and a joke, she cries out “Oh my God, you scared the crap out of me!”  Her family laughs as she gets up, rattled and yet in good humor, laughing off the prank too and playfully slapping at the kids.

The video was captured in part of the “Exquisitely Evil: 50 Years of Bond Villains” exhibit, specifically in the museum’s “Earth Redesigned” area.  The “tank” that she tapped on was not a real one, but rather a clear screen that showed a pre-recorded video.  Her grand children timed it just right so that she would become the victim of the virtual shark attack, and her response to it has since gone viral on YouTube.

It is safe to assume that any trusting family member would have had a similar reaction to the scary and sudden set up.  A shark bursting out of the blue straight at you is not something anyone expects on a nice day trip to the museum.  But then again, she did ask if they were up to something, so maybe she has been set up before and knows better than to trust the grand-kids!
