When we travel by air, we hold onto our boarding passes like our lives depend on it, before boarding. We know that without it we are not getting on that plane. Once we have boarded, many of us become more careless about it’s whereabouts, because we are done with it. Sometimes we slip it in the seat pocket in front of us, stick it in a magazine, or just chuck it.
Until watching this video I never realized that my carelessness with the boarding pass had the potential to land me in a ton of trouble! Evidently there is personal information frequently encrypted on the pass, according to ‘Krebs on Security”.
All that an unscrupulous person has to do is get a screen shot of the bar code on the boarding pass, and feed it into a bar code reader on “Inlite’s” site. It was pointed out by a forensic expert for CBS, Winston Krone, that it is possible for the encrypted information on the bar code to contain personal email addresses, home addresses and phone numbers.

In fact, the average cost for tickets sold on a Friday are 13% higher than those sold just two days later on Sunday. The main reason given for this difference is that leisure travelers book more discount trips on weekends. Also, towards the end of the work week business travelers pay for the higher fares, and many of the sales and deals that airlines run throughout the week expire by Friday.
Better days on which to purchase airline tickets are Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays. The study found that Tuesdays are when prices drop to the lowest cost, which on average are 3% less than Friday prices. Buying earlier, rather than last minute, always helps to keep costs low and getting alerts for sales and exclusives can pay off in the end.
Ticket prices are constantly being adjusted up and down, so if you spot a good deal, grab it before it changes and goes back up. Hopefully this information will come in handy and help you snag a bargain the next time you have to book a flight. I don’t know about you, but there is nothing worse than that “OH NO!” sinking feeling when you realize that you, or someone else, has clogged the toilet! The usual option is to get the plunger and start the absolutely gagworthy task of trying to plunge the mess.

These Guys Were Just Walking On A Frozen Lake But When The Camera Pans Down My Jaw Dropped!

Mere mortals can only dream of walking on water, but a group of hikers came close to doing exactly that. They walked on ice that was so crystal clear and smooth that it looked as if they were walking on water. Tomas Nunuk was trekking through Slovakia’s Tatras mountain range with some friends when they came upon a lake called Velke Hincovo Pleso.
The beautiful body of water is located 6,300 feet above sea level near the looming Koprovsky stit mountain. This isn’t just any old lake, it’s the deepest one in all of Slovakia, measuring 176 feet at its deepest point.
When the hikers reached the waters edge, a spectacular sight met their eyes. The surface of the lake was completely frozen solid but the ice was crystal clear, to the point that it was see through. There were no white spots or gas bubbles marring the clarity of the ice and the rocky bottom of the lake was perfectly visible in the shallow spots.
Thomas recorded the moment that he and his friend stepped out onto the ice and they can be seen gingerly walking across glassy surface. The video quickly went viral after he posted it online, with many people calling it beautiful, and others expressing skepticism about whether or not it was truly real.
The skeptics claimed the ice was too thin to hold the men and that ice that clear simply doesn’t exist in nature. Those claims were subsequently proven false by locals, weather experts, and science. A Slovakian man, Igor Ludma, explained that ice can look like glass “when the temperatures fall from being relatively mild to very cold very quickly, and at the same time it’s important that there has not been any snow which tends to make the ice very cloudy.
And we have had those conditions lately which would explain this very clear ice.” AccuWeather, a provider of weather forecast services worldwide, affirmed that Slovakia had experienced the type of weather conditions described by Ludma. In addition, when addressing the video in a post online, AccuWeather also cleared up the other issue surrounding the clear ice.
They added that according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, “clear ice is about twice as strong as white ice since it is much more dense…Ice looks cloudy and white when it has air bubbles due to thawing and refreezing.” Thus, the ice could have indeed held the men and exist in the first place at that time, in that area.
It seems to be that the lake ice that day was simply another one of mother nature’s beautiful and strange phenomenons. One thing is for certain, the footage of it is amazing and I’d love for the chance to be able to walk across a lake like that!

Master Lock is one of the top selling commercial lock producers worldwide and just about any hardware store you visit likely carries the name-brand. The company produces several types of traditional and combination padlocks which can be used to secure a variety of things.
People use them to lock up doors and bikes to chains or whatever else they can think of that fits the designs. When the company first started producing locks they were made out of laminated steel layers, which made them ultra durable and sturdy.
Modern designs feature innovative advanced features, such as titanium and stainless steel materials and battery operated digital displays. However, the plain old padlock remains a consumer favorite and chances are you have one yourself somewhere around the house. If you’re using it to safeguard highly valuable items, you may want to rethink your lock options.
It turns out that Master Locks are incredibly easy to overcome and open. To show people exactly how easy they are to crack, YouTube’s Bosnianbll uploaded a video demonstrating how one of the lock models can be picked open in a matter of seconds. You don’t need to be an expert or even remotely mechanically adept to pull this off.
All a person has to do is apply tension to the lock by slightly pulling on the shackle, the u-shaped curved top portion, with one hand. In the other hand, take a hammer and hit the top part of the lock body firmly on the side. After a few steady blows the locking mechanism can be overcome and the shackle will pop out from the body, making it easy to remove.
Bosnianbll was able to open it in about 10 seconds with the help of just a hammer, that’s how quick and easy it is to override. And while this video is meant to serve as a warning, it can obviously be used for less than honorable intentions.
It may also help someone open a lock that they lost the key to, but either way it’s good to be aware of, so be sure to keep this information in mind!
