This Kitty Was Just Hanging Out On His Porch When This Flew In. But Seconds Later WOW!

image via – youtube.com

Animal odd couples are constantly popping up and surprising us humans. Oftentimes, the quirky pairings are composed of two completely different animals who would naturally never meet in mother nature. We have seen cheetahs and chipmunks that have bonded with dogs, a lion, tiger, and bear are all best of friends, and countless other strange combinations of animals.

Some are natural enemies, in the wild they would likely clash and be strongly opposed to one another, maybe they’d even try to kill each other. However, as the animal odd couples around the world have shown us time and again, animals are unpredictable and not all of them fit their species stereotypes.

Take for example the eagles in this video, which was uploaded to YouTube by user Pam Aus. In the clip her black and white coated cat named Gizmo is chilling right outside her house on the porch railing. Keeping the kitty company is a pair of large wild eagles, one of which seems very interested in his new found feline friend.

When the cat tries to get some space, moving away further down the railing, the curious eagle follows. Soon after, the eagle tries to get a better look and pokes his head in closer towards Gizmo’s adorable face. The kitty does not like that and she lets the space invading eagle know this by firing off a warning meow.

That does the trick and the suddenly bashful eagle backs off a bit, he clearly doesn’t want to scare Gizmo off or make her mad. The amazing footage was fittingly captured near Dutch Harbor in the Unalaska area, which is located amid the Aleutian Island chains off the coast of Alaska.

That location places it in one of the wildest places left in both the United States and the world. The islands there are home to a large population of eagles since their main food source, fish, is plentiful. If you’re worried that the eagle may have been trying to make a meal out of Gizmo, don’t be.

The eagles in Alaska are used to the human presence and often come in close, landing and resting near people, pets, and wild animals. According to Gizmo’s owner, in the eight years that she’s had cats there has never once been a problem between them and any eagles.

While the large birds of prey could, if they wanted to, make a meal out of a cat, they have no need or desire to so and instead of acting aggressively they are friendly and non-threatening. Be sure to check out the wildly unbelievable footage and see for yourself how well behaved and gentle the eagle acted.

THIS Is The One Secret Ingredient That Will Transform Those Gross Yellow Pillows Back To Looking New!

image via – youtube.com

I have to admit that I have thrown out many a pillow, well before it’s time, due to really gross yellow stains.  I have bought pillow protectors, which get yellow, and don’t seem to prevent it seeping through to the pillow itself.  Jillee from the “One Good Thing” YouTube channel explains why this happens.

In the video below, which you are about to watch, she explains that the yellow is due to the sweating we do while we are sleeping, to regulate our body temperature.  Once again, she has found a great cleaning remedy to restore our pillows to a sparkling white, instead of chucking them and having to constantly spend money on new ones.

I have found that the tips Jillee has offered in the past are simply the best; they really work and she explains the process in an easy-to-follow method.  I tried her method out to fix the “yellow pillow syndrome”, before writing this, and can testify that my pillows are bright white and fluffy!

Her secret potion requires: turning your machine to the hottest setting and adding laundry detergent, powdered dishwasher detergent, bleach and Borax.  She will give you amounts and washing tips, as well as the best way to dry the pillows so they are as good as new!

Nobody Believed Her When She Told Them About Her Pygmy Goat’s Nightly Ritual. So She Caught THIS

image via – youtube.com

There are few things on Earth that come close to being as cute as a pygmy goat. The adorable little animals always look like they’re happy and having the best time ever. The breed’s naturally small size, combined with their playful attitude, makes them look so innocent and young no matter what age they are at in life.

Everything about them is silly and sweet, which just adds to their preciousness. The young pygmy goat in this video is a perfect example of just how cute they can be. His name is Johnnie and he’s had quite a rough start at life. His sibling died and his mother refused to feed him so now he lives in the house alongside his human roommates who lovingly bottle feed him and show him the way of the goat.

Johnnie is still very young and he’s just beginning to learn how to use his legs and feet. His owner was trying to help him along and so she gave him a short lesson in hopping. The little black and white guy looks on as she leaps and bounds her way across the kitchen floor demonstrating the proper form and technique.

When she doubles back it’s Johnnies turn to try but instead of following her lead he turns around and hesitates. It appears that he’s unsure of himself as his tail starts wagging rapidly back and forth. Maybe it’s in reaction to a case of sudden nervousness or performance anxiety, or he’s just trying to amp himself up.

Either way, once his owner gives him a reassuring pat on the behind and turns him around, he follows her back across the kitchen, leaping and hopping the whole way! The little guy hops kind of sideways since his back legs don’t really fall in directly behind the front ones, but that just makes it all the more cuter.

It appears that he’s a natural at it, regardless of his slightly irregular beginners alignment, and with a little more practice he’ll soon be leaping onto all sorts of crazy things that goats seem to love to jump on. Pygmy goats are known to be very active and playful animals.

They love nothing more than to jump up onto different things, like small vehicles and low roofs. They may be curious and so jump to check things out, or perhaps they want a better vantage point and do it for the view. Other popular videos show them even jumping off of each other, so they must be natural born leapers and performers!

Pretty soon Johnnie will be steady on his feet and he’ll be jumping around like a professional. Enjoy the adorableness below!

This Cat Walks Up To The Water Real Slow. But His Next Move Causes Everyone To Start Laughing!

image via – youtube.com

When you go fishing it can be really hit or miss. Sometimes the fish are biting and take the bait right off the bat, but that’s very rare. Most of the time you can expect to spend hours waiting to catch one and even then nothing may come of it. You have to have patience, if you lack it all of the special lures, tackle, and bait mean nothing.

It also helps to have a natural instinct for knowing where to fish. One little kitty proved that he had both patience and a killer instinct when he was captured on film scouting out fish by bystanders. While the exact location where the footage was shot is unknown, the skinny gray and white cat in it was described by the user who uploaded it, MrTheoktay, as being a “street cat.”

The little cat can be seen on some rocks at the water’s edge watching the fish just beyond reach attentively. The cat’s focus is unwavering as he stalks his unsuspecting prey, and if he truly is a street cat then catching one is vital to his survival because who knows when or where he’ll get his next meal from.

There are several points in the video where it looks as if the cat is about to go for a fish, but when he actually does make his move it’s lightning quick and deadly accurate. Like an expert, he gets it on the first try and barely even gets his paws wet. When he turns and walks away from the water there’s a sizable fish grasped firmly in his mouth, mission accomplished!

The crowd gathered beyond the camera’s view who were watching the kitty erupted in laughter and a few expressed shock and disbelief at the unexpected sight. They now all have one heck of a fishing tale to tell their friends and families. While the sight of a cat fishing may be uncommon, cats are natural born fish catchers and everyone knows the fondness they feel for seafood flavored treats.

When a cat fishes it will usually tap the water’s surface lightly with a paw, mimicking the movement and look of a bug. Fish go up to investigate and that creates the perfect opportunity to strike out and grab one. It’s just another clever, smart thing that cats do naturally and instinctively.

Nobody Believed Them When They Described This Gorilla’s Afternoon Ritual. So They Caught THIS

image via – youtube.com

I have always been fascinated by apes of all kinds. As they are our evolutionary cousins, watching their behavior and intelligence is particularly intriguing. Gorillas share 95% of our DNA; that fact and their enormity make them so captivating. They are beautiful and amazing creatures that should always be protected.

The video you are about to watch below, shows Amba the gorilla, who resides at the Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, in Kent, UK. Today he is 24 years old and weighs 485 pounds. The footage reveals very unusual behavior because most gorillas never walk like this. The video is quite a rare sight that has rarely been witnessed before.

One does not expect to see a Western lowland gorilla, like Amba, walking like a human! Normally they navigate on all fours, but it seems Ambam had modeled the behavior of the humans around him, and achieved perfect balance on his hind quarters. His posture and swagger took my breath away, as it was so like a muscular human male’s.

His remarkable achievement stirred debate and further study of how man evolved to walk on two legs.
