Apparently If You Press On This Point On Your Hand For 30 Seconds THIS Happens To Your Body!

People are constantly searching for natural and alternative ways to help effectively treat health conditions and disorders they may be experiencing. Perhaps nothing they’ve already tried has worked or they don’t want to have to rely on modern, expensive health options.
Those usually involve harsh and costly pharmaceuticals, which often have even worse side effects than the actual issue itself. Many people end up turning to homeopathic remedies in an effort to naturally balance and help heal their bodies, as well as their minds.
One of the most popular and effective treatment methods comes from the ancient Chinese alternative medicine field of acupressure. The simple act of applying focused pressure to various points on our bodies does wonders to dissolve away aches, pains, tension, and built up stresses that are bogging us down.
Acupressure works by stimulating the thousands of nerves in the body, thereby increasing blood flow. Human feet alone have over 15,000 nerves and they all connect to form a network that reaches different areas of the body, like the main organs and glands.
Many have found that by using simple acupressure massage techniques at home they could dramatically relieve pain and discomfort caused by common ailments. People have successfully treated their migraines, headaches, back pain, digestion and sleep issues, and more by massaging different body points associated with the area in which the problem stems from.
One such point is found on the hands and it’s primarily used to help relieve pain and discomfort stemming from headaches and migraines. The point is located right above the webbing between the thumb and index fingers on each hand.
To activate it, press firmly down on the point while massaging and rotating in a circular or back and forth motion for at least 30 seconds and up to a couple of minutes at a time. Make sure you are relaxed and comfortable, sit back and close your eyes, and breathe evenly in and out.
This may be done anywhere at anytime of the day and it can be repeated however many times you’d like. The accompanying video shows you exactly where and how this self-massage should be done and it also demonstrates a number of other pressure points that can be used for headache relief.
There are many additional acupressure treatments that are incredibly simple, convenient, easy to do, and don’t cost you a penny if done in the comfort of your home. If you’re hesitant or doubtful about whether or not acupressure could help you, try thinking about it like this; you have nothing to lose and potentially lots to gain by giving yourself a hand massage.
\At the very least you’ll feel more at ease, relaxed, and comfortable.

She Sculpted This Whole Cake Into A Rose Shape. But When Slices and Reveals The Inside? WOW!
image via – youtube.com
If you want to make an extra special Valentine’s Day treat, or simply a gorgeous looking dessert, you have to try your hand at this rose cake recipe. It’s basically a work of art and even though it looks really hard to make, it can be accomplished.
All you have to do is follow along and watch what Vanessa from Cake Style does in this video tutorial and copy her every step of the way. She also included some really helpful links to the other recipes she used to make the cakes, frosting, and modeling chocolate, so be sure to check them all out.
Before you can begin decorating you’ll need to bake two 6 inch round cakes ahead of time and whip up a batch of sweet butter cream frosting. Add some red food dye to color it pink or red and then make a batch of the modeling chocolate that she uses.
Modeling chocolate is similar to fondant in that it’s easy to mold, shape, and add color to, but it’s made from mainly melted white chocolate and corn syrup which makes it taste a lot better. The main issue with fondant is that it tastes gross, so modeling chocolate is definitely the way to go.
Once you have those three main components you’ll need to gather up a few things including a large spatula, bread knife, metal or plastic scraper, small rolling pin, 3 ¾ inch round cake plate, 12 inch square cake board, cornstarch, small paintbrush, Exacto knife, water or clear alcohol, toothpick, parchment paper, cutting board, turntable, and 2¾, 2½, and 3¾ inch cookie cutters.
It may sound like a lot, but all of these things will make your cake turn out looking like a professional made it. The decorating instructions are best left to Vanessa to explain and this is something you truly have to see in order to understand and replicate it.
She does an excellent job describing everything that you’ll need to know and by the time your done you’ll have a seriously sweet looking rose cake.
Try it out, even if it turns out less than perfect, it’s the thought that counts. Plus, it’ll still be edible!

He Begins Cutting Potatoes In A Strange Shape Then Puts Them In A Pan. When He’s Done YUM!
image via – youtube.com
One of the most popular and versatile food items that’s readily available and can be found at virtually any local grocery store is potatoes. Just like corn, rice, and wheat, potatoes rank among the world’s top grown crops and most widely consumed foods.
They are easy to whip up and a simple potato can be transformed and prepared lots of different ways. They can be served hot or cold and people love them mashed, baked, fried, hashed, steamed, chipped, and so on.
This recipe uses a combination of frying and baking to cook potatoes into a golden, delicious perfection. It’s super easy and unless your European, chances are you may not have heard of it yet. They’re called fondant potatoes and in the dead of winter when it’s freezing cold, they hit the spot. Here’s how you make them:
You’ll need russet potatoes, butter, vegetable oil, chicken stock, salt and pepper, and thyme (optional). Begin by cleaning and cutting the ends off the potatoes. Take one and turn it up on end before carefully slicing down the sides to remove the peel, as if you were skinning a pineapple, so you end up with an octagonal-type shape.
Cut it evenly in half and then slice up the rest before soaking them in a bowl of cold water for 5 minutes and pat them completely dry with a paper towel. Heat about two tablespoons of vegetable or grape-seed oil in a skillet over high and place the potatoes in when the oil is hot enough and appears shimmery.
Lower the heat to medium-high and cook for about 5-6 minutes, or until browned, and sprinkle salt and pepper on top. Flip them over and blot the tops with a paper towel, then place a lump of butter and a few sprigs of thyme in the pan.
Spoon some melted butter over the tops and sprinkle more salt and pepper on. When the butter starts to brown up, pour ½ a cup of chicken stock in the skillet and place that in a preheated 425 degree oven.
Roast it for 30-35 minutes or until the potatoes are thoroughly cooked all the way through and are tender on the inside. Drizzle any leftover thyme butter over the tops and allow them to cool before serving.
If you follow the recipe above, you’ll end up with beautiful looking oven roasted potatoes that are creamy on the inside and browned, crusty, and golden shelled on the outside. Let your taste buds tingle and try them tonight, bon appetit!

This Boy Lost 75% Of His Vision Because Of This Popular Toy That Almost Everyone Owns!
image via – shutterstock.com
Many people have laser pointers in their homes, and don’t think twice about leaving them around, where kids of any age could play around with them. Although lasers are frequently used in toys, they have been regulated so that they do not have the same radiation as laser pointers.
However, you will hear in the video you are about to watch below, that even those lasers have inherent dangers when toys are broken. A warning to all parents, has recently been issued from optometrists in Australia, saying: laser pointers ARE NOT toys.
This warning came about after a 14-year-old boy was seen after he pointed a laser pen into his eyes for only a short period of time. His vision was permanently damaged, losing 75% of his 20/20 vision forever!
The laser had burned his retina near the back of the eye, but as is common, no pain was experienced. The reason medical help was sought, was because macular damage was immediate, which caused severe visual impairment.
Damage to the macula from laser burning, glasses nor surgery can ever restore this boy’s central vision, which allows for visual acuity needed for reading, driving etc. Laser pointers should never get in the hands of children, as is discussed in the following footage.
Broken toys which have FDA approved laser strength, can become just as dangerous when broken.

If You Use Scented Candles In Your House You May Want To Stop Right NOW! The Reason Is Scary!
image via – shutterstock.com
Many people love having candles on hand around the house. Scented ones make the air smell wonderful and certain types, such as citronella ones, help to keep the bugs away. People often use them to add a little warm ambiance to a room or they keep a few close by in case the power goes out.
Some people love candles so much they burn through several a week and place them everywhere, they just can’t get enough. Chances are you have a few candles somewhere in your house and if they are scented you may want to think twice before lighting them up.
A recent study has found that many scented candles contain dangerous ingredients which are harmful to human health. Professor Alastair Lewis of the National Centre for Atmospheric Science at the University of York carried out the study which uncovered the disturbing results.
His research suggests that a common ingredient used to give candles their scent, called limonene, changes into formaldehyde when burned. The potential for danger here is great, because Formaldehyde is highly toxic and the levels at which it was found to be present were alarming.
Limonene is most often found in citrus-scented candles where it’s used to give them a lemony lime type of smell. You’ve probably smelled limonene before because it’s commonly used to scent air fresheners and cleaning products and it’s even safe enough to flavor food with.
However, the problem is that when its molecular structure is altered, it can easily turn into formaldehyde. This occurs when limonene is released into the air, where it comes into contact and reacts with the naturally occurring ozone.
This contact is what alters the limonene molecules and changes them into Formaldehyde. Because modern homes are tightly sealed up, there is little to no air circulation, and the formaldehyde gets trapped indoors.
Over time it lingers in the air and builds up, causing long term harm and damage to any people who may happen to breathe it in. The effects of formaldehyde on human health are toxic. It’s thought to be carcinogenic and is known to be corrosive, poisonous, and combustible.
Exposure to it can damage our respiratory tracts and cause sore throats, nosebleeds, coughs, and a burning, stinging sensation in eyes. It’s best to avoid it all together, and that means not burning any scented candles that may contain limonene.
If you absolutely must or feel the need to burn scented candles, open a window and get some air flow going. That greatly reduces the build up of formaldehyde in the room and cuts down on the amount you may end up breathing in.
Hopefully candle makers will change the way they make scented candles now that this study is out and people are gaining awareness of it. Please spread the word and pass this along to friends and family so that they also know how bad these candles can be.

This Boy Felt Sick And Doctors Thought He Just Had A Bad Cold. Then They Noticed THIS
image via – youtube.com
This is a cautionary tale for all parents, grandparents and any childcare giver. When we have kids we are careful to childproof our homes, hoping to safeguard our children from getting into anything harmful. Children fill our lives with so much love; the downside of loving someone so much is the fear that anything could hurt them.
The Rauch family tragically discovered that there is no way to avoid all risk of danger despite the fact that they had tried to do so. Four years ago, their then 1-year-old son Emmett, became ill with what they initially thought was a bad cold.
Strangely his condition kept getting worse until this sweet little boy ended up in critical condition fighting for his life. The video you are about to watch below was made by Emmett’s parents so that they could make other parents aware of a little known danger that lurks in remote controls and other electronics.
They never thought twice about their little boy playing with the remote control until the unthinkable happened; he swallowed a small button-like lithium battery after he easily removed the back of the TV remote. They want to share this danger with everyone, as Emmett nearly lost his life from this tragic accident.
Emmett’s condition went from cold-like symptoms to a high fever and lethargy that led his parents to bring him to the ER. An x-ray revealed the swallowed battery which had leaked acid, severely damaging Emmett’s esophagus and digestive tract.
This courageous little boy has survived 65 surgeries in the past four years; his condition has improved greatly, but as you will hear his mom discuss in this video, Emmett will have a lifetime of physical problems, due to the damage suffered from the battery.
The Rauch’s have told their story in this video, in the hopes that it will be shared with many people and perhaps save a child’s life. That is also why they started an organization, “Emmett’s fight”, to help raise awareness of the danger that lurks in these tiny button like batteries, that are so attractive to a curious young child.

This Is Actually What Your Farts Reveal About The Overall Health Of Your Body!
image via – shutterstock.com
There is a quick and easy way to gain insight into your overall general health. All you have to do is pay attention to your farts. It may sound strange, but your gaseous emissions can reveal a lot more than you’d ever imagine about your bodily health and wellness.
Doctors and scientists have uncovered a lot of great information on what the different odors and types of toots can reveal about what’s going on inside our bodies. In particular, it can help us know whether our digestive system and gastrointestinal tract are functioning normally, or if there may be a problem.
First, it’s best to be familiar with what exactly farts are. They’re basically basically a mix of air we ingest and gases produced by bacteria in the lower intestine. When we breathe, we sometimes end up swallowing air, and certain foods and carbonated beverages are also sources of the air that winds up in our digestive systems.
That air accumulates and needs to exit the body, which it does through either burps out the mouth or farts out the other end. The gasses in your intestine are created as the bacteria in them digest and break down sugars and starches.
Like swallowed air, it too builds up and needs to be released. If you pass gas normally and regularly it means you’re healthy and as long as you’re comfortable when it happens, it should be fine. By monitoring flatulence activities you can pick up on any changes or abnormal occurrences in your health.
This helps you to be more aware of any potential issues going on inside you that are causing your farts to suddenly smell different. If you find that all of a sudden you’re passing really stinky gas, that’s smellier than usual, this could be a sign that there’s something off balance going on inside you.
Maybe your gut bacteria is out of whack or your not eating healthy enough. If you’re experiencing a lot of frequent gas, that smells extremely foul and even you find it offensive, it could be related to a chronic problem like gastroenteritis, celiac disease, or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
The word “frequent” here means more than average, which is about 20 farts a day for most people. However, what is average for one person may be alarming to another since farting is quite subjective and varies from person to person.
Beyond smells, the timing of farts also matter. People who are lactose intolerant have to pass gas right after they eat anything dairy. A majority of people are lactose intolerant to a degree, so if this happens to you and it’s accompanied by a lot of discomfort, tell your doctor and get it checked out.
Frequent tooting can also be a sign of an underlying food allergy and/or wheat intolerance. Listen to your body and keep track of how certain foods make you feel right after consuming them. Furthermore, it’s important to note that not all smelly gas is bad or a sign of ill health.
It’s inevitable that some of your farts will smell nasty because about 1% of the gas generated by intestinal bacteria smells like hydrogen sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide has a distinctively acrid odor that stinks, it’s similar to that of rotten eggs, and when you release it everyone near you will notice.
The source of this malodorous gas is often healthy foods, like broccoli, beans, cauliflower, dairy and red meat, so if those foods are in your diet and what you’re passing is stinky, don’t be alarmed because it’s normal.
Once you’re familiar with what’s normal it’s much easier to spot, or rather smell, any potential issues or irregularities. So do your body a favor and familiarize yourself with the smells it produces and don’t forget to pass this along to family and friends as well. The more everyone knows, the better!

The Next Time You Get A Bad Bruise Grab A Bag Of Marshmallows. The Reason I Had No Idea!
image via – shutterstock.com
The age old trick of placing an ice pack or a bag of frozen peas on a bruised body part is something most everyone has done at some point in life. In medical terms it’s what is known as a form of cold compression.
The reason why we do this is that when an ice cold object is pressed on the affected area it works to greatly reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation. Our bodies heal and recover faster and your pain and discomfort is alleviated.
Any cold object can be used, but the most common things people reach for is frozen gel packs, bags of veggies, and ice cubes is a bag. When you don’t have any gel packs or veggies on hand the go to method is almost always ice cubes.
If you’ve ever used the ice in a plastic bag method, then you know how much of a pain and messy it can be. The cubes are awkward and slide all around as they melt so it’s hard to keep them on the bruised area.
Young children usually complain about them too, because pressing slippery, freezing cold blocks of ice on bumps and bruises can be painful and it quickly gets annoying.
There is a much better alternative that you can and should use for a cold compress, and kids of all ages will love it. All you need to do is stick a bag of marshmallows in the freezer for a few minutes and when they’re cold enough press them on whatever hurts.
Marshmallows are ideal for several reasons, one being that they’re able to quickly absorb cold. All it takes is a couple of minutes in the freezer and you’re good to go.
Another reason is that they are much softer than hard blocks of ice and can be easily squished onto and molded around awkward body parts like wrists, ankles, and elbows. A bag of them can even be used as a sort of cushioned support when weight is pressed down on it.
Whereas ice cubes will usually just slip all around and not stay in one place, the marshmallows won’t. What it comes down to is that tossing a bag of soft marshmallows in the freezer is an ideal alternative to using ice cubes and packs on a bruised area.
It’s a quick, low cost, re-usable, kid friendly, and when you’re done using them you have a tasty snack on hand to eat!
