This Is What Skin Tags Actually Are and Here Is The Easiest Way To Naturally Remove Them At Home
Finding a strange, irregular growth of skin anywhere on your body is cause for concern, but if it’s a skin tag then it need not be. Skin tags are soft, small, painless skin growths that can pop up just about anywhere. They are thankfully harmless and pose no known risk to humans. In fact, they are exceedingly common, so much so that practically everyone reading this right now will develop one or more at some point in their lifetime, if they haven’t yet already.
To spot a skin tag look for a raised flap of skin that appears to be either smooth or irregularly shaped. That is how they are most commonly described but they may appear as slight variations of this general description. In addition, skin tags often appear on the areas of our bodies where the skin naturally folds or creases which includes the eyelids, armpits, neck, groin, and under breasts. It is because of these locations that it’s believed they are somehow formed from skin rubbing on or against skin. Also, certain types of people are much more susceptible to forming skin tags. Those who are obese, as well as middle-aged adults, have higher incidence rates of skin tags and may have between 1 and 100+ on their body.
Overall, skin tags are completely harmless. There are reports of discomfort and irritation but this is often caused by shaving, other skin conditions like eczema, or jewelry and clothing rubbing against them.
The main issue with the little skin growths is that people find them to be very ugly and unattractive. That’s why they often look for ways to get rid of them for good and resort to some pretty gruesome means of doing so. People have tried cutting and tying them off and freezing them as well. While these methods often work, they must be done by a trained medical professional under clean, sterile conditions. If not, the patient risks infection, permanent scarring, or an even more serious medical issue.
Instead of self-mutilating or spending a lot of money visiting the doctor, there is a much less drastic and more affordable way to easily remove skin tags by yourself in the comfort of your own home. This removal method involves only one simple thing, apple cider vinegar. In the accompanying YouTube video Dr. Doug Willen explains exactly how to treat your skin tags with the home remedy. Here’s a step by step breakdown of the information he outlines:
1. Take a bottle of apple cider vinegar and use it to thoroughly soak a cotton ball.
2. Rub the cotton ball right on top of the skin tag(s) at least 2 – 3 times per day. You want to saturate the area and can do even more applications if you wish to.
3. Do this each and every day successively for one week or longer if needed. As time passes, the skin tag should begin to appear darker until it eventually turns black and falls off.

Cops Are Now Warning People To Take A Picture Of Your Hotel Room Right When You Walk Through The Door.
In the United States alone there are more than one million people enslaved today. Many of them were brought into the country by smugglers who specialize not in drugs, but in human trafficking.
According to the U.S. State Department, every year between 600,000 and 800,000 people are trafficked across the country’s borders, half of them are children and 8 out of 10 are female. They are a fraction of the estimated 21 million people who have been trafficked around the world according the UNICEF, and demand for slavery and cheap labor has been steadily increasing.
The numbers are shocking and eye-opening, they reflect the fact that human trafficking has now become the world’s fasted growing crime. In terms of scope and industry size it ranks third internationally, behind only illegal drugs and arms trafficking.
The demand for cheap labor and sexual exploitation are the primary driving forces behind human trafficking. Victims are modern day slaves who are being held against their will, abused, abducted, coerced, or threatened into compliance. They face unimaginable horrors and treatment at the hands of their abusers and yet most people can’t even image that this sort of crime is occurring every single day all across America, even in their own neighborhood.
Part of what makes human trafficking so hard to detect and investigate is that victims are constantly being moved around. Traffickers rarely stay in one spot, instead they change locations frequently to evade law enforcement and make it super hard for authorities to track them down. That’s also why they use hotel rooms. Not only do hotels afford criminals easy and convenient places to hide, they are perfect because rooms can be paid for in cash. Statistics show that the majority of all trafficking crimes take place in hotel rooms. When traffickers bring their victims to a new hotel room they usually take a picture of them and upload it online as a type of advertisement. That’s where the TraffickCam App comes into play.
TraffickCam takes user submitted photos of their hotel rooms and compiles them into an efficient, comparative search database. When traffickers post their photos online, authorities can search them against the database and therefore use it to try and find a match. Everything in the photos that app users submit, from the wallpaper patterns, carpeting, artwork, and the view outside the windows can be used to match and find where traffickers pictures were taken.
Here’s how it works: Download the free app to your smartphone and the next time you stay at a hotel snap 4 quick pictures of your room. When you submit them include the name of the hotel you’re staying at and the room number. You can do this when you’re leaving and these images are then added to the database. One day in the future, your picture could help to identify and locate victims and their traffickers. It only takes less than a minute and yet it may make all the difference in the world to someone out there who desperately needs help.
Please watch the accompanying video for more information on the human trafficking epidemic and how the TraffickCam app works. Be sure to pass this along to friends and family as well, the more people who are aware of the issue and who use the app, the better the chances of it saving lives.

How To Watch This The Stunning Orionid Meteor Showers When They Peak On October 20-21, 2016
Look up at the sky this coming Thursday and Friday because the Orionid meteor shower will be in full effect with shooting stars streaking across the heavens! The annual shower has been known to put on a spectacular light show in years past and it officially peaks on October 20-21st.
Ever since October 2nd our planet has been moving through the debris trail left by Halley’s Comet and on November 7th it finally exits it. All the shooting stars you see and make wishes on are actually teeny bits of rock and tiny pieces of ice which fell off the comet and burn up as they enter the Earth’s atmosphere. This year astronomers are predicting that anywhere from 15-20 meteors per hour will zip through the sky but there could very well be an unexpected burst of activity! We won’t know for sure until the time comes.
Speaking of time, the best times to view the Orionids are from midnight onward through the early morning darkness. Prime viewing hours are expected to fall between one and three a.m. which is well before the sun rises at dawn.
This meteor shower also happens to be visible from anywhere on Earth so it doesn’t matter where you live, you can simply tilt your head back to see them flash across the sky. While it’s best to look in the direction where the meteors come from, which is in the constellation Orion, many of us don’t know where or how to find it. Professional or advanced star gazers are advised to locate the super shiny bright star Betelgeuse, which is located in the constellation of Orion. For those less acquainted with the night sky, you can use your cell phone as a navigation tool by downloading an app that tells you exactly where it is in the universe. All you need to do is point your phone at the sky and it charts, identifies, and maps exactly what you’re looking at. There are a number of these astronomy apps available, including SkySafari and Star Walk, both are excellent and easy to use.
For optimal results, once you locate Orion look slightly away from it because the meteors closest to it will have short tails and thus appear fainter than the rest. You’ll also want to find a quiet, open spot away from any light pollution. The number one rule of star gazing is the darker the skies, the better the viewing!
Since the moon will be in a waning gibbous phase that evening, the light from it will definitely cause some interference with the shower. Be sure to check your local forecast as well but as long as the sky is clear you should be able to see some shooting stars. Check out the accompanying video for more information on the Orionids and mark your calendar so you don’t forget!
This meteor shower presents an awesome opportunity for you to gather up your loved ones, and don’t forget any pets, to get outside and do some sky gazing. Drink some apple cider, wine, or cocoa and make it a nice relaxing evening under the stars!

The Simplest Way To Save Any Baby Who Is Choking.
image via – youtube.com
All children are delicate, but newborn babies are especially so because they are at their most fragile stage in life. Infants must be handled with care and monitored closely by parents and caretakers in order to keep them as safe as can be, you just never know when a potential hazard might pop up.
Out of all the risks to newborns and infants, choking is one of the biggest ones. According to the New York State Department of Health, children under 5 are at the greatest risk of choking and it’s the fourth leading cause of unintentional death among them. In the majority of cases, food is the most common cause but toys and other small objects can pose a choking hazard as well. Kids love picking up random things they find around the house and oftentimes they end up sticking those items in their mouths. Even if you baby-proof play areas and supervise infants, there is always a chance they could choke on something they find or eat.
To put the issue in perspective a young child’s windpipe is comparable to the diameter of a drinking straw in terms of size, and their throats aren’t much wider. Things can easily get stuck or lodged in their throats. If that should ever happen would you know what to do?
Most people have absolutely no clue about what they should do if a baby is choking. That’s alarming in light of one survey conducted by first aid charity St John Ambulance, which found that over 40% of parents had witnessed their own baby choke. They also found that over four-fifths of the parents they questioned didn’t know what to do or how to respond to a choking baby.
Those numbers are what spurred the charity to make the accompanying public service advert in the form of an animated video. It’s a wonderful way to instruct and visually demonstrate exactly what you need to do if a baby chokes or stops breathing. The animated characters take you through the hazards and the steps so you can be prepared if/when this ever happens to you. Here is exactly what the video instructs you to do:
“If your baby is choking, lay them face down on your thigh. Then one gives up to five back blows. If that doesn’t work, turn them over and give them up to 5 chest thrusts….until the airway is clear. And if that still doesn’t work, call an ambulance.” It’s basic and it takes less than a minute to watch the video which will imprint on your mind, stay with you for longer, and make it easy to remember. People everywhere need to see this so they know how to respond to a choking infant, regardless of whether or not they have a young baby at home. Please share this information and educational video with friends and family and help put the health and safety of children everywhere first.

She Notices Her Pups Sleeping In Their House, Turns On The Camera and Gets an Unexpected Surprise
Our pet companions do all sorts of adorable things that make us laugh and smile. Their antics are what endears them to us and our lives definitely wouldn’t be nearly as happy or enjoyable without them around!
Dogs seem to be especially comedic in nature, they’re always surprising their owners and doing hilarious things. Even when they’re getting into trouble, going through the trash, or running away and being bad, they somehow manage to retain their innocence and cuteness!
Thankfully for Gretchen Hoey her dogs are well-behaved, but that doesn’t make them any less funny. She was searching around the house for her Basset Hounds one day when she stumbled upon them clowning around. They had all managed to somehow cram their stout little bodies into one of their dog houses on the porch and when Gretchen got closer they all jumped up and began pouring out.
One by one they exited the Dogloo and they just kept coming. It’s like the canine version of a clown car! By the end of it all she counts them and it turns out that five of her Basset Hounds had squeezed into the one little dog house. It doesn’t even seem physically possible, but with dogs, anything’s possible!

Are You Able To Pass This Dementia Test? Find Out..
image via – playbuzz.com
Dementia is on the rise and so is the information on what we know and understand about it. Scientists are uncovering all sorts of new and interesting data on the condition, with studies coming out constantly. Many of the latest developments are less than positive and link common ailments and medicines to an increased risk of developing dementia later in life.
According to the Mayo Clinic, every year in the United States alone more than three million Americans are diagnosed with it. However, there is a lot of misunderstanding surrounding dementia and many people are confused as to what exactly it entails. This is because there’s no one disease or ailment that causes it. Rather, the Online Oxford Dictionary defines dementia as “a chronic or persistent disorder of the mental processes caused by brain disease or injury and marked by memory disorders, personality changes, and impaired reasoning.”
To be diagnosed with having it, a patient must show impaired ability of at least 2 brain functions. The symptoms vary and include memory loss, depression, paranoia, restlessness, irritability, confusion, jumbled or impaired speech, anxiety, sudden personality changes, general mental decline, and an inability to speak, understand, or recognize things. There are a number of additional ones not listed here, but the majority of symptoms seem to fall within the cognitive and behavioral range.
Furthermore, dementia is not a rapid onset type of condition. It comes on gradually and tends to progress with age, which is why it’s so much more common in adults over age sixty. Even so, some symptoms can be reversed if detected early on and people are urged to exercise not only their bodies, but also their minds and brains. Doing word puzzles, search images, crosswords, and other similar types of games help to keep your mind activated and memory sharp.
This sample dementia test will do exactly that. It uses real questions from a variety of dementia tests to examine both your cognitive skills and memory retention abilities. To be clear, this is not diagnostic in any way, shape, or form. Try it now to see if whether or not you can pass it!
