She Heard Scratching At Her Door Opened It And Saw THIS. Moments Later an Unexpected Surprise!

When you hear someone at your front door unexpectedly, you usually assume it’s the mailman, UPS or FedEx.  Sometimes you worry that it’s someone trying to sell you something, so you peek around to check it out before you actually open the door.

The two women who were home certainly never expected to see an animal staring at them!  Well maybe a stray dog or cat could be within the realm of expectation, but certainly not the exotic creature that was gazing up at them.

A baby owl!?!  What in the world?  Not only is it rare to see an owl up close, but to find one at your front door is astounding!  The women coo and talk to this unexpected visitor in sheer wonder.  What is he doing at their front door?  “Hello Mr. Owl” one woman says, half expecting that he will offer a greeting or an explanation.

What she was doing during this “owl banter” was figuring out what to do with this baby, who barely moved and just kept staring at her.  She knew better than to handle him, and started to worry about his safety.  She decided to call the local bird sanctuary to come help the seemingly lost baby owl.

This was a great decision, as it turned out the poor little thing had fallen out of it’s nest, and hadn’t yet learned to fly!  He needed to be returned to his mom before his life was endangered.  Thank goodness this women did the right thing.  Enjoy the video below of this mesmerizing encounter.

Watch An Owl Swooping Down On Top Of This Cat.

So here’s an unlikely duo who become friends.  Fum, a cute little black cat and Gebra, a barn owl, often a bird of prey.  Set to a great Portuguese tune, this video is one of the most delightful, entertaining ones I’ve stumbled upon in a while. I don’t think I have ever seen an interspecies friendship that compliments each other so much.

Owls and cats as strange as it may sound just seem like they belong together! They meet and check each other out in many different ways.  Both are skeptical of the other, but as time goes on they begin to romp through the countryside. They are just like two kids playing outside!

Their unlimited playground gives them the opportunity to enjoy the possibilities of their species in the most fascinating ways. Nature again never ceases to amaze me.

I can see why the video has had nearly  million views on YouTube.  Watching these two enjoy a “playdate” without boundaries, with such clever antics, is truly hilarious.  It’s so amazing we can all enjoy this amazing friendship! Enjoy their spontaneity and pass it on to all the animal lovers you know!

You are in for a real treat with this one! Enjoy!

This Owl Poops On His Friend. Now Watch The Hysterical Confused Look On His Face When He Realizes.

Every animal excretes waste in one way or another, the most common method being out the rear end. It’s basically a universal law of nature that food goes in one end and comes out somewhere else. While the subject of poo tends to be viewed as impolite to speak about in public discussions, the fact remains that it’s an essential bodily function that we all need and rely on to stay healthy.

Not to mention it just tends to be a hysterical subject matter regardless of the situation. In a world that seems to be getting more and more serious it’s always a good idea to lighten the mood with some old fashioned comedy. Finding humor in peace in the world today is a skill that all people should seek to master!

Best selling books have even been written on the topic, like the one titled Everyone Poops, which certainly rings true in this short video clip. As you can see there are two adorable little owls perched up on a rooftop next to one another. They’re just enjoying a moment of relaxation and hanging out together, taking in the sights and sounds around them on what looks like a beautiful day. A nice breeze is blowing the sun is shining and this duo couldn’t look more content with their situation. That is until nature calls and the afternoon takes a sudden turn that neither of them expected!

When one of the owls turns to leave he does something completely unexpected… and gross. He does a half spin, lifts his tail feathers, takes a dump all over the roof, then flies off! His buddy is unfortunately perched lower down on the slope and all the poo runs down the the roof, right into him.

When the poor owl notices that he just got pooped on he seems to be in shock, like he cannot believe that just happened. Check out his face and reaction, it’s priceless and makes you feel like you know exactly what’s going through his mind!

Nobody Believed Her When She Described Her Owls Nightly Ritual. So She Caught THIS Video

What is cuter than a baby owl dancing to the song “Monster Mash” alongside a look-alike stuffed owl animal toy? Nothing. As this video shows, the scene is one of absolute adorableness, mixed in with some sweet dance moves and head bobbing. This bird will melt and steal your heart, he just looks so innocent and nice.

The little star of the clip is an orphaned Great Horned Owl whose temporary name was Oakley. The baby bird was being cared for at a wildlife rehabilitation center that specializes in birds of prey. Oakley was given the stuffed animal puppet so he would have something to cuddle up with.

According to the comments, the bird loved the plush toy and liked to rest against it because it helped make him relax. The man caring for him did his best to keep Oakley wild and unaccustomed to humans. He would hide himself to keep from being seen by placing a camouflaged sheet over his body and cut out holes just for his eyes.

When it was time to feed Oakley he made a Great Horned Owl call, mimicking exactly what a mother owl would do. The cute baby was subsequently placed with 3 other juvenile orphans of his species, and they all learned more about how to properly live the owl life. Before they were released some two months later they were taught how to catch live prey.

The story was updated and the man who posted it added in the comments that by the time Oakley flew off into the night he was “quite mean and didn’t like humans.” It turns out that juvenile owls are just like a typical teenager, ungrateful and rude. All jokes aside, it’s best for Oakley to not depend on people or be drawn to them.

The Raptor Rehabber channel on YouTube is a wonderful source of information and videos on all things raptor related. For those unfamiliar with the term, “raptor” basically means ‘bird of prey’ and refers to any bird who hunts and eats other animals. Eagles, hawks, falcons, and buzzards are a few of the well known kinds and they are the apex predators of the sky.

These birds both depend on and need to have exceedingly sharp vision, knife-like talons, and powerful beaks to survive. Owls are another type of raptor that are categorized separately. They are nocturnal birds of prey who emerge and hunt mainly under the cover of darkness all throughout night.

Owls have developed the ability to fly almost completely silently. This ninja-like aspect of their flight is all thanks to the structure of their feathers, it reduces turbulence and makes them practically undetectable to prey until it’s too late.

When their silent flight is combined with their perceptively keen hearing abilities, it makes them one deadly accurate hunter. Hopefully Oakley is somewhere out there in the wild, doing his “Monster Mash” dance, and bobbing his head around.

They Caught An Eagle Owl On Cam In Flight. Now Watch The Unexpected Strange Place He Lands!

If you ever hear a call in the night that sounds like a “who” then an owl is likely nearby. The beautiful birds are incredibly smart and adaptable, and some are even quite friendly towards humans. One European Eagle Owl from the woods around the town of Noordeinde in the Netherlands has been caught on camera swooping down onto people’s heads.

The majestic owl has been seen and documented landing atop different people’s noggins on several occasions. The six pound bird does not try to harm or hurt anyone in the process, and has now become world famous for his friendliness.

The social bird can be seen in action on a YouTube video uploaded by user ijsselduo. In it a group of people are gathered outside at dusk taking pictures of the famous bird. The beautiful and regal looking owl sits atop someone’s house and from the high vantage point he spots a pretty blonde head that would make for a great perch.

He takes off and as he swoops down towards the woman she puts her hood on, and remains very still, as if she knows he is coming in for a landing. Seconds later the owl is perched atop his lady friend and making himself comfortable. He adjusts his position and looks around for a quick moment, staying just long enough to pose for a few photos. Then he is off to find another head to roost on!

The sight is something you don’t get to see everyday, or ever. This particular eagle-owl has made a name for himself and seems to be a ladies man. Check out the cool video show your friends.

This Owl Poops On His Friend. His Reaction Is Priceless!

Nature never ceases to amaze me. From the mountains, to the forests, to the vast oceans and the never ending skies there are so many wondrous and majestic sights to see. There are beautiful sunsets, flowers in full bloom, and in this case a jerk owl pooping on his best buddy! 🙂

These 2 owls must be pretty good friends if this is how they treat each other. We all do weird stuff with our friends but this has to be some of the weirdest friendship moments I have ever seen.  The look on the owls face after he realizes that he just got pooped on is absolutely priceless.

I had to watch this twice because it’s just so ridiculous.  I just can’t stop laughing, for some reason this classic owl slapstick comedy will never ever get old! Enjoy and try not to do this to your friends!
