Mother Heard Strange Sounds On Baby Monitor.

Some people dream of being a mother their whole life. Ever since Bernita Roger’s was a little girl she had looked forward to the day when she’d have children of her own to raise. After marrying her high school sweetheart Roy, the two set out to become parents. However, the couple struggled and their dreams of starting a family were crushed after Bernita suffered a series of miscarriages.
After all the heartbreak Bernita set aside her plans of being pregnant. She decided that for the time being she would adopt, not a baby but instead a pet. Feeling depressed, she just knew that having a furry animal companion was what she needed in her life and was set to go look a puppy at the local shelter.
Before she could even go to the animal rescue center fate stepped in. Bernita was out in her garden one day when a black cat appeared and started to rub against her legs. The friendly feline was a stray but not for long because she fell in love with the kitty and adopted him on the spot. She brought the cat inside and ended up naming him Midnight after his shiny black coat.
Soon after Midnight had joined the Rodgers family Bernita and Roy learned that she was pregnant again. The unplanned pregnancy was a blessing and nine months later a healthy baby girl named Stacey was born. When Midnight first met the new baby it was love at first sight and he was always close by.
The new parents were extremely protective of their little miracle baby and watched over her closely. When Stacey was just 6 weeks old she suddenly became ill and after checking her out a pediatrician told Bernita it was just a common cold. She took her baby home and had put her down for a nap when Midnight suddenly started acting very strange. He kept pawing at her legs and seemed to be trying in vain to get her attention, but she brushed him off thinking not much of it.
Midnight ran away and moments later she heard him screeching and crying over the baby monitor. His strange moans sounded terrible and scared Bernita who jumped up and quickly ran to the baby’s room. When she got there, she found the cat near the crib and when she looked in to check on Stacey, she noticed something was terribly wrong. The baby was struggling to breathe and starting to turn blue.
Bernita and Roy rushed baby Stacey to the hospital and because of their quick action doctors were able to save her after she went into full respiratory failure. If not for Midnight’s insistent crying alerting them to the dire situation, she may not have been so lucky.
Midnight’s story was shared on YouTube and it brought a lot of media attention and interest. Even Oprah Winfrey contacted the couple and they made an appearance on her show. As for Midnight, he and Stacey are inseparable, they’re each other’s best friend, and he’s always by her side.

The video below is a great tutorial for how to easily, inexpensively and quickly make your own fresh and chemical-free deodorizer. Two alternative versions are demonstrated, which differ slightly in how they release the fragrance.

In a spray bottle container mix together 2 parts isopropyl alcohol with 1 part water and then add in 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap. Shake it up, spray it directly onto an icy windshield, and watch the ice literally melt away right before your very eyes!
This rubbing alcohol spray is the perfect thing to have on hand for freezing cold mornings and icy windshields. You can leave the bottle in your car and it won’t even freeze, unless it gets well under zero. That’s because the freezing point of isopropyl alcohol is -128.2 degrees Fahrenheit, so when you spray it on the ice, it doesn’t freeze up. Instead, it helps to melt the ice and keeps it from re-freezing. Since all you have to do is mist it on, it’s by far the quickest and easiest way to clear a windshield that’s coated with a thick layer of ice.

3) DIY Boot Inserts- Maintain the shape of tall boots by cutting a foam pool noodle into thirds or fourths, then stick a piece in each boot and they’ll stay upright, making them easier to organize and wear later on.
4) Stop Wipers From Freezing to a Car Windshield- Take an old pair of long cotton socks and slide them over each wiper, puling it down as far as it can go or reaches. This will prevent wipers from freezing and/or sticking to the windshield, and makes life all the more easier.
5) Organize Winter Gear- Hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, hand warmers, neck warmers and all other winter accessories can be neatly stored in one accessible place with a shoe organizer. Hang it over a door and never search for lost gloves again.
6) Windshield Treatment- This one is the best! A combination of vinegar and water works wonders at preventing frost and ice from building up on car windshields and windows. Mix the two liquids up in a spray bottle, spritz it on car windows, then wipe off with a soft cloth.
7) Boot Tray- Keep floors safe, clean, and dry by making your own boot tray. This one is much more appealing than commercially available ones and works even better. Fill a large metal cookie sheet with a layer of decorative rocks and put it near the door so that when people enter they can immediately place wet boots on the rocks. The water will drip through the rocks to the bottom and soon evaporate. Clean air vents with small foam brushes. They can easily fit in even the smallest vents and pick up all the dirt and dust inside them.
Use coffee filters to dust your car dashboard. Unlike cloth towels and paper towels, coffee filters won’t leave behind lint or just push dust around. Instead they work great at picking up dust and you can toss a few in the glove compartment for whenever you might need one to freshen up the dash.
Get streak free windows by cleaning them with newspaper. It’s the cloths and paper towels that leave streaks when you clean your windows so don’t even bother using them. Instead, spray down the window with cleaner and wipe it off with a piece of newspaper as you normally would.

This Family Went to See The Lions In Their Car.

Going on an African safari would be a dream come true for me and many others. The sight of beautiful wild animals roaming free in the wild in their natural habitat is a bound to be full of adventure and a once in a life time experience! It can also be very dangerous and scary whenever anyone ventures out freely into a safari park they need to follow all of the rules, stay alert, not tempt their fate, and lock all their car doors!
One group of tourists on safari in South Africa learned this lesson the hardest way ever. They were going through a drive-thru nature park, taking in all the sights and sounds the reserve had to offer, when they come across a pride of lions. The magnificent big cats were casually lounging in the shade and resting in order to escape the mid-day heat when the family pulled up next to them!
The tourists started doing what tourists do best and they began to gingerly snap pics and record a video of the rare encounter. That is when one interested lion decided to check them out. The curious cat got up and slowly walked to the back car door to take a peek inside the vehicle, only the window and door separated these two.
The family was naturally ecstatic and more than excited to capture the rare moment on film and video, and a little nervous as well. They were also completely oblivious as to what was about to happen next. They pulled forward a little and the lion followed. She approached the rear car door, bit down on the handle and pulled back, causing it to instantly swing wide open!
The occupants screamed in surprise and scrambled to quickly slam the door shut. Only after making sure it twas locked did they begin to breathe again. Thankfully, the smart lion’s attempt to get in the car was stopped and what a scary and crazy tale these park visitors caught on their video camera.
Who knew lions were so adept at opening things? Apparently the operators and park rangers know all too well that animals, lions especially, seem to have a knack and special skill for opening doors. That’s why it is a rule that all tourists must stay in their cars with the doors locked the entire time. It’s smart, easy, and very effective but apparently some people just don’t listen and put their lives in grave danger!

Every Night Before Bed He Puts A Bar of Soap Under His Sheets.
If you often have trouble falling asleep at night because no matter how much you toss and turn or what position you try you just cannot seem to get comfortable you may have restless legs syndrome (RLS). According to the Mayo Clinic, every year more than 3 million people in America are diagnosed with restless leg syndrome, which has no cure. Those who suffer from it experience different symptoms and degrees of RLS but most describe it as a very unpleasant and overwhelming urge to move their legs. Waking up in the middle of the night with painful leg cramps is also commonly reported and while the disorder mainly shows up in the legs, it can affect the head, arms, torso, and other parts of the body as well…
RLS is caused by disturbances in the nervous system and the disruptions can make a person’s legs and limbs jerk suddenly and move uncontrollably. The neurological disorder causes one to feel achy, strained, and painful, and it really just makes life miserable. Symptoms typically show up at night when people are sleeping or laying down attempting to fall asleep, which disrupts overall sleep patterns and drives sufferers even more crazy. The strange sensations people have reported feeling, like “an itch you can’t scratch” or something “crawling” on them, are only alleviated when they get up and move around, hence the term restless leg syndrome.
While there is no officially recognized medical cure for RLS, there does exist an all-natural treatment method that many people have found to be quite effective. All that it calls for is a simple bar of soap. Use a fresh bar that’s preferably unscented but any brand or kind will work so long as it’s new and not old or dried out. Stick the soap in-between the sheets or under the bottom fitted sheet and leave it there. Some people prefer to place the bar in a clean sock first to both protect their bed sheets and allow it to move around more freely. Either way is fine so choose what works best for you.
After a month goes by check the soap bar to see how it looks, if it’s shriveled up and dried out then it’s old and needs to be replaced with a fresh one. In the alternative, you can simply scrape off the outermost surface portion to reveal a fresh layer underneath. The key is to keep the bar fresh at all times because it’s believed that this method works by the soap releasing ions as it dries out. Once it’s all dried up, it stops working and releasing ions, and is therefore no longer effective.
While no scientific studies or research that explains, supports, or disproves the soap theory currently exist, a basic online search reveals countless testimonials from people all around the globe who swear by it. They claim that after sleeping with a bar of soap their excruciating, painful leg cramps and other unbearable RLS symptoms quickly disappeared all together, or at least enough to where they could sleep comfortably again. All they had to do was place a bar of soap in their bed sheets, sit back, relax, and let it do its magic.
If you have RLS or issues with leg cramps then try this method tonight because there’s nothing to lose and potentially lots to gain from it, like better sleep quality and more comfort. It’s cheap, easy, and reportedly very effective. Even if this home remedy doesn’t work for you at least you won’t be out hundreds of dollars, which is what a new mattress or alternative treatments and medicines can easily end up costing. If anything all that you’ll end up with is an extra bar of soap!

One fateful day a stray dog in Turkey was out and about wandering the streets. He had set out
on his daily search for food and water and was on alert for any scraps he could find. Despite having no
owner, the dog was nevertheless very social, any friendly person passing by him on the street could stop
to pet him if they wanted to.
While many countries view stray animals as pests, Turkey happens to treat stray cats and dogs
very well. The people there are known to take care of them and laws prohibiting the capture or killing of
them have been in place for many years. The Turkish people show a lot of love and respect towards
them, and many go out of their way to provide food, water, and medical care. Larger cities and
neighborhoods also work with citizens and organizations to humanely TNR (trap, neuter, and release)
the strays to help keep the population healthy and under control.
This particular dog’s travels had eventually led him to a local butchers shop where delicious cuts
of meat were being sold and displayed in the window. If he was lucky, a customer would perhaps share
with him a bone or a little piece of meat.
Inside the shop a woman named Annie had just bought several steaks. As she headed out the
door for home, she heard the unmistakable sound of a hungry tummy and when she glanced over, she
saw the dog looking back at her with those sad eyes that only a dog can make. Annie knew what the
dog wanted and was sympathetic to his needs, so she didn’t hesitate to go back to the butchers to get
him some scraps to eat.
When she came back outside, she offered the dog a bone she’d gotten, which he very cautiously
and slowly took from her. Instead of eating it right away, the dog walked off with it in his mouth. Annie
thought it was kind of strange he didn’t chow down right away, as he was clearly very hungry, but was
just happy to have helped.
The next day Annie happened to see the same stray dog on the street and when he saw her, he
immediately wagged his tail and perked up. Even though she was in a hurry, she still took time to get
him a snack and pet him. Once again, he took the food she offered and walked off, and as much as she
wanted to follow him, she had to be on her way.
When Annie saw the dog the next day, she came prepared with a little bag of treats. She gave
them to him and watched as he walked off without eating the food. Having no place to be, she decided
to find out what the dog was doing and followed him.
The stray led her to a busy street whereupon he headed straight over to a storm drain. He sat
down next to it and dropped a treat in before eating one himself. The next day the dog did the same
thing and seemed to be fixated on the drain. Annie was naturally curious about why the dog was
putting half of his much needed food into the drain and finally decided to take a look inside it.
After peering down into the drain, she was shocked to see tiny eyes looking back up at her! She
immediately called the fire department, and they were on the scene within half an hour to help free
whatever poor animal was down there. However, before they could open the drain, they had to get the
stray dog away from it. He was being protective of it and was wary of the firefighters and crowd that
had gathered around. Annie called him over to get a treat, with his tail wagging he went to her, then
she held him close so the firemen could get to work.
After several stressful minutes, the firemen reached into the drain and pulled something out. In
his arms was a tiny kitten! He did this four more times, each time coming up with another baby kitty,
until the whole litter was freed. At that point the stray dog couldn’t be held back anymore, he rushed
over to the kittens, wagging his tail and gently sniffing them to make sure they were okay. Annie stood
there in shock; she knew something was in the drain but never thought it’d be five kittens!
Somehow the stray kittens had gotten trapped in the drain, but because the stray dog had
shared his food with them and drawn Annie’s attention, they had survived! Annie knew exactly what to
do next. She told the firemen she would take the kittens home with her to raise until she could find
them forever homes of their own. With the kittens tucked safely in a carrier she headed home, but not
before turning to the stray dog. She said to him “come on Benny, we’re going home.” That’s all the dog
needed to hear. Wagging his tail, he jumped up and followed after her and the kittens towards his new
home!
Once the kittens were old enough, Annie adopted four of them out to good homes. One kitten,
that she named Fudge, was a foster failure she fell in love with and kept. In the end, all three of them
got the happiest ending their story could have.

Many people struggle to remove these stains and often think that they need strong, harsh chemical cleaners to get rid of them effectively. However, there’s a better and more affordable way to go about cleaning a shower head with crusted on mineral build up. All you need is apple cider vinegar, a Ziploc bag, and a rubber band.

If you have rough, dry skin on your feet rub a little Vaseline on them before you go to bed. Slather some all over your feet, then put on a pair of socks, and wake up to smooth soft skin. If the scent of your perfume disappears way too quickly take some Vaseline, apply a thin coat to the area where you plan to spritz it on, then spray the perfume over that area. In a spray bottle container mix together 2 parts isopropyl alcohol with 1 part water and then add in 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap. Shake it up, spray it directly onto an icy windshield, and watch the ice literally melt away right before your very eyes!
This rubbing alcohol spray is the perfect thing to have on hand for freezing cold mornings and icy windshields. You can leave the bottle in your car and it won’t even freeze, unless it gets well under zero. That’s because the freezing point of isopropyl alcohol is -128.2 degrees Fahrenheit, so when you spray it on the ice, it doesn’t freeze up. Instead, it helps to melt the ice and keeps it from re-freezing. Since all you have to do is mist it on, it’s by far the quickest and easiest way to clear a windshield that’s coated with a thick layer of ice.

5) Organize Winter Gear- Hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, hand warmers, neck warmers and all other winter accessories can be neatly stored in one accessible place with a shoe organizer. Hang it over a door and never search for lost gloves again.
6) Windshield Treatment- This one is the best! A combination of vinegar and water works wonders at preventing frost and ice from building up on car windshields and windows. Mix the two liquids up in a spray bottle, spritz it on car windows, then wipe off with a soft cloth.
7) Boot Tray- Keep floors safe, clean, and dry by making your own boot tray. This one is much more appealing than commercially available ones and works even better. Fill a large metal cookie sheet with a layer of decorative rocks and put it near the door so that when people enter they can immediately place wet boots on the rocks. The water will drip through the rocks to the bottom and soon evaporate. Having your car professionally detailed can easily end up being quite expensive. Clean your headlights with toothpaste. Use regular toothpaste, not the gel type, to polish up car headlight lenses by rubbing it on evenly with a cloth. Move in quick circular motions to then buff it off and you should notice the grime and fogginess disappear.
Remove stubborn old bumper stickers cleanly and completely with WD-40. Simply spray the sticker with WD-40 and let it sit for a while, the sticker will absorb it, then you can peel it right off.
Remove pet fur from carpets and seats with a spray bottle, water, and a squeegee. Spray the water on the seat and then move the squeegee over the area, it will gather and lift up the hair so you can easily pick it up.
Clean air vents with small foam brushes. They can easily fit in even the smallest vents and pick up all the dirt and dust inside them.
Use coffee filters to dust your car dashboard. Unlike cloth towels and paper towels, coffee filters won’t leave behind lint or just push dust around. Instead they work great at picking up dust and you can toss a few in the glove compartment for whenever you might need one to freshen up the dash.
Get streak free windows by cleaning them with newspaper. It’s the cloths and paper towels that leave streaks when you clean your windows so don’t even bother using them. Instead, spray down the window with cleaner and wipe it off with a piece of newspaper as you normally would.
Get rid of stubborn, lingering odors by sprinkling baking soda on car seats and carpets. Let it sit for a couple of hours before vacuuming it up. The baking soda should absorb the foul odors, leaving your car smelling fresh and clean.

He Wipes Steel Wool All Over This Windshield.

If you’ve ever owned, maintained, or driven an automobile, then you know how dirty and cloudy looking the windshield can get over time. The filmy layer forms because all of the dirt, dust, pollutants, bugs, tar, and other nasty road grime that you drive through gets blasted directly at the windshield! While most of it ends up bouncing off, some of it inevitably ends up sticking to the glass, especially bugs. However, it’s the teeny tiny minuscule particles that you don’t even see which add up and make the windshield look dirty, hazy, and hard to see out of.
Oftentimes a regular car wash will fail to remove this type of dirt build up and instead you’ll need to really scrub and work hard to clean it all off. Or, you can make your life easier by trying this simple and effective method that will leave you with a super clean windshield. The choice is easy, so here’s everything that you’ll need; rain-x, steel wool (*make sure to get the finest type available- which is 4 ott), two old cotton t-shirts or rags, and an old pair of cotton socks. Start off by taking a steel wool pad and rub it all over the glass.
If you use the finest type it won’t scratch it, but will still easily remove everything that’s stuck on the windshield including bugs, grime, and the notoriously tough water spots, which are a pain to get off. Keep rubbing for as long as it takes to completely clean, paying attention to any little spots that may be tougher than usual to get out. It may take you about 5-10 minutes to do this but the cleaner the better and longer lasting it will be.
The next step is to grab an old sock and soak it with rain-x. Do not skimp on this part! Apply it to the glass in circular, overlapping motions, making sure to cover every single spot on the windshield without getting any on the car paint. After it dries a little, apply a second rain-x coat right on top of the first one, and let that completely dry.
Take a rag and completely soak it with water, then wring it out so that it’s still quite wet but not so much that it’s dripping. Use it to wipe the glass to remove the rain-x film you applied on the windshield, and for this part you don’t need to press down hard or anything. Finally, take the other dry rag and wipe down the windshield again to completely dry it and you’re done!
If you try this your windshield will be incredibly clean, clear, and smooth to the touch. When it rains the water will slide right off and you won’t need to use the wipers nearly as much as you would have without this treatment. This also works for the rear windshield, side windows, and side view mirrors.
The gentleman in the video further suggests that you coat the wiper blades with rain-x as well to help make it last longer, since it tends to wear off quicker on the windshield from the blades constantly going across it. He also suggested “Invisible Glass” cleaner be used on the inside of windows because it’s far superior to regular glass cleaners and doesn’t leave behind any streaks.

I, myself, have stopped using those candles that I used to love, because of the inherent health hazard they carry. I’m always looking for natural alternatives that are chemical free, to provide a nice fresh smell in my home. When I came upon this DIY video for creating a natural air freshener I was intrigued.
The video below is a great tutorial for how to easily, inexpensively and quickly make your own fresh and chemical-free deodorizer. Two alternative versions are demonstrated, which differ slightly in how they release the fragrance.
For both versions, all you will need are: a MASON JAR WITH A TIN LID, HAMMER, FORK, EMPTY CANDLE CONTAINER, SCREWDRIVER, BAKING SODA AND SOME ESSENTIAL OIL. The DIY is easy to follow, and gives you a great means to slow-release a pleasant scent into any room in your home.

Have you ever wondered what your pet is actually thinking about? Many of us talk and sometimes even have full on conversations with our fur babies. But have you ever imagined what your pup would say back to you if they could speak in human language? The reactions that dogs have to not getting what they want are equally as complex as any persons, it’s just that they’re so much more adorable! The final edit turned out awesome and it’s the perfect mash up of dog movements and free flowing, casual conversation. It’s so spot on that it’s like the dog is actually speaking. This is one of the most well done videos I’ve ever seen on the internet. All the work that went into making this video totally paid off!
The topic that the man decided to explore was how his dog would react to the news that the delicious food he had taken out of the fridge earlier… was all gone! All dogs naturally love food and so they’d hate to hear that they wouldn’t be getting any tasty treats. I’d probably throw a mini tantrum too if I was this the poor adorable pup in the clip.

Some of you might find this conversation quite similar to conversations you have with your own pets. In a spray bottle container mix together 2 parts isopropyl alcohol with 1 part water and then add in 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap. Shake it up, spray it directly onto an icy windshield, and watch the ice literally melt away right before your very eyes!
This rubbing alcohol spray is the perfect thing to have on hand for freezing cold mornings and icy windshields. You can leave the bottle in your car and it won’t even freeze, unless it gets well under zero. That’s because the freezing point of isopropyl alcohol is -128.2 degrees Fahrenheit, so when you spray it on the ice, it doesn’t freeze up. Instead, it helps to melt the ice and keeps it from re-freezing. Since all you have to do is mist it on, it’s by far the quickest and easiest way to clear a windshield that’s coated with a thick layer of ice.

When it comes to cats and dogs, it seems like they either get along great or they can’t stand each other. You never know how they’re really going to act until you socialize and introduce them to other pets. When a cat and dog initially meet the general belief is that the earlier in life they do that, the better they will get along with one another. Sometimes the initial meeting between the pets goes smooth as silk while others…. well let’s just say don’t go just as exactly how you planned and pictured it working out..
Now before we jump right into today’s featured dog video let’s go over a short history of the relationship between humans and their canine counterparts:
Around 200,000 years ago humans began walking the earth. Since the inception of the human race, shelter, house, communities and eventually civilizations began cropping up all over planet earth. What’s more interesting is we didn’t build and evolve all on our own we had a few loyal friends who tagged along and helped us on our human journey through history.
Probably, the one species of animal the most intertwined with our own evolution is Canis Lupus Familiaris or what we call dogs! What makes this odd alliance even stranger is that modern day dogs evolved one of man’s initial biggest threats. This mammal species is known as Canis Lupus or what most of all call wolves.
Around 100,000 years ago our ancestors began populating the land mass of Eurasia. The wolf was one of the only creatures on the planet that could match us humans near the top of the food chain. How the two species interacted with their own kind was actually very similar..
The two species both hunted in groups or packs. The hunter and gatherers would work as one finely tuned machine, to seek, find and then catch their prey for survival. Wolves also hunted in hierarchal pack and would also work with coordinated strikes and precise accuracy as they sought out their prey.
Our ancestors and wolves were indeed very social creatures, and used these advanced social skills in order to take down animals much larger than themselves which in turn would leave them wasting less time hunting and more time consuming energy and nutrition.
Wolves thrived at the top of the food chains for thousands of years before modern day humans ever appeared however, now that these strange bipedal hominids were encroaching on their territory they had some very serious competition on their paws.
While the two species would clash head on for many years some wolves who were kicked out or ostracized from their pack noticed that if they weren’t aggressive towards a human community this could be a pretty easy way to get food and survive without having to face the world alone.
The strong and powerful wolves remained in their packs and refused to back down to the humans however, the weaker and more scavenger type of canines began to outlast and outlive their more dominant predecessors due to their new alliance with these strange 2 legged hominids.
As years passed, the traits of these less aggressive and scrap grabbing Canines we’re passed down through their DNA and they began living closer and closer to our ancestors. As we provided them leftover food they in turn would help us hunt and defend our lands and communities. It was a symbiotic relationship that was just the perfect match made in heaven.
Because both species preferred living in packs, it wasn’t too difficult for these docile wolves to integrate with the human population and eventually begin living in their homes. It is thought that these animals were the first domesticated animals ever.
These first wolf-dog hybrids showed up around 30,000 years ago. As time went on these wolf-dogs soon evolved into our modern day dogs. These evolutions and changes in look were drastic for some breeds and less so for others. Humans had successfully domesticated these canines for almost any purpose they needed them for..
Now that we have gone over the history of between humans and canines, let’s dive head first into today’s hilarious dog video of the day:
Other times, the first meeting can go horribly wrong and a close watch and lots of intervention is necessary before the two animals are comfortable enough to be together alone. Every animal is different and just like their human counterparts, some of them are more solitary and like being alone, while others prefer having company and are more social in nature.

The ugly spots and stains are caused by water that contains large amounts of minerals such as limestone, calcium, and magnesium.
These metals and minerals are naturally occurring, most often in areas with low water tables and mountainous regions, and water that contains them is perfectly safe to use and drink. The biggest downside to it is the crusty, whitish colored mineral deposits and stubborn stains it leaves behind. Over time these gradually build up on stuff, especially faucets and shower heads.
Many people struggle to remove these stains and often think that they need strong, harsh chemical cleaners to get rid of them effectively. However, there’s a better and more affordable way to go about cleaning a shower head with crusted on mineral build up. All you need is apple cider vinegar, a Ziploc bag, and a rubber band.
Simply pour some apple cider vinegar into the plastic bag and place it over and on the shower head. Use a rubber band to secure it in place and then leave it on overnight. Remove the baggy the following day, wipe the shower head clean, and it should be restored to its former glory!

In a spray bottle container mix together 2 parts isopropyl alcohol with 1 part water and then add in 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap. Shake it up, spray it directly onto an icy windshield, and watch the ice literally melt away right before your very eyes!
This rubbing alcohol spray is the perfect thing to have on hand for freezing cold mornings and icy windshields. You can leave the bottle in your car and it won’t even freeze, unless it gets well under zero. That’s because the freezing point of isopropyl alcohol is -128.2 degrees Fahrenheit, so when you spray it on the ice, it doesn’t freeze up. Instead, it helps to melt the ice and keeps it from re-freezing. Since all you have to do is mist it on, it’s by far the quickest and easiest way to clear a windshield that’s coated with a thick layer of ice.

3) DIY Boot Inserts- Maintain the shape of tall boots by cutting a foam pool noodle into thirds or fourths, then stick a piece in each boot and they’ll stay upright, making them easier to organize and wear later on.
4) Stop Wipers From Freezing to a Car Windshield- Take an old pair of long cotton socks and slide them over each wiper, puling it down as far as it can go or reaches. This will prevent wipers from freezing and/or sticking to the windshield, and makes life all the more easier.
5) Organize Winter Gear- Hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, hand warmers, neck warmers and all other winter accessories can be neatly stored in one accessible place with a shoe organizer. Hang it over a door and never search for lost gloves again.
6) Windshield Treatment- This one is the best! A combination of vinegar and water works wonders at preventing frost and ice from building up on car windshields and windows. Mix the two liquids up in a spray bottle, spritz it on car windows, then wipe off with a soft cloth.
7) Boot Tray- Keep floors safe, clean, and dry by making your own boot tray. This one is much more appealing than commercially available ones and works even better. Fill a large metal cookie sheet with a layer of decorative rocks and put it near the door so that when people enter they can immediately place wet boots on the rocks. The water will drip through the rocks to the bottom and soon evaporate.
