Anybody who has a child know they are like little parrots. Whatever they see mom or dad doing they attempt to mimic their behavior. There is nothing better than a little kid proving to themselves that they can do anything their parents can do. Not only do they shadow your every move, their little brains and eyes are locked on you at all times, soaking in every last drop of information their minds can handle.
Many daughters want to be just like their mommy! They will was watch their mama get ready, buy putting on beautiful dresses, doing their hair and finally doing their makeup. It is always fun to play dress up and become a little princess. Most of the time nothing goes wrong and everything is just fine..
However, there are exceptions to this which we will cover in the following article and video. Parent’s Kylie and Tony Cravens got their baby girl toy makeup to wear which was supposedly completely harmless. When they got home from the store, their daughter obviously wanted to immediately try her new toy makeup. Mama helped her apply it and all was well, everyone was smiling, laughing and having a good time.
Then out of no where the toddler began to feel ill and broke out in rashes all over her face. At first she just felt a little burning, then the pain became more and more excruciating. Blisters we’re beginning to form in all the areas they applied the make up to. At this point her parents rushed her to the hospital because they obviously could sense something was very wrong with their baby.
The doctor told them this was clearly some type of anaphylactic allergic reaction to the toy makeup she had applied. It got so bad that those blisters led to swelling of her whole head and she was in a lot of pain.
Mom wanted to spread the word about her daughters situation so she posted it on social media and it quickly went viral!

In January of 2016 Anja Ringgren Loven, a Danish aid worker, went to Nigeria as part of a rescue mission. It was there that she met a little boy, now named Hope, who was about 2 years old when he changed her life forever. The child was in dire condition and yet no one seemed to care. He had been accused of being a witch by his family and was cast out onto the streets, left to fend for himself for at least eight months. When he was found he was naked, homeless, skeletal, his body was riddled with worms, and he was starved to the point where he was nearly dead.
When the aid group that Anja was part of came across Hope he was standing on a dirt road holding a small piece of cracker in one hand. Anja had bent down to give him a sip of water from a plastic bottle and the moment was captured in a photo that went viral across the globe after she shared it online.
People were shocked and outraged at the treatment and condition of the poor small boy who had done nothing to deserve such a sad life. More importantly, they were moved to contribute to the charity that Anja set up, African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation (ACAEDF), which rescues abandoned children just like Hope who have been accused of being witches. They have their work cut out for them, in Nigeria alone there are an estimated 15,000 children who have been accused of witchcraft and the issue is growing. Oftentimes they live as social pariahs, many are beaten, tortured, or simply left to fend for themselves, sadly some end up murdered.
Thanks to the charity, many get a second chance at life. After Anja and her mission co-workers rescued Hope from the streets, he received treatment for malnutrition and a variety of medical conditions. Today he lives alongside 35 other children at an orphanage that Anja and her husband, David Emmanuel Umen, manage in Eket, Nigeria.
As you can see from the updated photo that she recreated with him, Hope looks nothing like his former self. Now he is healthy and smiling, dressed in new school clothes, his eyes shine bright, and he looks ready to take on life. Only a year had passed between the two pictures and the change is absolutely astounding. His recovery is a testament not only to the work that Anja and other charities like hers do, but also to what a difference the love, understanding, and hope they are given can make.

If you are anything like me, hearing your speaking voice on a recording, is usually cringe-worthy! Sometimes you may hear your recorded voice, and not even recognize it as your own. I’ve found it to be even weirder hearing my voice on a video…it almost seems disembodied.
I’ve always wondered about this strange phenomenon; it is true that your voice does sound different to yourself than you sound to others. The video you are about to watch explains that there is actually a scientific reason for this.
When we speak we are hearing our voice both externally and internally. Not only do you hear what is actually coming out of your mouth (external), but the “real” voice is combined with the sound of the internal bone vibration. This combination causes you to perceive your voice as softer and lower-pitched.
What happens when you hear a recording of your voice, is that the internal noises you usually hear when speaking, are eliminated. The sound vibration that comes out of a speaker reaches us through our ear drums, causing a sharper, stronger sound than the one we hear when we speak.

Pre-Teen Loses Her Cat and Goes Into Sewer To Find It. 45 Minutes Later Someone Hears Her Crying In Terror!

When Hannah Siler’s cat went missing, she didn’t waste a beat and immediately went out looking for it. The 12 year old girl from Pascagoula, Mississippi was desperate to find her kitty and if you’ve ever had the misfortune of having your cat going missing, then you know the pure heartbreak that goes right along with it. You will look anywhere and everywhere, after all cats are masters at hiding and can squeeze into the strangest, tightest of places.
As she searched around the neighborhood, something drew Hannah to a nearby storm drain. When she stooped down to look inside the dark hole, she saw two yellow glowing eyes staring right back at her. They were certainly not cat eyes, they belonged to a seven foot long alligator instead!
Alarmed at the strange sight, Hannah screamed aloud in surprise That drew her stepmother, Brooque Snow, who came running out to see what the matter was. When Brooque first peered down into the drain she couldn’t believe her eyes, the alligator looked huge, and she had to have a second look before she could believe what she was seeing.
Once the initial shock had worn off, Brooque snapped a quick picture of the strange sight and notified the authorities. Minutes later animal control officers showed up and they worked to quickly block off any exits so that the gator couldn’t escape. The men worked to wrangle the animal out of the drain and when they finally pulled the twisting, feisty gator out they realized it was too big for the two of them to take on alone.
They needed additional professional help, so they called in trappers from the Mississippi Department of Wildlife and Fisheries who managed to finally subdue and remove the alligator from the storm drain. When they pulled it out, they noticed it was covered in bloody patches from its time in the sewer. No one could be sure how long it had been stuck and if it hadn’t been spotted by Hannah, it surely would have died down there.
After holding the stressed alligator for observation, and giving it time to heal, it was released into a nearby river outside the city and away from people. It turned out to be the best outcome for everyone involved, gator included.

They Thought Their Infant Was Safe At Daycare Then They See A Disturbing Pic of Her Face Down In The Crib!

One of the hardest parts about being a parent to a young newborn child is having to leave them with a babysitter or at daycare. For most people who work, this eventual reality comes after their maternity leave is over and their baby is just weeks old. While many people have a family member or even a close trusted friend watch their child, not everyone has this option available.
Childcare is not cheap and people pay top dollar to ensure their kids are being kept safe and watched over by professionals. Parents go to great lengths to find the best day care centers in their area, often researching and visiting them well in advance so they feel comfortable leaving their kids when the time comes. However, even the most highly regarded places can turn out to be skipping corners and doing things wrong, which is never okay when infants and children are affected.
For Deirdre Engle and her husband Jonathan, every parent’s worst nightmare came true when they received a call from the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) back in 2018. The couple were told by DCF that their 6 month old daughter Elora had been put down to sleep in a sleep sack, face down, with the sack pulled very tight around her, and it was secured with an elastic hair band. There were photos of the poor child and wanting to see evidence, they headed straight to DCF to view them.
When Deirdre saw the picture of Elora her heart sank. Her daughter looked so small and was clearly not comfortable in the sleep sack and position she had been put in. After confirming the baby in the photo was Elora her mind immediately started racing and all of the horrible possibilities flashed through her head. She had been leaving her daughter at the day care since she was just 5 weeks old and had grown to trust the caretakers, but now all that went out the window.
According to local new reports, Deirdre was not the only parent who received a call from DCF about the daycare center putting infants in sleep sacks face down, several others were notified as well. She immediately pulled her baby out of the day care and raised the alarm when she spoke to the local news about the incident.
While sleep sacks are considered safer than blankets, this is only when they are used correctly. What the day care provider did, using a hair tie to secure it in the back and laying the infant face down on their belly, was just plain wrong. Furthermore, swaddling is not allowed at day care centers. Only parents can swaddle their child at home because babies risk rolling over on their tummies and they should always be placed on their back when wrapped up like that. She Goes To Her Doc With Pain and Swelling On Her Forehead. He Looks At It and Is Stunned By What He Finds!

This is the story of a very rare ordeal that a 55 year old woman from York, UK went through after returning from a trip she’d taken to Uganda, Africa. Shortly after getting back she noticed red swelling on her hairline. She ignored it at first but when it steadily got worse, she went to the hospital to have it checked out. The doctors who examined her thought it was just an infected insect bite, so they sent her home with antibiotics. Three days later the woman returned to the hospital, this time complaining of shooting pains around her face. In addition, the swelling had spread from her forehead to her eyes which was troubling.
The doctors ordered tests and soon found out that maggots had somehow dug their way into her forehead! As disgusting as the diagnosis was, it was thankfully caught early on and the maggots were easily removed. According to a British Medical Journal case report, the first maggot came out when petroleum jelly was applied to her forehead. However, an ultrasound revealed that a second one was still inside, so doctors cut open her skin, removed it, and cleaned out the area. After spending four days in the hospital the woman fully recovered and was free to go home.
The maggots were sent off to the London School of Tropical Medicine where they were identified as lungs fly offspring, a rare species found only in African rainforests. This made sense because while visiting Uganda the woman had gone on a tour through a rainforest in Kibale National Park. Upon investigating her story further, doctors concluded that she must have wrapped a towel around her head which contained fly eggs. The eggs made their way inside her forehead via a small wound and developed into maggots, at which point they caused her pain and discomfort and were found.
The medical term for this strange phenomenon is called myiasis, which is an infection of fly larvae whereby the eggs get under a person’s skin via a surface wound. The eggs then develop into maggots before eventually dropping off on their own. Myiasis most often occurs in tropical and subtropical areas, like the rainforest the woman had trekked through on her trip.
As if the story wasn’t horrible enough, according to the woman, her son’s friend who had accompanied them was also infected on the trip. He had a large lump on his back which he sought treatment for, but different doctors in London had dismissed it as an infected insect bite as well and bandaged him up. When he took the bandage off his skin the maggot ended up coming out on its own. In the end both patients fully recovered and now, at the very least, more awareness of the possible issue has been raised.
