She Went To The Salon To Get Her Hair Done. Minutes Later She Would Be Fighting For Her Life!

A trip to the hair salon is associated with pampering and an attractive outcome, whether it be a change orrefreshing of hair color or a cut that will give you the “oomph” that you need. The worst thing that you would have to worry about is being unsatisfied with the results…certainly nothing earth shaking in the scheme of things.
Worrying about whether you would make it out of the salon alive would certainly not be on your list of concerns. However, in certain salons, there does lie a relatively unknown risk to your health and potentially even your life! This danger was brought to light by one young woman, Elizabeth Smith, whose trip to the Blowbunny Salon in San Francisco, ended with her being rushed to the emergency room.
Upon arrival she was evaluated with a CT scan which showed that an artery in her neck had been damaged. The doctors explained to her that this had caused her to have a stroke! How in the world could this have happened from simply getting her hair washed at the salon sink?!
Apparently, this phenomenon is well-known to doctors and hair salon owners as well; it actually has been dubbed: “Beauty Parlor Stroke”. It is critical that salons have chairs that recline into a position that allows your neck to rest comfortably in an appropriate lip on the sink. Without ample support that leaves your neck at a healthy angle, anyone can be at risk for what happened to Elizabeth.

It should also be noted that adjustments should always be made for differences in height, that could also impact the angle of the neck.

Nobody Believed Her When She Described Her Creatures Strange Sound. So She Revealed THIS

Arctic foxes are beautiful animals with white fur coats and soft bushy tails. A lesser known fact is that they also seem to have a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh that’s hard to not smile at when you hear it. The cute little guy in this video named Archer is proof of that. Video of him laughing has gone viral ever since his owner, 25 year old Krista Shafer of Battle Creek, Michigan, uploaded it to Vine.
In the clip Archer can be seen sitting on the floor among a pile of clothing. When Ms. Shafer’s boyfriend lets out a little chuckle in the background, the fox immediately joins in the laughter. Archer closes his eyes, tosses his head back, and giggles in delight as he rolls around on the floor!
The high pitched sounds he emits sound exactly like a person laughing and the sight of him is simply adorable. He looks like he just heard a funny story or the punchline to a good joke, you have to see and hear him to understand how truly human-like he sounds!
This isn’t a one-time thing for Archer, he laughs all the time, especially towards the end of the day when he’s tired and sleepy. According to Ms. Shafer he “usually starts giggling whenever my boyfriend laughs… he’s a very vocal, very loving, very happy fox.”
Judging by the clip of him cackling in delight, that looks to be the case. The video has also managed to make a lot of people happy and laugh along with it. In just 3 days after it was originally posted it has been viewed an astounding 29 million times and counting!
Ms. Shafer got Archer when he was just a kit, having bought him from a breeder in Indiana. While wild animals should remain in the wild where they belong, many foxes have been successfully domesticated. That’s because long ago they were kept for their fur before a switch led to them being raised instead as companion animals.
As such, Archer was never truly wild since his natural instincts have essentially been bred out of him and he wouldn’t be able to survive in the wild. Now he lives with his adoring caretaker and spends his days happily playing and laughing up a storm. Check out the adorable fox and see how funny his laugh is!

You are about to watch one individual, Johnny Georges, a farmer turned entrepreneur, pitching his invention to the “Shark Tank” panel.
Like other aspiring entrepreneurs he is trying to inspire one of the Sharks to partner with him in his “Tree T-Pee” company; his simple product not only helps farmers conserve water and electricity, but also has the potential to make a much larger ecological impact.
As he is asked the usual questions about cost of production, retail pricing etc., it becomes clear to most of the Sharks, that he is grossly underselling his product. What you will see in Johnny’s eyes, and what he says about fairness and goodwill to farmers, is both inspirational and unfortunately, unusual in our times.
His questionable business practices, in terms of the potential for “making a killing”, doesn’t resonate economically with most of the Sharks. However, the guest panelist John Paul DeJoria of Paul Mitchell fame, sees it differently.

THIS Pup Got On a Hammock In The Rain For The First Time. He Looks Up But Never Expected THIS!

When it rains, it’s time for this Bulldog to play! The extremely excited tan and white ball of joy looks like he’s having the time of his life while trying out a backyard hammock in the pouring rain. He slips and slides down the fabric like it’s a seesaw and manages, for the most part, to keep up with it without tipping or flying off.
The sight of him jumping around on his unique new play toy is just too cute for words, check it out and see for yourself what an awesome time he’s having! The hilarious Bulldog’s name is Columbus and he lives with his human companions over in Hungary.
Even though most people and other animals try to not get wet and actively avoid the rain, Columbus sees the inclement weather as an opportunity to create his very own slip n’ slide. While his owner looks on and films from the dry safety of his house, the big puppy excitedly romps around on the hammock like it’s the greatest thing in the whole entire world.
He barks, chomps at the rain drops, and throws his weight around before finally biting the side of the hammock and collapsing in a wet, furry ball of exhaustion. Columbus has definitely found a way to make being out in the rain look like a whole lot of fun and if he keeps at it he’ll be in great shape and stay healthy for years to come.
He really puts to rest the common assumption that many people have, which is that Bulldogs are lazy because of their short, stout build and wrinkly folded skin. That’s often not the case, many of them absolutely love being active and jump at every chance they get to play around.

THIS Mother’s Son Died 1 Hour After He Swam In The Pool. THIS Reason Is Terrifying!

Johnny Jackson, a 10-year-old boy from South Carolina, was enjoying a hot summer day at the neighborhood pool. His mom Cassandra walked home with him, having no idea that tragedy was about to strike.
He had been playing all afternoon and told his mom he felt really sleepy. He went to take a nap, which certainly didn’t seem unusual after a hot day at the pool; Cassandra had no way of knowing that her little boy was slowly DROWNING!
When she checked on him one hour later, Cassandra found a foam-like substance covering his face. She immediately realized he wasn’t breathing and rushed him to the emergency room, but it was too late. Johnny was declared dead due to “Asphyxiation by Drowning.”
In the interview you are about to watch in the video below, you will hear Cassandra’s heartbreaking description of what happened to her son. She was explained that Johnny had “dry-drowned” because he had swallowed too much water while swimming.
This phenomenon of a slow death due to impaired lung function, happens when water prevents enough oxygen from reaching the blood, which in turn prevents carbon dioxide from being released.
You will hear a pediatrician, Dr. Daniel Rauch, interviewed about “dry-drowning” on the Today show following this tragic incident. He explains what to look for physically as well as in a child’s behavior, that might indicate something abnormal is going on.
A death by “dry-drowning” can even occur if too much water is swallowed in a bathtub.

THIS Couple Went For A Morning Walk They Had No Idea THIS One Text Would Change Everything!

On a beautiful sunny morning in March, Leslee and David Henson of St. George, Utah, decided to take a walk together. Parents of three children and twelve grandchildren, they had moved to this lovely neighborhood to enjoy as much time with their expanding family as they could.
They had no way of knowing that their walk would change their lives forever, as a driver’s distraction would result in tragedy. In the video below you will hear Leslee share what happened, in the hopes that her story will finally be the wake-up call about the destruction caused by texting while driving.
Carla Brennan, 52, was late for work that morning. She didn’t wake up with the intention of hurting someone…just in a rush, she was speeding and texting. She rear-ended another vehicle which hit the Hensons; David, 57, died on the way to the hospital, and Leslee suffered multiple fractures to her neck and lower back, as well as other injuries requiring 5,000 stitches.
Shockingly, Brennan only received a 240 day jail sentence with a plea deal. Her car was unregistered and uninsured, and she was driving 20 miles over the speed limit when she crashed. ABC 4 UTAH reported the Henson’s daughter, Haley’s, anguished recall; because a woman had to text that she was late to work, she lost her father and her children their grandpa.
In order to raise awareness, and to help ease the overwhelming pain over the tragedy that befell her family, Haley founded “Stop the Texts, Stop the Wrecks.” Thanks to the unrelenting efforts of the Henson family, the state laws of Utah were changed in 2014, strictly prohibiting texting while driving.
Despite the fact that so many states have these strict laws, texting while driving still persists. Watching Leslee’s story in the footage below, provides more information that brings home the consequences of distracted driving.
The Henson’s are one out of thousands and thousands of families whose lives are ruined, because people still believe nothing will happen if they look away from the road for a moment.
