Lady Brings Dog Covered In Strange Spots To The Vet. What They Reveal Underneath His Skin Is Horrifying!

Humans and dogs have relied upon each other for thousands of years. They used to help us hunt and protect us, but these days dogs are more of a companion animal. While dogs are many people’s best friends, others are their worst enemies. Some people are just plain cruel and animal abusers rank among the most sadistic.
The story of Jackson, a one year old English Mastiff puppy, is a sad case of how low people can stoop. His owner Hayden Howard of Seymour, Indiana said that one Saturday afternoon he was playing in the fenced in backyard.
He looked ok and was acting normal but when she called him inside later in the day he appeared to be covered in bug bites. Since he seemed fine Hayden didn’t bother looking closer until later that night and what she found was the worst thing any animal lover could ever imagine. Jackson wasn’t covered in bug bites; he was riddled with bullet holes.
Completely shocked, Hayden rushed her poor dog to the vet who immediately found several small pellets, the type which matched those likely fired from a BB gun. There were so many bullet holes that the vet had to shave off almost all of Jackson’s fur and by the time he was done a total of 30 BBs and 7 plastic pellets were recovered from the dog’s body. A further 20 holes riddled his body, but those shots could not be recovered without further invasive surgery.
The police were called in and they went to Hayden’s house to investigate the terrible crime. Upon looking at the backyard where the dog had been attacked, they estimated he must have been shot more than 70 times. Craig Hayes, the Assistant Chief of the Seymour police department, said he had never seen such a small animal shot so many times survive.
Wanting answers and justice for Jackson the police were determined to solve the case. They found evidence of BBs lodged in trees on Hayden’s property that showed which direction the shots were fired from and traced them back to a nearby property.
Soon after that they obtained a search warrant for the house next door and found hidden bullets and a gun along with the BB gun and pellets used to shoot Jackson. The police also found evidence of drug-use at the house and arrested a man on drug possession charges. When they asked him who had shot the dog he refused to answer without an attorney present.
While no animal cruelty charges have yet been filed, the cops are hopeful for an arrest in the case and plan to further test some of the evidence they gathered. In addition, the Howard family has set up a $500 reward for more information leading to charges in the case.
Most important of all is that Jackson is alive and well on his was to living a normal dog’s life. He was given medication and antibiotics to help him heal and is at home recovering with his family. Hayden reports that he is fine and well on his way to better health. Hopefully the person who did this to him will be caught and punished severely for their inhumane cruelty.

Dog Snatches This Little Girl And Throws Her To The Other Side Of The Room. The Reason Is Scary!

Animals are incredibly in-tune with nature and are often aware of everything around them. When something seems off or strange they usually notice and pick up on it right away. That’s why many domestic pets, and dogs in particular, often alert us to hidden dangers long before we would’ve perceived them.
Just their reaction to a threat is enough to make most people pay attention because when dogs sense danger they bark, growl, become defensive, and act way differently than their usual self. More often than not, when a dog see’s that their human companion is in trouble they don’t hesitate to step in and help out in whatever way they possibly can.
For one Doberman Pinscher, that meant grabbing his new families 17-month old child by the diaper and tossing her several feet through the air. It sounds alarming, and the girl’s mother who was looking on was shocked when she saw that exact scene play out, but once you know why it makes perfect sense.
The incredible series of events all took place in Australia where a little girl named Charlotte Svilicic was outside playing in the yard with the family dog, a beautiful black and brown Doberman named Khan.
Catherine Svilicic, the girl’s mother, was watching the two through a window when she noticed the dog was being rather aggressive and acting uncharacteristically rough. Khan began to nudge Charlotte around, gently at first, but then he started to growl and snarl seemingly out of nowhere.
Suddenly, he sunk his teeth firmly into the toddler’s diaper and threw her behind him. She went sailing through the air and landed several feet away. Catherine was understandably angry and shocked by what she’d just seen, but when she went outside to check on her baby and investigate, her shock turned to relief and gratitude.
It turned out that Khan had been protecting Charlotte from a king brown snake that was slithering around nearby under the house. Considered one of the world’s most venomous, the deadly snake was too close for comfort.
Khan recognized the threat and acted quickly to move the little girl out of harms way. Catherine recalled, “I realized quickly it was a snake and Khan had been trying to get in between her and the snake before he threw her.” However, with all the commotion going on the snake became startled and bit the dog on his paw.
The snake venom quickly took its toxic effect and Khan became very sick. He made it inside the house before collapsing and Catherine wasted no time rushing him to the emergency vet. After receiving a shot of anti-venom and staying the night in the hospital, Khan made a full recovery and was soon back with his new family.
What makes this story all the more awesome and unexpected is the fact that Khan had been adopted by the Svilicic’s only four days prior to the incident. His previous owner had starved and beaten him to the point where he was suffering from multiple broken ribs when he was found.
His rescuers even thought about putting him down because he’d been abused and neglected so badly that they were unsure about whether or not he would ever recover or be re-homed. Thankfully they didn’t and now he has a family that loves him and will treat him right.
Khan’s story just goes to show how selfless and heroic animals can be. Even after experiencing a lifetime of abuse and neglect, he found love and kindness with his new family and was willing to die in order to protect them after just four days.

The pair chat for a little and when his owner asks for a kiss he obliges and says “Thank you.” This may be the cutest conversation you’ll ever see as they go on to shower each other with tender words and a few more kisses! It’s clear that Marnie is loving the attention being paid to him and it’s always wonderful to see the mutual love and affection being shared between owners and their pets. According to his mom, there are a few other phrases Marnie knows in addition to “you’re so cute,” “what are you doing,” and “thank you.” He also says “peek-a-boo,” “whee!,” “bye-bye,” “that good?,” “quack quack,” and “yuck, yuck, yuck.” She says that he’s always been a lover from day one, and always asks for kisses, which is why she describes him as a “polite Casanova.”

This Dog Died An Hour After Eating This Common Yet Very Deadly Plant. Everyone Should See THIS
There is a renewed sense of urgency in spreading the word about a very common, dangerous and deadly plant that can kill a dog within an hour if any part of it is consumed. Water hemlock is the plant that is responsible for the recent death of a 3 year old Border Collie in Colorado, and it poses a risk to all animals as well as humans. The dog was out playing at Horsetooth Reservoir when she ate the plant, which is known as one of the most toxic plants in all of America. Soon after ingesting it she started panting and her tongue was hanging out, then she lost her motor functions and couldn’t stand up, within 60 minutes she had passed away. The shocking death has many pet owners and lovers on edge, since the water hemlock plant is so widespread and common in North America, yet not many people know about its extreme deadliness.
The plant is most often found around moist, wet areas such as lakes, marshes, rivers, ditches, and streams. It sports serrated green leaves with sharply toothed edges and in the springtime it flowers with green or white petal blossoms that appear shaped as an umbrella.
While dogs are not drawn to the plant they could chew on it, plus owners and the public in general should be aware of the danger it poses. Even a large dog who eats just a few leaves can die within two hours, and smaller ones often succumb to it’s toxic effects much quicker. In some instances dogs have been poisoned by hemlock roots that were soaking in water and thus had contaminated it. Symptoms from water hemlock poisoning in dogs show up within minutes after they ingest it and include dilated pupils, seizures, twitching, and drooling. Eventually the dog becomes paralyzed and soon after death sets in, so it’s vitally important to get the dog to a veterinarian quickly. They need to induce vomiting as soon as possible and get the toxic poison out of the dog’s system.
