These Wild Elephants Take This Walk Once A Year. But Watch What They Caught On Video!
The visit that is captured in this beautiful video was a transporting experience. What you are about to view is the yearly pilgrimage that takes place by a family of wild elephants. They visit a lovely hotel in Zambia called the Mfuwe Lodge, when the mangos are ripe. Wonky Tusk, their matriarch, leads them through the reception area of the Lodge, so that they can reach the mango tree on the grounds of the hotel.
She intuitively knows when the mangos are ripe, and brings her family to enjoy their delicious snack. Wonky and her family, which includes an adorable baby elephant, seem to know that it is safe for them to partake of these treats. Equally amazing is that their human friends leave them be in this incredibly peaceful scene. A mutual trust is evident as they enter the lodge.
After they are satiated from the mangos, they peacefully lay down to take a nap. After resting they gently rumble back through the lodge for their leave-taking. One can only imagine what an unforgettable experience this is for the visitors. I now have something new for my bucket list. I would love to watch this in person!

What started as an interesting experiment turned out to be an incredibly moving and emotional experience for this young couple, engaged to be married in a month. Through the magic of professional make up artists, this couple received a rare opportunity to glimpse into the future. At less than thirty years of age, each of these two were able to see what the other might look like in their fifties, seventies and nineties.
I wonder if these two were nervous before they embarked on this journey? I know I was when I first started watching. What if they didn’t like what the other might one day look like? What if they hadn’t thought it all the way through, or when they had thought about it, they underestimated the changes that would take place?
Far from increasing my trepidation, the results made me more confident in my own relationship and ability to see the beauty in my loved ones even as time changes things in ways we cannot control. Their touching words in response to each other’s changing appearance left everyone watching with wet cheeks.
Instead of being appalled by the physical side effects of the aging process, the experience brought them even closer. Each gray hair, every spot and wrinkle told a story. What deep experiences are written into the superficial changes that form each face?
What memories have been created, what joys and sorrows have brought them closer together and strengthened their bond of love beyond what any superficial change could possibly restrain? By the end of the experiment, they were more in love than ever, and even more ready to get married and start creating the memories that would form their shared life.

This Pup Is Scared Of The Carpet. How He Overcomes His Fear Is An Unexpected Surprise!
People and animals face their fears in all sorts of different ways. The most common advice that you often hear given involves going head first and staring whatever it is that you’re afraid of in the face. If you have a fear of heights, go to somewhere high enough to make you uncomfortable and look down.
If you are afraid of swimming in the ocean, go to the beach and jump in the water. While this is sage advice, it doesn’t work for everyone. Instead, people turn to alternative ways in which they can try to stand up to their fears. Whether it’s through meditation, hypnosis, therapy, or something else, if you can find a way to get past personal fears it should be considered a huge success.

The adorable Golden Retriever has a very unique way of facing his fear of carpet. While he doesn’t mind walking on hardwood floors, the sight and feel of carpet beneath his paws makes him very nervous. As you can see, he whines and glances at the carpet before him with fear in his eyes as he hesitates to step on it.
Finally, he gathers the courage and strength from deep within himself, turns his body around a full 180 degrees, and backs up rear-end first onto the carpet. He successfully faced his fears in the cutest, most comical way possible. What an awesomely clever dog and more power to him!

I Thought It Was A Terrible Idea When He Set A Wine Cork On Fire But This Unexpected Trick Is Brilliant!
One of life’s little joys can be found in a nice relaxing glass of wine. There is just something inherently comforting and enjoyable when you sit back and sip on it after a long stressful day. It seems like there is a wine out there for everyone with so many types and varieties readily available.
Once the bottle is empty it usually doesn’t take long before another one is uncorked and wine aficionados often end up with a bunch of corks laying around. Instead of treating them as waste and throwing them out put them to good use and get the most out of your wine habit!
Wine lovers everywhere can appreciate this video that covers 8 different ways to reuse leftover corks. The first project is for wine cork magnets. Cut a cork into 1/8th inch pieces and glue small magnets on one side, then decorate the other side however you wish. Similarly, you can hollow out one end of a cork, place an air plant in it, glue on some magnets, and stick it on any metal surface.
Air plants don’t require any watering because they get all their required nutrients from the air, so they make perfect low maintenance plants for this project. Next up is floating cork key-chains that will ensure your keys never sink when they end up in water. Take a cork and insert a screw eye in the middle of one end, tighten until snug, then attach a key ring and key to it.
Need a bag clip? Make a few wine cork chip clips to help keep bagged food fresh and crisp. Stand a cork up and cut down about an inch into it, move over about a ¼ of an inch and make a 2nd downwards on a 30 degree angle so you end up with a wedge. Another handy use is to make them into plant markers. Take a wooden skewer and stab the sharp end into the cork, label appropriately and stick it in the ground near the plant.
For a more decorative approach try making a candle cork vase. Take a large vase and a smaller glass of equal height that can fit inside of it. Put a candle inside the small glass, place that into the vase, and fill in the surrounding gap with an assortment of corks.
Another useful thing you can make is a cork mirror that doubles as a hot plate to protect counter tops and surfaces from hot pots and pans. Cut a bunch of corks in half lengthwise and lay them out on the mirror you wish to decorate. Glue them on 2 at a time so they frame the mirror and trim any to make it fit nicely.
Finally, we saved the best for last, cork candles. Take a small mason jar and fill it with 70% rubbing alcohol, place a few corks inside, cover it tightly, shake it up, and let it sit for at least 24-48 hours (the longer the better). When you go to burn it simply take a cork out and place it in a candle holder that fits it snugly ad then light the top.
It doesn’t last as long as a normal candle but it’s a good alternative and great to have around in case of an emergency. That’s it! All of these DIY projects are simple, cheap, and easy to do. The next time you drink a bottle of vino, save the cork and reuse it!
