This video footage, never seen before, from the Puerto Rico Trench is an example of such astounding actions within Mother Nature, that we would think we were watching science fiction.

The main biological purpose of all living things is to reproduce. Nature makes that happen by the distribution and replication of seeds so that living things have the chance of having a legacy from generation to generation.
In the plant world the spreading of seeds occurs in many different and creative ways, fruits rely on animals and humans to be enticed by their sweetness, plucking them and then transporting them to another place to be replicated. Some plants rely on bees or wind to spread their seed.
The unique plants you are about to witness are not reliant on something else. Instead they are self-reliant; pressure within their own leaves allows them to be autonomous, by exploding their seeds out into the world.

NFL Star Locks Himself In A Hot Car To Reveal What It’s Like For Dogs. The Result Is Terrifying!

Here we are at last, in the heat of summer. Many of us wait all year, weathering the cold temperatures when we would prefer to be someplace warm, memories of the warm summer sun and long days getting us through the dark winter months.
But the heat also carries a certain danger, especially when it comes to the very common problem of leaving pets in hot cars. It might seem like our loved pet might be fine, just for a couple minutes, but as you will see demonstrated in this video, the temperature escalates very quickly.
In mere minutes, the temperature skyrockets, making it difficult for the animal to breathe. As difficult as this is for a human, like we see in this video, it is even harder for pets for multiple reasons. First, they have fur. This obviously holds heat in and therefore makes it much more difficult for them to cool down. We can sweat when we are too hot, because our lack of fur makes the evaporation that cools us happen much more quickly.
According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, if it is 80 degrees outside, within 30 minutes the inside of the car will be up to 114 degrees. In as little as 10 minutes, the car will be over 100 degrees.
Leaving the car in the shade is not enough either, because the shade moves with the sun and provides inadequate protection.

This Girl Was Given Two Different Dolls. Her Reaction To Them Totally Surprised Me!

Well, it’s about time, isn’t it!? We’ve all known for a long time that Barbie and Ken dolls are an unrealistic representation of woman and man, yet they have continued to be produced and distributed to children world wide.
It can not be denied that the plastic people have contributed to the skewed understanding of beauty that plagues the generations from a very young age. So, finally we meet Lammily. While the doll is still far from realistic, it is a grand improvement when compared to its counterpart.
Second graders in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania were introduced to Lammily to see what they thought. Their reactions were consistent in welcoming the new doll with open arms and observing the differences between her and the doll they were used to seeing.
It was very evident to the children that Lammily was not only more lifelike, but that because of her features she would be more capable of playing when Barbie would have been inhibited. For example, Lammily has wider hips so is more suited for riding a horse than Barbie. Also, Lammily has normal feet and toes, where Barbie looks like she had her feet bound in four inch heels.
The students in this video responded very positively to the more authentic figurine. They commented that she reminded them of someone they know, and that they liked her soft hair, and natural features. When asked what the two model women would do for work in the real world the children’s answers were candid.
Barbie was seen to be a supermodel, fashion star, make up artist, or a surfer whereas Lammily was viewed to be a teacher, pilot, swimmer, work with a computer or have really any job. The children unanimously stated that between the two dolls they identified more with Lammily and adored her.

This Grandma Starts Running In The Rain. When I Found Out The Reason I Broke Down

When you’re young and innocent playing in the rain is a fun and enjoyable experience. When you grow older, getting caught in the rain is oftentimes an annoying inconvenience. The once spontaneous and refreshing feeling of being outside under falling skies fades for most people, as they age and take on more and more responsibilities.
We often forget the fact that getting a little wet really isn’t all that bad and before you know it you end up drying off. This incredible short film, “Light Rain,” is based on a true story written by Bob Perks. It serves as a simple and symbolic reminder for people to put things into perspective and to not be so scared of life.
The film, uploaded to YouTube channel imageynation, was directed by Neil Horner and produced by Stephanie Wrate. In the creator’s own words, they sought to remind us “of the need to avoid becoming weighed down by the trivial hindrances that soak our paths on a daily basis.”
In the video all the people are huddled together out of the rain, waiting for it to end so they can resume their days. A mother and her child are among the group and the little girl wants to run in the rain, but her mom is against the idea.
Then the girl says something that makes everyone stop and listen, it gets them thinking and puts whatever thoughts that may have had running through their minds into a new perspective. Moments later the somber scene suddenly changes and everyone breaks free.

He Places A Weird Device Onto His Guitar. The Sound It Makes Boggles My Mind!

When Berlin based musician Robin Sukroso wanted to be able to play his two favorite types of music together simultaneously he had to get creative. Nothing on the market was available at the time that would allow him to blend and play both electronic and acoustic music together at once. Which is why he set out to design a piece of equipment that delivered both types of sound and could be easily attached to a guitar.
What you see and hear in this video, uploaded to his YouTube channel RobinSukroso, is the end result of three years of research, development, and trial testing. It’s called the ACPAD and it gives guitar players the ability to blend acoustic and electronic music sounds with the touch of a finger. One only needs to slap the ACPAD onto a guitar, via its self-stick-on feature, and they are ready to go.
There are no wires to mess with since it’s powered by a rechargeable battery or invasive screws that could damage a guitar and the alter the sounds it produces. Watch closely in the initial few seconds of the video and you can see how quick and seamlessly it sticks right onto the guitar. Once it’s attached you can play right away and create custom music by simply touching the tap pads, which can be assigned different sounds.
The quality of the device is clear as soon as you see and hear it in action. The song played in the video is unbelievable. The ACPAD creates a number of completely new auditory sensations that I personally have never heard before. The way he is able to blend and mix acoustic and electronic sounds is magic to my ears and the effect is mesmerizing. He basically is turned into a one man electronic orchestra with the ACPAD attachment. If you heard this at a show you would think how on Earth is he doing that?
Sukroso is definitely a talented and innovative musician. His design sounds good, easily incorporates onto a guitar without damaging it, is slim and portable, and looks cool as well. To get it on the market he has launched a Kickstarter campaign, so be sure to check it out if you are interested. If this one incredible sounding demo is illustrative of what it can do, then I can’t wait to hear the new music people come up with the help of this new technology!

Watch Video of Strange and Unique Crown Flashing Light Beam Behind These Clouds

This is one of the most incredible videos I have ever seen! I felt as if the man behind the camera was speaking for me, repeatedly pointing out how shocked he was by what he was witnessing. What in the world is it? It looks like a creature made of light hopping around in the clouds! My first reaction was disbelief.
I thought there must be some kind of trick, but the consistency of the light and its constantly changing movements convinced me of its authenticity. My second thought was, “I hope it’s a UFO!” There is some speculation that what we are witnessing is a rare phenomenon called “crown flashing.”
It happens when the ice crystals in the clouds align with the constantly shifting magnetic fields, caused by the electrical activity of a storm. The shifting crystals cause the light to refract and move. Nature is so mysterious and amazing.. No matter how much we learn, she always has another secret. What do you think this is? Let us know!

85 Year Old ‘Flower Grandpa’ Asked To Walk The Aisle, But He Goes Off Script and Everyone Loses It

Weddings are steeped in many different types of traditions. Everything from the music played to the order and procession of events is generally pretty much the same across the board. In recent years couples have been throwing in more little surprises here and there, like all of those special dances you see online that they planned and practiced before the big day. However, even those trends eventually catch on and become a tad bit stale.
Then of course, there will always be those couples who switch things up completely and do them their own way. Jennifer Briskin is one of those people and she was set to tie the knot with her soon to be husband Austin Tansantisuk on October 1st 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia. The pair had everything picked out and planned to their tastes, save for one last final thing, the flower girl.
Jennifer had reserved that role for one of the most special people in her life who she was the closest with, her 85 year old grandfather named Stanley. That’s right, instead of giving the traditional role of flower girl to a younger family member or friend’s child, she did the complete opposite! She wanted to include her grandpa in the wedding party and make him a part of her big day, so she spent out a special invitation asking him to fulfill the honors. The bespoke invitation read “Papa, Will you be my Flower Grandpa?”
She recalled that “In thinking about the typical roles of a wedding, I couldn’t shake the idea of him walking down the aisle throwing flowers like a flower girl. I joked with him that I wanted him to be my ‘Flower Grandpa,’ and the idea stuck!”
Her grandfather graciously accepted the invitation and was even a little bit nervous about the whole thing! He was a little rusty on what was expected of him and so Jennifer and her sister Allison, who was also her maid of honor, set up a rehearsal and ran through it with him.
It’s been said that ‘practice makes perfect,’ which may work in theory, but as you can see in the video, practice did not help Stanley all that much. Grandpa took a different route down the aisle and rather than scatter the flowers evenly down the center, he decided to throw the petals all over the guests and they loved it!
The attendees were laughing and absolutely delighted at being showered in flowers. It all made the day that much more special and Stanley was the unexpected star of the show. Check out his awesome ‘Flower Grandpa’ skills, it’ll be sure to put a smile on everyone’s face!

Apparently You Shouldn’t Ever Kill a Centipede Inside Your Home. This Is Good To Know.

Your home is supposed to be your sanctuary, a place where you can relax, unwind, and kick off your shoes. However, any sense of tranquility is easily shattered if you’ve ever spotted a house centipede crawling around your personal space. If you’re blissfully unaware of what a house centipede looks like, prepare to be enlightened.
The hideous looking creatures have what appear to be like a hundred legs, but according to Wikipedia there are actually only 15 pairs of legs, the key word being pairs! All of these long sets of legs stick out from their inch or longer bodies and to top it all off they have an extra long pair of antennae that makes them look way bigger than they actually are. They are downright ugly and unless you’re a fan of creepy crawlies, then you likely won’t enjoy these things running around your house.
Speaking of running, they are super fast so all of those spindly legs aren’t for nothing! Oftentimes people spot them because they suddenly dart out from whatever dark corner or crack they were hiding in. The sight is jarring and naturally your first instinct is to squash the sucker dead, but killing the bugs is precisely what you should NOT do! As odd as it sounds, once you know the reasons why they should be left alone, you’ll understand that it’s ultimately for the greater good.
First off, house centipedes are like tiny little pest controllers. They hunt out and kill other bugs that are invading your house and their appetites know no boundaries. They will eat spiders, moths, roaches, flies, silverfish, and even termites which can be a very damaging and expensive pest to have around your home. They themselves do not cause any structural damage, if anything the sight of them may take an emotional toll on you, but that’s it. Best of all, they’re a natural alternative to harsh chemical bug deterrents and they cost absolutely nothing.
Next, they are considered harmless to humans. They are more likely to run away from you rather than towards you, plus they’re mainly active at night time so you probably won’t ever even see them. While they do have poisonous venom, which they use to kill all those other bugs, their mouths and jaws are usually not big or strong enough to penetrate our skin.
However, on extremely rare occasions they have succeeded in biting a person and the effect is comparable to that of a bee sting. Minor redness, pain, and swelling may accompany it, but the chances of you getting munched on by one would be like winning the lottery or being killed by a shark; it’s just not going to happen.
Finally, if the thought of centipedes crawling through your home is too much for you to bear, simply take preventative measures to keep them out. Seal any cracks or places where they could possibly get in and keep all areas, especially basements and garages, damp-free and as dry as possible. You can leave sticky tape traps to catch them or call a professional pest controller in, but they really shouldn’t be a major issue unless you have an infestation or a severe phobia of bugs with a million legs!
The next time you spot one of the ugly insects crawling around, let it go because it’s likely killing all of the many other pests that are hiding in your home. In the end, if they aren’t bothering you, why bother them?
