Dogs love going outside to get some fresh air and exercise and for responsible owners that means they have to either put them on a leash and take them for a walk or go to the dog park. Unless, of course, they have a sturdy fence installed that allows the dog to roam free and explore the yard safe and securely. The convenience of having a fenced-in area for your pets at home simply make people’s lives easier and they also make life easier and happier for the pup, and a lot more fulfilling!
One guy, YouTube user rgraves62002 decided that his best friend in the world, an adorable dog named Stella, could benefit from a nice penned in area. He rescued Stella after finding her in a dumpster and saw how much she loved to run and jump around, so she needed a place to play in and keep her from wandering off…
Knowing how much of a jumper the pup Stella was he tried to figure out how high she could leap before he went out and bought a fence. He set up a test and explained in the comments that he “had Stella jump a baby gate inside and when she stopped jumping it I added 6 inches.”
After putting up the new fence he couldn’t help but admire it and the clip he posted shows the end result of all his hard work and effort. He can be heard in the background saying “Yep, just completed fixing this fence. Pretty proud of it I’d have to say. Trying to keep Stella in the yard.”
As if on cue Stella comes running, she flies right by the camera, and leaps up and over the new fence in a single bound!! She barely paused and cleared the top with room to spare. Moments later the man simply says “Dammit!” It’s the perfect reaction to the moment and one can only imagine what a stupefied look he must have on his face. Stella: 1 Fence: 0!
In the end, the fence didn’t end up going to waste. The man commented that he re-purposed it into “a tree house with a zip-line for my grandson!” so it wasn’t a compete failure. This video just goes to show how everything worked out for the best, and how agile some dogs are! We all know someone who has to have the latest and greatest gadget on the market. For some it’s the fastest computer, others drool over the most advanced smart TV, but the one thing that people really go nuts for are cell phones. It seems that consumers can’t get enough when it comes to smart phones and every year companies roll out ever more technologically advanced models.
For years the iPhone led the pack as the most sought after cell phone in the world and people were lining up to buy the newly released versions. While the frenzy has died down quite a bit, the Apple brand still has loyal, die-hard fans who will only buy iPhones. One extreme example of this comes from the Chinese news media who ran a story about a man named Wang, also called Xiao Zheng little Jiang. Wang really, really wanted an iPhone, but his parents could not afford one, so he ended up taking drastic measures to get one instead.
In exchange for one of his kidneys the 17 year old Wang was given 22,000 Yuan, which in US dollars equals about $3,227, which was enough to buy the phone he wanted. The illegal deal and surgery were set up on the black market with some sketchy people he found online acting as middlemen. Unbeknownst to his parents or anyone else, he then travelled to a location in the Hunan Province where he met a surgeon and had his kidney removed. On the way back he bought the iPhone 4 he so desperately wanted plus an iPad 2, and he thought that things seemed to be going well.
However, shortly after the surgery Wang’s health took a turn for the worse. When he could no longer hide his declining health from his parents, they found out the shocking truth of what happened to him and immediately called the police. Upon investigating the police found that the operating theater where he had his surgery was not properly sanitized and carried out in an underground hospital, which led to him developing an infection in his one remaining kidney. Nine people who were involved in his surgery were arrested and jailed, while Wang and his family received 1.47 million Yuan ($214,130) in compensation.
Since then Wang’s health has only gotten worse. By the time he told his family about the illegal surgery and went to a hospital for proper treatment his remaining kidney had become severely infected. The damage was irreversible and without a kidney working to filter his blood he had to be placed on permanent dialysis. Now he is 25 years old and bed ridden, hooked up permanently to a dialysis machine, while his parents spend all their money on his treatment. It goes without saying that no tech device is worth an organ or risking your life for. While Wang’s story is sad, it’s also a cautionary tale for teenagers who want the latest and greatest, no matter the cost.

Girl Runs Out Of Restroom Crying In Mcdonald’s Then Her Mom Notices a Strange Spot On Her Leg!

When you are a little kid you are always trying to prove to your older siblings and parents that you can do everything they can do. It’s a constant struggle between trying to grow up too quickly and not trying to stay a baby forever. So many kids do need to learn how to be on their own and be independent but, as a parent there is a very thin line between your child’s independence and safety.
This brings us to today’s heartbreaking story about a mother named Nicole and her four year old baby girl Kaya. One afternoon they went to good ol’ Mcdonald’s for lunch. Like many kids her age McDonalds is her favorite restaurant and a treat she always looks forward to. Between happy meals, the toys and the ball pits and slides, McDonalds is like heaven.
They arrived at McDonalds that day, ordered their food, ate it and everything was fine. Then she asked her mama if she could go to the bathroom on her own to prove that she wasn’t a baby anymore. Her mom said yes thinking it should be fine, she will wait right outside and what could possibly go wrong?
Seconds before the young girl went into the bathroom her mom noticed 2 teen girls giggling as they exited the restroom.. It wasn’t a big deal, just some kids being kids and she didn’t really pay too much mind to those teen girls.
Kaya went into the bathroom for a few minutes and everything seemed fine. All of a sudden, Nicole heard a shrill scream and hysterics coming from the bathroom like she had never heard before! This wasn’t the first time Kaya was screaming or crying, but there was something about the sound of fear and panic in her young daughters voice that she knew something was seriously amiss.
Nicole got into the bathroom and looked in horror as she saw Kaya a few feet from the toilet and she her leg was bleeding. Her mom rushed over to her not knowing what was going on.
They would later find out that those two giggling teens were laughing because they put superglue on the toilet so that the next person who sat down would get stuck! The poor victim to the teens cruel prank was Kaya, who somehow got herself off the seat but the top layer of skin on her leg was still stuck to the seat.

Life is filled with stress. What is key are the coping mechanisms or strategies that you use in order to manage stress. No one handles stress perfectly; there is a continuum along which we experience things that contribute to how we feel. What is most important, is how willing we are to use the tools available to us, to reduce the amount of stress we end up experiencing on a regular basis.
The following stress test poses questions that pertain to common life stressors and you choose where you are on the continuum. Additionally it asks questions that pertain to the degree to which you use healthy or unhealthy coping strategies. Based on how you rank yourself both on frequency of life stressors and how often you utilize escapist/addictive vs healthy tools, will indicate the degree to which you are in touch with your inner purpose and sense of peace or turbulence.
Life is filled with ups and downs for all of us. Do you choose to be victimized by stress or are you willing to do what it takes to reduce these stressors by not “sweating the small stuff”. Do you choose to be productive and increase your sense of self worth, or do you stay paralyzed by fear?
This test is remarkably illuminating in revealing the degree to which you live in the light or in darkness. I found it very helpful to answer honestly and see where I am doing well and strategies that would help me to further reduce stress.

Sketchy Clerk Says To Guy His $600 Lotto Ticket Is Worth Only $5 Not Realizing He’s An Undercover Agent.

People play the lotto to win, it’s that plain and simple. Even if the prize is just enough to break even and cover the ticket cost, or you hit the mega jackpot, it feels good when you win something. If you ever do play and win, a good rule of thumb is to always make sure you sign the back of the winning ticket right away. That way if it is lost or stolen no one else can legally claim the prize for themselves, only the person who signed it can. Think of it as if you are receiving a check from someone and if you want to cash it you have to sign the back first.
Signing a ticket is the first line of defense against lotto fraud and protecting your winnings, but there are many other types of it out there that you should be aware of. If people can make a quick dollar by ripping someone else off, then they will do just that.
While there is a small minority of people who play the lotto religiously regardless of how much money is up for grabs, the vast majority of people play sporadically. They’re the ones who buy tickets when they are feeling lucky or when the Powerball or Mega Millions jackpot is approaching record numbers. They also are less likely to know the game rules and many check to see if they won anything by going to a store that sells lotto tickets and having the cashier scan it.
That’s exactly what one man did recently at a Winn Dixie in Fort Meyers, Florida. He gave the ticket to the clerk on duty at the time, Crystelle Yvette Baton, who scanned it and told him he won $5. She paid it out, kept the ticket, and the man went on his way. A couple hours later, the man came back and arrested the clerk for grand theft larceny, but why?
Apparently, the cashier was engaged in a scam that has become more common whereby customers who come in to cash their winning tickets are told they are not winners or that they won much less than the actual amount. First the cashier scans the unsigned ticket, if it is a winner for $100, they might say that the customer won $5, pay them the money, and throw the ticket out. The customer then leaves, the cashier fishes the winning ticket out of the garbage and cashes it in, netting themselves $95 in the process.
Which leads us back to Crystelle Baton who was running this exact scheme. Her luck ran out when the man walked in the store that day because he happened to be an undercover agent working for the Florida Lottery Commission’s security division. He knew he had a winning ticket in the amount of $600, so when she scanned it and told him he’d won $5, she sealed her fate. After paying him the $5 from her own wallet she then slipped the winning ticket in a notebook she had nearby and would have undoubtedly cashed it in later if she hadn’t been arrested.
This particular scam appears to be on the rise and while undercover stings catch some perpetrators, many more go unnoticed. As mentioned before, it’s always best to sign any winning ticket you buy and check the numbers yourself. Also, there are electronic checkers on the counters of businesses that sell the lotto, so you can scan the ticket yourself and avoid being lied to.

He Realized His Pup Stared At Him Every Night While He Slept. When He Finds Out The Truth It’s Heartbreaking!

Rescuing a dog from a shelter is one of the most selfless deeds you can ever do. Being able to care for an animal, and give them a second chance at life is such a beautiful thing. Not only are you saving them, but they will soon return the favor by being the best friend you could ever ask for. Dog’s unconditional is unmatched and they have heart’s of gold!
In today’s story we feature a man who decided to adopt a dog from a shelter. He drove to the rescue center, got out walked into the shelter and was immediately drawn to this one special golden retriever. He brought the pup home and just knew this was the perfect match for him and his family. Everybody in the household loved the pooch and the pooch loved them all back. He was fully trained, obedient and just an overall delight to be around.
Then one night the guy noticed something strange the golden retriever kept doing every single night. He had gotten a little dog gate so that the dog wouldn’t come in his room during bed time. Many people have these and it’s a great tool to let dogs know what is a dog friendly area of the house and what is not. Anyway, the man realized that every night when he went to sleep, his dog would wait by the gate all night and stare at him from the second he got into the bed, then fell asleep and when he woke up the dog would still be staring.
Initially he didn’t think much of it and thought it might just be because he was slightly uncomfortable in his new environment. Strangely, the behavior didn’t stop, it went on for weeks and then months. Finally the man wanted to figure out what or why his otherwise amazing dog was doing this every single evening. His first thought was, the pup wasn’t getting enough exercise and had excess energy that was causing him to stay up and watch him all night.
In turn, he began to increase his walk and playtime exponentially. The dog of course loved the new level of fun time with his beloved human, but when night came, there he was again, staring all night long. This became a little more concerning to the guy, he now thought maybe the dog had an underlying issue or illness. He brought the golden retriever to a Vet who examined him and did a full work up and everything came back fine. This dog was in great health physically which was great news, but why wasn’t he sleeping and why did he stay up all night staring at his intently.
Since the Vet couldn’t shed any light on what could possibly be going on, the guy went back to the shelter he adopted the pup from and asked them if they knew why he could possibly be doing this every single night. Surprisingly some of the staff had some insight and answer that could potentially be the reason the dog was exhibiting such a strange behavior.
They told him, his old owner’s wife got pregnant and the couple thought it would be way too much work to have a baby and a dog so they decided that they would get rid of the poor golden retriever and bring him to a shelter before the new baby was born. The old owner was crushed because he truly did love this dog but didn’t think he and his wife could handle the full responsibility. He decided to bring it to the shelter. The thing was, he just couldn’t stomach looking at the dog as he dropped him off at the rescue center and walked away.
One day, he waited for the golden retriever to fall asleep in the car. As he was sleeping the man quietly drove to the shelter, brought him in while the dog was still sleeping and left him at the shelter while the retriever was still catching z’s. When the poor dog woke up in a scary new place without his family he couldn’t understand what had happened. He was now alone in a cage, it was scary and there were lots of other strange dogs all around him also in cages.
They figured out that the poor dog, wouldn’t go to sleep or take his eyes off his new family because he couldn’t trust, that this new human wouldn’t just drop him back off at the shelter while he slept. Basically he was too scared to sleep because he didn’t want to get abandoned again! When his new owner put it all together his heart was shattered. This truly was the saddest thing he had ever heard.
That night he got back home assured his sweet dog he would never abandon him, then removed the gate that was blocking the dog from coming into his room while he slept. From now on the wonderful golden retriever could now sleep in the same room and bed as human and hopefully could trust people enough to get some sleep.
The guy posted his story online about his dog’s story and experience. The story quickly went viral and people from all over the world were touched by this one special shelter dog’s story. I dream of a world where all shelter dogs get fur ever homes! I know this golden retriever tore my heart up, as wipe a happy tear off my face as I write this final sentence…. Such a good dog!

She Notices a Strange Thing Inside Her Blueberry. She Looks Closer Is Stunned and Disgusted!

Blueberries stand out as one of the most widely consumed and healthiest types of berries, and food in general, that people consume. The small blue globes are packed full of antioxidants, vitamin K, fiber, vitamin C, and they help protect against diabetes and heart disease. The best part about them are how easy, versatile, and convenient they are. You can snack on them alone, bake them into other foods, make smoothies and mix them into oatmeal or breakfast cereal for a healthy, extra-tasty touch.
That’s exactly what one woman did when she poured a hearty bowl of her morning cereal and sprinkled a handful or two of blueberries over the top. It was part of her morning ritual, something she did every day and didn’t ever think twice about. However, all that was about to change.
Out of the corner of her eye she noticed something strange and out of place in her cereal. It was a blueberry that appeared off, there was a white spot on it, maybe it was moldy she thought. After taking it out of the bowl she had a closer look and what she saw put her off her breakfast and made her feel slightly ill inside. The white spot wasn’t mold at all, instead it appeared to be a spider nest!
A tiny spider must have burrowed inside the berry where it spun a nest and made itself at home. Disgusted, the woman ended up tossing her cereal and the rest of the berries, she didn’t want to take a chance with more spiders and had completely lost her appetite for any type of berry. As dismayed as she was, she did manage to take a quick picture of the offending berry and posted it online as a warning to others.
While not uncommon, finding a bug or spider in fresh fruits and veggies is never a pleasant sight, especially when you’ve already been snacking on them. Most produce sold in grocery stores has been pre-washed or treated in some way during the growing process, such as with pesticides, to keep bugs away. Even if they survive all that, by the time the product reaches the shelf any bug that may have been on it is likely gone.
However, because the woman had bought the blueberries at a nearby farmer’s market, and since they were organic, she knew no pesticides had been used on them. Being at a local market, they also hadn’t been handled as much or transported as far. The spider’s presence may have been a sign of quality and freshness but try telling that to someone who really dislikes spiders or has a full blown phobia of them!

She Was Up Partying All Night and She Was Given A Pill. What She Looks Like Now Broke My Heart!

In a local town of Glasgow, Scotland a beautiful 16-year-old, Amy Thompson, met up with her friends at a party. The purpose of this party was for all who attended to take “Ecstasy”; they believed that the pill they were taking was MDMA.
Almost immediately after ingesting their doses, Amy and her two friends collapsed, and were rushed to the hospital. Amy’s two friends completely recovered after a short period of time, but Amy remained in a coma. She was kept on life support for over a month, as her family sat by her side in disbelief and anguish!
Miraculously she awoke, but it immediately became apparent that something was very wrong. She had suffered severe physical and brain damage. She has courageously made strides in an attempt to recover as much functioning as possible, and hopefully will continue to make strides in physical and cognitive therapy.
She and her family have posted the footage of Amy, in her current condition, as a way of thanking all those who lent their support in her recovery.
Further, they want her story and this video to be used as a warning about the potential devastation of what a single pill looking for a night of fun, can do to a life.
