A Great Recipe To Poach 12 Eggs at Once.

Eggs are one of the most versatile foods to cook with and eat. They’re often a main ingredient in many recipes and can be cooked by themselves in lots of different ways. The fact that a dozen of them are inexpensive and widely available makes them a staple to have on hand. Plus, they make a great addition to main dishes or as a side accompaniment to a meal.
Even people who don’t happen to be master chefs can easily whip up a batch of scrambled, hard boiled, or fried eggs. However, when it comes to poaching an egg, that definitely falls on the more difficult side of the egg cooking-spectrum.
Poaching is a cooking method whereby a food is dropped and simmered in liquid. Usually water, milk, or some type of stock is used and it’s an ideal way to cook foods which tend to fall apart when cooked other ways. That’s why many recipes involving eggs, fish, chicken, and fruits are poached.
Mastering the technique can be tricky but if you follow the accompanying tutorial from the Food and Wine Test Kitchen’s Justin Chapple you’ll get it correct and soon you can be poaching up to 12 eggs simultaneously!
First off, you are going to need water, a muffin tin, and a dozen fresh large eggs. Start by pre-heating the oven to 350 degrees and then place one tablespoon of water in each of the cups on the muffin tin. Next, crack one egg into each slot, right on top of the water, and immediately place them into the heated oven.
Bake for 8-10 minutes and you’ll know they’re done if they match up with the following description- the egg white should be nice and firm and the yolk jiggly. To help keep them intact, use a slotted spoon to scoop them from the tin.
Also, if there’s any excess moisture simply place them on a paper towel lined plate and then sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. In the end, you should end up with neatly cooked egg whites that ensconce a still runny, slightly creamy, liquid yolk.
When you dig a fork into them and pierce the whites the yellow yolk will spill out and that’s what the ideal poached egg should look like. Bon Appétit!!

Cute Puppy Feels Air Conditioning For The First Time.

When the temperature is soaring and the sun is beating down, nothing quite hits the spot like some good old air conditioning. A constant streaming blast of icy cold air is immediately refreshing, especially if you happen have a black fur coat on like the Labrador puppy in this video.
The cute puppy was sitting in the front seat of his owner’s car when the air conditioning came on. The sudden flow of cool air was like a welcome northerly breeze to the little guy and he was both delighted and intrigued by the awesomeness of it. He tried to lap up the blowing air as if he were hanging his head out of the car window and his reaction was probably the cutest thing that he could have possibly done at that moment!
Now that it’s heating up again and summer is fast approaching, it’s a good time to spread awareness about the dangers of leaving pets, children, and any dependent person alone in a car, even for just a minute or two, on a warm or hot day. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) the temperature inside a car can quickly climb to 110° F or higher when the outside air temperature is in the 60s. On an 83° day the interior temperature can reach 109° in 15 minutes, even with the windows rolled down a couple of inches.
These temperatures are enough to cause heatstroke, where your body temperature rises to 104° or higher, and this can be deadly. Some individuals are more susceptible to heat stroke, as are pets, and dogs in particular can only cool down by panting or sweating through their paw pads. Once their body temps rise it’s hard to get them back down, which is why even a few minutes in a hot car can kill them.
If you know you are going someplace where you can’t bring your pet, leave them at home. If you have little kids and drop them off in the morning at daycare or something, set a reminder and always check the backseat when you lock and leave your car. Being aware and vigilant about this can only help save lives.

Silica gel packets come in many of the packages, boxes, and things that we order online or buy from the store. Shoes and purses often have a packet tossed in them and even some bagged foods, like jerky, come with a pack of the little beads. They serve a very important purpose and are there to adsorb excess moisture from their surroundings, thus keeping the goods they’re packaged with dry and damage free. If you thought you read part of the previous sentence incorrectly, you didn’t, because adsorbs is the proper word for what silica gel does.
It’s a desiccant, which means that it adsorbs and collects moisture on it’s surface, rather than absorbing it into itself as a towel or sponge would do. Silica’s porous surface works to pull in moisture because water molecules have a lot of places to grab onto and just one of the beads can hold almost half its weight in water, that’s a lot!
We often toss silica packets out after we receive them with whatever they came with, but you should start saving them instead because they have a lot of great alternative uses. This video covers a bunch of the ways silica packets can make life easier. These are the best uses for them.
1) Keep car windows fog free- fog and moisture build up on car windows is dangerous and annoying, to diminish and prevent it simply place a few silica gel packets around your car and near the front and rear windows to keep fog from building up.
2) Prolong the life of expensive razors- leaving razors near or in the bathroom and shower can greatly diminish how long they last by dulling the blades. Make them last longer by wiping off the razor and storing it in a container with 4-5 silica packets.
3) Save a water damaged phone- if you ever drop your cell phone in water or it somehow manages to get wet, try this; remove the battery and memory card from the phone then place it overnight in a container filled with silica packets.
4) Safe keep old photos- preserve your memories and keep them dry by tossing a few packets of silica gel in the box they’re stored in.
5) Keep pet food fresh- pet food seems to always get kind of mushy and soggy when its kept in the bag it came in. To avoid this, store food in a separate container and tape silica packets to the underside of the lid, your pets will thank you!
6) Prevent rust- tools often take a beating and many end up covered in rust. If you toss a few silica gel packs in your tool box it helps keep them in good, rust-free condition and makes them last longer.

Max was all ready and set to go swimming in his beautiful backyard pool when his mom suddenly told him that he couldn’t go for a dip. Since he had been looking forward to a relaxing swim all day long, he did not take the sudden change of events lightly.
Rather than remain calm, Max immediately launched into a noisy temper tantrum and let his unhappy feelings be known to anyone in the vicinity. This big boy wants to swim and he wants everyone to know! The fact that Max is deaf never stops him from arguing with his owners.

According to his Facebook bio page he lives in a beautiful house alongside his sister Katie, who also happens to be a Great Dane, his mom and dad, and several kitty cats. Some animals know exactly what they want and oftentimes they enjoy receiving a nice, gentle, relaxing hand massage from their human companions. It’s no secret that many of our furry pets love to be pet, which may be why we call them “pets” in the first place. Or maybe it’s the other way around, and we call it petting because they are our pets. Whatever the case may be, lots of animals simply love being stroked and scratched. They usually have a sweet spot where they especially like being rubbed. For cats it seems to be around the cheeks, dogs like their ears and back scratched, and then there are some whose sweet spot is everywhere and anywhere.
The little bunny in this video seems to fall in the latter category. From the looks of it he likes being pet all over, especially down his backside. The man in the video gently strokes his ears, nose, cheekbones, temples, head, and back, while the bunny twitches his nose and sits with a content expression on his face, his body completely relaxed and at ease.
When the man stops petting him the bunny is clearly not happy about it. He stamps his furry little paws and lets out adorable growling sounds in protest. It might just be the cutest behavior I’ve ever seen a rabbit do! At one point the furry little guy searches for more pet-pets by crawling under the man’s hand, urging him to resume the mini-massage that he so rudely ended. This bunny knows what he wants and he’s basically telling the man through his grunts, growls, and foot thumping that he is not pleased the cuddle session ended!
Contrary to popular belief, lots of rabbits love being pet and shown affection. The areas they most enjoy being pet is on their head and down their backside. Many often like their dewlap, the roll of skin underneath their chin, scratched and rubbed, but some don’t like this at all. The bunny will let you know whether or not it’s enjoying the attention. When they purr, chatter their teeth, flop over, and close their eyes it means they like it and if you stop and they poke your hand with their head it means “don’t stop, keep petting!”
Rabbits are very expressive, you just have to know how to read them, and over time you become familiar and accustomed to an individual one’s behavior. Like every other pet, they have their own distinct personalities!

Dogs often have mixed feelings when it comes to riding in a car or truck. Some absolutely love going for a breezy cruise and will readily jump right on in, whereas others loathe having to go for a ride and will do anything to avoid it. Then there are the majority who fall somewhere in the middle. They are the puppy’s who seem to enjoy car excursions or at least tolerate them. That’s where Bosley, the adorable French Bulldog in this video, fits in.
He’s tiny but boy can he throw a hissy fit! Safety first even if it means that the little guy will throw a huge tantrum like a toddler who doesn’t get their ice cream. Sometimes as a parent and in this case a pet parent you need to do the right thing regardless of how your fur baby reacts. Bosley trust us this is for your own good and you will thank your humans when you are older.
The cute little Frenchie was out and about one day riding in the car with his owner when something upset him. Perhaps it was the car seat that he was securely strapped into in the backseat, it doesn’t look like the most comfortable thing to sit in. Even so, the doggy seat is for his own good and protection. Not only will it keep him safe and sound, he looks adorable in it!
While the car seat may or may not have been the source of his frustrations, Bosely was clearly not happy. He made sure that his feelings were known and clearly heard by throwing a mini tantrum, protesting and whining in the cutest possible way that only a little Frenchie could pull off! He whimpers and squeals as he cries his way through the short clip while giving his saddest puppy face to the camera. He’s so cute and funny!
Near the very end of the video Bosley’s older sister Beatrice, a fellow French Bulldog, pops her head up and makes a surprise guest appearance! She’s checking in on her noisy brother and seeing what all the fuss is about. The two dogs live in Colorado with their loving owner who’s always taking them out and bringing them along on nice walks and fun trips to area parks. When it comes to cats and dogs, it seems like they either get along great or they can’t stand each other. The adorable black and white dog in this clip falls under the latter category, he would absolutely love and adore to have a fellow animal companion by his side. Well, at least that’s how his owner imagines his dog’s thoughts and feelings to be!
Although most likely these are this cute pups precious wish to have a new best friend! He especially does not want a snake, hamster, guinea pig, mouse, gerbil, newts or parrots. This pup is very clear he wants a new kitty!

Not many animals really enjoy taking trips, much less one to the veterinarian’s office. Just like people hate visiting the doctor, our pets hate visiting the vet! Who can blame them, the smells and sights they encounter there are totally foreign and strange. There are other animals in close proximity which makes them even more nervous and the vibe that all this leads to is one of fear and anxiety.
Even though most vets are absolutely incredible and gentle with our pets it really doesn’t make much difference. Not to mention, many times when we bring our pets to the vet it is because they’re sick or injured and that makes them associate the place with pain and sadness. Basically if you have a pet who doesn’t mind going to the vet consider yourself blessed!
While many pets have no clue they’re headed to the vet, some animals have developed a 6th sense for it. They seem to instinctively know that they are about to go to the animal hospital and freak out before you can even get the leash on or stick them in the carrier! Cats will run and hide somewhere impossible to drag them out of, dogs will bark or cower in fear, and some birds will throw a hissy fit!
At least that’s what the cockatoo in this clip does. His name is Max and he is one the cutest, most hilarious birds you’ll ever see! When his owner breaks out his carrier to take him to the vet, Max runs under a shelf and hides in the darkest corner he can find. He’s a very vocal bird and gives his human companion a piece of his mind, letting him know exactly how he feels about the vet. The sound of his voice is strange, it’s almost like he’s possessed and it’s hard to make out what he’s saying.
When the camera shot changes, we can see Max has come out of his dark hole and is now under a bench. His owner is still trying to get him into his carrier and he’s still putting up a fight! His tone is the only thing that really changes, it’s much more clear and according to his owner he’s saying “What did I say” and “I don’t wanna.”
The angry little fella walks around with his chest all puffed out and he flaps his wings in protest. Even though he’s upset, it’s absolutely adorable! In the end, it’s in his best interests to go to the vet so they can make sure he’s all healthy and up to date on things. Man Took Down An Old Wall In His House and Finds an Old Box Filled With Treasure

For anyone who has ever renovated their house, apartment or office knows how challenging it can be and how even the smallest details can end up taking weeks to fix. Although if you love a good project and working with your hands, renovating a room or space can be pretty fun and rewarding when you are finished and look at your final product. Also on a side-note knocking down walls can be very therapeutic and cathartic FYI. Anyway, this brings us to today’s magical story of discovery.
A man who is a DIY expert and posts his projects online all the time decided to do a little renovation on his house which was originally built back in the 1940’s. And by little, I mean a really big renovation, he had already completely redone the entire first and second floor of his house and was now ready to go all the way downstairs and finish up the old basement.
He got down to the basement and began to get to work. Nothing really seemed out of the ordinary, just an old cellar that needed to desperately refurbished. As he started measuring and figuring out exactly what he was going to do with the space he started to notice a couple strange things on the wall. There were some names and stick figures written on it which looked like they were done by some kids who possibly used to live in the house back in the 40’s. He didn’t think much of it, and continued to the next part of the basement renovation.
Next, he started to disassemble the ceiling and walls under it, removing old wiring, insulation, wood planks to get to the beams supporting the house. After digging his way through everything he noticed something out of the corner of his eye that didn’t look like it was supposed to be there….
A silver and grey box was just sitting there in the wall. It looked like whoever put it there went through a lot of trouble to get it into this spot and his curiosity and mind began to run wild. What could possibly be in this thing? But before he opened it, being the DIY online expert that he is, got some photos of the box and posted them for his online community to see.
When he posted the picture, he called the box a treasure and he wanted everybody to be part of the discovery process. After he did his post he went back downstairs carefully grabbed the box and brought it outside to his driveway. His wife came out with him as they inspected it. Then he ran inside to try and find a banana. No it’s not because all this renovation was causing him to have a craving for some potassium, it was to take a side by side picture so that people could tell how big the box was compared to an average sized banana.
He looked and looked but no banana was in the house, so he grabbed what looks like possibly an old toothbrush? Either way it would give his fans in his online community a better sense of his new found treasure. He then did another post where he described what he thought it might be, and wanted the online community to make guesses to bring some fun to this little treasure adventure.
Finally, he couldn’t hold back any longer, it was time to open this mysterious box. He slowly began to try and get the lid off trying not to damage or break the box or the contents inside. When the top was finally off, he got to another layer of the box that looked like a layer of wax to cover whatever surprise was beneath.
He carefully removed the wax only to find another layer of newspaper dated 1951, which had clearly been wrapped around whatever was hiding within. Even though the newspaper 1951 was a cool vintage discovery, it wasn’t the main attraction! There were 3 tightly wrapped packages, again the packaging looked like it was some type of wax.
Next before he tried to remove all the wax, he took another picture which he posted again online. There was a slight green emanating from under the wax and he wrote maybe it could be money? Not sure will check back soon to his online buddies.
With eager anticipation he finally removed the first of the three wax packages. It was filled with a stack of older looking $20 bills. Then he went to the next one, there weren’t 20’s in this stack they were old vintage $50 bills. Finally he got to the third and final package. This one didn’t have 20’s or 50’s it was filled with $100 bill!
The couple began to count all the cash in the stacks. After all was said it done, it was about $20,000! If that wasn’t amazing enough some of these bills looked old and were most likely collectors items and could be sold for a lot more!
He was basically just in shock, but he did the smart thing, he talked to multiple lawyers and dollar bill appraisers to find out exactly what to do and how much these vintage bills in this treasure chest were actually worth! After a full week of meetings and trying to figure out what to do with the money and if it was legal to keep it, he went back downstairs to finish his renovation project.
That’s when lightning struck the bottle twice. As he continued working through his basement renovation he found a second box, which was identical to the first one, the only difference was this one definitely weighed more. He opened it up and there was more surprise treasures.

Neighbors Spot a Strange Boy Walking Beside This Deer Everyday

Usually when you think of a animals with their human counterparts maybe you think of a dog, cat, hamster or parrot. However in today’s story we will be covering a more unique and rare Animals and Man have been living symbiotically for thousands of years.
Whether it was the domestication of horses, dogs, cats, cows and the list goes on and on we have been working with our four-legged counterparts for a very long time. Usually when you think of a animals with their human counterparts maybe you think of a dog, cat, hamster or parrot. However in today’s story we will be covering a more unique and rare relationship between a little boy and a Deer!
This strange and rather beautiful story takes place in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. A couple living in a modest house in a suburb of Chicago looked out there window a few days in a row and noticed something rather strange. At first they thought they must be hallucinating, maybe Folgers put a little something extra in their coffee, maybe they hadn’t woken up yet and were dreaming they thought. But it was none of the above, they were awake and no they were not a hallucinating, a little boy walking side by side with a deer past their house on the sidewalk was happening at the same time each day.
After a few days of witnessing this rare sight, they prepared a camera and we’re going to document this strange oddity so others could see. That day at the same time, they waited by their window and just as they had the past few days the deer and the young boy again were walking down the street of a Chicago suburb! They grabbed the camera and took several photos. They made sure that they didn’t take any from the front so they wouldn’t intrude on the boys privacy just in case he didn’t want others to know he was the boy with the deer! After what seemed like a National Geographic photoshoot they ran to the computer, uploaded the images to reddit and then basically broke the internet..
As reddit threads usually do, they break down every little detail of the topic at hand. From the most obvious to the smallest minutia and this boy and deer were absolutely the talk of the town on reddit. People were coming up with theories about what they were doing, where they were going, who the boy was and why the strange deer always walked next to him.
After they saw the buzz the picture was getting in the reddit community, they knew the next day they would have to go outside, wait for the boy and ask him what was truly going on here?! So that day they waited again at the same time and sure enough like clockwork the boy and the deer were headed down their normal route. The couple slowly walked up to the pair as carefully as possible so they wouldn’t spook the female deer. They politely asked the boy some questions and he had no problem answering all their questions. First he told them that the deer was in fact blind! Next, he went on to explain the reason why he was walking with the deer everyday down the random streets of a Chicago, suburb.
The kid had somehow become the blind deers “seeing-eye-boy” helping him navigate safely through the suburbs of Chicago. He made sure that no strangers would spook, scare or hurt the blind deer and also would make sure that no car would hit the animal. On top of all of this, he wasn’t just going for a daily walk with the deer he was actually bringing him to fields with plenty of grass and food so the blind deer could eat and not starve to death. Also the young boy would do all of this amazing goodness right before he went to school.
The couple also said he was so gentle and sweet to the blind deer. He always stayed calm making the deer feel safe and comforted the whole time as he guided her with a hand placed softly on the back of the deers neck. This random act of kindness and love for fellow creatures on planet earth is seldom seen and this boy truly restored the faith in humanity for many people.
When the full details hit the web, the internet basically just exploded! Everyone was in such awe that such kindness in a world that seems so cruel could still happen today….

Oh, the satisfaction this man must feel at the end of the video! How many months, even years did he live with this monster residing in his ear? Too many fruit flies? Fill a glass with apple cider vinegar, cover it with plastic wrap, and poke a few holes. The flies enter, but cannot escape. It can even be used to straighten clothes if an iron isn’t available. These metals and minerals are naturally occurring, most often in areas with low water tables and mountainous regions, and water that contains them is perfectly safe to use and drink. The biggest downside to it is the crusty, whitish colored mineral deposits and stubborn stains it leaves behind. Over time these gradually build up on stuff, especially faucets and shower heads.
Many people struggle to remove these stains and often think that they need strong, harsh chemical cleaners to get rid of them effectively. However, there’s a better and more affordable way to go about cleaning a shower head with crusted on mineral build up. All you need is apple cider vinegar, a Ziploc bag, and a rubber band.
Simply pour some apple cider vinegar into the plastic bag and place it over and on the shower head. Use a rubber band to secure it in place and then leave it on overnight. Remove the baggy the following day, wipe the shower head clean, and it should be restored to its former glory!

In a spray bottle container mix together 2 parts isopropyl alcohol with 1 part water and then add in 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap. Shake it up, spray it directly onto an icy windshield, and watch the ice literally melt away right before your very eyes!
This rubbing alcohol spray is the perfect thing to have on hand for freezing cold mornings and icy windshields. You can leave the bottle in your car and it won’t even freeze, unless it gets well under zero. That’s because the freezing point of isopropyl alcohol is -128.2 degrees Fahrenheit, so when you spray it on the ice, it doesn’t freeze up. Instead, it helps to melt the ice and keeps it from re-freezing. Since all you have to do is mist it on, it’s by far the quickest and easiest way to clear a windshield that’s coated with a thick layer of ice.

5) Organize Winter Gear- Hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, hand warmers, neck warmers and all other winter accessories can be neatly stored in one accessible place with a shoe organizer. Hang it over a door and never search for lost gloves again.

I never was a person who believed that after someone dies, that it would be possible to feel their presence in any way. Grieving is a very long process, that is most acute in the first few years that you lose someone whom you love, but it truly does go on in different forms for the rest of one’s life. One day I smelled his after-shave, as I nervously was getting ready for an important interview…somehow I just knew that he had been watching over me and made his presence known in this way. I broke down in tears of relief and appreciation.

It has been my experience, as well as that reported by many who have suffered the loss of someone very dear to them, that grief is not something you just get over. It is more painful in the beginning (first few years), but actually continues throughout the course of your life. His prognosis was grim, and doctors told his mother that if Landon did make it, he would likely not be able to walk or eat on his own and that he’d be like an 8 year old child for the rest of his life. Two weeks later a miracle happened. Landon woke up, opened his eyes, and was able to communicate clearly. He was not brain damaged at all. Now Julie had to tell him the heartbreaking news that his father had died.
Wanting to be as gentle as possible, Julie asked her son if he knew where his father was. Landon said he knew and that he saw his father in heaven. His mother was stunned when he went on to say that he also saw two family friends who had passed and two of her other children as well in heaven. At first, she was confused by this then remembered that before she had him, she’d miscarried twice.
She had never told Landon about those losses because he was still too young to understand. She couldn’t explain any of what he told her and so she took it as proof that Landon had been to heaven. Through all of the heartbreak and loss she’d experienced in the last couple of weeks, she found comfort in the thought and her faith in God was renewed.

In today’s story this is exactly what Taylor Smith Johnson a teenager from Tennessee did. One day she woke up and decided to write who future self a letter that she would open on April 13, 2023.
Taylor decided age 22 would be the perfect time for her future self to read this letter as a reminder of what trajectory she wanted her life to head. She had big dreams, great ambition, wanted to travel all around the world, go to college and possibly graduate school while having God always in her heart.
Then without warning a few months after she wrote this letter, Taylor died from Pneumonia and would never be able to open the letter she had written months earlier. Her parents were completely crushed by the loss of their daughter, as losing a child is probably the worst thing that could ever happen to a parent.
As Taylor’s parents tried to cope with the loss of their daughter even going into her room was too difficult. The memories would flood back into their minds and they would immediately break down not being able to cope with the terrible loss.
Then months later, her mother finally had the strength to enter Taylor’s room and she stumbled upon the letter Taylor wrote to her future self. Her mom with tears in her eyes, opened the envelope and began reading the letter. She was stunned by all the things Taylor aspired to and wished her sweet little girl could just come back and do everything she dreamed of.
Although, her daughter was gone, it felt as if she sent this letter from heaven and it gave her mom some peace and closure that she desperately needed. Taylor could no longer be with her family in the physical form but she just knew her little angel would always be with them in spirit.

Adorable Little Girl Finds a Hidden Room In Her Home.

When parents are getting ready for a new baby in their family they go through all sorts of preparations you wouldn’t even know existed until you experience it. Whether it’s painting the room perfectly pink for a girl, or a beautiful blue for a boy nursery, every little detail matters. The house has to be completely baby proofed so no accidents happen! Pretty much your entire living space has to evolve into a cozy nest for your new babe on the way.
This brings us to today’s very interesting and very unique story. A husband and wife who just got the news that they were expecting a new baby. Like many other couples they jumped through the usual preparation hoops, but the father of this soon-to-be baby girl came up with an intricate plan that would take years to execute to completion. To be more precise dad’s plan would take exactly 6 years from the day his daughter was born to the moment his creative plan would come to fruition.
While his wife was pregnant he came up with a plan which involved him hiding an object in the house. This unknown object would remain hidden in their house for the first 6 years of his daughter’s life.
The day his little princess turned 6, he began by telling her she needed to clean out some dusty old trash from an old trunk. As his little girl began cleaning out the trunk, her father secretly began filming and her mother and grandma, having previous knowledge of his master plan were watching her every move.
Finally she got to the bottom of the trunk, after she got through all the useless crap, and she found a surprise in there she never could’ve seen coming. It was an aged brownish paper, which looked like an old treasure map taken straight from a pirate’s ship. When it first hit her that she was now in the middle of a treasure hunt and she was the sole owner of the map, she became super excited and ready for her big adventure.
At first she tried to orient herself, what was this map depicting? Where did it lead to? Would she have to leave her house to find the hidden treasure which awaited her? All these thoughts and more ran through her little imagination. Finally she realized the map was actually an ancient blueprint of her very own home.
As she looked at the map, followed the different paths which it led, she soon noticed that the hidden treasure was actually right inside her room! Was it possible that for her entire life she was sleeping in a room with a hidden treasure she didn’t know existed? She would soon find out.
The map brought her into her room as her dad, mom and grandma followed behind her. She looked around and from the looks of it, the map was directing her to a certain wall in her room, that according to the map concealed a hidden doorway into a magical secret room!
She walked up to the wall where the map said her treasure would be located, but from what she could see there was no hidden door, no way to get inside and no way she would be able to find what she was looking for. This is where dad decided to help her out just a drop, as he began to lightly tap and knock on the wall, which echoed back with a strange hollow sound.
Dad then took everything up to the next level, when he grabbed an electric saw and began cutting into this wall. He sawed a perfect sized square in the wall, which was the perfect size for his daughter to crawl inside and see what surprise awaited her on the other side. As excited as the little girl was, her dad might have even been even more ecstatic being that this was a 6 year project finally culminating right now!
The little girl went through the little square and was amazed to see a magical hidden room, which was only a few feet away from where she slept every night! She couldn’t believe what she was seeing or what was happening. She began looking around the hidden room when she spotted something, which looked like a little treasure chest.
She quickly ran to the box, opened it and inside were all sorts of old vintage coins, magical talismans and what looked like ancient jewels and jewelry. She was over the moon with excitement. So was her father but as he saw how much she was loving every second of this, he just couldn’t tell her he was the man who set this up all those years ago!
For the next few days, his daughter couldn’t stop showing off all her magical treasures to her mom, dad and grandma. She spent hours every day playing with each special object. Her dad decided that he wouldn’t tell her the truth about how he planted this box years ago so that his daughter would one day have this amazing moment straight out of an old fairy tale!

Does your trash can smell like garbage, even when it’s empty? Soak a piece of bread in vinegar and leave it in the garbage can overnight, and voila, no more stank. It can also be used as an all-purpose cleaner: just fill up a spray bottle with one third vinegar and two thirds water.
Too many fruit flies? Fill a glass with apple cider vinegar, cover it with plastic wrap, and poke a few holes. The flies enter, but cannot escape. It can even be used to straighten clothes if an iron isn’t available. A few other uses include keeping cats off the furniture, helping cut flowers stay fresh longer, getting tough stains out of pots and pans and cleaning glasses for a smudge-free sheen. Hard water can be a real pain in the neck and the nasty looking stains and blemishes that it leaves behind on bathroom and kitchen surfaces can be extremely hard to fully remove. The ugly spots and stains are caused by water that contains large amounts of minerals such as limestone, calcium, and magnesium.
These metals and minerals are naturally occurring, most often in areas with low water tables and mountainous regions, and water that contains them is perfectly safe to use and drink. The biggest downside to it is the crusty, whitish colored mineral deposits and stubborn stains it leaves behind. Over time these gradually build up on stuff, especially faucets and shower heads.
Many people struggle to remove these stains and often think that they need strong, harsh chemical cleaners to get rid of them effectively. However, there’s a better and more affordable way to go about cleaning a shower head with crusted on mineral build up. All you need is apple cider vinegar, a Ziploc bag, and a rubber band.
Simply pour some apple cider vinegar into the plastic bag and place it over and on the shower head. Use a rubber band to secure it in place and then leave it on overnight. Remove the baggy the following day, wipe the shower head clean, and it should be restored to its former glory!

In a spray bottle container mix together 2 parts isopropyl alcohol with 1 part water and then add in 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap. Shake it up, spray it directly onto an icy windshield, and watch the ice literally melt away right before your very eyes!
This rubbing alcohol spray is the perfect thing to have on hand for freezing cold mornings and icy windshields. You can leave the bottle in your car and it won’t even freeze, unless it gets well under zero. That’s because the freezing point of isopropyl alcohol is -128.2 degrees Fahrenheit, so when you spray it on the ice, it doesn’t freeze up. Instead, it helps to melt the ice and keeps it from re-freezing. Since all you have to do is mist it on, it’s by far the quickest and easiest way to clear a windshield that’s coated with a thick layer of ice.

3) DIY Boot Inserts- Maintain the shape of tall boots by cutting a foam pool noodle into thirds or fourths, then stick a piece in each boot and they’ll stay upright, making them easier to organize and wear later on.
4) Stop Wipers From Freezing to a Car Windshield- Take an old pair of long cotton socks and slide them over each wiper, puling it down as far as it can go or reaches. This will prevent wipers from freezing and/or sticking to the windshield, and makes life all the more easier.
5) Organize Winter Gear- Hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, hand warmers, neck warmers and all other winter accessories can be neatly stored in one accessible place with a shoe organizer. Hang it over a door and never search for lost gloves again.
6) Windshield Treatment- This one is the best! A combination of vinegar and water works wonders at preventing frost and ice from building up on car windshields and windows. Mix the two liquids up in a spray bottle, spritz it on car windows, then wipe off with a soft cloth.
7) Boot Tray- Keep floors safe, clean, and dry by making your own boot tray. This one is much more appealing than commercially available ones and works even better. Fill a large metal cookie sheet with a layer of decorative rocks and put it near the door so that when people enter they can immediately place wet boots on the rocks. The water will drip through the rocks to the bottom and soon evaporate. Clean air vents with small foam brushes. They can easily fit in even the smallest vents and pick up all the dirt and dust inside them.
Use coffee filters to dust your car dashboard. Unlike cloth towels and paper towels, coffee filters won’t leave behind lint or just push dust around. Instead they work great at picking up dust and you can toss a few in the glove compartment for whenever you might need one to freshen up the dash.
Get streak free windows by cleaning them with newspaper. It’s the cloths and paper towels that leave streaks when you clean your windows so don’t even bother using them. Instead, spray down the window with cleaner and wipe it off with a piece of newspaper as you normally would.
Get rid of stubborn, lingering odors by sprinkling baking soda on car seats and carpets. Let it sit for a couple of hours before vacuuming it up. The baking soda should absorb the foul odors, leaving your car smelling fresh and clean.

Mama Confronts Her Dog About The Giant Mess. He Denies It With a Huge Tantrum.

Anyone who has ever shared their heart and home with a Siberian Husky knows how intelligent and spirited they are. The beautiful dogs are full of personality and are social, friendly, accepting, and extremely energetic. They love to run and play and if they don’t get enough exercise in they can easily become bored and restless. As cute as they may be, Huskies are seriously a lot of work. They are well-known for their penchant for wandering and are highly capable escape artists. That’s the reason why they’re called the “Houdini” of the dog world and some are even able to clear 6+ foot fences with ease.
Oftentimes if a Husky is left alone it’ll end up turning to destructive behaviors, which can get them into a lot of trouble. This, coupled with the fact that many people keep their dogs inside when they step out so as to keep them safe and secure at home, can turn out to be a disaster.
Such was the case for one Husky dog’s owners who left their boy named Blu alone when they went out on a date. When they returned home they opened the door to find a huge mess and adorable, handsome looking Blu was sitting right their waiting for them in the middle of it!
Apparently the big Husky had decided to rip apart his nice comfy bed while they were gone and parts of it were strewn all over the wood floor. Bits and pieces of shredded bedding were everywhere and there was simply no way that Blu could try to deny his guilt, that is if he even wanted to. Rather than hang his head in shame and act like he was sorry, he started mouthing off to his parents!
As they tried to reprimand and ask what he’d done, Blu talked over them and started whining and crying out loudly. He didn’t even stop to take a breathe and his stream of moaning and groaning continued on until it turned into a full out tantrum. He wasn’t holding back and while most tantrums can easily become annoying, his was just the funniest, cutest thing ever. Check him out and see what I mean!
