When you go hiking, you never know what you might find. When two men in Germany were hiking in the fields, they made an incredible discovery! They first noticed a couple of pipes sticking up out of the ground. Looking around more, they discovered a hidden door covered in the underbrush. They decided to look inside.
Behind the door was a metal grate. The men were a little cautious to go past it. However, the lock had already been broken off and so they decided to continue down. Going down some stairs, the men entered a long concrete hallway resembling a hallway in a hospital. The hallway was completely empty except for two things: an old shopping bad and a metal pipe.
While there were many adjacent hallways to the one the men had entered, they decided to continue down the main one to avoid getting lost. The walls were mostly in good condition except for one that looked like it had been hit with a hammer.
In one of the offshoot hallways, they found a narrow hole in the floor filled with dirty water. Even further down the hallway was an intersection. The floor had been broken up into bricks and there was disturbing graffiti covering the walls. The men were clearly not the first to discover these catacombs.
Next, the men discovered a yellow door that had been taken off its hinges. This perplexed the men because the door was extremely heavy resembling a door used in a bank vault. On the door were Slavic letters that read “Exit #2.”
They went a little further and discovered another door that had been graffitied as well. The graffiti read, “Satan I Love You.” That was too much for the men and they headed back the way they had come. The reason for the tunnels’ presence remains unknown at this time.

Corn on the cob is just as American as apple pie and when it’s in season you can often find it at any farmer’s market, roadside stand, or grocery store in the country that’s worth their salt. While eating the corn is easy, picking out the best, most fresh ears is not. Nothing is worse than buying some corn, lugging it home and cooking it up, just to sink your teeth into a bland piece of mealy corn.
You can avoid that scenario in the first place by knowing exactly what to look for when picking out corn at the market. Here are some tips from CBS New York’s “Fresh Grocer” segment on selecting the freshest, sweetest ears of corn. First, check the outside appearance and look for tight husks that hug the corn, avoid loose ones.
Peel back a section of the husk so that you can view the inside kernels and check to see whether or not they look healthy and if they’re arranged in tight, compact, straight and even rows. Avoid ears with kernels that are loose or falling out. Finally, don’t wait a day or two to cook the corn.
If possible, cook it right away to preserve the best flavors because the sugars inside the kernels are rapidly breaking down and turning into starches. Those sugars are what make corn on the cob taste so sweet and yummy, so the longer you wait, the less sweet they will taste.
Here’s another corn on the cob cooking tip. Bring a pot of water to a boil and then add some milk to it. Place the ears in the milky water and drain when done. You’ll end up with delicious, sweet, creamy tasting corn that melts in your mouth.

Golden Retriever Mom Gives Birth To a Huge Litter. But 1 Puppy Is So Rare That There Have Only Been 3 Ever Recorded!

Having a dog is truly one of the best parts about the human experience on planet earth. Man’s best friend isn’t just a nickname, it’s a fact. Dogs are the most loyal companions you will ever come across in your entire life. There is nobody in the world, animal, plants or humans who will be more devoted and caring towards you. Anybody who has ever had a good dog can attest to this sentiment. When it comes to having a great pup, there is no better dog breed than the Golden Retriever.
Golden Retrievers are one of the kindest, most gentle and perfect breeds to add to your family. Not only are they great with kids, strangers, family and friends but they are also the perfect friend to go on a hike with, climb a mountain or just about doing anything at all with. Every year they are consistently in the top 5 most popular breeds in America. The only flaw of this particular breed I can even think of, is they do tend to shed a lot, but anybody who loves dogs won’t mind a little extra layer of fur all over their house or apartment.
This brings us to today’s story featuring a pregnant Golden Retriever named Rio who was just about to give birth to her second litter of adorable little puppies! This wasn’t her first rodeo, as her first pregnancy went very smoothly with no complications, she gave birth to 5 healthy pups and was an absolutely fabulous mother to them all. However, when the Veterinarian examined her during her second pregnancy he realized very soon that Rio wouldn’t be carrying only 5 little pups. The vet told Rio’s humans that he could be totally sure but there was going to be much more puppies this time around.
He explained to them that because she was pregnant with so many puppies this time around, it was going to be very important for her not to get over excited, worked up or use unnecessary energy that she would otherwise need during the pregnancy, then during birth and then for taking care of so many of the soon-to-be puppies!
Louise Sutherland Rio’s Human is from Scotland and the vet also told her that not only would she have to make sure there was no over-exertion but also that Louise would have to be prepared to help during the actual birth of the new pups! Louise loved Rio as if she was her own child so she eagerly accepted the vets advice and was prepared to do whatever she needed to do to make the rest of Rio’s pregnancy and birth as easy as possible.
Finally after 63 day on the dot, Rio was ready to give birth to her litter as she looked around for a nice soft warm area to nest and give birth to her puppies. Luckily for Rio, Louise was already prepared with a fresh big crate filled with soft blankets so that she could be as comfortable as possible during the birth of this huge litter and also so that the new pups introduction into the world would be as warm, cozy and loving as possible.
Louise was taking her job as serious as she possibly could. She had gloves, mucus sucker bottles of H2O, tissues to clean the pups and mom up and to top it all off 9 collars for each new adorable pup! Each collar was also a different color so that she could keep track of which puppy was which because at such a young age it is truly difficult to tell them apart!
Louise wanted to document this whole birth because there were going to be so many puppies and she also would love to show the vet and all her friends! So she turned on the video camera right on time and the birth began to commence. As the birth proceeded, each puppy one by one was just popping out. The Golden Retriever mama ended up giving birth to a total of 9 puppies! There were 8 male and just 1 female adorable Golden Retriever puppies. As far as Louise could tell, the entire birth besides the first pup which took a bit of time to come out, ran smooth, she inspected, weighed and looked over the puppies and for all intensive purposes they all looked and seemed completely healthy.
Then she noticed something very strange about one of the puppies. He looked similar in size and weight to the other pups however this little guy was a very rare and special puppy with a very strange colored fur coat….

Practically every household in America has at least one hair dryer somewhere inside of it, especially if a female or person with longer hair lives in the home. The powerful gadgets are a beauty tool staple that make drying and styling hair a lot easier and quicker to do, but that’s not all they’re good for.
Household Hacker, one of the most inventive and ingenious YouTube channels out there, compiled a few of the most useful hair dryer hacks known to man in this video. These eight hacks are truly helpful so be sure to check them out because somewhere down the line at least one of them is guaranteed to come in handy! Without further ado, here is a breakdown of everything you need to know that’s covered in the video.
A common problem around the house are those ugly marks and stain rings that get left behind on furniture by hot or cold glasses. The unsightly stains are caused by moisture trapped in the finish and they can easily be removed by blowing hot air on the spot for a few minutes.
When you need to blow up an air mattress don’t waste your time and energy doing it by mouth or with a vacuum cleaner which likely requires specific attachments (that you’ve likely lost). Grab a plastic bottle, cut it in half, and attach it onto the end of the blow dryer with duct tape. Stick it snugly against the air hole and turn it on the coolest setting, the mattress will inflate quickly and effortlessly.
One of life’s slightly more painful experiences is when it comes time to remove band-aids or any other type of adhesives from our skin. It can feel like you’re ripping your hair and skin off and often a dirty, sticky residue gets left behind. To eliminate the pain and the mess, set a hair dryer to warm and aim it directly at the band-aid for a few minutes. Now when you go to remove, it should peel right off nice and easily.
If you ever need to open a sealed envelope without tearing or ripping it apart, simply blow warm air on the sticky part where it’s closed shut. After a few moments, slowly and gently begin peel up along the edges of the flap until it’s completely open. Now you can add or remove whatever you may need to, and re-seal it, without wasting a perfectly good envelope or package mailer.
Spilling hot, liquid candle wax can be a nightmare, especially if it lands right on a nice rug or the carpet. Cleaning up the hardened mess is near impossible to accomplish, unless you use this trick. Place a couple of paper towels over the wax and blow hot air directly on the spot for a couple of minutes. The paper towels will pick up and absorb the re-melted wax, and you may need to gently press on them to help get it all off.
De-wrinkle clothing without putting it in the dryer or ironing by misting on a little bit of water or Febreze spray. Use hot air to blow out the wrinkles and smooth them out as you go. After about just a minute or two your clothes will be smooth and presentable.
If you ever run into the issue of your glasses not fitting comfortably on your head anymore, use a blow dryer to fix them and get the fit back to being just right. Find out what part of the plastic needs tweaking and blow hot air on it until you’re able to re-mold it into a shape that fits.

The two grandmas, Audrey and Peggy, first have to figure out how to work the car’s infamous vertical doors before they can head out. As they hop into the very powerful, very expensive, and very low slung supercar Audrey remarks “You call it ‘lambo’ I call it ‘ghini’!” and with that they’re off! Not so much, Peggy puts it into drive and almost hits the garage door. Once she figures out how to reverse, they’re off!
The pair are headed out to do some errands and head to the grocery store. On the way there everyone they pass by stares and turns their heads, some even take pictures. The exotic car is a natural attention grabber and the fact that two grandmas are driving in it, with one waving out the window like royalty, make it nearly impossible for anyone to not stop and stare! Their banter back and forth is hilarious, they refer to themselves as “Lamborghini Queens” and giddily live it up. These two know how to have a good time and seem more like teenagers than someone’s grandma.
By the end of the video they’re attracting a lot of male attention with the help of their hot new ride, and even pick up a nice old man in the grocery store parking lot! I wonder if they ever figured out how to open the trunk so they could put their shopping bags away….

Apparently You Should Never Use A Q-Tip To Clean Your Ear Holes. Use THIS Instead!

People tend to view earwax in a negative light and see it as a sign of uncleanliness because it looks gross. It’s natural to automatically assume that earwax is nasty, after all it’s a bodily fluid that comes out of ears, there’s nothing appealing about it whatsoever.
That’s why people stick all sorts of cleaning solutions, Q-tips, candles, even automatic ear cleaner gadgets into their ears in vain attempts to remove the offensive substance. If you’re guilty of doing any of the aforementioned things you should re-think your ear-care routine because they can easily injure or damage sensitive inner ears.
When anything is stuck into an ear it simply makes them dirtier and increases the odds of developing an ear infection or worse. The most common way people try to clean their ears is with Q-tips but this is wrong, ineffective, and pushes wax further into the ear canal, thereby increasing the potential for build up and blockage. Whatever you do, don’t use Q-tips!
First and foremost, the bad reputation earwax has developed is without merit and based on false information. The yellowish waxy substance is produced naturally by our body and is beneficial to our health in several ways.
It helps protect inner ears from all sorts of nasty stuff like infections, dust, dirt, bacteria and other germs that would otherwise enter them. Furthermore, the wax forms a protective barrier on the surface of the delicate skin in ear canals which prevents it from becoming irritated when water gets inside.
It also moisturizes and keeps that skin from becoming dry, flaky, and itchy. Earwax is produced by tiny hair follicles that line the ear canal. It normally makes its way out of ear openings naturally on its own, but sometimes wax can build up and cause blockage problems.

1) Saline Solution- Dissolve 1 tsp of salt in ½ cup of water. Soak a cotton ball in the solution, tilt your head to the side, and allow a couple of drops to fall into your ear. Let the saline work to soften the wax and keep your head to the side for a few minutes before tilting it in the other direction to drain it.
2) Olive Oil- Carefully drip 2-3 drops of olive oil into your ear before going to bed at night and try to sleep on the opposite side. Repeat this process for 3-4 consecutive nights. It helps to softens earwax so that it naturally works its way out of the ear canal on its own.
3) Paraffin Oil- Over a candle flame heat 2-3 tablespoons of paraffin oil so that it’s warm but not hot. Lie still on your side and place a few drops in your ear, wait several minutes, then rinse with warm water. Repeat this for 3 days to help completely dissolve buildups.
4) Vinegar and Alcohol Solution- Mix equal parts white vinegar and rubbing alcohol, dip a cotton ball in the solution and place several drops in your ear. Wait a few minutes then drain.
5) Hydrogen Peroxide- Mix equal parts water with 3% hydrogen peroxide and drip a few drops in your ear before gently shake your head to work it through the canal. Leave in for a few minutes then tilt your head to the side and drain it out.

There is nothing more beautiful than the bond between a dog and their human. Many people admit that they are closer to their dogs and prefer to spend time with them over other humans. If you have ever had a dog or been around one you can understand why. They are the most loyal, loving and faithful companions anyone could ever ask for. Whether it’s a big dog that you can take hikes with all across the world or a small dog that is your devoted companion that you bring everywhere, there is a breed for every person and personality type out there. Today’s story is a bit of a strange and surprising one…
A man named Dan Tillery and his girlfriend Megan decided that they were going to take their relationship to the next level and get a dog together. Anybody who has ever been in a relationship knows that once you get a dog or cat together, this is a huge step in a relationship which brings you one step closer to marriage and children. This couple after thinking it all the way through decided that it was time to get a dog together so they could test out their parenting skills. The couple had just bought their first house together in Michigan, they had a lot of space and some land and figured a dog would be the perfect addition to the new house. Before they got the house they were in a pretty cramped apartment and although they wanted a pup they knew it was too small and wouldn’t be fair to the canine.
They decided to go to the Detroit Dog Rescue center and find the perfect dog to adopt and give a furever home! At the rescue center they looked at tons of dogs but one in particular stood out from the rest. This canine was an American Bulldog whose name was Sir Wiggleton! The moment they laid eyes on him they knew it was fate and this was their dream dog that would be perfect for their new home and family.
This dog had so much character and charisma and he always had this funny look on his face like he was smiling at something hilarious in the room. Dan quickly noticed that this happy and smiley pup was super photogenic. Almost every pic they took together became an instant classic. He began posting some of the pics to social media expecting to get tons of likes and happy responses letting him know how adorable his new buddy was. One photo in particular really launched off as the internet couldn’t get enough of the adorable pup and his new dad.
Little did he know these uploaded photo would bring a black cloud of contraversery he never could’ve imagined. First, he posted the photo on his personal accounts and thenthe Detroit Dog Rescue reposted the picture and in the caption said stated that after 100 days this amazing dog was finally adopted and they were sure this pic would “break the internet”. Soon after it was uploaded the pic went mega viral racking up over 100,000 like and was being shared all over the world. Dan was elated that he and his new best bud had become overnight internet sensations.
But the celebrations quickly came to a halt when a couple days later the police showed up at his house. He had no idea why they were there or what he did but this definitely wasn’t a prank and these cops were super serious. There had been a law put in place in Waterford the town he lived in, that banned owning pit bulls because of the perceived danger they could inflict on neighbors and neighbors pets. Even though Dan showed the cops the paper work from the rescue center stating that the dog was an American bulldog and not a Pitbull the cops just weren’t convinced.
They told him if he didn’t return the pup back to the shelter he could get a 500 dollar fine and actually be sent to jail for violating the town laws. Dan was completely devastated and people all around the world were lending their support. A battle between the law and the couple and animal activists from all sectors of the globe was exploding. Heated debates, anger and confusion were dominating the conversation. Inevitably the final verdict would be decided by a judge in their district court!

THIS Teacher Hid Her Secret Identity For Almost 50 Years! But After She Dies The Truth Is Revealed!

There are some teachers in life who truly break through to their students and make a difference in their lives. Genevieve Via Cava was one of those teachers and she will continue to make a difference for years and years to come thanks to a generous act she set in motion shortly before her death. While it only recently came to light some seven years after she died, it seems that she had planned for her final charitable act her whole entire life.
For almost 45 years Genevieve Via Cava was a middle school and high school special needs teacher in the Dumont school district, located in Bergen County, New Jersey. She loved her life’s work and helping all of the students who passed through her classroom over the years. Even after she retired in 1990, she’d still make time to stop back in at the school to check on students and have a friendly catch up chat with her old co-workers.
It was during one of those chats that Genevieve mentioned to the school superintendent, Emanuele Triggiano, that she had planned on leaving the school some money in her will. She passed away in 2011, but it wasn’t until seven years later that a check for $1 million arrived at the Dumont School District’s Board of Education. The generous donation was a shock to everyone, not only because of the massive amount, but also because Genevieve had been so quiet, frugal, and unassuming.
According to Richard Jablonski, a close friend and executor of Genevieve’s will, she had grown up during the depression and knew how to save a dime anywhere she could. She never splurged on things like clothes or trips and when she went shopping, she’d go straight to the 70% discount rack and only buy items on sale at deep discounts. She refused to even buy hearing aids when she needed them and all that scrimping added up over the years, to the point where she had in excess of a million extra dollars saved up.
In the end, the money she donated is to be used to fund scholarships for special needs students who are going on to pursue postsecondary education. The large amount she donated means that the interest it generates annually will fund scholarships of $25,000 for one or more students each year. It was set up this way so that the money wouldn’t run out once it had been dispersed, instead it will continue in perpetuity, or basically forever, since it’s funded off the interest.
The school wasn’t the only beneficiary in her will, five other local charities were left $100,000 each. They included animal charities, such as the Ramapo Animal Refuge, and The Salvation Army. In the end, Genevieve’s gifts will truly make a difference for years to come. It also goes to show just how important learning to manage and save money can be.
