I have always been fascinated by apes of all kinds. As they are our evolutionary cousins, watching their behavior and intelligence is particularly intriguing. Gorillas share 95% of our DNA; that fact and their enormity make them so captivating. They are beautiful and amazing creatures that should always be protected.
The video you are about to watch below, shows Amba the gorilla, who resides at the Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, in Kent, UK. Today he is 24 years old and weighs 485 pounds. The footage reveals very unusual behavior because most gorillas never walk like this. The video is quite a rare sight that has rarely been witnessed before.
One does not expect to see a Western lowland gorilla, like Amba, walking like a human! Normally they navigate on all fours, but it seems Ambam had modeled the behavior of the humans around him, and achieved perfect balance on his hind quarters. His posture and swagger took my breath away, as it was so like a muscular human male’s.
His remarkable achievement stirred debate and further study of how man evolved to walk on two legs.

Our heightened fear of the unexpected terrorist attack is not unrealistic. As we have always participated in fire drills as a precautionary measure, it seems both logical and prudent, to have exercises to train people how to best survive a terrorist attack domestically.
As many of us do not like the idea of people being armed in the workplace or schools, what tips or tricks can be taught and practiced to help train ordinary citizens going about their day, to defend themselves? In the video you are about to watch below, safety expert, Bill Stanton, illustrates several ways to protect yourself in the workplace.
He shows us how to place a belt on a door hinge to prevent the door from opening, in addition to using barricades and other utensils commonly found that will help to stop the attack. The point he makes is that you can’t stay frozen and passive under such circumstances.
Acting as a group to fight off the attack may very well mean the difference between life and death. People have good reason to be scared, in the face of the multiple mass shootings that we awake to on a regular basis. Fear is paralyzing; it is far better to be empowered with actions that can be taken, to give people a fighting chance, if the unthinkable should occur.

Adele has an incredibly powerful voice that is full of emotion and wonderful to listen to. The performances she puts on are always top notch and her vocal abilities never ceased to amaze audiences around the world. Her pure talent and now legendary stage presence is currently unrivaled and likely will be in the years to come.
However, she does have some competition in the form of an adorable and immensely talented dog named Buckeye. Buckeye’s rise to musical dog status has been sudden, as she only just recently burst onto the scene. It all started one day when she was driving in the car with her human companions and Adele’s new hit song “Hello” came on the radio.
Feeling the powerful song, she reached deep down inside her soul, opened her mouth, and began to howl along to it. Amazingly, Buckeye seems to hit quite a few of the notes and she does quite well at keeping up with the beat as well. Not many dogs could give such an impressive performance, check it out and hear for yourself!
The YouTube user who posted the footage, Disney Robey, wrote in the comments below that Buckeye is a rescue dog. Her human family adopted her the day before she was scheduled to be put down. After they helped her out she paid them back in kind, and now she spends her days helping to support them with their disabilities.
He also wrote that “she has been a life saver” and urged people to adopt a dog if they can. Excellent advice on his part, and who knows, you could end up rescuing a dog that’s just as talented and loving as Buckeye is and who might end up saving your life too!

Maker does a really complete job of walking you through the steps for getting rid of smells in your washer due to mold and mildew. She then continues to show you basic tricks for clearing your dryer of lint, even the secret places that it hides! This information will not only allow your machines to run most efficiently, but in the case of your dryer can be a fire preventative!

She Places Bubble Wrap All Over Her Windows. The Reason Is GENIUS!

Winter doesn’t officially begin until December 21, at 11:48 P.M. EST, but temperatures are dropping well below freezing in many areas of the country already. People have been digging out their warm clothes, blankets, and extra bedding, as well as cranking up the thermostat to keep their houses nice and comfortable.
That’s just about all you can basically do to fight the winter chill, but heating the house can turn into an expensive endeavor. When it comes to keeping the warm air in, and the cold air out, insulation is key. All the cracks and crevices, or drafty areas that you notice, need to be found and insulated.
The most common and draftiest areas of our houses where the majority of heat tends to escape is doorways and windows. Stores sell a variety of products that are meant to be used to keep these areas insulated, such as “draft stoppers” that fit under or around the bottoms of doors.
For windows, there are all different types of kits and sealants, but you can easily create your own window draft-blocker without spending any money at all. This quick and easy method to insulate a window is brought to you by YouTube user AlaskaGranny. She shows how to insulate a window with bubble wrap, so if you have any on hand be sure to save it!
Other than bubble wrap, you’ll also need a pair of scissors and a spray bottle with water. This takes less than a minute to do and it can be done on any type of window. To do it yourself, start by taking a piece of bubble wrap and cut it so that it fits the window that you want covered.
Next, grab the spray bottle and spritz some water onto the glass window and on the bubbly side of the plastic bubble wrap. Place that side, the wet and bubbly one, against the window so that the smooth side faces towards you. Gently press it into place and you’re done!
The bubble wrap will add extra insulation to the window and it stays in place naturally all winter long. When you want to remove it, simply peel it off. It won’t leave behind any marks and all you may have to do is clean the glass, but it’s nothing that a little Windex can’t fix. Try it this winter and save yourself a lot of money, you’ll be extra toasty and won’t have to spend a dime.

This Woman Was In So Much Pain That She Couldn’t Get Out Of Bed. But Then Her Sister Noticed Something..

Rhonda Gessner began writing a blog about her sister’s mysterious illness in 2001. She was suffering from severe muscle and stomach spasms. She went from doctor to doctor over the course of the following year; multiple biopsies did not find any results to explain her symptoms. They threw prescription drugs at her in an effort to find some solution.
There was some suspicion that she might have Multiple Sclerosis. Nothing definitive could be deduced as the cause for her terrible suffering, and as her health continued to decline she was certain she was dying. She was getting her affairs in order, and was planning a final trip. Gessner was on the phone with her one day, when something occurred to her.
She remembered an article a friend had sent her, and asked her sister if she had been drinking Diet Coke. Oddly enough, she was just about to open one, and said she drank it all the time. Eureka!! What was found was that Gessner’s sister had Aspartame poisoning! Commonly sold as NutraSweet and Equal, the amount of Aspartame she was consuming was lethal! She quit drinking diet soda and was given a medication to treat the effects of the Aspartame.
Eventually her pain receded, and she recovered. “Fortune” linked the overuse of aspartame to health problems. However, there has been no credible research evidence of it’s link to cancer, according to the US National Cancer Institute. Given the fact that there have been many reports of the kinds of symptoms and illness that are almost identical to what Gessner’s sister suffered, it should give us pause.

Devin is a little toddler out shopping with his parents. Some objects grabbed his attention, and he was relentless in his interest and tactile exploration. You might think that it was the stuffed animal aisle, or some toy trucks…but you would be wrong.
He was behaving very nicely as his parents went through the store, binky in mouth, when suddenly to his parents amazement and great amusement, he became entranced with the bra section! They were hanging down at his level, and many of them were of the padded variety.
His enthusiasm for these squishy objects, in the following footage, is hilarious. Who knew that this male fixation could start at such a young age?! Thankfully his parents don’t scold him, and just let him go through the display, delighted by his cuteness and curiosity.

They Thought There Was Something Odd About The UPS Guy. They Set Up A Hidden Camera and Caught THIS

It’s that time of year again, when Christmas cards, packages, and all the stuff that we ordered online starts to arrive at our front doors. December is by far the busiest month for all mail services and workers are bustling around the clock, making sure that people get their stuff delivered on time. In fact, this month the post office expects to break a new record.
They’re expecting to deliver an estimated 12.7 billion cards, letters, and packages between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve alone, and a further 3 billion before the month’s end. All those parcels and cards need to be delivered and you’re bound to see all the mail trucks out and about, making their rounds all day long.
Drivers have to work extra hard to meet the heavy demand. They are out no matter what, rain or shine, and often have to work through snow and icy conditions. So this holiday season, show your appreciation for the men and women who deliver your mail and leave them a small gift or a nice tip. It means a lot to them to know that you care. Plus, who knows, from there on out they may just handle your packages with extra care!
One family did just that and left out a gift, but they got an entirely unexpected and unique response from their delivery driver. Their home surveillance camera was pointed right at the front door and captured the awesome moment in all its glory. The UPS truck pulled up to the house and the delivery man went to the door and dropped off two packages.
Then he picked up the present that was waiting for him, opened it, and had the best reaction ever. He started dancing an Irish jig, or step dance, before taking a bow and calmly walking off back towards his truck. He must have gotten a substantial bonus from the family, and chances are he knew that he was on camera, so he thanked them through his dance.
So if you get a lot of packages in the mail throughout the year or in this busy month, remember to tip the hard working men and women who deliver them, and spread the holiday cheer and generosity.
