For thousands of years cats and dogs have been at war, while both being the closest human allies on planet earth. The war has been over petting time, sleeping areas, and table food. The reasons behind their dislike for one another have been scientifically studied and glorified in pop culture movie, books and of course the internet.
In the wild, Lions and Hyenas are mortal enemies, while Wolves battle with Wildcats. Now, when we take these two species and bring them into our human houses, that’s when things can really start to get out of control. In the wild, the canines and the felines would rather avoid each other if possible, but in the confined walls of a house instinctual tensions are sure to rise.
In the following video, a naughty dog tries to steal some tasty treats. He formulates a plan and goes for the gold. Little does he know, he is in for a huge surprise. She Tries To Naturally Communicate and Cuddle With This Grumpy Pig. His Response Is HILARIOUS!

Pigs are some of the most intelligent animals on the planet. Not only are they smart, but they are filled with personality. Meet a very funny pig, who may be just a slight bit grumpy. His human tries to communicate and cuddle with this adorable grumpster, but this piggy let’s her know how she feels about cuddles.
According to her human he likes Oreos, pho, and dog bones but when it comes to cuddling, don’t try it, unless he is in the mood! This big grumpy adorable baby is almost too much to handle. I feel like my heart is going to explode from his big goofy cuteness! This pig communicates in it’s native tongue, with hilarious grunts and displeased grumbling.
It really is amazing how much of a personality these pigs have. I’d love to have one of these big cuddle bugs but I think he might just be a tad too much work. He is definitely a bit extra but I’d love to see him when he’s out of his grumpy mood and into his cuddle mood!

He Told His Dog To ‘Play Dead’. But What He Proceeds To Do Made Me Spit My Drink Out!

There have been countless videos of animals pretending to play dead out there on the internet. Some do it to avoid taking a bath and, more commonly, others do it for treats. Whatever the reason it is almost always adorable to see and enjoyable for everyone involved. The dog gets to please its human and work for a reward while people seeing it get to smile.
A beautiful German Shepherd named Sam performs one flawless performance of this age old trick and it may be the best version out there! Sam’s rendition of playing dead is on par with what a professional canine actor would be expected to deliver. Her owner asks if she wants a treat and naturally she perks up with anticipation and goes towards him.
He tells her to stay and she obliges by sitting on her hind quarters with her two front paws dangling in the air, looking absolutely loveable. Then he backs up a few steps and says “BANG!” Right on cue Sam lets out a yelp as if she really has been shot and turns dramatically around in mock distress while going down on the floor.
She rolls over onto her back and puts all four paws up in the air, then looks proudly over at the camera. She has the trick down to an art and the yelp she adds is what places her above the competition. The trick is not done in vain as the owner then gives her a treat for doing such an excellent job. This puppy needs a role where she can showcase her acting skills and good-looking face.
She definitely has the most original and dramatic version of the playing dead trick I have ever seen!

He Was So Broken Over His Poached Rhino That He Did THIS. The Result Is I Now Believe In Miracles

Park rangers in South Africa found three rhinos brutally hacked and left to die by poachers who were after their horns. Luckily, two rhinos were found alive and given the names Themba and Thandi. Themba, a male, managed to survive 24 days before he succumbed to weakness and drowned while getting a drink at the watering hole.
His plight touched rescuers deeply and they wish to let the world know and see what these animals are going through. Thandi, a female, fought hard for her life and slowly recovered. She was the only one to make it through and live.
Three years after the brutal attack Thandi had become pregnant and was due to give birth to a young calf. When photographer and filmmaker Adrian Stein found this out he quickly went to find her in the bush at the Kariega Game Reserve on the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
He had been documenting her journey since the attack and wanted to capture Thandi’s pregnancy. The story of her plight was widely followed and had since become a national inspiration. Rangers accompanying Stein tracked Thandi down and when they first caught sight of her a little calf was standing by her side. She had given birth shortly before their arrival to a healthy baby whom they named Hope.
This touching story will hopefully be a catalyst for change and promote action to bring an end to the brutal attacks inflicted on these endangered animals and others like them. Currently there are less than about 25,000 wild African rhinos in existence and this baby, what she stands for and her survival, are vital to their recovery.
The mother and child have already inspired many people to take action, and if their story is spread, it can only promote more awareness, understanding and conservation efforts.

She Wrapped An Egg In Silk. But When She Unwraps The Egg It’s STUNNING!

There are many ways to dye an egg. Some people use Kool-Aid, food coloring, store bought kits, nail polish, and all sorts of other things. One lesser known method is an old fashioned way that uses dye from silk scarves to decorate hard boiled eggs. The scarves intricate patterns and colors transfer to the eggs, which turn out absolutely beautiful and truly unique, thanks to their level of detail.
All you need is eggs (uncooked), 100% silk scarves or ties, a ½ yard of white fabric, twist ties, white vinegar, and vegetable oil. You will also need scissors to cut the fabric and a pot of water to boil the eggs in, but that’s it! The whole process is neat and easily doable in under an hour.
However, do not use any of your favorite or treasured silk items because they will be altered by this; not completely ruined, but faded. Also, be sure to use only 100% silk to get the right results. Second hand or thrift stores are a great place to find them at the lowest cost.
To start, cut the silk and white fabric into 7 inch by 7 inch squares. Take an egg and wrap it very tightly in a silk square, then wrap that in a white fabric square, and secure with a twist tie. Once all the eggs are wrapped up place them in a pot and fill with water. Add 3 tablespoons of white vinegar to the water and boil for fifteen minutes.
Remove the eggs from the stove and allow them to cool off. Unwrap them from the fabrics and your done! If desired, rub the vegetable oil onto the finished eggs to give them a glossy sheen. The video says that the silks can be used 2-3 times in this fashion to dye eggs. The eggs are also edible, you start with raw ones and they becomes hard boiled by the end of the process.

Meet Stacy Zoern a woman who was born with muscular atrophy. For her entire life she has needed a wheelchair and a lot of her other movements were very limited. Whenever she needed to drive to a destination, she always needed to depend on friends or family to get her around. Being handicapped makes life a lot more complicated for many like Stacy. Luckily technology is starting to catch up with the special needs these people deserve.
Stacy learned about a company called Kenguru, which makes special cars for people with wheelchairs. She was so excited that she was finally going to be able to drive around on her own and not have to rely on anybody. Then she got the bad news, that the company was going to have to close down due to limited funding.
She was devastated but that didn’t stop her. She had made her mind up and nothing was going to stop her from her dream of driving her own car and not relying on others. She showed incredible perseverance in the face of adversity and would not take no for an answer!
She decided there was absolutely no way she would give up. She found multiple investors, and started up her own company, which eventually merged with Kenguru, and the special cars stayed in production! The video below is her story, and it is a lesson to us all to never give up in the face of adversity.

This 17 Year Old Built His Own Mortgage-Free House. But When You Step Inside Whoa!

One boy’s school project turned into a new lease on life, or actually mortgage-free life, when he ended up building a tiny house for himself. Austin Hay began building his tiny home when he was a fifteen year old freshman in high school and finished it at age seventeen. It all began when he was assigned to do a research project on anything he was passionate about.
His interest in the tiny house movement was already budding and after looking more into it he decided this would be perfect for his assignment. To start, he bought a used trailer for around two thousand dollars and the rest was built up from there. Money he had saved from summer jobs and basic knowledge gained from one woodworking class he had taken were all applied to the project.
After he had framed and put a roof on it he began work on the interior and design elements that would make it compact, comfortable and perfect for what he needs. Many of the items he used in building the house were found at junk yards and are second hand parts, such as the doors, windows and flooring.
He put in a lofted bed and even fit a complete bathroom with a hot water shower and composting toilette. By the time he finished his tiny house, Austin had spent around twelve thousand dollars and gained a lot of knowledge about construction, materials and building in general. He even had an open house for people to come by and check out the finished project.
In the future he plans on living in it through college and beyond, taking it with him wherever he ends up. The video gives a guided tour of the tiny house and shows it in various stages of completion. It includes reactions and interviews with his friends and family as well.
Austin’s sense of pride and joy at accomplishing the home is well earned, and shared by his grandfather, whose interview in the clip is especially touching. Check it out!
