He Pours H2O On His Propane Tank Before He Starts Grilling. The Reason? I Had No Idea!

Nothing tastes quite as delicious as food barbecued on the grill in the summertime, it just hits the spot. Everything from meat to corn on the cob and every other veggie under the sun takes on a whole new dimension of flavor when barbecued to perfection. There’s also nothing worse than finding out that you’re low or close to running out of gas right when you’re about to start grilling!
It happens, usually at the most inopportune times, especially if your propane tank doesn’t have a gauge on it. However, rather than abandon your BBQ plans you can try this neat little trick from America’s Test Kitchen to measure exactly how much propane is left in the tank. That way, you won’t ever run out of gas unexpectedly ever again.
First, boil up a pot of water and bring it outside to where your propane tank is located. Carefully pour the hot water all around the tank and down every side, making sure that the entire thing is covered. Next, feel around the tank with your hand and test areas to see if they are warm or cool.
Warm spots indicate that the tank was heated up by the water because with no gas to cool it down, there’s no propane at that level. Cool spots indicate the opposite. Where the tank is cooler to the touch is the level the propane is at. That’s because the liquid in the tank is absorbing all the heat, leaving the surface cool to the touch.
So the next time you are unsure about how much propane is left in your grill’s tank simply unleash your inner MacGyver, boil up a pot of water, and drip it down and around the tank. Cold spots will reveal the level and you can go from there.

Watching a talented dancer at the top of their game perform is amazing and electrifying, when it is a dance form that is particular to a culture, that we are unaccustomed to witnessing. It not only entertains, but invites us into a particular ritual that represents an aspect of that culture, which has existed for centuries.
In the video you are about to watch below, you are about to view a beautiful Tahitian dancer, Melanie Amen, perform the traditional dance for women known as the “Hura”. Much of the movement of this dance occurs in the hip area in ways that seem incomprehensible, she is one of the world’s most outstanding dancers of this art form.
Surprisingly, this 19-year-old pro at this Tahitian dance, is actually from Stockton, California. She began dancing as a tiny toddler and was competing in this dance form by the age of five! Traveling to compete against native Tahitians, she beat over a dozen finalists in the Ori Tahiti Nui World Dance Championship in Tahiti.
The footage you are about to watch will show you why this young woman is such a star; this competition occurred in California, where once again she took FIRST PLACE! Watching her is awe-inspiring..it is hard to believe that the human body is capable of such intricate and exotic movement!

Mom Confronts This Dog About Who Made The Mess. He Responds By Ratting and Pointing Out The Culprit!

At the :30 seconds mark, I totally lost it! Abby the French bulldog was having quite the time with a roll of toilet paper when her family was away, but she didn’t take into account that her friend Turner the giant bull mastiff would rat her out. She probably thought he was on her team and on the same time, and maybe Turner even helped her make the mess.
But when faced with judgment day and unrelenting pressure from his mama, Turner turns on Abby and blames the whole thing on her in the most hysterical way. Of course, by the look on Turner’s and Abby’s faces, I think I just might believe the huge bull mastiff.
From the beginning, Abby looks guilty. A long trail of toilet paper lays strewn behind her, ending in a garland around her little neck. The look in her eyes screams guilt, and she seems to realize she’s not going to get away with it this time. When the camera shifts to Turner, Abby just might have been hoping he would take the fall, but no such luck.
When asked, “Who did this, Turner?” the mastiff is hesitant. She was probably thinking about how much flack she was going to receive from the little one once their people weren’t around anymore. But Turner only hesitated for a second, before begrudgingly throwing poor Abby under the bus.
Pointing with her paw, the mastiff looks down in shame as she avoids trouble for herself, but becomes a snitch in the process. No one likes a snitch, and I can’t imagine Abby is any different. Once her only witness turns on her, Abby has no choice but to admit what she has done. With a look of guilt and shame, the bulldog hangs her head and tells the truth in the process.

This Isn’t a Normal Insect. If You See One Do Not Go Near It. The Reason is Terrifying!

Kissing bugs sound like nice, innocent insects, but they are the exact opposite of that description. The little pests are actually blood sucking parasites who feed on animals and people. They earned the “kissing” name because they tend to operate by biting their sleeping victims around the eye and mouth areas.
In some cases the nasty bugs are even deadly because they are responsible for spreading Chagas disease to both humans and animals. Chagas was once a rare parasitic infection but not anymore. A growing number of people in South America and the US are contracting it. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that approximately 8 million people in Mexico, Central, and South America have Chagas, while in the US over 300,000 people are currently infected!
Many of those who have it are unaware they’ve been infected and it can be life threatening if left untreated. Furthermore, Kissing bugs also transmit Chagas to pets and animals. Dogs are among the most susceptible to the disease and in the state of Texas, where kissing bugs are increasingly common, about 400 of them have died as a result of Chagas already!
The kissing bugs responsible for all of this death and disease are called by their scientific name “Triatomine Bugs.” They bite their unsuspecting victims around the eyes and mouth and when their feces comes into contact with either the bite area, or a mucous membrane like an eye, they pass the parasite known as Trypanosoma Cruzi to the host.
The parasite is spread in this gross manner because it lives in the bug’s feces and that happens to be the main way in which it enters a person or animal’s body. As if that wasn’t already nasty enough, canines can contract Chagas in other ways, such as by eating the bugs or infected animal feces.
Once a human or animal has been infected they usually remain unaware that they have the disease until it’s progressed to a later, and more serious, stage. Furthermore, in some cases it may be asymptomatic, meaning there are no symptoms whatsoever until one appears suddenly out of nowhere.
This later point is why it’s being called the “silent killer” and people are being urged to familiarize themselves the signs and symptoms of Chagas disease, which include the following; confusion, weakness, diarrhea, loss of appetite, depression, lethargy, swollen abdomen, a lack of coordination, seizures or jerky movements, and increased heart rate.
There are currently tests available that can detect Chagas if you ever want to get tested. If you suspect you may have it then definitely get tested right away because when the disease is found early enough it can usually be successfully treated and the harmful side-effects lessened.
Please pass this information on so that others are aware of the dangers that kissing bugs pose, and monitor pets health for any signs of chagas disease.

The idea of aesthetic perfection is perpetuated by the allowance and encouragement of sharing opinions in response to what we are exposed to online. Through the use of social media people have been empowered to put their two cents in, whether it is positive or negative.
In this way we have been granted permission to forget all social filters and common courtesy because we often don’t know the people affected by the feedback. The result is a build up of what has been deemed perfect and a harsh beat down of anything contrary. By creating this video, Em Ford shines a light on unrealistic expectations of beauty.
After posting images of herself sans makeup on social media, she was bombarded with hurtful remarks and insults. She used the criticism as inspiration to share her story and became a revolutionary for people who suffer from similar issues due to false ideas of perfection.
Em says, “You are beautiful – no matter how flawed you feel, no matter how upset you may be about the way you look or how hard you find it to make friends, or be confident. Believe in yourself, and never let anyone tell you you’re not beautiful – not even yourself.”

She Is Doing Yoga When An Unexpected Visitor Shows Up. When He Shows Up I Can’t Stop Laughing!

Cats are naturals at yoga. They can flex and contort their furry little bodies into the craziest positions without even thinking about it and while purring in delight. It seems like every time one switches positions or gets up from a nap they have to yawn and do a big stretch, before flopping back over into another yoga-like pose to resume their sleep.
It often seems like kitties bodies were built for stretching and that’s why they are among the top performers of yoga on the planet. Humans have a lot of catching up to do if they want to be able to keep up with fluffy in the yoga department. One woman was doing just that and decided to film herself practicing her technique.
She laid down her mat, positioned the camera directly at it, and got straight to work. Her first pose was a headstand and she can be seen slowly toe climbing her way into an arch and bringing her feet up over head until they’re extended straight above her. Right as the woman is beginning to arch her spine more and extend her legs further back, we lose sight of her.
That’s because a big, orange, cat makes himself comfortable right in front of the camera lens! His adorable face is priceless and his expression says it all. He is clearly unimpressed by his lady friend’s yoga skills, no matter how well balanced she may be. The kitty looks bored with the whole scene and slowly closes his eyes as he prepares for his nap.
The orange cat clearly wanted some camera time and must know that he is the one with real star power, because the internet is loving his video appearance. Perhaps this woman should bring her feline friend to a cat yoga class. Some studios offer classes where humans and cats can get their stretch on.
There are even specific poses and maneuvers that have been specially developed for cats. Instead of tripping over the poor cat while switching poses you can instead incorporate kitty into a session, and you will both be happier and healthier from it. After all, a yogi kitty can teach us mere mortals a lot about stretching, so why not partner up with your cat!

When I saw the surprise this precious beagle received for his birthday, I was amazed! At first, I couldn’t figure out was going on, as the dog lay calmly on the couch. But then, I noticed the carpet start to move, and then the couch, and a chair here and a chair there. I couldn’t guess what was about to come next.
Then the box arrives, and I had no idea what was inside, until the rainbow torrent burst forth. Watch the video to find out what the perfect birthday present turns out to be for this pup! “There I was, just lying on the couch, having a nice afternoon siesta, when the furniture started to move…on its own!
I was a little startled for a second, but I’ve seen weirder in my day. I am only really half paying attention, still more interested in relaxing. But then, things start to get interesting: the people have a box. And they are opening the box. What is in the box? What, oh, what ever could it be? Is that a ball…is that more balls?
Oh my goodness, it is a million black and white balls! For me, you say? For me!? This is the best birthday ever!” His relaxing demeanor turned to frisky bliss as soon as that ball pit was filled. Like a young puppy, he was filled with wonder and glee. We can all learn a thing or two about appreciating life by listening to the lessons our wise pets teach us.

Video: This Guy Takes His Camera and Zooms In On The Moon. What He Caught Is Incredible!

When he zoomed in on the moon, I was amazed by what I saw! I have seen lots of photographs of the moon, many even taken through telescopes, but this beats them all! Like everyone else on the planet, I find the moon to be quite pleasing to observe. Even without magnification, the earth’s most intimate heavenly body is breathtaking.
Somehow, it just never gets old. Regardless of whether it is a new moon, full moon, or anything in between, our glorious moon has captured the collective heart and imagination of humanity since the dawn of our kind.
Using a Nikon P900 camera with an 83x optical zoom, the photographer starts the shot with the moon just as one might see it with their naked eye. But then the magic begins: as he zooms in, the moon grows larger and larger until it completely fills the frame. The detail is incredible!
He zooms in so close, you can actually see the movement of the moon as it spins in orbit around the earth, and as the earth rotates around its own axis. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, he zooms in even more, showing in incredible detail the craters where asteroids and meteors have struck the surface!
I hope you enjoy this amazing video as much as I did. The moon is seen as a spiritual being in many cultures and has a huge influence on our lives. Without it, we literally would not exist, at least not on this planet.
The moon is so close to the earth that its gravity pulls the oceans towards itself, causing the tides. The tides, in turn, make life as we know it possible.
